SENIOR BRAND DESIGNER / ART DIRECTOR — CANNABIS BRAND
Website, Packaging & Brand Systems
Indiva is a licensed Florida medical cannabis operator seeking a senior, hands-on brand designer to become a close creative partner as we define and build a more cohesive visual identity around the brand.
We currently have an established logo, a primary brand color, exploratory packaging concepts, product imagery, and active website layouts being developed in Figma. However, much of the broader visual identity—including typography, supporting color, image treatment, graphic language, and system rules—has not yet been formally developed.
Our immediate priorities are creating polished visual assets for our new website, developing and refining product packaging, and establishing a reusable design foundation that can extend across digital, retail, product, campaign, and marketing materials.
This is not a one-off logo or social media project. It is an opportunity to help shape the visual world of an emerging consumer brand while also producing the practical assets we currently need.
IMMEDIATE AREAS OF FOCUS
-Website hero graphics, promotional banners, category artwork, backgrounds, textures, and responsive desktop and mobile assets that can be handed directly to our developers
-Packaging concepts and refinements, dielines, label systems, product mockups, and organized production-ready files for packaging vendors and printers
-Foundational visual direction, including typography, supporting color, image treatments, composition principles, textures, patterns, and other reusable graphic elements
-Illustration direction, templates, campaign systems, and adaptable visual assets
-Product-launch graphics, retail materials, merchandise, social assets, and other brand content as needs develop
WHAT WE NEED
Our current materials should be viewed as starting points rather than a finished brand system. We are not looking to replace the Indiva name or logo. We are looking for someone who can help translate an emerging creative direction into a distinctive, ownable visual foundation and then apply it consistently across real business needs.
Our website layouts are currently being developed with an external development team. The general page structures are taking shape, but many of the graphics and visual assets are still placeholders. One of the designer’s first responsibilities will be creating polished, developer-ready artwork that gives the website a stronger and more cohesive brand presence.
We are not looking for a generic rebrand, a production-only designer, or someone who needs every design decision prescribed in advance.
We need someone who can absorb the existing brand, understand what we are trying to build, contribute original ideas, and translate references, conversations, emotional reactions, and sometimes subjective feedback into clear and intentional visual solutions.
The right person should be able to think conceptually while remaining highly hands-on. You should be comfortable helping develop the creative direction, refining the details, applying the emerging system to real projects, and personally executing polished work through final delivery
A strong candidate should have:
-A portfolio showing complete brand systems across multiple touchpoints, not only isolated logos or social media posts
-Experience helping create or evolve a visual identity from incomplete, fragmented, or early-stage materials
-Excellent typography, composition, color, image treatment, and visual storytelling skills
-Experience creating website graphics, digital campaigns, and responsive visual assets
-Experience with packaging, dielines, print production, and vendor-ready file preparation
-Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, with working proficiency in Figma
-The ability to deliver clean, organized, editable source files and clearly labeled final exports
-Exceptional spoken and written English for live creative collaboration and nuanced feedback
-The ability to explain creative decisions, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend stronger solutions when appropriate
-Availability for regular working-hour overlap with Eastern Time
Experience with consumer packaged goods, lifestyle, beverage, hospitality, streetwear, music, retail, or cannabis brands is especially relevant.
OUR CREATIVE DIRECTION
Indiva should feel like a brand with a genuine point of view: modern, art-led, confident, and unmistakably human.
It should feel premium without becoming sterile, expressive without becoming chaotic, and approachable without looking generic. We want work that is bold enough to create intrigue, refined enough to earn trust, and distinctive enough that it could only belong to Indiva.
We have a strong sense of what feels right or wrong, but the visual identity has not yet been fully brought into focus. Helping translate that taste into a coherent, ownable design language is an important part of this role.
Strong typography, thoughtful image-making, tactile detail, unexpected composition, and a clear sense of authorship matter more to us than following any single trend or predetermined style. Illustration, collage, photography, texture, pattern, and digital experimentation may all have a place when they support a strong concept rather than simply decorate the work.
We do not want Indiva to look like a conventional dispensary, a sterile wellness brand, or a collection of disconnected trendy graphics. We want to avoid generic cannabis leaves, smoke effects, neon clichés, arbitrary psychedelic imagery, templated social content, and work that feels visibly AI-generated or creatively anonymous.
The goal is to build a flexible visual world with depth, personality, and consistency—one that can evolve across products, packaging, campaigns, retail, digital experiences, and future markets without losing its identity.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
The engagement will begin with a paid test followed by our immediate website, packaging, and foundational brand needs.
The initial work will involve both creative development and practical execution. We need someone who can help establish the visual principles of the brand while also applying those principles to assets that our developers, packaging vendors, printers, and internal team can use.
If the fit is strong, the goal is to develop an ongoing relationship with one primary designer who understands the brand deeply, builds on previous decisions, maintains consistency, and can support a wider range of creative needs as Indiva grows.
You will work directly with the person leading the brand’s internal creative direction. We value open collaboration, thoughtful questions, clear communication, and designers who bring a genuine perspective rather than simply agreeing with every request.
This posting is for an individual freelancer. We are not looking for an agency, account manager, or subcontracted design team. The person we interview should be the person personally completing the work.
Selected finalists may be offered the same small paid test project. Based on the quality of the work, communication, creative fit, and response to feedback, one designer will be selected for the ongoing relationship.
HOW TO APPLY
Please submit no more than three highly relevant case studies. For each project, explain what you personally created, how the visual system extended across multiple touchpoints, and what your role was.
Please also confirm:
-Your current weekly availability
-Your normal working hours and Eastern Time overlap
-The software you use
-Your comfort participating in live creative calls in English
-That you will personally perform the work
-Whether and how you use generative AI, stock assets, templates, or outside collaborators in your process
Generic proposals, large collections of unrelated portfolio links, and agency submissions will not be prioritized.
Client's questions:
Confirm your weekly availability, Eastern Time overlap, spoken-English comfort for live creative calls, software used, and whether you personally perform all work.
Share one project where you created a cohesive visual system across at least three different touchpoints, such as packaging, website, campaign graphics, retail, social, or print. What did you personally create, and what decisions kept the work cohesive?

