**Quality is more important than quantity.**
I would rather receive a smaller list of highly accurate prospects than hundreds of generic HVAC companies.
I am looking for an experienced lead researcher to build a highly targeted prospect list of U.S.-based HVAC companies.
This is NOT a generic HVAC scraping project.
I specifically need established HVAC companies that are actively spending money on customer acquisition through Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Search Ads, or Google Local Services Ads (LSA).
I also need each company checked for signs of existing AI or lead-response automation.
Budget: $70 fixed-price.
If the quality of the first project is strong, this can become ongoing work.
IDEAL PROSPECT
Each company must:
- Be a U.S.-based HVAC / Heating & Cooling contractor
- Be actively running at least ONE of the following:
- Facebook / Instagram Ads
- Google Search Ads
- Google Local Services Ads (LSA)
- Be an established operating business
- Preferably have 50+ Google reviews
- Show signs of having multiple technicians/employees/service vehicles
- Appear to be actively growing or investing in customer acquisition
- Primarily have 1–5 locations
Companies with 6–10 locations may be included if they are independently operated and otherwise strongly match the criteria.
Do NOT include companies with more than 10 locations.
DO NOT INCLUDE
- National HVAC corporations
- Large enterprise HVAC companies
- Companies with more than 10 locations
- Corporate franchise headquarters
- HVAC supply stores
- HVAC manufacturers
- Marketing agencies
- Lead-generation companies
- Businesses outside the United States
- Inactive businesses
- Companies with no evidence of active paid advertising
- Very small businesses with little evidence of meaningful lead volume
- Duplicate companies
REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR EACH PROSPECT
Please provide:
1. Company Name
2. Website
3. City
4. State
5. Business Phone
6. Owner / Founder / Decision-Maker Name when available
7. Decision-Maker Title
8. Decision-Maker Business Email when available
9. Direct Phone Number
10. Facebook / Instagram Ads: Yes / No
11. Google Search Ads: Yes / No
12. Google LSA: Yes / No
13. Evidence/source used to verify active advertising
14. Google Review Count
15. Number of Locations
16. Company Size Signals
17. Growth / Capacity Signals
18. Existing Automation Detected: Yes / No / Unclear
19. Type of Automation Detected
20. Automation Evidence / Notes
AI / AUTOMATION RESEARCH
For every company, check for publicly visible signs that they already use AI or automated lead-response technology.
Check for:
- AI website chatbot
- Automated website chat
- AI receptionist
- AI voice answering
- Automated phone answering
- Online appointment scheduling
- Automated lead qualification
- Automated SMS/chat follow-up
- CRM/lead automation when publicly identifiable
- Other obvious lead-response automation
Record:
Existing Automation Detected:
YES / NO / UNCLEAR
If YES, briefly explain what was found.
Examples:
"Website has AI chatbot."
"Website uses automated chat and online scheduling."
"Company publicly states it uses AI phone answering."
"Chat widget detected, but unclear whether it is AI."
Do NOT guess.
If you cannot confidently determine whether automation exists, mark it as UNCLEAR.
Do NOT automatically exclude a company because it already has some automation.
I still want these companies included so I can determine whether their existing system only handles part of the lead-response process.
IMPORTANT AI CHECKING RULE
Only use publicly available information.
Do not call companies pretending to be a customer.
Do not submit fake lead forms.
Do not provide fake customer information.
Do not intentionally trigger SMS campaigns or other communications.
The purpose is only to identify publicly visible signs of existing automation.
ADVERTISING VERIFICATION
Advertising must be manually verified when possible.
For Facebook / Instagram Ads:
Use Meta Ad Library to confirm active advertising.
For Google Search Ads:
Verify paid/sponsored search placement when possible.
For Google Local Services Ads:
Verify that the company appears as an active Local Services advertiser when possible.
Do not mark a company as actively advertising based only on assumptions.
COMPANY SIZE / CAPACITY SIGNALS
Look for publicly available signs such as:
- Multiple technicians
- Team page
- Multiple service vehicles
- Hiring HVAC technicians
- Careers page
- Multiple crews
- Expanded service areas
- Multiple locations
- Recent company growth
- Active promotions
- Significant review volume
These signals help determine whether the company is established enough to benefit from additional lead conversion.
QUALITY STANDARD
Quality is more important than quantity.
I would rather receive a smaller list of highly accurate prospects than hundreds of generic HVAC companies.
Every prospect should be researched against the criteria above.
Do not fill the list with companies simply to increase the number of leads.
The final research should be delivered in Google Sheets or Excel.
This is a fully paid project. No unpaid samples, unpaid test work, or free research is required during the application process.
