I’m looking for a creative Short-Form Content Creator & Social Media Manager to work with me long-term on an animated YouTube series called The Time Joseph Banda (TTJB).
TTJB is a comedic, story-driven animated web series centred around a recurring cast of characters led by Joseph Banda, a 25 year old British man retelling his life from the moment when his two older siblings move to the UK from Zimbabwe to live with him. The main long-form episodes will be published on YouTube, but I want to build a much larger social media presence around the show across platforms such as: • TikTok • YouTube Shorts • YouTube Community Posts The main aim of this role is simple: Take every piece of TTJB content and maximise how many engaging pieces of social media content can be created from it. I am not simply looking for a video clipper. I need someone who can watch a full TTJB episode, understand the characters, humour and story, identify the strongest moments, and then think creatively about how that content can be repurposed into many different types of social media content. What You Would Be Doing Short-Form Video Content A major part of the role will involve turning TTJB episodes into short-form content for: TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts Rather than me having to tell you exactly which sections to clip, I want someone who can watch each episode and independently identify the moments that have the strongest short-form potential. This could include funny moments, storytime clips, character moments, out-of-context clips, relatable moments, character compilations, episode teasers etc.. You should understand how to create strong hooks, pacing, subtitles/captions and edits that keep people watching. The goal is not simply to crop a YouTube video vertically. The short-form content should feel like it was made specifically for TikTok, Reels or Shorts. Finding Multiple Pieces of Content Inside Every Episode One of the most important parts of this role is having a strong instinct for content repurposing. You should be able to identify these opportunities yourself rather than waiting for detailed instructions for every individual post. This role is not limited to short-form video. You will also help turn TTJB episodes, characters, storylines and moments into a wide range of social media content that keeps the world of the show active between uploads. This could include episode recap carousels, character introductions and profile cards, quote graphics, memes, reaction images, captioned screenshots, character rankings and tier lists, “things you missed” posts, character facts and lore, timelines, relationship or family diagrams, debate posts such as “Who was in the wrong?” or “Whose side are you on?”, poll graphics, episode previews and recaps, character comparison posts, and formats such as “5 things you need to know about this character” or “the worst things this character has done.” The goal is to find creative ways to turn the existing TTJB universe into engaging, shareable content rather than relying only on clips from episodes. You will have access to character artwork and visual assets created for TTJB which can be reused to create this content. You do not need to be the main illustrator for the series, however, you should be comfortable working with existing PNGs, artwork, screenshots, graphics and visual assets to create social posts. Experience with Photoshop, Canva or similar software would therefore be useful. You should be able to look at TTJB as an entire fictional world rather than simply a collection of YouTube videos. There will be lots of opportunities to create social content around the characters, relationships, jokes and storylines even when there is not a new episode being released. Social Media Management You will also help manage the overall social media presence of TTJB. I want TTJB to have a consistent presence rather than only posting whenever a new long-form episode is released. Responsibilities may include Creating and maintaining a content calendar, Scheduling posts, Uploading content, Writing captions, Posting Instagram Stories, Keeping track of upcoming episodes, Making sure content is consistently published, Planning content around episode releases. You should also pay attention to how content performs. Tracking the Views, Retention, Likes, Comments, Follower growth, Watch time etc.. You should use this