Overall Project Scope: • Change the design of my website to make it 1) fully mobile responsive, and 2) more modern looking. Key Requirements: • Mobile responsive – use Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Native CSS (Flexbox / Grid), or similar technology. In your proposal, please specify what you will use and why you make that recommendation. o The menu system of the website should also be easy to access and use for users on mobile devices. Menu system is currently based on jQuery. Can retain jQuery, if necessary, but prefer to replace it with a modern framework. o Tables with information should also be easily accessible to users on mobile devices. • Website should remain coded in HTML, CSS, and PHP, with JavaScript for needed functionality. o Retain current JavaScript functionality / scripts. • Modernize website design – font and font size, page layout, placement / use of testimonials, home page design, iconography / imagery, CTA buttons, etc. We should jointly finalize the theme before it is broadly implemented. • Keep current branding and color schematics. I’m open to alternatives, but this is not the focus of the project. Any alternate branding / color schemes would have to be very compelling to be considered. • Integrate Google Analytics and other common Google / Meta / etc. tools into website. I will create accounts for anything that I don’t already have. • Integrate a mailing list signup page, with delivery of a lead magnet for those who register. • Include a cookie consent policy pop-up, as most websites currently have. This should appear only until the user accepts, not repeatedly on every webpage. Fine to use an “off-the-shelf” solution. Do not need custom coding for this. • Use current, modern, secure versions of PHP and other code / tools. Avoid using any outdated technology or coding. • Page load speed is important. Avoid unnecessary bulk in the coding. • Any new custom-designed imagery (if needed) must be provided to me in Photoshop format with all layers (no merged layers), for future editing needs. • All stock imagery must be licensed. I will purchase stock imagery as needed, but prefer that we avoid using high-cost imagery. All images currently on website are licensed and can be used. • Website imagery, design, branding, and unique style elements will be proprietary to me and must not be duplicated on other websites that you build. Likely all of the work was generated by AI or copied from textbooks. While we were looking for his work product (statistics and data analysis) what we saw was content from AI or textbooks, where zero insights were given to any calculations and the specific data we provided and only excerpts from textbooks with instructions how conclusions, interpretations and insights should be drawn from the data and calculation results. The work was so detached from the asks we placed that the freelancer decided to treat the data we provided as a stock price (it is not, and it couldn't be if someone looks at the visualization of the data), but some of the "pretend interpretations" were instructions how certain calculation can be used as trade signals (crossing moving averages to be used as trade signals and risk protection signals). This is proving that the freelanced did not have the understanding of what was asked and simply copied text book material that was not even relevant. To give him a chance we asked a number of time for him to pick one of the calculations he ran automated code for and give us the business interpretation of the results - interpretation that we could use. He continued providing other content as a response, not answers to what we asked. We tried do give that chance a number of times. The reason we were patient with letting him correct his work is his claim that he has PhD in math/physics. And we though we might not be giving him a chance to express his complex results. Unfortunately he did not use any of the chances to look back at a single numeric result he provided and to give us any interpretation. He continually took a lot of time to acknowledge, respond and provide any results (what he though were results). All work that he provided was very detached from the asks. Likely all of the work was generated by AI or copied from textbooks. While we were looking for his work product (statistics and data analysis) what we saw was content from AI or textbooks, where zero insights were given to any calculations and the specific data we provided and only excerpts from textbooks with instructions how conclusions, interpretations and insights should be drawn from the data and calculation results. The work was so detached from the asks we placed that the freelancer decided to treat the data we provided as a stock price (it is not, and it couldn't be if someone looks at the visualization of the data), but some of the "pretend interpretations" were instructions how certain calculation can be used as trade signals (crossing moving averages to be used as trade signals and risk protection signals). This is proving that the freelanced did not have the understanding of what was asked and simply copied text book material that was not even relevant. To give him a chance we asked a number of time for him to pick one of the calculations he ran automated code for and give us the business interpretation of the results - interpretation that we could use. He continued providing other content as a response, not answers to what we asked. We tried do give that chance a number of times. The reason we were patient with letting him correct his work is his claim that he has PhD in math/physics. And we though we might not be giving him a chance to express his complex results. Unfortunately he did not use any of the chances to look back at a single numeric result he provided and to give us any interpretation.