Client's questions:
1. Have you previously researched U.S. HVAC or other home-service companies? Briefly describe your experience.
2. How would you verify that an HVAC company is currently running Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Search Ads, or Google Local Services Ads?
3. How would you research whether a company already appears to use an AI receptionist, AI chatbot, automated SMS follow-up, online booking, or other lead-response automation?
4. What tools do you use to find and verify business owners, decision-makers, business emails, company size, and other prospect information?
5. Approximately how many thoroughly researched prospects can you provide for this $70 fixed-price project while meeting ALL of the requirements in the job description?

About Webtec
Webtec is a remote-first digital growth agency headquartered in Stockholm. We have shipped
more than 5,000 website projects for clients across 60 countries. We are rebuilding how we
produce websites, and SEO preservation sits at the center of that work.
The role
We redesign and rebuild client websites at volume. Every rebuild puts existing SEO value at
risk, and every rebuild is a chance to make that value stronger. This role owns both sides of that
outcome.
You run the audit before anyone touches design. You protect the rankings through the rebuild.
You enhance both SEO and AEO on the new site. You are the SEO partner on every project,
from the first audit to the final redirect check. You do the work, you automate the repeatable
parts, and you oversee the output.
The workflow you will own
On every project, in this order:
1. Run the full SEO audit first. Nothing goes to design until the SEO blueprint is approved.
2. Get access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics, then pull the historical
data.
3. Crawl the existing site with Screaming Frog and analyze it in Ahrefs and Semrush.
4. Run the business analysis. Understand the client's services, market, and goals so the
SEO plan serves the business, not rankings alone.
5. Extract every existing page, its copy, its rankings, and its URL structure. Nothing gets
lost.
6. Propose the new URL structure and lead the keyword and entity research.
7. Extract the old copy, run it through AI, and propose the final copy for each page, written
to our guidelines.
8. Build the one-to-one 301 redirect map, then confirm at launch that every ranking signal,
page, and redirect survived.
9. Enhance the new site for SEO and AEO: schema, FAQ answers built to earn citations in
AI search, technical health, and conversion tracking.
10. Monitor after launch and confirm the rankings held and improved.
Beyond the workflow
- Follow our SEO and copywriting guidelines to the letter, so we preserve what works and
enhance the rest.
- Automate the repetitive parts of this process with AI, then oversee the results.
- Either stay embedded with the production team across projects, or teach the full
preservation process so every team member can run it on their own work. We want both
over time.
What we are looking for
- 3 years or more in SEO, ideally in an agency or a high-volume production environment.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and custom CMS platforms.
- Strong technical SEO: crawling, indexing, redirects, schema, and site architecture.
- Fluency with the core tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs,
Semrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Real AEO experience, so content wins in AI answers and not only in classic search.
- Comfort prompting AI to do real production work, not just draft text.
- A solid grasp of digital marketing and business fundamentals, so your SEO decisions
serve client goals.
- Working knowledge of website development and how sites get built.
- Excellent written English.
Nice to have
- Programmatic SEO experience.
- Experience training or mentoring a team on a defined process.
Our hiring progress
After the first conversations, we send a short practical test built on a real production scenario.
We do not want an AI-generated essay. We want to watch you solve a genuine problem using
AI, because a large part of this role is automating the repetitive work and overseeing the result.
Show us how you think and how you use your tools.
How to apply
Send your CV, portfolio, and relevant links to us. In your message, tell us
about one migration or redesign where you protected the SEO and made it stronger, and what
you did to get there
Mechanical Engineer Needed to Design Industrial Mulch Colorizer
We are a U.S.-based steel fabrication company looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to help design a new industrial mulch colorizer. This project involves studying existing equipment currently on the market and developing an original design that improves upon current solutions.
About the Project
We manufacture industrial equipment and fabricated steel products and are expanding into the mulch processing industry. We have identified several commercially available mulch colorizers (such as the Vector 725 and similar machines) that perform the functions we're looking for. We are not looking to copy an existing product. Instead, we want to understand the engineering principles behind these machines and develop our own improved design.
The finished design should be optimized for manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and cost.
Responsibilities
Research existing mulch colorizer equipment
Reverse engineer overall functionality and operating principles
Develop concepts for an improved machine
Design complete mechanical assemblies
Perform calculations for shafts, bearings, drives, structural members, and power transmission
Select commercially available components (bearings, motors, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, hydraulic components, etc.)
Create detailed 3D CAD models
Produce manufacturing drawings suitable for fabrication
Assist with prototype revisions as testing progresses
Preferred Experience
We're looking for engineers with experience designing equipment such as:
Experience designing welded steel structures is a major plus.
