We are an architecture studio looking for an experienced freelance photo editor / retoucher for the professional post-production of architectural photographs for our website and portfolio.
We are looking for someone with a very good eye for realistic architectural photography, rather than a general graphic designer or AI image generator. The task We provide original photographs of completed architectural projects, mainly exterior and interior photographs. The photographs should be professionally edited in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (if appropriate) so that they are clean, natural and suitable for a high-quality architecture website. Typical tasks may include: professional colour and exposure correction correcting white balance and contrast natural enhancement of materials and architectural surfaces removing distracting objects, people, signs, cables, etc. cleaning up unwanted visual elements correcting or improving skies when necessary subtle adjustment of vegetation and surrounding landscape improving lawns, trees and planting where necessary maintaining realistic shadows, reflections and lighting perspective and lens corrections where appropriate creating a coherent visual appearance across a series of photographs preparing the final images for web use Very important: natural and photographic results The most important requirement is photorealism. In particular, vegetation, trees, shrubs, grass and skies must look completely natural and believable. We do NOT want the typical artificial appearance that can result from generative AI image editing. AI tools may be used as an additional tool if the result remains completely photorealistic. However, the architecture itself must never be altered or artificially redesigned. The existing building, materials, proportions, details and architectural design must remain unchanged. The final image should look like a professionally photographed and carefully retouched architectural photograph – not like an AI-generated image. Our expectations We are looking for someone who: has extensive experience with Adobe Photoshop has experience with architectural photography, real estate photography or high-end commercial photography understands perspective, light, materials and architectural details has a very good understanding of natural-looking vegetation works carefully rather than applying generic presets or automated filters can maintain a consistent visual style across several images is interested in a possible ongoing collaboration Trial assignment Before starting a larger project, we would like to commission a small paid test assignment. We will provide one of our original architectural photographs. Several candidates may edit the same photograph so that we can compare the results directly. The main criteria will be: How natural does the image look? How well is the architecture preserved? How convincing is the vegetation? Are the colours and light realistic? Does the result look like professional architectural photography rather than an AI-generated image? Please include in your proposal a short introduction examples of your best architectural / real-estate / exterior photography retouching before-and-after examples, if available your price for the paid test image your usual pricing (per image, per hour or per project) your estimated turnaround time whether you use generative AI in your workflow and, if so, how We are particularly interested in freelancers who can become a reliable long-term post-production partner for our architecture studio.

|
I am building a custom home and need an experienced kitchen/cabinet designer to create a complete, bid-ready cabinet design package from my architectural plans.
The purpose of this package is to send the same drawings and specifications to multiple cabinet manufacturers in the United States and overseas so they can provide directly comparable, accurate pricing. I am NOT looking for conceptual renderings only. I need detailed drawings with sufficient dimensions and specifications for a cabinet manufacturer to quote the project accurately. The existing architectural plans establish the kitchen footprint and general layout. The designer will develop the exact cabinetry within that space. Required deliverables: Fully dimensioned kitchen floor plan Cabinet elevations for every cabinet wall Elevations of both sides and both ends of each island Every cabinet individually numbered Exact width, height and depth of every cabinet Cabinet type identified (drawer base, door base, sink base, wall cabinet, tall cabinet, etc.) Complete cabinet schedule listing every cabinet by number and dimensions Appliance openings and exact appliance dimensions Finished end panels Refrigerator panels/enclosure Dishwasher panels where applicable Oven/microwave cabinet Range/hood cabinetry and hood dimensions Fillers and scribes Toe kicks Decorative panels Island back panels Island end panels Crown/light rail/other cabinet trim, if applicable Finished interior/exterior surfaces identified Door and drawer configuration for every cabinet Hardware quantities Linear footage summary for base, wall and tall cabinetry Kitchen design direction: Custom black walnut cabinetry Full-overlay slim Shaker doors/drawer fronts Two approximately 10' islands Taj Mahal quartzite countertops 48" Sub-Zero refrigerator 48" range Wall oven/microwave combination Two dishwashers Primarily drawer-base storage where practical Cabinet construction/material specifications should be clearly identified so manufacturers are quoting equivalent products. This should include proposed box construction, plywood thickness, drawer-box construction, door construction, walnut species/veneer/solid components, finished interiors, hinges, drawer slides and finish. VERY IMPORTANT: Do not assume dimensions that cannot be established from the architectural drawings. Clearly flag any field dimensions, appliance specifications, or architectural dimensions that must be confirmed before the drawings are released for manufacturing. Files I need at completion: Complete dimensioned PDF drawing set Cabinet schedule in Excel Editable source file (AutoCAD/DWG preferred; SketchUp or Chief Architect acceptable if appropriate) High-resolution elevations Optional 3D renderings for design review This package will initially be used FOR PRICING, not released directly for fabrication. The selected cabinet manufacturer will ultimately be responsible for final shop drawings and field verification before manufacturing. Please provide examples of detailed cabinet shop drawings, millwork drawings, or kitchen cabinet packages you have previously completed.