I'm looking for an experienced Adobe Illustrator designer/illustrator to recreate an approved concept into a production-ready, large-format backdrop for my husband's 75th birthday celebration.

Deliverables: AI, print-ready PDF, packaged fonts, linked assets, editable layers

Custom newspaper graphics
Vintage travel suitcase
Director's clapboard
Parking sign
Other Hollywood-themed props
Requirements:
Expert in Adobe Illustrator
Experience designing large-format event graphics, trade show displays, or stage backdrops

I'll provide the full creative brief, printer template, and approved concept artwork to shortlisted designers.

We're producing a series of short comedic video segments in the style of a spoof news broadcast — think SNL "Weekend Update" or a satirical local news parody, promoting a fashion resale/marketplace brand called Zundus. All segments feature one anchor delivering deadpan, dry comedic news reports, shot on a cheap green screen on some videos. We also wanted a graphic with our logo and the Breaking News. We also wanted a little banner on the bottom of the screen reporting on whatever we are saying as if its the actual news. I don't know it would be better to have it horizantal or vertical style since we would like to post on instagram/youtube and tiktok.
I have a logo in jpg format that I need to convert into a high res vector file. Will need 2 versions, a flat black background and a transparent. This is a quick and easy job that could turn into additional graphic art work.

Overall Project Scope:
We are a custom luxury home builder in the Dallas / Frisco area looking for a designer to create a premium branded lookbook / editorial brochure to be displayed in upscale waiting areas and used as a marketing piece.
The final product should feel elegant, modern, and high-end — more like a luxury design publication than a standard brochure.
What We Need:
Design an 8–12 page custom lookbook
Premium editorial-style layout
Showcase our homes, craftsmanship, design style, and brand story
Use our provided photos, logo, and text content
Create a polished flow with strong visual storytelling
Include contact information / website
Deliverables:
Print-ready PDF
Digital PDF version
Editable source files preferred (specially the back cover)
Project Notes:
We will provide photos and written content
Looking for clean, luxury, timeless design aesthetic
Ideal Candidate:
Editorial / brochure layout experience
Strong portfolio with premium or real estate brands
Print-ready design experience
Client's questions:
Please share 2–3 examples of editorial, magazine, brochure, luxury real estate, architecture, or premium brand designs you’ve created.
What would you do to make this project feel high-end and premium rather than like a basic brochure?
We will provide photos, logo, and text. How would you organize these into a polished 8–12 page lookbook efficiently?
Have you prepared files for professional printing before? What files would you deliver?
What timeline would you need for an 8–12 page project?
Looking for an experienced brand and packaging designer to refine our existing logo and create a professional industrial packaging system, including reusable carton labels, product label templates, and print-ready brand assets.