Deliverables
Initial concept layouts
Complete 3D assembly model
Detailed fabrication drawings
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Assembly drawings
Recommendations for purchased components
Engineering support during prototype fabrication
Software
Preferred experience with one or more of:
SolidWorks
Autodesk Inventor
Fusion 360
Creo
Similar professional CAD software
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience designing industrial machinery from the ground up
Understands manufacturing and fabrication processes
Can communicate design decisions clearly
Can work through multiple design revisions
Thinks creatively about improving existing equipment instead of simply duplicating it
To Apply
Please include:
Examples of industrial machinery you've designed
Photos or screenshots of previous work
Your CAD software proficiency
Years of mechanical design experience
Your estimated hourly rate
A brief explanation of how you would approach this project
This project has the potential to become a long-term relationship as we continue developing additional industrial equipment.

Contract Project Manager — American Industrial Revitalization
Engagement: 20–25 hours/week · 3–6 months · Remote, US-based · Optional site travel Rate: $40–$75/hour depending on experience and scope of client ownership Start: Immediate
Who we are
We're a boutique consultancy working almost exclusively with high-complexity, low-volume US industrial businesses — companies held as portfolio assets inside private equity funds, and multi-generational family-owned manufacturers. The through-line in everything we do is revitalizing the American industrial base. This is not run-of-the-mill consulting; our clients make real, hard things, and the work is about making those businesses stronger and more durable.
Our leadership team is three ex-McKinsey consultants. The delivery team flexes up and down with project size. You would report directly to leadership — there are no layers between you and the people running the firm.
The role
As the team flexes around projects, we need someone who is the constant: the person who knows the status of everything, keeps the operating rhythm intact, and makes sure this week's work actually happens this week.
This is a hands-on role with real external exposure. You'll be a direct point of contact for clients, and you'll have the opportunity — not the obligation — to travel to client sites. We think the people who take us up on that get the most out of the work, because you understand an industrial business very differently once you've walked the floor.
What you'll own
Project management. Maintaining plans and timelines across engagements, tracking who owes what by when, chasing what slips, flagging risks before they become problems, and producing status updates crisp enough for a client CEO or a PE operating partner to read in ninety seconds. You'll run our weekly project rhythm — agenda beforehand, decisions and owners captured afterward.
Client interface. Direct contact with client teams, which on any given week might mean a family-business owner, a plant manager who's been there thirty years, or a fund's operating partner. Running status calls, answering questions in-channel, and — the part that matters most — communicating slipped dates and bad news early and cleanly. You're not selling and not negotiating scope, but you are the face of whether our work feels well-run from the outside.
Team calendar and rhythm. Owning the calendar across a small team and multiple concurrent engagements — scheduling working sessions and client reviews, protecting focus time, and absorbing the reschedules that come with client-driven work.
Procurement coordination. We run RFPs on behalf of and alongside our clients — software and industrial systems, professional services, equipment and facilities. Our team writes the RFP documents. You run everything around them: vendor lists and outreach, tracking the Q&A window and making sure every vendor gets the same information, organizing responses into something comparable, and making sure the decision gets made rather than drifting.
What we're looking for
You've done this shape of work before — ideally 3+ years managing multi-workstream projects with real deadlines and multiple stakeholders. You write clearly and briefly, which matters more here than in most places: our leadership team came up in an environment where written communication is the product.
You're organized in a way that's visible to other people, not just to you. If we ask "where does [WORKSTREAM] stand," we should get an answer in under a minute.
You're credible with industrial clients. You can talk to a plant manager and a fund partner in the same day and adjust without being either condescending or out of your depth. Manufacturing or industrial exposure is a strong plus. What's non-negotiable is the absence of consultant-speak — our clients have usually seen a firm come through before, and jargon costs you trust immediately.
You use AI seriously in your day-to-day work. Not "I've tried ChatGPT" — we mean you've built actual workflows around it and have opinions about where it helps and where it doesn't. Turning messy site-visit notes into clean action items, drafting first-pass updates, summarizing a stack of vendor responses into a comparison, background research on a supplier. We'd rather have someone who's genuinely restructured how they work than someone who's collected tool names.
You're good with clients. Calm, clear, and credible on a call. Specifically: you can tell a client something has slipped without either over-apologizing or getting defensive, and you know that doing it early is what preserves trust.
Tools we use: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word — done properly, not approximately. And Claude, daily and throughout. If you're already working this way you'll recognize the environment immediately; if you're not, this isn't the right seat.
How we work. We're small, mission-oriented, and impact-focused. We work hard and we're direct with each other. We also spend a lot of time together — on calls, on client sites, and over dinner afterward — so we care as much about whether someone is good company as whether they're good at the job. Low ego, no politics, interesting to talk to, holds their own opinions. We'd rather run short-handed than add someone we don't want at the table.