I need an interior designer to help with a small flat (620sq ft) renovation in Hong Kong. The project includes creating a 3D rendering of the space and preparing a full set of construction plan for my on-site contractor to implement on.
We're looking to renovate with a modern French/ Parisian look, create a new study with glass partition, and ensure clear focal points between the study, dining room, and the living room. I’m looking for someone who can translate my vision into clear design concepts and practical plans. Please share relevant examples of similar projects and your approach to working with clients on renovation projects. A few important details: - Deliverables should include: floor plans, ceiling and lighting layout, switch/socket positions, all in CAD, alongside 3D renders for visualization. - Recommendation on suitable materials for the renovation (e.g. type of paints, tiles, etc.) - Hong Kong uses 220-240V power with UK-style (BS 1363, three-pin) sockets. - All three main rooms have harbour views — the design should work with these views (avoid blocking sightlines with cabinetry, and consider window treatments for sun/glare). - I have a detailed household requirements brief (family info, style preferences, room-by-room needs) that I'll share as a reference document. XK300 Essence — 3D model and render asset pack (product visualisation)
We manufacture the XK300 Essence, a small wall-mounted contactless health monitoring sensor. We need a clean 3D model of it and a reusable library of transparent-background renders, so our team can drop the product into any photograph or scene in future without re-hiring for each image. This is an asset-creation job, not a one-off picture. What we will supply The product CAD (STEP or IGES). If we cannot release CAD, we will supply official product renders from four angles plus a dimensioned drawing, and you model from those. Official reference renders showing the exact material, finish and surface mark. Confirmed real dimensions: circular face 95 mm across, 45 mm deep at the thickest point. Deliverable A — master 3D model Clean, watertight model built at real-world scale in millimetres. Not scaled to arbitrary units. Faithful geometry: circular face, rounded wedge/teardrop side profile tapering to a thin edge, flat rear wall-mounting face, the fine panel split line, the small subtle embossed mark on the face, and the cable exit at the thick end. Materials: satin matte white ABS. Slight surface sheen, not glossy, not chalky. Two configurations, each as its own object: wall-mounted (the primary one) and a variant with the cable removed for clean hero use. Delivered as: .blend (native, required), plus .fbx, .obj and .glb. Deliverable B — transparent render library (the core of this job) All renders as PNG with straight (unpremultiplied) alpha, 16-bit, sRGB, no background. Fixed-scale framing rule — mandatory. Render every image so the frame width represents exactly 300 mm of real-world width, at 4000 px wide. That gives a constant 0.075 mm per pixel across the whole library. State this in a text file with the delivery. Do not crop images individually or frame them "to taste", because that destroys the known scale. Wall-mount orientation, correct way up: thin tapered edge at the top against the wall, thick bulging end at the bottom, so the face aims downward and outward at roughly 45 degrees. This orientation must be identical across every render. Angle set. Rotation around the vertical axis: 0°, ±15°, ±30°, ±45°, ±60°, ±75°, ±90° (13 angles). Each at two camera elevations: level with the device, and 20° below it (looking up, as a viewer in a room does). That is 26 renders in neutral studio lighting. Lighting variants. Repeat the 0°, ±30° and ±45° angles at both elevations under two more setups: warm interior (roughly 3000 K) and cool daylight (roughly 6500 K). That is 20 more renders. Per render, two separate files: The product beauty pass on transparent alpha. A separate contact-shadow / ambient-occlusion pass — the shadow the device casts on the wall behind it, black on transparent alpha, as its own file. We need this separately so we can lay it onto any wall colour. Renders without a separate shadow pass look pasted on, which is the exact problem we are solving. Turntable for video. One 360° orbit as a transparent PNG sequence, 120 frames, at the same fixed scale, product level with camera. Deliverable C — scale and compositing kit One calibration render: the sensor beside a standard double electrical socket faceplate (146 mm wide) and a credit card (85.6 mm long), on white, with dimensions marked. This lets anyone verify scale by eye against objects that appear in real room photos. A short README (one page is fine) stating the model's real dimensions, the millimetres-per-pixel value of the library, the file naming scheme, and how to composite: place, scale against a known object in the target photo, add the shadow pass, match colour temperature. Consistent, machine-readable file names, for example essence_wall_yaw+045_elev-20_neutral_beauty.png