information to help decide what kind of content we should create more of. The important thing is being able to look at an episode and extract as much genuinely engaging content from it as possible without creating low-quality filler. Content Should Feel Native to Each Platform - I do not want exactly the same piece of content blindly uploaded everywhere. Where appropriate, content should be adapted to suit each platform and the way its audience consumes content. This could mean using strong hooks, fast pacing, native captions and trends on TikTok; Reels, carousels, memes, Stories and visual character content on Instagram; entertaining standalone clips and strong titles on YouTube Shorts; and polls, questions, character debates, images and episode promotion on YouTube Community. A strong understanding of how audiences behave differently across each platform, and how to tailor content accordingly, would be a major advantage. Over time, you will have access to a growing TTJB content library containing finished episodes, character illustrations, expressions and poses, background artwork, thumbnails, screenshots, audio, scripts, previous Shorts, memes and other promotional material. These assets should be used creatively to produce new social content and continuously repurpose the show across different platforms. I want someone who becomes familiar enough with the show that they can regularly go back through this library and find new ways of using existing content. An old TTJB episode should not become useless just because it was published several months ago. There may be opportunities to bring older moments back when they become relevant again. The Type Of Person I am Looking For: I’m looking for someone who understands short-form video editing and the differences between TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You should have a strong instinct for identifying viral and clippable moments, understand storytelling and comedy, know how to create strong hooks and engaging captions, and be comfortable producing carousels, static posts, memes and other forms of social content. You should also be able to repurpose content creatively, generate your own ideas, work independently, understand basic social media analytics, organise and schedule content, communicate well and consistently meet deadlines. Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who is interested in growing with TTJB and taking on a long-term role. You should be someone who can watch a 10–20 minute episode and immediately begin identifying what could be reused as other content, what would make good shorts, carousels etc… I am looking for someone who can become the main social media content producer for TTJB long-term. Ideally, over time you will become very familiar with the characters, their personalities, style of humour of the show etc… Eventually, I want you to be able to receive a finished episode and take significant ownership over how that episode is redistributed across social media. The Pay for this Job will start at £400 per month but will increase over time, especially as I am looking for someone who can commit to this job long term. When Applying Please send: 1. Examples of Shorts/Reels/TikToks you have personally edited 2. Examples of long-form content you have successfully repurposed into short-form content 3. Examples of Instagram carousels, memes or other social media graphics you have created 4. Any social media accounts you have previously helped manage 5. Any examples of content where you personally decided what clips/posts should be created rather than simply following instructions 6. What editing/design software you use 7. Your normal turnaround time 8. Which platforms you have the most experience with 9. Briefly explain how you would approach turning one 10–20 minute YouTube episode into a week or more of social media content 10. Please start your application with the word “TTJB” so I know you have read the full job post. I’m particularly interested in people who can demonstrate creative content repurposing, not just technically good video editing. If your portfolio mainly contains podcast clips with subtitles, that is fine, but I would also like to see evidence that you can think creatively about social media content and storytelling. This has the potential to become a long-term position as The Time Joseph Banda and its social media presence grow.