We’re looking for an experienced brand naming strategist to help us create the name for a consumer-facing brand from a respected and beloved public media organization.
This engagement focuses exclusively on brand naming. It is not a logo or visual identity project.
We’ve already completed substantial work internally, including:
* brand positioning
* naming territories
* naming workshop
* shortlist of 5-6 names that have elements we like, but none feel quite like the winner
We’re looking for someone who can bring an outside perspective, challenge our thinking, and conduct a disciplined and effiicient naming process that produces several strong candidates.
This is an opportunity to create a brand that could be used for many years across digital experiences, events, content, partnerships, and community engagement.
Deliverables — please propose your own process, but we’d expect something similar to:
Ideal experience — we’re specifically looking for someone who has successfully named:
* consumer brands
* media brands
* entertainment brands
* digital products
* community platforms
* consumer experiences
Experience with cultural organizations, nonprofits, or destination brands is a plus—but not required.
To apply, please include:
1. A brief description of your naming philosophy and typical process.
2. Three naming projects you’ve personally led.
3. Which names (if public) you’re most proud of.
4. Approximately how many hours you would expect this engagement to require.
5. Your availability over the next 2–4 weeks.
If the project seems to be a good fit based on your answers, we will share a detailed brief, results of our internal name exploration, our short list of 5-6 names with with observations on what we like / where they fall short.
Note: We recognize that many naming professionals now use AI as one input to accelerate ideation. That’s perfectly acceptable; in fact we used it for our own internal exploration. We’re hiring for strategic thinking, judgment, originality, and the ability to identify names that are distinctive, memorable, and aligned with our brand—not the ability to generate large numbers of options.
Client's questions:
Provide a brief description of your naming philosophy and typical process.
Briefly describe three naming projects you’ve personally led.
Which brand names (if public) you were responsible for creating that you’re most proud of.
Approximately how many hours would you expect this engagement to require? Ballpark is fine; you will have the opportunity to refine your estimate for a proposal once we've shared more detailed info on our internal exploration.

AURA Launch Commercial Creative Brief
Project Overview
Create the official launch commercial for AURA, introducing our hydration brand and our first two products:
• Aura Flex – Water Bottle
• Aura Flow – Tumbler
This is not simply a product advertisement.
This is the introduction of a lifestyle brand.
The commercial should feel like the launch of a new generation of hydration products. Think Apple introducing a new iPhone, Nike launching a new shoe, or Owala introducing a new collection. The audience should immediately understand that Aura is modern, youthful, ambitious, and built for today's lifestyle.
________________________________________
Objective
We want viewers to leave with one thought:
"I want that bottle."
Not because it keeps water cold.
Because it represents the lifestyle they want to live.
Aura should feel like an everyday companion that follows ambitious young people through every part of their day.
________________________________________
Brand Identity
Aura is built around one message:
Build Your Aura
Every habit.
Every workout.
Every class.
Every meeting.
Every piece of content you create.
You're building your aura.
The bottle simply becomes part of that journey.
This message should be subtly reinforced throughout the commercial rather than only appearing at the end.

• GPS navigation
• GRWM videos
• FaceTime
• Cooking tutorials
• Content creation

Each bottle rotates independently.
The product name appears in elegant typography.
For example:

Slate Blue
Allow each color to have its own visual moment before revealing the complete collection together.

AI-generated actors, environments, and product compositing are encouraged, provided the final result is indistinguishable from traditional filmmaking.
________________________________________
Music Direction: Modern, energetic, emotional, and cinematic. Think an upbeat track that builds momentum throughout the commercial, similar to Owala, Nike or Apple launch films. The editing should be tightly synchronized to the beat, with quick transitions early in the video and a slower, premium-paced product reveal at the end.