Nice to have: manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain background; experience in a PE-backed operating environment; PMP or similar (useful signal, not required); comfort building a tracker or dashboard without being asked.
How to apply
Please skip the generic cover letter. Answer these three questions directly:
Describe a project you managed where the timeline was at risk. How did you spot it, what did you do, and how did it land with the client?
Describe one workflow you've built using AI tools. What was the before, what's the after, and where did you decide not to use it?
What draws you to industrial work specifically? And what's your availability over the next 3–6 months, including other commitments you'd be balancing? Bonus: Your favorite restaurant and why

About the project
I run a faceless business & startup case-study channel — cinematic “why this company collapsed” documentaries (roughly 11–15 min, narrated, data-driven). Style and quality example: the CoreSight channel on YouTube (their “How One Ad Destroyed Jaguar’s Billion-Dollar Empire” video is exactly the look and pacing I’m chasing). Cold, cinematic, money-focused; charts + stock footage + headline cards.
The motion graphics, charts, titles, and final polish are handled in-house. I need you for the footage layer only: selecting and cutting b-roll to a provided voiceover, laying in music, and handling source clips correctly. You don’t need to be a motion-graphics artist.
What you’ll do each video
• Work from materials I provide: a finished voiceover (audio), the script, and a shot list with timecodes telling you what each moment needs.
• Select and cut b-roll and stock footage so it’s tightly timed to the narration — good clip choices, good rhythm, no dead air.
• Lay in a music bed (royalty-free / licensed only) and rough the audio levels so the voice stays clear.
• Leave clean “hold” moments where marked, so I can composite charts, titles, and graphics on top afterward.
• Deliver a graphics-free 1920×1080 export (H.264 or ProRes) plus your project file.
Fair use & staying monetization-safe (please read — this is a real requirement)
Some videos analyze a specific ad, product, or moment, so we do use short excerpts of source material under genuine fair-use commentary/criticism. I need an editor who understands how to do this correctly.
• Use only short, necessary excerpts (seconds), always transformative — the clip supports the narration’s point; it never carries the video.
• Prefer stills/screenshots (a freeze-frame of the ad, a headline, a document) over rolling copyrighted video wherever the point can be made that way.
• Understand that Content ID can still claim even legitimate fair use, and know how the dispute process works and when a claim just means “no/shared revenue on that video” vs. a real problem.
• Never use copyrighted music, long unedited copyrighted clips, or anything that would put a monetization strike on the channel.
• Keep a simple source log for each excerpt (where it’s from, why it qualifies) so any claim can be disputed cleanly.
You’re a great fit if you
• Have edited documentary / video-essay / commentary content and can point to examples.
• Have a genuine eye for footage rhythm — you know which clip lands and how fast to cut to a voice track.
• Are comfortable sourcing from royalty-free libraries (Pexels, Pixabay, Storyblocks, etc.) and organizing assets.
• Understand fair-use commentary and Content ID in practice, not just theory.
• Communicate clearly and hit deadlines (target ~1 video/week).
Not needed
• Motion graphics, chart animation, or title design (handled in-house).
• On-camera or voiceover work (voice is already produced).
• Scriptwriting or research (provided).
Paid test task (how I screen)
I’ll send a 60–90 second voiceover clip + a short shot list. You return a footage-and-music cut timed to it, with any source clips handled per the fair-use notes above, and a one-line note on your clip choices. Paid at your quoted rate for the test. Strong tests move straight to ongoing per-video work.
To apply
Please include: (1) 1–2 links to documentary/commentary edits you’ve done, (2) one sentence on how you keep source clips monetization-safe, and (3) your per-video rate for ~12–15 min faceless documentary footage edits.
Bonus if you’ve watched CoreSight and can say in a line what makes its pacing work.
Fitness Superstore and French Fitness sell commercial-grade fitness equipment nationwide. We are hiring a part-time Product Proposal & Quote Coordinator to work alongside an existing coordinator and add reliable capacity to our team.
You will take requests that may arrive as emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, product lists, sketches, floor-plan notes, or incomplete specifications and turn them into clear product recommendations, comparison sheets, quote drafts, proposal packages, clarification questions, and action lists.
Formal government-bid experience is not required.
We care much more about natural commercial judgment and product thinking. The right person can read a complicated request, understand what the customer is actually trying to accomplish, find suitable products, compare specifications, select a defensible primary recommendation and alternative, identify missing information, and package everything clearly.
Someone who is naturally good at selecting products and assembling proposals will be a stronger fit than someone whose main experience is completing government forms or operating procurement portals. We can train the right person on our bid, registration, and submission procedures.