and ..._shadow.png. Design fidelity — please read Match the supplied references exactly. Do not restyle, simplify or "improve" the product. In particular, no faceted or domed cap, no hexagonal or polygonal shapes, no vent slots or grilles, no camera lens or glass eye, no LED, no added logo or text, and no mounting bracket, arm, stalk, stand-off or swivel. The rear face mounts flush to the wall and the housing's own wedge provides the downward angle. Software Blender with Cycles is required, and the .blend scene file must be delivered so we can render further angles ourselves later. If you prefer to work in KeyShot, 3ds Max or Cinema 4D, that is fine for your own process, but the final scene must also be delivered working in Blender. Rights Work for hire. Full worldwide commercial rights transfer to us on final payment, including source files. No watermarks. Do not use third-party models, textures or HDRIs unless the licence permits commercial transfer, and tell us which you used. Milestones Model plus one test render. The cleaned model at real scale, and a single 45° neutral render with its shadow pass, for our approval before you batch the rest. Full library. All renders, turntable, compositing kit, source files. To apply, please answer Link two past jobs where you took manufacturer CAD to finished product renders. How do you output a separate contact-shadow pass on transparent alpha in Cycles? Will you deliver a working .blend scene file? (We need yes.) How would you guarantee every render shares the identical fixed real-world scale? Your fixed price and delivery time for the scope above. We’re a volunteer-run women's health charity, with a major event being held in Melbourne, Australia in 2027 - the Lipedema World Congress III which will be co-located with Lipoedema Australia Conference VII. Logos for both organisations already exist; we now need a cohesive, on-brand set of graphics and templates for marketing, documents, social media, and web use.
We’ve just announced the event and want to move quickly. We’re aiming to have the final brand kit and core templates completed by the end of September 2026 ready for registrations to launch. We’re looking for a brand/graphic designer who can: Take existing logos and brand notes and develop 2–3 initial concept directions for a broader visual identity/graphics system. Once we select/refine a direction, produce a full set of graphics and templates for: Marketing & print: one-pager/flyer, program/schedule layout, signage templates (e.g., A4/A3/poster), pull-up banner, name badge, certificate. Digital & web: website graphics (hero/header images, section dividers, icon set or graphic elements), email header/footers, presentation template (PowerPoint/Google Slides). Social media: a set of reusable templates (e.g., 15-20) for Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn (square, portrait, and landscape) for announcements, speakers, countdowns, quotes, stats, and calls-to-action. Document templates: letterhead, report/whitepaper cover and interior styles, fact sheet/infographic template. Provide all final files in editable formats (e.g., Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Canva or Figma) plus export-ready PNG/JPG/PDF as appropriate. Offer guidance on best practices for consistent use across channels (simple usage notes or a mini style guide). How we’d like to work Phase 1 – Concepts: 2–3 distinct concept directions (moodboard + sample graphics across key formats). Phase 2 – Refinement: We select one direction (or a hybrid) and refine based on feedback. Phase 3 – Production: Build out the full set of graphics and templates across all required formats. We value designers who are responsive, collaborative, and proactive, and who can both follow our brief and suggest improvements based on their expertise. Ideal experience Proven experience creating brand identity kits / graphic systems (not just logos). Strong portfolio of social media template sets and document/layout design. Experience working with not-for-profits, health organisations, or conferences/events. Familiarity with women’s health topics is a plus (or clear sensitivity to the space). Comfortable working with existing brand assets and extending them into a broader system. Timeline Project start: ASAP (mid-September 2026). Concept directions: within 5–7 days of kickoff. Final brand kit + core templates: by 30 September 2026. Ongoing support for additional assets may be available after this initial scope. Budget Please propose your fixed-price quote for the full scope above, or an hourly rate with an estimated total. We’re open to discussion based on experience and portfolio. We are a registered charity, and would appreciate any NFP discounts that you may be able to offer. To apply, please include A short note on why you’re a good fit for a nonprofit women’s health conference. Links to 2–3 relevant portfolio pieces (brand kits, template sets, or event graphics). Your proposed timeline and fee. Any questions you have about the brief.