• 30-45 second commercial
• 9:16 master
• 16:9 version
• Color graded
• Sound design
• Motion graphics
• Product animation

We need someone to populate pre-built (or nearly pre-built) After Effects templates with fighter data for a charity boxing event: 48 round timer sponsor overlays, 32 square matchup graphics, and 16 "Tale of the Tape" stat comparison animations. This is templated, data-driven work, plugging names, records, and logos into existing project files and rendering, not original design work.
What you'll receive:
- After Effects template files (Tale of the Tape, Round Timer, Fight Week matchup)
- Sponsor logo files and a placement guide from the event organizer
- A fighter data sheet (name, weight, record, hometown)
What we need:
- 48 Round Timer sponsor overlay renders (logo-swap + timing sync)
- 32 Fight Week 1x1 matchup graphics (square format)
- 16 Tale of the Tape animations (data populated per matchup)
Note: this posting assumes templates already exist and this role is population/rendering only. If templates are not fully built by project start, a separate short milestone (roughly $780, about 12 hours) will be added for initial template construction, we'll discuss this upfront if it applies.
Must have:
- Strong After Effects skills, comfortable with expressions and data-linked templates
- Experience with sports or event broadcast graphics is a plus
- Availability for a quick turnaround (data available in late August, delivery within about a week)
To apply, please answer:
1. Have you worked with data-linked or templated After Effects projects before (populating existing templates versus building new ones)?
2. Link an example of broadcast-style sports graphics you've produced (Tale of the Tape, matchup graphics, or similar).
3. How many rendered graphic variations can you realistically turn around per day once you have the data?

I'm launching a small cosmetics brand (flavoured nail polish) and need illustration and label design for four flavours: cherry, strawberry, mango, vanilla.
The work:
Redraw an existing bubble-letter logo cleanly in vector
Illustrate 4 flavour artworks in one consistent style: rich, appetising, semi-realistic fruit clusters with defined outlines and dimensional shading (not flat vector, not photorealistic)
Assemble 4 print-ready labels: brand name, logo, flavour artwork, flavour name
What already exists: the style direction, colour system, layout hierarchy and reference images are all defined. This is execution, not concept development.
Looking for: someone with food or produce illustration in their portfolio: appetising fruit rendering is the core skill here. Please share relevant examples.
Logo & Brand Identity Design for a Premium Gym & Lifestyle Apparel Brand
I’m looking for a talented graphic designer to create the visual identity for my apparel brand, Sweat Nation.
The brand is focused on premium oversized T-shirts made from a cotton and spandex blend. The shirts are designed to be worn both inside and outside the gym, combining fitness with modern streetwear.
Project Scope
I’m looking for someone to design:

* A collection of original front graphics that will be placed on the upper chest.
Design Concept
The first collection will consist of multiple T-shirts.
Each T-shirt will have:
* A different color.
* A unique front illustration representing a specific fitness exercise or workout movement (such as weightlifting, pull-ups, running, boxing, stretching, etc.).
* A consistent illustration style so the entire collection feels connected.
The back design will remain the same across all T-shirts and will feature the custom “Sweat Nation” typography.
Style
I’m looking for a design style that is:
* Modern
* Minimal
* Premium
* Athletic
* Streetwear-inspired
The illustrations should be clean, simple, recognizable, and suitable for apparel printing.
Please include examples of your previous work in logo design, branding, apparel graphics, or streetwear projects.
I’m also looking for a designer who is interested in building a long-term working relationship, as I plan to release future collections and will need ongoing design support.
We are looking for a graphic designer to create a special-edition logo mark for our organization’s 55th anniversary celebration and conference.
This is not a redesign of our existing logo. Our current logo will remain our primary brand identity. We need a commemorative anniversary logo that can be used specifically for this milestone event and related celebration materials.
The design should:
Incorporate our existing brand/logo elements while creating a fresh anniversary look
Celebrate our 55-year milestone in a professional and memorable way
Feel consistent with our organization’s identity
Work well for both digital and print use
Deliverables:
2–3 initial design concepts
Final approved logo design
Editable vector files (AI/EPS/SVG) and high-resolution PNG/PDF files
Versions suitable for different uses (if needed)
Ideal designer:
Experience creating logos, event marks, or anniversary branding
Strong typography and layout skills
Able to create a design that feels celebratory while maintaining brand recognition
Please include examples of similar logo or event branding work in your portfolio.

