After a lengthy interview process that involved over 30 candidates and more than three hours of discussion, I was hired on an hourly contract with more then 30 hours a week. However, after just one week, the client expressed concerns about their budget and proposed shifting to a fixed-price contract. This change was accompanied by pressure to take on additional tasks under the premise of multiple contracts, accompanied by smaller milestones than initially agreed upon. Unfortunately, this led to a feeling of being undervalued and coerced, as the client requested more work without appropriate compensation. Based on this experience, I would caution others when considering work with this client.
