We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to recreate an existing live website as a custom WordPress theme and integrate it into an already running WordPress installation. The target WordPress site already contains content that must be preserved.
The final result must be visually identical to the original site, fully responsive, and optimized for SEO and performance.
Scope of Work
1. Initial Analysis
-Review the source website and map all pages, templates, and components.
-Review the existing WordPress installation and its current structure.
-Identify plugins that must be preserved.
-Propose any additional plugins if needed (subject to approval).
2. Theme Development
-Develop a custom WordPress theme that replicates the source website.
-Ensure pixel-perfect visual rendering across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
-Implement reusable templates and components.
-Follow WordPress best practices and coding standards.
3.Content Integration
-Import or recreate all pages from the source site into WordPress.
-Preserve and integrate all existing content already present in the target WordPress site.
-Ensure consistent formatting, layout, and media placement.
4.Plugin Handling
-Maintain specific existing plugins (list will be provided).
-Configure them properly within the new theme.
-Suggest alternative or additional plugins only if necessary, with clear justification.
5.SEO & Performance
-Maintain or improve current SEO structure.
-Ensure: Proper heading hierarchy, Clean URLs, Metadata compatibility, Schema or structured data
6. Optimize page speed and mobile performance.
-Testing & Quality Assurance
-Cross-browser testing.
-Responsive testing on major devices.
-Check for broken links, layout inconsistencies, and functional issues.
6. Deployment
-Prepare the site for production.
-Develop locally and provide code+database that we'll migrate online
-Post-Launch Support
-Please include a quote for 10 additional hours of work to be used after launch for adjustments, refinements, or small improvements.

The codebase was written needlessly complex but luckily I did not have to touch it too deeply. The two main issues were that many pieces of code were simply copy/pasted at many places instead of being extracted as reusable Vue components and that there was absolutely no code linting.
The team that inherited that codebase from the original developer shared with me that all this complexity significantly slows down the development of new features and fixing old bugs.
The client himself was easily approachable, quite a friendly person. He knew the implications of the situation and kindly supported me with guidance and did not demand too complex UI polishing. He was also qualified enough to discuss all the technical details.

We have paid this freelancer to work on the on-page SEO of our 2 websites and given a clear list of tasks which they have claimed to have completed after a three month delay. However, after hiring a new SEO expert, we found out that barely minimum work was done and no SEO was done on the website such as meta description or keywords or SEO title for pages to show on google. When we confronted him, he became aggressive and called us a fraud and started asking for more payment. Our new SEO expert finished the work in 2 days and completed all the tasks that he was hired to do in just 2 days, this is when we realized this freelancer has scammed us. His communication is very poor and slow, he will make excuses about religious holidays to buy more time.

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer / UI Designer to modernize the interface of SEOLyze, a specialized SaaS tool for SEO content optimization. The current system is robust (PHP/Smarty-based) but needs a fresh, high-end, "state-of-the-art" look.
The Goal: Transform the existing dashboard into a "Modern / State oft he Art" aesthetic.
2. Scope of Work
• Audit: Review the current dashboard (Screenshots/Access will be provided).
• Design & Implementation: Deliver clean, responsive, and well-documented HTML5 and Tailwind CSS code.
• Smarty Integration Ready: The code must be structured so that it can be easily integrated into our existing Smarty (PHP) template engine. (You don't need to do the full PHP integration, but the HTML must be clean and modular).
3. Technical Requirements
• Framework: Tailwind CSS (Strictly no Bootstrap).
• Code Quality: Clean, semantic HTML. No "div-soups."
• Responsive: Must work flawlessly on Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile.
• Assets: Use of modern icon sets (e.g., Lucide, Phosphor) and optimized typography.
4. What we DON'T want (Red Flags)
• No No-Code Tools: We do not accept Webflow, Framer, or Elementor exports. We need raw code.
• No Heavy Frameworks: Do not use React/Vue/Angular unless we explicitly discuss it. We want to keep the frontend light for our existing PHP environment.
• No Generic Templates: We are looking for a custom, premium feel, not a $10 ThemeForest template.