|
I’m looking for a talented 2D character illustrator and YouTube thumbnail designer to work with me long-term on an animated YouTube series called The Time Joseph Banda (TTJB).
TTJB is a comedic, story-driven animated web series centred around a recurring cast of characters led by Joseph Banda, a 25 year old British man retelling his life from the moment when his two older siblings move to the UK from Zimbabwe to live with him. I’m looking for someone who can become the main illustrator/visual artist for the series, helping establish a consistent visual identity and gradually build a large reusable library of artwork that can be used throughout future episodes. The ideal person will be able to: • Design original cartoon characters from written descriptions and references • Keep those characters visually consistent across different drawings • Create facial expressions, poses and outfits • Illustrate minor props, locations and other episode-specific assets • Create strong, clickable YouTube thumbnails • Help gradually build the overall visual world of TTJB This is not traditional frame-by-frame animation. The artwork will primarily consist of reusable illustrated assets that will later be arranged, manipulated, animated and edited by my video editor using software such as Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro. You would be responsible for creating the original artwork, not animating or editing the finished episodes. Experience creating assets that will later be used in Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro or Character Animator would be useful, although you do not need to be an animator. Photoshop experience is preferred but not required. What You Would Be Creating: Character Designs You will help design the recurring cast of TTJB based on detailed written character descriptions and references that I provide. This may include, main character design, background/minor characters, different outfits/ accessories etc… Because the story takes place across several years, some characters will need multiple age-specific versions while remaining clearly recognisable as the same person. Reusable Character Asset Library A major part of the role will be helping build a reusable TTJB character library. Rather than redrawing every character from scratch for every scene, we want to gradually build collections of reusable poses, expressions and outfits. Such as happy and angry expressions, poses like sitting, walking and outfits like regular outfits and school clothes etc. Not every character will need all of these immediately. The library will be built gradually as the series develops. Episode-Specific Artwork For each episode, I may send you the script and/or a list of visual assets required. You would then create any new artwork that does not already exist in our asset library. For example, a particular character reaction or a new pose, visual gag or scene-specific outfit. The goal is not to illustrate every single shot of every episode from scratch. Existing artwork will be reused wherever possible, while you create the new original assets that each episode genuinely requires. Over time, as the library becomes larger, more and more artwork will be reusable. Backgrounds, Locations & Props You may also occasionally be asked to create reusable locations and objects for the TTJB universe. Examples could include: The Banda family house, living room, school, church and props like phones, food, money etc.. Like the characters, these will ideally become part of a reusable library. YouTube Thumbnails You will also be responsible for creating approximately 2-3 finished YouTube thumbnails per month. These will normally use the characters and visual style of the series. The thumbnails need to be designed specifically for YouTube and attracting clicks. You may occasionally need to create exaggerated poses or expressions specifically for a thumbnail rather than simply reusing existing character assets. Character Style I’m looking for a clean adult cartoon / animated sitcom-style aesthetic rather than extremely detailed illustration. The artwork should be: • Expressive • Recognisable • Visually clean • Easy to reuse • Easy to edit • Suitable for animation/manipulation later • Consistent across multiple episodes The designs should allow facial expressions and poses to change without the character suddenly looking like a different person. Character consistency is extremely important. If you draw the same character five, ten or twenty times, they should still clearly look like the exact same character. File Requirements: • High-resolution transparent PNG files • Layered PSD/source files • Organised and clearly named layers/files The general workflow for each episode will look something like this: 1. I write and record the episode 2. I send you the script and/or required asset list 3. We identify which existing TTJB assets can already be reused 4. You create any new character poses, expressions, props, locations or illustrations required 5. You deliver the organised artwork/source files 6. My video editor uses those assets to construct, animate and edit the finished episode This means your artwork will gradually contribute to an expanding TTJB visual asset library that can be reused across future videos. I’m looking for someone who can potentially become the main illustrator and visual artist for the series long-term. Initially, there will naturally be more character-design work because we need to establish the main cast and visual world. The exact type of work may vary depending on which episodes are being produced. As the character and asset library grows, the amount of completely new character artwork required should gradually change, with more existing artwork being reused. Budget Approximately £400 per month however this will increase after the first few months. I am looking for someone who: • Can maintain extremely strong character consistency • Is comfortable working from written descriptions and visual references • Has experience drawing expressive cartoon characters • Has experience making YouTube Thumbnails • Communicates well • Can take feedback and make revisions • Can meet deadlines consistently • Is interested in an ongoing working relationship rather than a one-off commission • Is interested in helping develop the visual identity of a series over time When applying please send: 1. Examples of your cartoon/character design work 2. Examples showing the same character in multiple expressions or poses 3. Examples of YouTube thumbnails you have personally designed 4. Any examples of backgrounds, props or illustrated assets you have created 5. Your normal turnaround time 6. Whether you can provide layered PSD/source files 7. What software you normally illustrate/design in 8. Whether you are comfortable with approximately £400 per month for the regular workload described above 9. Please start your application with the word “TTJB” so I know you have read the full post I’m particularly interested in portfolios that demonstrate character consistency — for example, showing the same character across different facial expressions, poses, outfits and scenarios while still looking unmistakably like the same person. This will hopefully become a long-term ongoing role and, if the series grows, I would like the successful artist to become an important part of establishing and maintaining the visual identity of The Time Joseph Banda.