What You Will Work On:
- Review incoming equipment requests, customer emails, specification lists, spreadsheets, scope documents, and related source files.
- Extract requirements into a clean line-item or requirements matrix.
- Research products using Fitness Superstore, French Fitness, Shopify, manufacturer websites, vendor catalogs, specification sheets, warranty documents, and approved internal sources.
- Recommend the best product for each requested line and provide a sensible alternative when appropriate.
- Compare dimensions, features, intended use, warranty, condition, lead time, price, shipping, installation, removal, and other material requirements.
- Explain why a product matches, where it differs, and whether the difference requires clarification or customer approval.
- Recognize when no suitable product exists or when an opportunity should not be pursued.
- Build organized Google Sheets or Excel files with requested items, recommended products, alternatives, source links, pricing, quantities, assumptions, gaps, and totals.
- Prepare clear Google Docs, Word, PDF, or email-ready proposal and quotation drafts.
- Organize product specification pages, warranty information, product links, quote documents, and attachments into a complete package.
- Draft concise clarification questions when requirements, funding, quantities, installation, removal, warranty, delivery, or product-equivalency expectations are unclear.
- Maintain accurate deadlines, statuses, follow-up dates, submission receipts, and source links in the team tracker.
- Keep each opportunity, spreadsheet, attachment, and email thread separate and correctly versioned.
- Coordinate with the existing proposal coordinator and team leader so that every opportunity has one clear primary owner and a second-person quality review.
- Learn our vendor registration, RFQ/RFP, portal, and submission procedures after demonstrating strong product and proposal judgment.
- Hand won or accepted opportunities into the correct order-processing workflow with complete product, pricing, delivery, installation, and customer-decision information.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in at least one relevant area: product research, product selection, quotation preparation, proposal assembly, technical sales support, procurement support, product sourcing, estimating coordination, sales operations, or specification comparison.
- Strong Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel ability, including filters, formulas, lookups, structured comparison tables, links, totals, and quality checks.
- Ability to research products from multiple sources and distinguish verified facts from assumptions.
- Ability to compare products using actual specifications rather than relying only on marketing language.
- Strong written English and the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Excellent file organization, naming, source-linking, and version-control habits.
- Sound judgment about when to recommend a product, offer an alternative, ask a question, escalate a risk, or stop pursuing an opportunity.
- Ability to manage several active requests without mixing files, details, customers, or deadlines.
- Reliable communication and the ability to flag blockers early.
- Availability for at least two working hours of overlap with the U.S. Pacific time zone on normal weekdays.
Strong Bonus Experience:
- Commercial fitness equipment, exercise equipment, medical equipment, industrial equipment, hospitality equipment, restaurant equipment, construction products, office furniture, or another specification-driven product category.
- Shopify or other ecommerce product catalogs.
- Freight, room-of-choice delivery, assembly, installation, removal, haul-away, or vendor coordination.
- Vendor catalogs, procurement, quotations, estimating, technical sales, or pre-sales support.
- RFQ, RFP, government, school, university, municipal, military, or corporate procurement work.
- Vendor registrations and procurement portals.
Government-bid experience is a bonus only. It is not required and will not outweigh product judgment, spreadsheet quality, and paid-test performance.
What This Role Is Not:
- This is not a grant-writing position.
- This is not a legal or government-compliance consulting position.
- This is not a generic copywriting position.
- This is not a data-entry-only virtual assistant position.
- This is not a cold-calling or commission-sales role.
- This is not a role for someone who blindly copies product names into a spreadsheet.
- This is not a role where unsupported claims such as “equal or better” are acceptable.
- This is not a role where the person may promise pricing, delivery, installation, warranty, or product equivalency without supporting evidence and internal approval.
First Project / Paid Test:
The first assignment will be a fixed-price paid product-matching and proposal-assembly test.
We will provide a mock multi-location commercial gym request, product links and catalog information, pricing information, floor-plan or space notes, and several intentionally incomplete or conflicting requirements.
You will be asked to:
- Build a requirements matrix.
- Recommend a primary product for each requested line.
- Provide one alternative where it adds value.
- Document source links and material specification matches or gaps.
- Identify clarification questions, assumptions, risks, and potential no-fit items.
- Build a clean quotation worksheet.
- Prepare a concise customer-ready proposal summary.
- Prepare an internal recommendation stating what should proceed, what needs clarification, and what should be held or declined.
The test is designed to measure product judgment, proposal organization, spreadsheet accuracy, and decision-making. It does not test government-bidding knowledge.
Proposal Instructions:
Begin your proposal with the exact words:
PRODUCT MATCHING FIRST
Please include:
- One relevant work sample involving product selection, quotations, comparisons, sourcing, estimating, proposal assembly, or technical recommendations.
