FRDM Engineering is a custom-build consultancy that embeds with operators in pipelines, refining, and heavy industry. We work the way Forward Deployed Engineers do at the best software companies: a small team sits with the client, learns the operation cold, and builds what the off-the-shelf vendor can't. We're growing the pipeline practice and we need a senior controls engineer who has actually commissioned advanced process control on a moving-liquids system.

The role
You'll be the technical lead on APC engagements with pipeline operators. That means scoping the opportunity with the client's controls and operations leads, building the model, writing the controller, sitting in the control room during cutover, and tuning until dispatch trusts it. You'll work alongside FRDM's data and software engineers, who handle historian integration and operator-facing tooling, so you can stay focused on the control problem.

Expect a mix of:
→ Two or three active client engagements at any time, with on-site weeks roughly monthly per project
→ Step testing, model identification, and MPC controller design on liquids pipelines (batched products, crude, or NGLs), tank farms, and pump stations
→ Working directly with operators and dispatch on constraint handling, ramp behavior, and override logic


What we need you to bring
→ 10+ years in process control, with a meaningful portion on pipelines or terminals (gathering, midstream, products, or crude — any of them)

**3. Supplier PDF Parsing Agent.** Many of our manufacturers send quote responses as PDFs with varying formats. We need an n8n agent that parses these (Claude API for the AI lift, n8n for the orchestration), normalizes the data, and writes it back to our quoting system. Recurring use case across hundreds of supplier interactions per year.

**4. ERP Migration Bridge (QuickBooks Online → Odoo Enterprise).** During our ERP transition, we need n8n workflows that preserve the full QBO project financial lifecycle (Estimate → Project → Invoice → PO → Bill → Expense) by syncing data between systems. • This project is focused on SEO implementation and optimization for the Ink Eye Entertainment
website and The Cats & The Coons™ ecosystem.
• The SEO strategy, architecture, content structure, blogs, curriculum pages, and keyword direction
have already been completed.
• The purpose of this contract is implementation, optimization, indexing, technical cleanup, and
verification.
Milestone 1 – Internal Linking & Google Indexing ($50)
• Implement all internal links across blogs, character pages, curriculum pages, SEL pages, and core
website pages.
• Ensure all internal links function properly with no broken links.
• Request indexing for all pages/posts through Google Search Console.
• Verify sitemap functionality and indexing health.
• Verify all pages are mobile responsive.
• Complete accessibility review for image alt-text and SEO metadata.
• Test all live pages after updates.
Milestone 2 – Technical SEO & Optimization ($50)
• Optimize image compression and page speed using free tools only.
• Configure LiteSpeed Cache or Autoptimize if appropriate.