I want a book cover design for a romance novella themed on Indian mythology (Yakshas, Apsaras, Asuras). I want a rich cover design for the book – front cover, back cover and spine. Details below:
Genre: Clean/sweet fantasy romance (romantasy), no explicit content — think warmth and yearning, not smolder. Premise: A disguised Yaksha prince infiltrates his ex-fiancée's (a human princess) household as a maid to investigate her, and ends up falling in love with her all over again — twice. Tone: Playful, warm, emotionally earnest, with real stakes (a rebellion against a tyrannical queen) underneath the romance and banter. Visual Elements to Potentially Draw From: A crown prince who shapeshifts (owls, sparrows, cats) — the owl in particular is a recurring, meaningful motif A moon motif (the heroine is literally named "Chandra," meaning moon; it's tied to the hero's protective devotion) A divine mortar and pestle; the heroine is a skilled herbalist and medical expert, and her knowledge is key in defeating the villain Parijat (night-flowering jasmine) blossoms A crimson wedding sari with owl-motif embroidery Warm jewel tones — saffron, gold, deep red — contrasted against a menacing mauve/purple (the villain queen's signature color) A forest temple setting I will share the cover that I currently have. Looking for something better than that.

AI Video Editor - Historical City Timelapse Channel (History Niche

Hey there!
We run a growing YouTube channel producing cinematic, AI-generated history documentaries — timelapse-style reconstructions of famous cities across the centuries, plus single-event episodes (battles, disasters, turning points). We are looking for a talented, reliable, and experienced AI video creator & editor to join our small team on a long-term basis. What you'll do Generate photorealistic, historically plausible scenes yourself with AI (image generation + video generation) — this is a core part of the job, not optional Mix three types of material into one living, accurate, engaging documentary: your AI-generated scenes, B-roll (within our fair-use rules, max. 5 seconds per clip), and Ken Burns moves on stills Cut everything to our German voiceover: documentary pacing, music, year overlays, transitions Deliver one 10–20-minute video per week (alternating with a second editor) Important: This role requires BOTH skills. If you only edit but cannot generate AI scenes yourself — or only generate clips but have never cut a full-length video — please do not apply. Photorealism is the standard. Our scenes must look like real footage, not like illustration, painting, or "3D render" style. We work with models capable of that level — e.g. Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance or Runway for video, and Nano Banana Pro, FLUX.2, Midjourney or GPT Image for stills. Tell us which you use. Every video comes with a detailed script that specifies exactly which scenes are AI-generated and which are built from B-roll or stills. You work to that script. You receive a complete brief in English: script, timing, and detailed visual reference sheets for every era. The voiceover is in German — you don't need to speak German. Quality reference — this is the level we're aiming for: https://www.youtube.com/@timewarpcities https://www.youtube.com/@TimelapseStudioChannel https://www.youtube.com/@ArthurRevivesthePast Process Short paid test task (one 10–20-second scene) Paid editing/assembly test Regular weekly work Please do not apply if you have no experience with AI-generated video. Applications with links to complete videos (not showreels) will be prioritised. Looking forward to working with you! Skills: Video Editing · AI Video Generation · AI Image Generation · Generative AI · YouTube Video · Adobe Premiere Pro · DaVinci Resolve · Adobe After Effects · Motion Graphics · Video Post-Editing · Midjourney · Runway · Video Animation · Sound Design · Documentary Video Screening Questions Please share links to 2–3 complete videos (not showreels) where you BOTH generated AI scenes yourself AND edited the full video — including mixing AI material with B-roll or stills. Which tools do you use for image generation, video generation, and editing — and which of them do you use to achieve photorealistic results? How long have you been producing AI-generated YouTube videos? What is your rate for a complete 15-minute video (scene generation + editing)? Are you available for one video per week on an ongoing basis?

I already have all 26 finished reference images. Each image shows a familiar object in the shape of a letter—for example, an apple in the shape of an A. You do not need to design the images or come up with the concepts. Your job is to recreate my existing images as clean, hand-drawn coloring-book illustrations. The original object and letter shape should be preserved closely. However, I would like you to use your judgment to simplify details and slightly adjust the composition where necessary so that each image works well as a coloring page for young children. The finished drawings should have: - Clean, confident black outlines - A consistent style and line thickness across all 26 images - Large, easy-to-color areas appropriate for ages 3–5 - Enough detail to clearly recognize the object, but no unnecessary small details - No shading, grayscale, hatching or photographic texture - A clean white background I want the line art to be genuinely drawn by the illustrator. Please do not use generative AI, automatic tracing, photo filters, or automatic photo-to-line-art tools. The reason I am hiring an illustrator is that I want a human to make thoughtful decisions about how the original images should be simplified for a children's coloring book. To apply Please include links to relevant examples of your previous work, particularly children's coloring pages or similar black-and-white line illustrations for young children.

I’m looking for someone who is comfortable using and is familiar with Live2D Cubism (Important: must be able to use Live2D Cubism Editor version 4.2.03_2), Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to help adjust existing emote artwork and animations for different animal and color variations to create their Christmas version.
I'm not looking for artwork or animation creation. The artwork, animations, Christmas elements, and completed references already exist. The work mainly involves: - Moving certain elements from Illustrator to Photoshop - Importing or replacing PSD elements in Live2D - Copying existing animated elements between Live2D files - Making small adjustments if needed so everything fits the new emote correctly - Exporting each finished emote as a 500×500 GIF Animation - Keeping the provided folder structure and filenames organized Each emote requires different adjustments. I will provide 2 workflow videos that demonstrate the whole process, but they don't cover every emote individually. You will need to compare each existing emote with the supplied finished Christmas reference and determine which elements need to be copied, imported, repositioned, or adjusted. You should be comfortable working independently and using your visual judgment to match the references accurately. I will also provide the source files and completed references. We will begin with a paid test of five emotes. If the test goes well, there will be additional work for multiple emotes. I’m looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and work consistently over the next few weeks. Ideally, I’m looking for someone interested in a long-term freelance collaboration. If everything goes well, I’d like to continue hiring the same person for similar emote projects in the future. Attention to detail, careful file naming/organization, and the ability to follow the provided references are important. All supplied artwork and project files must remain private and cannot be shared or reused. Client's questions:

I’m looking for a freelance illustrator for a single book cover image. The project requires photorealistic realism, accurate human anatomy, and a conceptual blend of Victorian-era aesthetics with a modern humanoid AI figure.
The final image will depict a Victorian human shaking hands with a humanoid AI, standing together on a pedestal, with lighting and composition suitable for a book cover layout. I’m seeking an illustrator who can work from a detailed brief, deliver layered files (PSD or TIFF), and collaborate on refining the concept. If this aligns with your skill set, I’d love to see a few relevant portfolio samples and discuss availability and rates. Thank you — looking forward to hearing from you. Portfolio Evaluation Checklist Photorealism & Anatomy • Human faces look real, not stylized • Hands, posture, and proportions are believable • Lighting behaves naturally on skin and fabric Conceptual Flexibility • Artist can blend realism with conceptual or symbolic elements • Non-human characters still feel grounded and believable • No reliance on genre tropes (fantasy armor, neon sci-fi, anime faces) Style Compatibility • Clean, modern realism • Ability to incorporate Victorian or historical aesthetics • Ability to create humanoid AI without drifting into robot mascots Technical Competence • High-resolution work suitable for print • Layered files (PSD/TIFF) visible in portfolio or stated in profile • Evidence of multi-figure compositions Red Flags • Heavy fantasy or sci-fi concept art • Anime/manga influence • Cartoon or comic styles • Overly stylized “signature look” applied to every piece • Portfolios consisting only of typography-based cov Client's questions:

Childrens Book Series Illustrator

I'm developing a children's picture-book series for ages 3–7 based on my two daughters. Before committing to the full book, I'd like to commission a paid character-development test.
The two recurring main characters are Alanna, age 3, and Brielle, age 5. I have reference photographs of both girls and would like their illustrated characters to remain recognizably inspired by their actual facial features, hair and personalities while still having a warm, whimsical picture-book look. I'm looking for something whimsical, playful and expressive, but with more dimensional lighting and painterly storybook quality rather than a flat cartoon/vector look. Could you quote me for developing both characters and creating one finished illustration of the two sisters together? This is intended to become an ongoing book series, so character consistency is extremely important. If the test is successful, I'd also like a quote for illustrating and preparing a complete 32-page picture book.

I’m looking for an illustrator to help bring my first children’s picture book to life. The story is geared toward young children (approximately ages 2–6) and follows a group of sweet woodland animal characters, including Maisie the fox, Tilly the turtle, a bunny, an owl, and other friends.
The manuscript and overall concept are already developed, and I also have visual mockups of the book that can be used as references for the characters, scenes, page layouts, and overall direction. These are meant to communicate my vision rather than be copied exactly, and I’m excited to work with an illustrator who can bring their own artistic touch and personality to the finished book. For the illustration style, I’m looking for something soft, warm, whimsical, and storybook-like, with a timeless children’s-book feel. I love expressive characters, cozy woodland environments, gentle textures, and softer details rather than a highly polished or 3D-rendered appearance. I’m completely open to digital illustration as long as the finished artwork has that soft, organic, illustrated quality. I’m looking for someone who is collaborative, communicative, and comfortable working from an established vision while also contributing their own creative ideas. Character consistency throughout the book is especially important to me, as I would love for these characters to feel distinctive and recognizable. My goal is to self-publish the finished book, so I’m looking for completed, print-ready illustrations and would like to discuss commercial usage rights as part of the project agreement. This is a very special first project for me, and I’d love to find an illustrator I genuinely enjoy working with and could potentially collaborate with again on future children’s books. I’ve attached a few sample mockups to show the characters, overall visual direction, and types of scenes in the book. A complete book mockup is available to share with candidates I’m considering.