I’m looking for a designer / brand strategist to help me build the full identity of a new motorcycle accessories brand launching in France.
This is a real project, not just a logo or a dropshipping store. I’m currently in China sourcing products, meeting factories and suppliers, working on packaging, logistics and the future physical store. The business will have both: * A real physical showroom / retail space in France * An online Shopify store The products will include things like: * Motorcycle auxiliary lights * Motorcycle CarPlay screens * Aluminum top cases * Side bags * Touring / adventure accessories * Other motorcycle lifestyle products I need someone who can help me build the brand from the beginning, not just execute a logo. At the moment, “Vice Moto” is one possible name, but I’m not fully committed to it. I’m open to better naming ideas if you think another direction would be stronger. What I’m looking for: * Brand naming ideas * Brand positioning * Creative direction / moodboard * 2–3 different visual directions * Main logo * Secondary logo / icon / monogram * Color palette * Typography * Full visual identity * Brand guidelines / mini brand book * Packaging direction * Store / showroom visual direction * Storefront / signage direction * Basic visual direction for Shopify and social media The identity needs to work in many places: * Small laser engraving on products * Product packaging * Website * Instagram / TikTok * Clothing / merchandise * Physical showroom * Exterior store signage * Shopping bags / printed material For the visual style, I like something premium, modern and automotive/motorcycle focused. Some references / directions I like: * Modern American custom motorcycle garages * Premium automotive culture * A subtle Benny’s / GTA / Vice City / Miami influence * Dark concrete / industrial architecture * Clean modern furniture * Good lighting * Subtle neon * Motorcycles displayed almost like art pieces * A lifestyle / community atmosphere The important thing is that it stays refined. I do NOT want: * Generic red and black motorcycle branding * Skulls, flames or cliché biker graphics * Something that looks cheap * A basic dropshipping-style identity * Too much neon * Something overly aggressive I want the brand to feel strong, recognizable, premium and modern, but still accessible. The physical store is also important. I’m currently looking for companies in China to manufacture the interior furniture, display walls, counter, lighting and storefront, so the branding you create will later be used directly for the real shop design. I would like to work with someone who understands that the goal is to build a long-term brand and not just deliver a logo file. Please send me: * Examples of complete branding projects you have done * Any automotive, motorcycle, fashion, streetwear or retail branding experience * Your process * What you would include in the project * Your estimated timeline * Your price Also, please be transparent about AI. I don’t mind if AI is used as a tool for research, moodboards or ideation, but I do not want to pay for a project that is mainly AI-generated. I want real design work, original thinking and proper final files. Final files should ideally include vector formats such as AI / EPS / SVG / PDF, plus all brand assets needed for print and digital use. Budget: around €200–500 depending on experience, scope and quality. If the collaboration goes well, there may also be future work for packaging, website visuals, social media content and store design.

