Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Language Coach from Puerto Rico to provide one-on-one and small group virtual coaching to our members and clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others achieve their language goals, skilled in facilitating engaging conversations, and committed to delivering a positive and productive learning experience. Must be comfortable with sharing aspects of Puerto Rican Spanish and culture with language learners.

Responsibilities
Language Coaching
• Provide one-on-one and small group virtual coaching services to members and clients as scheduled
• Facilitate coaching conversations to help clients/members clarify their goals
• Assist members/clients in staying focused on their stated goals
• Develop and review individualized coaching plans
• Adhere to coaching plans during each session
• Prepare relevant resources and materials for each session
• Uphold Spanish con Salsa’s principles and values to ensure a positive coaching experience
• Provide constructive feedback with suggested actions for clients to complete post-session
• Document feedback, new vocabulary, and concepts discussed during sessions
• Stay up-to-date on Spanish language education and coaching methodologies
Educational Materials & Assignments
• Review and become familiar with Spanish con Salsa courses
• Collaborate with team members to prepare educational materials (e.g., vocabulary lists, flashcards, presentations)
• Participate in peer reviews of team members' work
Administrative & Communication
• Manage your calendar to keep coaching availability up-to-date
• Communicate with clients and members via the Spanish con Salsa web portal
• Actively participate in all scheduled team meetings
• Respond to communications (emails, messages) within 24 hours, Monday through Saturday
• Notify relevant parties if you will be more than 10 minutes late for any scheduled appointments
• Participate in interviews for Spanish con Salsa’s podcasts as needed

Qualifications
• Must be a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico
• Intermediate level of English proficiency required
• Previous experience in language coaching or teaching Spanish
• Ability to facilitate both one-on-one and small group sessions
• Strong understanding of language education and coaching principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to facilitate engaging and goal-oriented conversations
• Proficient with virtual communication tools and technology
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with online learning platforms is a plus
