A parent landing on our page should instantly understand that these leggings work for riding, yes, but also for every other part of her daughter's active life. That realisation is what justifies the premium price point and what turns a visitor into a buyer.
We believe this crossover positioning is what will unlock serious growth. Getting it right on the website is the foundation everything else is built on.
The Opportunity
Our current conversion rate is significantly below industry standard and we know exactly why. This isn't a traffic problem. It's a persuasion problem. The copy is generic, imagery is flat, CTAs are inconsistent, and the crossover lifestyle angle is entirely absent. A specialist who fixes every touchpoint and truly understands and champions this crossover vision could realistically deliver a major revenue increase without increasing traffic.
Key Deliverables

Homepage repositioning. The hero section must lead with the crossover angle immediately. A parent who has never heard of horse riding leggings should land on this page and think "these are made for my daughter." New direction: "Ride. Run. Play. Premium legwear designed for every adventure." The crossover message must be unmissable from the first scroll.
Product page overhaul. Transform bullet-point feature lists into benefit-led copy that speaks to every type of active girl, not just riders. Address real parent anxieties around slipping, transparency, washability, and value. The product descriptions should make a parent feel that these leggings belong in every part of her daughter's week.
Visual integration strategy. The site currently lives entirely in the stable. We need it to live everywhere. Advise on and implement lifestyle imagery covering school runs, playground, sports training, and casual wear alongside the riding context. Each product colour should anchor to a different lifestyle moment, making the crossover feel natural and intentional rather than forced.
UX and CTA standardisation. Audit and fix all CTAs site-wide. Replace any confusing text with clear, consistent actions: "Add to Cart," "Buy Now," "Shop Leggings." Streamline navigation and checkout flow so nothing interrupts a parent who is ready to buy.
"Beyond the Saddle" section. This is a core piece of the crossover strategy. Design and build a dedicated homepage section or collection page that speaks directly to non-equestrian active girls covering dance, athletics, casual wear, and outdoor play. This section should feel like a natural extension of the brand, not an afterthought. Messaging: "Built for busy girls. Approved by busy parents."
Ad-ready site cohesion. We will be driving Instagram and Facebook traffic shortly. Every page a paid visitor lands on must consistently reflect the crossover angle. The messaging, visuals, and flow must feel seamless from ad click to checkout.

Must-Have Skills
Proven Shopify experience with theme customisation, Liquid templating, and performance optimisation.