Final Handover • Organized, editable source files for all approved work. • Vector logo files in AI/SVG/PDF and transparent PNG exports. • Print-ready packaging and collateral files following manufacturer specifications. • Editable social templates in an agreed format. • Animation source files and final exports. • Brand guidelines PDF. • Font details and a list of any third-party assets and licensing requirements. Working Process Please structure your proposal around these milestones: 1. Creative direction. 2. Logo and core identity. 3. Wardrobe-box structure and visual design. 4. Logo animation and launch templates. 5. Prototype feedback, final production files, and handover. The identity will be finalized in coordination with Noura’s approved design. Packaging dimensions will be finalized after product measurements and manufacturer input are available. Include three consolidated revision rounds for the selected logo/identity direction and specify revision allowances for packaging and animation. Ideal Candidate • Strong consumer-brand identity and typography portfolio. • Relevant children’s fashion, toys, gifting, or lifestyle experience. • Demonstrated packaging production knowledge. • Ability to deliver professional logo animation, directly or through a named collaborator. • Arabic design capability or a clear plan for qualified Arabic support. • Ability to coordinate with our character illustrator and packaging manufacturer. Originality & Ownership All custom designs must be original. Please disclose AI use and third-party assets. Final approved custom work and editable source files must transfer to us upon full payment, with any third-party license limitations identified in advance. Please Include in Your Proposal 1. Two or three relevant branding projects and your exact role. 2. At least one packaging example showing structure and finished production, if available. 3. Examples of logo animation. 4. An itemized fixed-price quote covering each scope. 5. Your timeline and availability. 6. Which work you complete personally and which requires collaborators. 7. Any exclusions, additional costs, or information needed from us. We are looking for a creative partner who can establish a consistent foundation for Dunyella’s launch and future growth.

Industrial Designer for Premium Aluminum Home Air Freshener Pod (CAD/DFM)
Applied
|
not specified | 20 hours ago |
5
|
||
|
**Compensation: Open to negotiating based on relevant experience
We are seeking an Industrial Designer / Mechanical Engineer to create the initial CAD models and manufacturing blueprints for a premium, wall-mounted aluminum air freshener pod designed for home use. The primary goal of this project is to design a high-end, minimalist metal enclosure that is highly optimized for low-cost, efficient manufacturing. We want to achieve a luxury aesthetic while keeping machine cycle times and tooling costs as low as possible. The pod must maximize passive airflow to the internal scent medium - there is no battery, fan, or electronic component of any kind. Key Design Requirements 1. Two-Piece Assembly The system must be limited strictly to two main components - a Main Lid and a Pod Base - to minimize production complexity and assembly cost. 2. 360° Floating Shadow Gap (Primary Airflow Path) To avoid the cost of machining radial slits or drilling ventilation holes, the front face of the lid stays completely solid. Airflow and scent diffusion are achieved entirely through a continuous perimeter gap created by the lid sitting proud of the base by roughly 2–3mm, forming a hidden 360-degree airway. This gap is the pod's only functional airflow path, so its width directly controls fragrance release rate and product lifespan - too wide and the pod under-delivers on our 60+ day duration target; too narrow and scent won't reach the room. Please prototype with an adjustable or swappable spacer so the gap can be tested in 0.5mm increments (e.g. 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3mm) before we lock dimensions for die-cast tooling. 