- A brief explanation of what you personally did on that project.
- Your proposed hourly rate.
- Your weekly availability.
- Your time zone and normal Pacific-time overlap.
- Answers to all five screening questions.
Do not submit a generic government-bid-writer, grant-writer, or virtual-assistant cover letter. Your proposal should show how you think through products, requirements, alternatives, and incomplete information.
Expected Workload:
- Approximately 10 to 20 hours per week initially.
- Four-week paid trial.
- Ongoing work for a successful candidate.
- Potential to expand to approximately 20 to 30 hours per week if opportunity volume and performance support it.
- Work will be assigned as complete opportunities whenever practical so that ownership remains clear.
- Same-business-day acknowledgment is expected for assigned work during normal working days.
Budget / Rate Guidance:
- Expected starting range: $18 to $30 per hour.
- We may consider up to $35 per hour for an exceptional candidate with highly relevant work samples, strong product judgment, excellent spreadsheet skills, and outstanding paid-test performance.
- Paid test budget: $125 fixed price.
- This is an intermediate-level execution and judgment role, not a senior government-contracting consultancy.
Client's questions:
Describe a project where you turned an incomplete request, product brief, or specification into a complete recommendation, quotation, or proposal. What was missing, what did you produce, and what was the result?
Describe a spreadsheet you built for product comparisons, quotations, sourcing, estimating, or proposals. Which Excel or Google Sheets features did you use, and how did you verify the accuracy of the data?
Describe a time product names, prices, specifications, or files were inconsistent. How did you identify the correct information and prevent the wrong version from being used?
A customer requests a product with no exact match. Explain how you decide whether to recommend an alternative, ask questions, escalate, or advise it isn't a good fit. Include a real example if possible.
A client needs equipment for a commercial gym with a fixed budget, limited space, and installation requirements. What information would you evaluate before selecting products and preparing a proposal?

We are a functional medicine/diagnostic laboratory looking for a detail‑oriented contractor to help us build a de‑identified research dataset from existing patient orders and lab results stored in our cloud folders (Box). The goal is to correlate (KPU) test results with associated diagnostic codes and conditions in a way that is fully HIPAA‑compliant and anonymized.
You will work inside our secure environment to:
Review provider accounts and order history to identify tests that include KPU (often as part of an advanced metabolic panel).
Extract structured data from each order: internal study ID (not patient ID), diagnostic codes (e.g., ICD‑10), mapped conditions (e.g., tic disorder, mineral metabolism disorder), order year, and KPU result status/level.
Populate a spreadsheet template with only non‑identifying data, following strict de‑identification rules (no names, addresses, full dates of birth, medical record numbers, or free‑text that could identify a patient).
Perform basic quality checks to confirm that the final dataset is fully anonymized, suitable for correlation and statistical analysis.
We are specifically looking for someone who:
Has experience working with medical records, diagnostic codes, or healthcare data.
Understands HIPAA concepts around PHI and de‑identified data, and is willing to follow a clear SOP and sign a confidentiality agreement/BAA.
Is comfortable navigating web portals and cloud storage (Box), and working systematically through lists of orders.
This is an initial project to build a research‑ready anonymized dataset; if it goes well, there is potential for ongoing work as we expand our data pipelines and studies.
Looking for a motivated remote sales rep to identify small businesses that do not have an existing website. The goal is to research/identify potential clients, reach out to them and present them with a sales pitch for building them a website. All information will be supplied. Every closed sale will result in a bonus payment. I've attached a graphic as an example of the sales pitch.

About us
Shipr is a Tampa-based 3PL. We do pick-and-pack fulfillment for ecom brands plus DDP freight out of China. Flat per-order pricing, single-line-item invoicing, no junk fees. We're already running paid social now we want a Google Ads channel that produces booked sales calls.
What we need
Someone to build and manage Google Search (and possibly Performance Max / retargeting, if you can justify it) with one job: qualified leads at a CPL that makes sense for a B2B service with a long-ish LTV.
Scope:
Account build from scratch or audit + rebuild of what exists
Keyword research around fulfillment / 3PL / warehousing / freight intent, plus aggressive negative keyword work (this vertical bleeds budget on job seekers, students, and carrier lookups)
Ad copy and extensions written for our ICPs, not generic "best 3PL" filler
Conversion tracking setup and QA GA4, Google Ads conversions, form + call tracking, offline conversion import from booked calls if possible
Landing page feedback (we can ship changes fast, so tell us what's costing us conversions)
Weekly reporting on spend, CPL, lead quality, and what you're changing next
Requirements (please don't apply without these)
Proven Google Ads results for a 3PL, fulfillment, warehousing, freight forwarding, or logistics client this is non-negotiable
Comfortable with B2B lead gen where success = booked call, not form fill volume
You own tracking. If the pixel and conversion setup are broken, you fix them or tell us exactly what to fix
Direct communication, no account manager middle layer
Nice to have
Experience with cross-border / China freight demand
LinkedIn or Bing paid experience as a secondary channel
Budget & terms
$1,500 + ad spend, managed monthly. Open to a paid test project first (30 days, defined budget) before a longer engagement.