We are seeking a creative strategist or social visual designer to develop a cohesive, elevated social content system for a growing skincare and wellness brand.
The client has an established brand identity, but its current social presence does not yet have a recognizable or ownable visual system. We need someone who can translate an existing brand foundation and strategic direction into two compelling visual territories, then develop the selected direction into a practical, reusable Canva system.
This is an evolution of an existing identity, not a rebrand.
The desired direction should make professional skincare feel expert-led, aspirational, approachable and naturally integrated into a consistent beauty-and-wellness lifestyle.
Project Scope
This is a fixed-price project with two milestones.
Milestone 1: Visual Direction — $125
Due Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Please develop:
- Two genuinely distinct visual territories
- A name and concise strategic rationale for each territory
- A mood board for each territory
- Recommended palette usage
- Typography hierarchy and usage recommendations
- Photography composition, lighting, color and environment guidance
- Graphic-treatment cues
- Guidance for Reel covers, carousels, reviews, before-and-afters and editorial or creator features
- One directional 3×3 feed visualization for each territory
- A concise assessment of supplied B-roll: mark as usable, limited or avoid
- Identify visual and asset gaps which we will address through future content production
- Presentation-Ready Deliverables
The two territories should express the same underlying strategy while providing a meaningful creative choice. They should not simply be two color variations of the same idea.
Milestone 1 will support an upcoming client strategy presentation. The visual territories, mood boards, recommendations and 3×3 feed concepts should therefore be delivered in a polished, client-ready format that can be easily incorporated into a broader presentation. Google Slides or PowerPoint is preferred.
Milestone 2: Selected Visual System — $125
Begins after the client selects a territory and provides consolidated feedback
Please develop:
- One refined 9–12 tile feed visualization
- Approximately five to six simple, editable Canva master templates, with the final number confirmed at kickoff
- Suggested template families: System or service carousel; Proof or testimonial; Reel cover; Membership or entry-point content; Expert, editorial or publication quote; Creator collaboration or repost
- Basic usage notes covering: Palette and typography hierarchy; Photography treatment; Spacing and overlays; Reel-cover rules; Quote and publication-feature treatments; Creator collaboration and repost treatments; Suggested feed balance
Editable Canva is preferred.
Assets and Direction Provided. The selected freelancer will receive:
- A detailed creative-system brief
- Strategic audience, messaging and content direction
- The client’s existing brand system and brand card
- Logo, color and typography guidance
- Existing B-roll from a previous commercial shoot
- Consolidated feedback from one project lead
The current photography and video library is limited. The system must be able to begin with limited assets or placeholders and improve as stronger custom photography and video become available.
A separate content shoot is being considered. We would value practical guidance on the photography, compositions and footage needed to make the selected system successful.
All client information and materials shared after selection must be treated as confidential.
Creative Considerations
The finished system should
- Work across owned social, creator collaborations, editorial features and paid amplification
- Be maintainable by a non-designer in Canva
- Use real photography, video and creator content as its long-term foundation
Please avoid:
- Generic social-media template packs
- Traditional or stuffy spa aesthetics
- Overly sterile clinical design
- Generic trend-driven sameness
- Synthetic AI patients, procedures or treatment results (this is fine in the mock-ups/visual territories, but will not work for final templates)
- AI may be used for ideation and layout exploration, but the final system should be designed around authentic client and creator assets.
Ideal Freelancer
You may be a strong fit if you have experience in:
- Creative direction or art direction
- Social visual systems
- Mood boards and visual territories
- Beauty, skincare, wellness, hospitality or lifestyle brands
- Instagram feed design
- Editable Canva templates
- Working within existing brand guidelines
- Designing systems that accommodate limited initial assets
- Presentation or pitch-deck design
We are especially interested in designers who can connect strategic thinking with polished visual execution.
Client's questions:
Please confirm that you can deliver Milestone 1 by August 5, 2026
Please provide at least one presentation or pitch-deck example, or a portfolio if applicable
Describe your recent experience with similar projects