3. Lid & Closure Mechanism - Design a cost-effective Quarter-Turn Twist Lock (bayonet-style) closure for easy refill swapping. We do not want a rubber O-ring in this design. Because the shadow gap is an intentional, permanent leak path by design, a fully airtight seal elsewhere isn't functionally necessary - and a separate elastomer part adds sourcing cost, an assembly step, and a fragrance-compatibility requirement (standard nitrile/EPDM can swell or degrade under prolonged fragrance-oil exposure, requiring a pricier compound like Viton/FKM). Instead, use a tight-tolerance machined metal-to-metal interface at the bayonet joint (external groove/shoulder on the base neck, avoiding expensive internal undercuts inside the lid) - precise enough to keep the unit stable and closed during shipping and handling, without a separate seal component. 4. Rear Mounting Plate - Flat, No Airflow Function The back of the aluminum base plate must be completely solid, with no holes or open channels. Because the back sits flush against the wall (secured by a stretch-release pull-tab adhesive strip), there is no meaningful airflow behind the pod regardless of geometry - any venting or "scoop" feature on the back would risk fragrance leaking into the gap behind the plate instead of the room, wasting product life for no benefit. Keep the back flat and simple. A shallow recessed channel to cleanly conceal the adhesive strip is fine for a clean look, but it serves a cosmetic/mounting purpose only - it has no airflow function. All airflow design effort should go into the front shadow gap, since that's the only surface actually exposed to room air. 5. Scent System - Interchangeable Test Formats Size the interior chamber as a shallow, flat cavity able to hold either of two interchangeable insert formats for prototype testing: A flat EVA polymer scent card A flat gypsum or ceramic diffusion disc These two formats may differ in thickness, so include a simple interior shelf or shim system so the chamber depth can be adjusted to seat either insert snugly, without redesigning the housing or cutting a new tool. No custom refill tooling is required at this stage - the goal is a flexible test fixture we can iterate on, not a finished refill SKU. 6. Manufacturing Path Optimize the housing for CNC prototyping (Stage 1) with a seamless transition to aluminum die-casting (Stage 2) by incorporating proper draft angles and uniform wall thicknesses from day one. 7. Target an overall pod diameter of approximately 3.5 inches (89mm). The interior chamber should house a thicker ceramic flat disc (roughly 2.5–2.75" diameter, exact size at designer's discretion) sized for higher fragrance-oil capacity via added thickness rather than added diameter - this keeps the visible footprint compact while still hitting the 60+ day duration target. Leave adequate radial wall margin around the disc cavity (housing wall + bayonet twist-lock groove + shadow gap mechanism), and confirm minimum wall thickness against aluminum die-casting constraints before finalizing. 8. I have attached mockups of the product but I am open to suggestions on design etc based on maximizing passive air flow while remaining luxurious and premium in appeal. Deliverables 1. Initial 2D concept sketches/ideations for the perimeter shadow gap and interior insert-swap mechanism 2. A small set of CNC prototype variants testing at least 3 different shadow-gap widths for airflow/release-rate tuning 3. Production-ready 3D CAD models (STEP/IGES formats) 4. Photo-realistic product renderings for manufacturer reference 5. Basic engineering drawings with material callouts (Aluminum 6061-T6, Anodized finish) Preferred Qualifications - Proven portfolio in consumer hardware, cosmetic packaging, or lifestyle accessories - Deep understanding of CNC machining, lathe turning, and aluminum die-casting constraints - Experience designing bayonet/twist-lock closures and tight-tolerance metal-to-metal seals (no rubber O-ring required for this project) If you are interested, please share your portfolio highlighting relevant physical product or metal enclosure designs.

I am looking for an experienced Home Designer Pro / Chief Architect residential drafter to create an accurate, editable model of my existing 3,265 sq. ft. two-story home.
