I'm the owner of an RN-led home care company based in Alberta, Canada. I have already completed the branding, logo, website content, service pages, FAQs, blog articles, and overall website structure. I'm looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a professional, modern website using the content I've already prepared.
This is not a content writing project. The website copy is complete. I need someone who can transform the content into a high-quality WordPress website that is professional, easy to navigate, optimized for search engines, and designed to generate inquiries from families seeking home care services.
Project Scope
Build a custom WordPress website using my existing content and branding
Create a clean, warm, trustworthy design appropriate for a healthcare business
Ensure the website is fully responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile
Optimize page speed and performance
Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, image optimization, schema where appropriate)
Set up contact forms, click-to-call buttons, and Google Maps
Connect Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Make the website easy for me to update after launch
What I'm Looking For:
Proven experience building WordPress websites
Experience with healthcare, home care, medical, or other service-based businesses is a strong asset
Someone who understands user experience, local SEO, and conversion-focused design
Strong communication and attention to detail
Ability to recommend improvements that will help generate leads and improve Google rankings
Please Include in Your Proposal
Three WordPress websites you've personally built.
Your role in each project.
Have you built websites for healthcare or local service businesses?
Which theme and page builder do you recommend, and why?
Estimated timeline.
Fixed-price quote.
What ongoing support do you provide after the website is launched?
I'm looking for someone who can become a long-term partner as my business grows. Reliability, quality, and communication are more important to me than the lowest price.
Hi, I have a squarespace website for my new business www.happipacks.com.au that I need to update and finish.
I have a complete brief attached. I'm a web developer myself, but too busy to work on this one. Happy to collaborate or leave the project on you. Depends on the quote, because it is a start up, the budget is limited.
Please let me know.

You'll be joining an existing, live production web application — not a greenfield build. The stack is Next.js 14 (App Router), React 18, and TypeScript. Styling is a hand-rolled design-token system — no Tailwind, no component library (this is a deliberate constraint, not something open to debate). The product operates in a regulated, data-sensitive business domain, so accuracy and honesty in what the UI displays matters more than usual — nothing may look more certain or complete than it actually is.
What you'll be doing
Building and modifying screens inside an existing codebase, following an established architecture and a written set of UI rules you'll be given after you're hired.
Working strictly within existing patterns — no new npm packages, no framework upgrades, no swapping in your own preferred component library, without explicit sign-off first.
Every change goes through a gate before it's considered done: a clean TypeScript check, automated tests passing, and a written summary of what changed — reviewed before anything merges.
Requirements
Strong, recent experience with Next.js App Router and TypeScript — comfortable reasoning about Server vs. Client Components correctly.
Experience working inside someone else's strict technical constraints, not introducing your own tooling preferences.
Careful, low-ego written communication — most collaboration is async and review-based, not live pairing.
Basic accessibility competence (keyboard navigation, semantic HTML, focus management).
Nice-to-have
Experience with OpenAPI-generated TypeScript types.
Experience on a product with strict "don't show this" UI rules (e.g. no fabricated data, no overstated certainty).
Playwright test-writing experience.
How to apply — read carefully, this affects whether you're considered
Do not submit an AI-generated proposal. Proposals are screened for generic AI-written cover letters, and those are auto-deprioritized. Write your own words, and reference something specific from this post to prove you actually read it.
Show your work instead of just describing it. Include a link to a short (3–5 minute) video — a YouTube link (can be unlisted) or a Loom — where you walk through a real Next.js + TypeScript project you've built: show the code, explain one decision you made and why, and show it actually running. This matters more than your written proposal.
To prove you read this far: start your proposal with the word "App Router" as the first word. Proposals that skip this are not reviewed.
Screening questions (add these in Upwork's job post settings)
Describe a project where you had to work within someone else's strict architectural rules — no new dependencies, no framework upgrades, a hand-rolled design system — instead of using your own preferred tools. How did that go?
Walk through how you'd verify a TypeScript/Next.js change didn't break anything before handing it off for review — what's your actual checklist?
Paste the link to your video walkthrough here as well (see "How to apply").

Senior WordPress Developer, Conversion Strategist, and SEO Specialist for Water-Treatment Website
Project type
Short-term, project-based engagement with the possibility of ongoing website, SEO, and digital marketing work.
Company overview
Clear Solutions is a growing water-treatment company with two distinct service divisions:
1. Residential water treatment throughout Central Ohio
2. Commercial water treatment nationwide
Our residential division serves homeowners throughout Central Ohio with water softeners, iron and sulfur removal, reverse osmosis, whole-house filtration, drinking-water systems, well-water treatment, equipment service, water testing, rentals, and related water-treatment solutions.
Our commercial division serves businesses, institutions, property owners, contractors, developers, and multi-location operators throughout the United States. Our commercial capabilities include high-flow water softeners, progressive-flow systems, reverse osmosis, filtration, system restoration, preventative maintenance, remote monitoring, water-usage monitoring, equipment rentals, emergency service, and ongoing service agreements.
Our current website is:
https://clearsolutionswater.com
Project objective
We are looking for an experienced website professional or small team to audit, improve, and potentially partially redevelop our existing WordPress website.
The objective is not simply to make the website look better. We need the website to become a professional, measurable lead-generation platform that:
- Generates more qualified residential leads in Central Ohio
- Generates commercial water-treatment opportunities nationwide
- Clearly separates residential and commercial visitors
- Establishes Clear Solutions as a technically knowledgeable water-treatment company
- Improves local and national organic search visibility
- Increases telephone calls, quote requests, water-test requests, and commercial project inquiries
- Properly tracks where leads originate
- Makes it easy for our team to update content after the project is completed
We want someone who understands website strategy, conversion-rate optimization, SEO, copywriting, user experience, analytics, and WordPress development—not someone who only installs templates or changes colors.
Current website challenges
Our current website provides a basic overview of the company, but it does not fully communicate the depth of our services or capabilities.
Areas that may require improvement include:
- Weak separation between residential and commercial services
- Insufficient explanation of our nationwide commercial capabilities
- Limited number of individual service pages