To apply, answer these I'm ignoring copy-paste proposals:
Which 3PL or logistics client did you run Google Ads for? Rough monthly spend and CPL.
What was their lead-to-close rate, or how did you know the leads were any good?
Name three keyword themes you'd bid on for a US 3PL, and three negatives you'd add day one.
What's the single most common tracking mistake you see in accounts like this?

Catalyst Precision Health is a premium precision-medicine practice. Our members invest significantly in their health, and everything we do is high-touch and personalized. We're a small, fast-moving team, and the founder needs a right hand.
This is a full-time Chief of Staff role. You will be the utility player who keeps everything moving: you'll own follow-through across the business so nothing falls through the cracks.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
- Partnerships: research potential partners (gyms, physical therapists, wellness brands, finance and executive communities), run outreach, and manage conversations through to a yes
- Marketing accountability: we have people producing content and campaigns. You'll turn strategy into a weekly plan, track it, and hold the team accountable to deadlines and results
- PR: find podcast, press, and speaking opportunities for our founder and physician, pitch them, and manage follow-ups
- Business operations: pricing projects, vendor research, SOPs, reporting, and whatever random operational fire needs solving that week
- Weekly reporting: a crisp update to the founder on what moved, what's stuck, and what you need
YOU'RE A FIT IF
- 4+ years in operations, project management, chief of staff, or founder-support roles
- You chase things down without being reminded. Follow-up is your default setting
- Excellent written and spoken English (you'll be on video and phone with US partners)
- You think in systems: trackers, cadences, SOPs, not one-off heroics
- Comfortable holding other people accountable, including people more senior than you
- Available full-time (40 hrs/week) on US Eastern hours. Latin America strongly preferred
- Bonus: interest in health, longevity, or wellness
DETAILS
- Full-time, long-term. We want someone who grows with the company
- Compensation: $1,700 to $2,000 USD/month flat, based on experience
- 30-day paid trial period to start
- You'll work directly with the founder daily
TO APPLY
Answer these in your cover letter. Applications without direct answers will be skipped. Please do not send a generic cover letter.
1. Describe a time you were responsible for holding a team or person accountable to a plan. What was your system and what happened when they slipped?
2. Confirm you can work full-time on US Eastern hours and that the $1,700 to $2,000/month range works for you.
3. In 3 sentences or fewer: what would your first 30 days look like in this role?
4. Include the word "catalyst" as the first word of your cover letter so we know you read this far.
We're a menswear brand built for bigger guys — think the True Classic / Breeze category. We make clothes that actually fit and flatter, and our ads need to hit that same nerve: confidence, fit, real bodies.
What you'll do:
Own creative strategy end-to-end: research, ideation, briefs, hooks, iteration, and scaling winners across Meta/TikTok for a fast-growing DTC apparel brand.
Huge plus:
You've worked with brands in men's essentials / apparel for bigger body types (True Classic, Breeze, or similar) — or in shapewear (Shapermint, Spanx, etc.). If you understand how to sell fit, comfort, and confidence to people who've been ignored by mainstream sizing, you're exactly who we're looking for.
Hard requirements to apply (no exceptions):
Show your proof. Submit the ad you've run with the highest spend — minimum $10,000 spent on a single ad. Include a screenshot of the spend/metrics and a short breakdown of how you ideated it: the insight, the angle, why it worked.
List the brands you've worked with. Past DTC brands only — name them. Apparel/shapewear brands front and center.
Record a Loom. Walk us through requirement #1 on camera — show the ad, the numbers, and talk us through how you ideated it, why it worked, and what you'd do differently. 3–5 minutes max. We want to see how you think and communicate, not a scripted pitch.
Applications missing any of the three above will be automatically rejected. No portfolio links, no "happy to hop on a call" no agencies. — the proof IS the application.
I'm looking for a prospect researcher to help me identify "quiet" major donor candidates, individuals (not celebrities or ultra-high-profile figures) who have a documented history of giving to libraries, literacy programs, literature/humanities causes, or similar education-access nonprofits, and who are realistically reachable by direct email.
Your role will involve researching and confirming contact details for potential donors who support literacy and books. This part-time position requires strong skills in donor research and data entry, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. If you have experience in the non-profit sector and are passionate about literacy, would love to hear from you.
