We are looking for a highly reliable and detail-oriented WordPress developer to complete a website that is already approximately 85–90% finished. The site is built on WordPress using the Impreza theme. Unfortunately, our current developer has been extremely unreliable, and the project has experienced too many delays. We need a developer who can prioritize this project, move efficiently, and bring the website across the finish line. A good experience for us will lead to more projects in the future for the new developer, and they will become our go-to web developer. The primary goal is to complete the remaining development work and ensure the website closely matches the design mockups that have already been created. Instead of using the references strictly as inspiration he copied the references verbatim. From this point forward I had to double check all of his work to ensure it wasn't stolen from someone else. I should've moved on from him then but I didn't have time to go through another lengthy interview process to find a replacement, so I gave him another chance. After having numerous talks he improved. We initially also agreed for him to monitor our analytics and have monthly discussions on where to improve and tailor our content to this. Did this ever happen? No. Not even once. The biggest issue were the delays. We had a monthly agreement for content. The first month was the only month that was on time. Today is September 30 and we are still working on finalizing content for AUGUST. I gave him numerous chances but eventually got tired of the babysitting and the delays. We briefly tried to restructure the agreement to something that would fit his availability better but it didn't make much sense. He left me with no content for 2 months, 3 months if you count October which would've been due by now. It's unacceptable. For this reason, I have decided to cancel the contract.