- Basic lead forms that do not adequately qualify prospects
- Limited conversion tracking and marketing attribution
- Limited content targeting customer problems and buying questions
- Insufficient calls to action throughout the website
- Potential mobile usability, speed, technical SEO, and accessibility issues
The selected professional should independently audit the website and identify additional opportunities.

1. Website audit and strategy
Perform a detailed audit of the existing website, including:
- Website structure
- Navigation
- Homepage messaging
- Residential customer journey
- Commercial customer journey

- National commercial SEO
- Technical SEO
- Mobile usability
- Page speed
- Accessibility
- Website credibility
- Content quality
- Analytics and conversion tracking
- WordPress configuration
- Plugin usage
- Security and backups
The audit must clearly distinguish between:
- Verified problems
- Recommended improvements
- Items that require access to WordPress, hosting, analytics, or Google Search Console to verify
The audit should produce a prioritized implementation plan rather than a generic list of recommendations.
2. Website positioning and messaging
Develop a clear positioning strategy that communicates:
Residential Water Treatment in Central Ohio. Commercial Water Treatment Nationwide.
The website must immediately help visitors understand:
- Who Clear Solutions serves
- What services we provide
- Where we provide those services
- Why customers should choose us
- How to contact us
- What happens after they submit an inquiry
The selected professional should improve or rewrite key website copy as needed, including:
The language should be professional, clear, technically credible, and understandable to customers who may not have water-treatment experience.
3. Homepage redesign or improvement

- Reynoldsburg
- New Albany
- Johnstown
- Zanesville
- Lancaster

Location-page content may include:
- Local water-source information
- Common local water problems
- Well-water versus municipal-water concerns
- Local projects or case studies
- Customer reviews from the area
- Services available in that area
- Service response expectations
- Local photographs
- Frequently asked questions
- Links to relevant residential services
The selected professional should recommend which locations should be prioritized based on search opportunity and business value.
8. Nationwide commercial SEO
Develop a national SEO strategy for commercial services.
The strategy should prioritize:

We want to add meta title, meta description, and schema to 'users'.
Currently, most SEO plugins add meta title and descriptioon to post type such as posts and pages, but not to 'users'. We want to add these to users.
You will insert this to all users. The data will be taken from BuddyBoss profile fields.
For example, in BuddyBoss profile fields, we have 'company name' , 'city', and 'LinkedIn URL' for every user. You will generate meta title and schema according to the user data.
I am attaching an example.
In addition, you will let us know how to add meta and schema to a specific page.
Budget is $50. We will escrow $50 before project begins. We will release $50 when project is completed successfully.

I need a senior full-stack developer to help finish and launch Parlay Logic AI, an existing live sports betting risk-management platform built with React, TypeScript, Supabase, Stripe, and real-time sports data integrations. This is not a new website build. I need someone to audit the existing codebase, identify production issues, implement fixes, and prepare the platform for a successful public launch. The platform must support multiple sports and leagues through one canonical architecture. I’m looking for a developer who can improve the live data pipeline, market synchronization, opposite-market matching, hedge engine, alert engine, sportsbook deep linking, notification delivery, authentication, Stripe subscriptions, production monitoring, and overall system reliability. The goal is to eliminate sport-specific logic wherever possible and build reusable systems that work across current and future sports.

I need a front-end developer to maintain solveion.com on a monthly retainer. This is upkeep and small changes, not a rebuild.
Solveion is an independent AI consultancy: we train teams, advise companies on where AI actually fits, and build custom AI systems.
The stack:
- Astro, static build
- Deployed from git to a static host
- Around 9 pages plus a growing blog
What the work covers:
- Publish new blog posts I write, with the cover image and metadata set correctly
- Keep Astro and dependencies current, and confirm the build and the live site still work after each update
- Fix small things I send you: layout problems on mobile, a broken link, a new service page, a form that stopped submitting
- Keep Lighthouse performance and accessibility scores where they are or better
- Fix our social meta tags, which still contain placeholder Twitter handles
- Respond to anything broken on the live site within 24 hours
I expect 5 to 8 hours in a normal month.
What I need from you:
- You have shipped and maintained Astro sites, and you can link to them
- You work in git and open pull requests rather than editing live
- You explain what broke in plain language
Answer these in your proposal:
1. Link me to an Astro site you built or maintain.
2. A dependency update breaks the production build. Walk me through your first ten minutes.
3. What is your monthly retainer, and your hourly rate for anything beyond it?
Everyone starts with one small paid task before I set up the retainer.