We are a U.S.-based manufacturer and wholesale distributor of commercial plumbing products seeking a long-term freelance partner to help maintain and produce our technical product documentation.
This is not a branding, logo, or marketing design position. Our branding, document templates, and product direction are already established.
We're looking for someone who enjoys organized, detail-oriented production work and wants to become a long-term extension of our team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Please note: This role is primarily production and document maintenance—not creative design. The content, product information, and design direction will be provided. Your role is to execute revisions accurately, maintain consistency, and deliver organized, fully editable source files.*
You'll help maintain and produce a variety of technical product documentation, including:
• Product brochures
• Specification sheets
• Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
• Installation instructions
• Exploded parts drawings
• Product catalogs
• Product photos and graphics
• Website-ready PDF assets
Most projects begin with existing Adobe InDesign files and clearly marked revision notes. As new products are introduced, you'll also help create new documentation using our existing templates and standards.
HOW WE WORK
We have developed a structured documentation workflow and are looking for someone who enjoys working within organized systems.
We provide:
• Existing Adobe InDesign files
• Clearly marked PDF revision notes
• Product photos
• Technical drawings from our factory
• Technical specifications and content
• Logos, icons, certifications, and supporting assets
• Clear direction on required revisions
Your responsibilities:
• Execute revisions accurately in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
• Maintain our existing layouts and document standards
• Edit and clean up vector technical illustrations and exploded parts drawings when needed
• Keep linked artwork organized and editable
• Return fully editable source files
• Properly package Adobe InDesign projects
• Export print-ready and web-ready PDFs
• Ask questions when something doesn't look right rather than making assumptions
We value organization, consistency, and attention to detail. We'd much rather answer a question than have something guessed incorrectly.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who enjoys technical documentation—not someone primarily focused on creative marketing design.
Required skills:
• Advanced Adobe InDesign
• Advanced Adobe Illustrator
• Experience working with linked graphics and assets
• Ability to edit vector artwork
• Strong publication and layout production skills
• Experience packaging Adobe InDesign projects
• Ability to prepare print-ready and web-ready PDFs
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written English
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
Experience creating documentation for products in any of the following industries is highly preferred:
• Manufacturing
• Industrial equipment
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Engineering
• Mechanical products
• Electrical products
• Construction products
• Medical devices
If you've previously created equipment manuals, product catalogs, specification sheets, installation guides, or technical documentation, we'd love to hear from you.
DELIVERABLES
Completed projects should typically include:
• Adobe InDesign source files (.indd)
• Adobe Illustrator source files (.ai)
• Linked artwork maintained separately
• Properly packaged Adobe InDesign projects
• Print-ready PDFs
• Web-optimized PDFs
Whenever practical, we prefer artwork to remain linked rather than embedded so future revisions are easy to manage.
LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for someone who can grow with us.
This is not a one-time brochure project. We anticipate ongoing work involving:
• New product launches
• Product revisions
• Technical manual updates
• Exploded parts drawing updates
• Website documentation
• Product literature maintenance
As you become familiar with our products and documentation standards, we hope you'll become a trusted long-term production partner.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The ideal person for this role:
• Enjoys bringing order to complex documentation
• Takes pride in creating clean, organized source files
• Notices inconsistencies and asks thoughtful questions
• Understands that today's work should be easy to update years from now
• Wants to build a long-term working relationship instead of simply completing one project
TO APPLY
Please include the following in your proposal:
Examples of technical documentation, product catalogs, manuals, or engineering-related work.
A brief description of your experience with Adobe InDesign packages and linked Adobe Illustrator assets.
Your hourly rate.
Your typical weekly availability.
Include the word Hydrotek somewhere in your proposal so we know you've read the entire posting.

