My production team and I are producing short, animated comedy videos and we’re looking for background artists! We’re currently interviewing background artists to help design and prepare backgrounds specifically for animation so experience in making backgrounds for animation is preferred.  Attached are a couple examples of our backgrounds, we do a lot of vertical and some horizontal bgs. These backgrounds will be used in animated shorts, so they must be animation-ready, layered correctly, and easy for animators to work with. We work in photoshop and Toonboom, the exports would at least have to be exported in one of these.
