This after he claimed he would build and perfect the website himself at the start of the project. Never once did he say a "QA Expert" would be needed to look over and fix anything. He did an OK job building the website overall, but when I pointed out problems, he would accept no responsibility, instead turning it around on me and attacking my "professionalism", and at the same time basically calling his client ignorant and uninformed for expecting the site I paid him a large sum of money to be build to function to a high standard and be free of inaccuracies. This guy is not only a mediocre developer at best, but will attack you and call you ignorant and unprofessional if you have any problems with his work.

Whenever I requested clarification, his only response was that it was “my responsibility,” showing no willingness to collaborate. Despite multiple reminders, his payments were often delayed, and he even admitted his card had insufficient funds at times. When I professionally raised this concern, he made inappropriate and threatening remarks such as implying physical harm (“break my kneecaps”) and later called me an “asshole.” This level of language and behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Additionally, he expected me as a developer to perform QA and testing tasks without extending the timeline or scope, which is unreasonable. I maintained professionalism throughout, but his conduct, tone, and constant lack of respect made this project toxic and unproductive. I would strongly advise future freelancers to approach this client with caution, clearly define boundaries, and document all communications before agreeing to any work or payments.

We’ve built a great creative agency with a strong team and real proof. We have clients, case studies, a website, demo reels, and a ton of ongoing work in a niche profitable industry. We are launching a blog to document a research project my high school daughter is undertakng with a national non-profit. The blog will have updates 2 or 3 times a month over the next 12 months. It will document her research into the training problems faced by visually impaired runners and her attempt to develo a solution using biomimetic principles. She will also turn her lessons into a curriculum to be taught by the non -profit to middle schools.
