- Desktop monitor stands will be removed. Monitors go on clamp-mounted arms, so no monitor feet occupy the desk surface

I am open to different arrangements of these two monitors (side by side, primary centred with the portrait offset, or the portrait placed on a different section of the desk). Please treat the arrangement as a design decision, not a given.


SPEAKERS - PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY

Two active bookshelf speakers will be added: KEF LSX II LT, 240 x 155 x 180 mm (height x width x depth) each, approximately 3.4 kg each.

Requirements:

- Placed symmetrically around the primary monitor
- Speaker centres roughly 80 to 100 cm apart
- Tweeters at seated ear height, both angled toward the listening position
- Symmetry must be measured relative to the listener's head, not to the desk edges. The current diagonal corner position puts the two sides at different distances from two different walls, which is the core problem
- Wall-mounted speaker placement is acceptable and may well be the better solution, so please consider it
- One speaker needs mains power, the two speakers connect to each other by cable, and one cable runs to the PC. These runs should be planned, not left as an afterthought