Project Overview
We're a B2B technology company launching a new service offering and need a polished 60–90 second animated explainer video to feature on our website, YouTube, and social channels. This is the second video in a short series, so we're looking for a designer who can match an established visual style and deliver consistent, on-brand work. Strong candidates may be considered for the remaining videos in the series.
What We're Looking For
Clean, modern motion graphics / kinetic typography animation (2D)
Ability to work from a provided script and scene-by-scene storyboard
Consistency with an existing brand style guide (colors, fonts, logo lock-ups provided)
Experience animating icon-driven, concept-based B2B explainers (not character-heavy cartoon style)
Smooth pacing synced to a voiceover track
Scope of Work
Animate ~9 scenes based on our storyboard and brand assets
Incorporate on-screen text callouts, animated statistics/data points, and icon transitions
Integrate a provided or sourced voiceover and light background music
Deliver a branded intro/outro end card with a call-to-action button
Format optimized for web and YouTube (16:9, 1080p minimum; 4K preferred)
What We'll Provide
Full script and detailed storyboard
Brand style guide (color palette, typography, logo files)
Any required icons/logos and reference to the previous video in the series for style matching
Deliverables
1 final video (60–90 sec), plus source/project files
Up to 2 rounds of revisions included
Skills Required
A short portfolio or reel of similar B2B/tech explainer or motion-graphics work
Your estimated timeline and cost for a project of this scope
Confirmation you can match an existing video style from provided references
I'm publishing a leadership nonfiction book through IngramSpark under my own imprint, Unmasked Legacy Press, with simultaneous hardcover and paperback editions. I need a designer to handle the complete cover package, including an original illustrated mark.
THE BOOK
Title: Unmasked Leadership: Lead from Who You Are, Not Who You're Performing
Genre: Leadership / business trade nonfiction, approximately 81,500 words
Audience: Senior executives, founders, and leadership teams
Trim: 6x9, simultaneous hardcover ($26.99) and paperback ($18.99)
Comp titles in tone: serious, restrained, adult trade nonfiction. Not motivational, not stock-photo-driven, no cliché mask imagery.
The phoenix is a central motif in the manuscript and I want it represented on the cover as an original drawn mark — not licensed stock, not a font glyph, not AI-generated.
DELIVERABLES
Paperback cover wrap (front, spine, back), print-ready
Casebound hardcover board wrap, print-ready
Dust jacket wrap including both flaps, print-ready
Original phoenix mark, drawn from scratch, delivered as scalable vector artwork
Flat front cover JPG at retail-listing resolution
Simple typographic wordmark for the Unmasked Legacy Press imprint (no phoenix on this one)
Layered, packaged source files with fonts and links
FILE REQUIREMENTS
Print-ready PDF/X-1a, CMYK, fonts embedded or outlined
Built on the official IngramSpark Cover Template Generator files for each binding — not on your own measurements
Total ink coverage kept within IngramSpark's ceiling; note that I'm specifying matte laminate, and heavy ink coverage at the fold areas can cause adhesion imperfections, so I need someone who designs around that rather than discovering it on the proof
Layout must tolerate IngramSpark's 1/16" print variance
Phoenix mark in .ai/.eps and .svg
TIMELINE
Hire: week of August 3
Three initial cover concepts: August 21
Chosen direction refined, front cover approved: September 4
Final page count arrives from my typesetter: mid-September
Full wraps built to final spine width: September 25
Proof review and any corrections: early October
Launch: October 20, 2026
IMPORTANT: my typesetter is still in progress, so the final page count — and therefore the exact spine width — will not exist until mid-September. The contract must include one spine-adjustment pass at no additional charge once the real page count is confirmed. Please price this in from the start.
RIGHTS
This is work for hire. Full assignment of copyright to me on final payment, including the phoenix mark, which I intend to use as a trademarked brand asset across my website, presentations, workbooks, and future titles. All artwork must be human-authored; I'll need written confirmation that no generative AI was used to produce the illustration or mark. This is a rights and ownership issue, not an aesthetic preference — AI-generated artwork may not be copyrightable, and I can't build a brand on a mark I can't own.
BUDGET
$2,000-$2,500 fixed price, paid in milestones tied to the deliverables above. If your quote falls outside that, tell me what you'd need and why.
TO APPLY, please answer these five questions directly. Applications that skip them won't be reviewed.
Show me a casebound hardcover with a dust jacket that you designed and that was actually printed through IngramSpark. Not a mockup — a printed book.
Show me a graphic mark, symbol, or logotype you drew from scratch.
What's your process for handling spine width when the final page count isn't available yet?
How many concept rounds and revision rounds are included at your quoted price?
What do you need from me to start, and what's your availability between August 3 and October 1?

The goal is to create a polished, professional design that aligns with the firm's brand identity.