I already have professionally prepared DWG architectural/as-built files, PDF drawings, dimensions, and photographs documenting the existing house. I am not looking for redesign or remodeling services at this stage. The goal is to create an accurate existing-conditions/as-built master model that I can open in Home Designer 2027, preserve as my existing-house reference, and duplicate for an extensive future remodel. BUDGET & MILESTONES Project Type: Fixed Price Posted Budget: $800 The budget is flexible for the right Chief Architect / Home Designer specialist with strong residential as-built experience. Please review the project scope and supplied DWG/PDF files and provide your fixed-price quote if your estimate differs. Milestone 1 — Model Setup & Compatibility Test — $150 Create the initial project using the supplied DWG/PDF information, establish the basic floor/foundation structure, and model enough of the house to verify the workflow and file compatibility. This milestone should confirm: Correct DWG scale and alignment Correct main-floor reference elevation Garage floor approximately 4 inches below the main finished floor Basic exterior wall configuration Basic foundation/floor-platform setup Confirmation that the sample .plan file opens correctly in Home Designer 2027 I will open the supplied test .plan file in Home Designer 2027 before authorizing the remaining modeling work. Milestone 2 — Complete Existing-Conditions Model — $350 Complete the full existing/as-built residential model, including: Foundation/slab First and second floors Exterior and interior walls Correct wall thicknesses and construction Floor and ceiling heights Doors and door swings Windows Garage and garage doors Stairs Roof geometry Room definitions Major exterior architectural features shown in the supplied drawings The model must be built as a native, editable Chief Architect/Home Designer model, not simply as imported CAD geometry. Milestone 3 — Corrections, Final Files & Handoff — $300 Make reasonable corrections required to accurately match the supplied as-built information and provide the completed project. Final deliverables: Redriver_EXISTING_MASTER.plan Redriver_REMODEL_WORKING.plan Supporting CAD/reference files, if required Clean and organized CAD/reference layers Written summary of important floor, foundation, ceiling, and wall settings Short screen share or recorded walkthrough explaining the model setup Final payment will be released after I confirm that: The .plan file opens properly in Home Designer 2027 Major dimensions and elevations match the supplied as-built drawings First and second floors align correctly The garage/main-house elevation relationship is correct Doors, windows, stairs, walls, and roof geometry are reasonably accurate The model is clean and suitable for duplication and future remodeling work SCOPE OF WORK Using the supplied DWG files, PDF drawings, dimensions, and photographs, create a native Chief Architect/Home Designer model accurately representing the existing house. The model should include, to the extent documented in the supplied information: Foundation/slab configuration and elevations Main-house and garage floor elevations First and second floors Correct floor-to-floor heights Correct ceiling heights Exterior wall construction and thicknesses Interior wall thicknesses Brick veneer and other exterior wall conditions Doors and correct door swings Windows Garage doors Existing staircase Roof geometry and pitches Room definitions Major exterior architectural features Properly scaled and aligned DWG reference information Clean, accurate 2D and 3D geometry The garage slab is approximately 4 inches below the main interior finished-floor level, so correct floor-platform and foundation setup is particularly important. The completed model must be built using native Chief Architect/Home Designer objects, including walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, stairs, and rooms—not merely imported or traced CAD lines. REQUIRED DELIVERABLES Redriver_EXISTING_MASTER.plan Clean master file accurately representing the house as it exists today. Redriver_REMODEL_WORKING.plan Identical working copy that I can modify for remodeling without affecting the existing-condition master. Any supporting CAD/reference files required for the project. Clean and logically organized CAD/reference layers. Brief written summary of important model settings, including: Foundation/floor structure Floor elevations Ceiling heights Wall definitions Any unusual settings or assumptions Short screen share or recorded walkthrough explaining the completed model and important settings I should understand before modifying it. HOME DESIGNER 2027 COMPATIBILITY I use Home Designer 2027. The final .plan files must open successfully and remain editable within the capabilities of Home Designer 2027. Chief Architect X18 is preferred. Other Chief Architect/Home Designer versions are acceptable if the final .plan file opens correctly and remains editable in Home Designer 2027. Before beginning the full project, I would like to perform a small compatibility test. The selected freelancer should provide a small sample .plan file so I can confirm that it opens correctly in Home Designer 2027 before proceeding with the complete model. Please do not save the final project in a newer file format that cannot be reopened in Home Designer 2027. PLEASE INCLUDE WITH YOUR PROPOSAL Please answer the following: Which version of Chief Architect or Home Designer do you currently use? Have you created existing-condition/as-built residential models from DWG or PDF architectural drawings? Please provide examples of actual Chief Architect/Home Designer models, plan views, or screenshots. I am more interested in accurate construction models than photorealistic renderings. Describe your experience importing, scaling, aligning, and tracing architectural DWG files. Can you create the model using native Chief Architect/Home Designer walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, stairs, and room definitions? What is your fixed-price quote? Approximately how many hours do you expect the project to require? What is your estimated completion time after receiving all project files? Can you provide a short screen share or recorded walkthrough at completion? Please specifically mention experience with residential remodels, existing-condition models, or as-built documentation. Generic architectural or rendering portfolios without Chief Architect/Home Designer experience are less relevant for this project.