Some Background & More Details:
I run Another World Audiobooks, a free podcast producing professionally narrated classic literature (think Project Gutenberg or LibriVox, but audio-first, distributed on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and everywhere else podcasts live). We've built real reach, 236,000+ plays and downloads, listeners in 40+ countries, a 5.0-star average rating, and I'm building a fundraising program to make the project sustainable long-term through individual patron support.
What I need:
A spreadsheet of 150-200 individual prospects, each with:
Full name
Source where found (specific donor recognition page, 990 filing, foundation donor list, etc. - include the URL)
Evidence of aligned giving (what they gave to, and ideally the approximate gift level if publicly listed)
A verified, working email address, business/professional email preferred over personal when both exist. Please do not include phone numbers, home addresses, or any non-public personal information, this should be limited to information a business or professional would reasonably use for outreach.
Any additional context useful for personalizing outreach (employer, professional title, other giving history)
Where to look (starting points, not exhaustive):
Public library and university library foundation donor recognition pages (individual donor walls, not corporate/foundation entries)
ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer / IRS Form 990 filings for family foundations focused on literacy, libraries, or education
Community foundation "donor spotlight" pages
Candid/Foundation Directory profiles connected to individual named founders
Important constraints:
Please skip names that are too common/ambiguous to verify confidently (e.g., a name with no employer, title, or other identifying detail attached). I'd rather have 150 confidently-verified names than 300 unreliable guesses.
Please avoid public figures/celebrities and anyone whose contact would only be reachable through an agent or publicist, I'm specifically after individuals I can reach directly.
Only use publicly available contact information. No data broker services requiring me to agree to terms I haven't reviewed.
Ideal experience:
Background in nonprofit prospect research, development/fundraising research, or similar (freelance prospect researchers with previous nonprofit clients strongly preferred)
Comfortable working from Form 990 filings and public donor recognition pages
Strong verification habits, I'd rather you flag "uncertain" than guess
Deliverable format: Spreadsheet (Google Sheet or Excel), one row per prospect, columns as outlined above.
Timeline: As soon as possible!
Please include in your application: relevant past experience with similar prospect research work, and if possible, a brief description of your general approach/sources for this type of project.
And also, please start your reply with "Another World" so I know you read the posting! Thanks!

The problem
We're building a model that detects human emotion from the voice using the spectral and harmonic mathematics of the sound itself — the physics of the voice — rather than a model trained to imitate external emotion labels. We have an early working version and the mathematical formulation behind it.
The problem: right now it's an experimental model. We don't yet know how much real signal is in it, we have no rigorous way to prove it works, and we have no defined process for improving it over time. We need a partner who can take it from "promising experiment" to "something we trust" — and leave our team with a concrete, repeatable way to train and improve it going forward.
What we need you to do
First, tell us honestly whether the approach holds up: does the harmonic and spectral structure of the voice carry genuinely emotionally-discriminative information.
We want your real read, including if it's negative.
If there's signal, solve the two problems that actually matter:
Validation — design and build a rigorous way to establish how well it works and prove it, to a high level of confidence. The hard part: unlike keyword recognition or a physical measurement, emotion has no clean ground truth to check against. Designing validation around that is central to this role.
Improvement loop — give our team a defined, repeatable process for training and improving the model over time, so it keeps getting better after you've handed it over.
And if the honest answer is that the direction is in the wrong direction — we will collaborate on a physics based approach that will.
A concrete alternative we can then develop and build is just as valuable to us as a green light.
We have 75,000–100,000 labelled emotion audio clips to work with (roughly 3–25 seconds each).
Who this is for
Niche skill set. Strong fit if you have genuine depth in most of:
Audio digital signal processing — FFT/spectral analysis, harmonics, formants, prosodic features
Extracting hidden state from an acoustic signal (acoustic sensing, spectrogram-based recognition, biosignal or acoustic monitoring)
Designing validation methodology where clean ground truth is challenging
Enough ML fluency to work with model code and run experiments
Background in physics, signal processing, speech/audio research, or acoustic sensing is ideal. General ML engineers without specific audio/spectral depth aren't the right fit here.
Deliverable
A short written report (substance over length): your assessment of whether there's real signal, and either a concrete proposal for how you'd build the validation and improvement process, or — if the approach won't work — a proposed alternative direction we can build on.
Terms
Short, focused engagement to begin — fixed-price, propose your rate for work of this scope
Engagement is under an NDA with IP assignment.
If the assessment is positive, there's scope to stay on as an ongoing advisor to build it out properly
To apply
Tell us briefly: your audio/signal-processing background and one hands-on example of spectral or acoustic work you've done.
