No. The Auto-Bidding plan already includes every Vollna Agency Plan feature, so you don't need to subscribe to Agency separately. Note: "Vollna Agency Plan" is one of our subscription tiers — it is not the same as Upwork's Agency Plus Membership, which is a separate Upwork-side requirement (see the next question).

Yes. Auto-Bidding submits proposals through a verified Business Manager on your Upwork agency. To invite a Business Manager and send proposals on behalf of agency members, your agency must have Upwork's Agency Plus Membership active on Upwork. This is Upwork's own paid agency subscription — it is separate from any Vollna plan.

We continuously monitor Upwork policy changes and adapt the workflow accordingly. Because the service is rule-based and built around agency access controls and connected Business Manager access, we can adjust the process if requirements change. If any update affects the service, we'll notify you and explain the operational changes needed.

Vollna runs from your configured agency workflow rather than from browser scripts on your personal Upwork session. Your agency sets the filters, templates, limits, and schedules, and proposals are sent automatically through connected Business Manager access inside those rules.

No. Upwork enforces hard location restrictions on US-only and UK-only job posts. These jobs are only visible and open for proposals to freelancers who have verified their location in that country.

For agencies, this restriction applies to every identity involved in proposal submission — both the freelancer profile used in the proposal and the connected Business Manager account used for submission must be verified as located in the respective country.

Since the connected Business Manager access used by Vollna is not located in the US or UK, we are unable to submit proposals to these restricted jobs.

You'll receive email notifications when you reach 80% and 100% of your monthly proposal limit.

Once you've used all proposals included in your plan, automated bidding will pause until your next billing period.

Want to keep going? Enable "Continue over limit" in your Auto-Bidding dashboard. When enabled, proposals will continue beyond your monthly limit at a per-proposal rate shown in your dashboard. Extra proposals are invoiced at the end of your billing period.

You can also upgrade to a higher plan for more included proposals at a lower per-proposal cost.

Technically speaking, no, you are required to have an agency profile to use Vollna Automated Bidding. However, many of our users are solo freelancers who set up agency profiles to automate their lead generation effectively. If you're an individual freelancer interested in automation, Vollna can still work for you just as efficiently, but you will still need to set up an agency profile to use it.
