Hi I need an engineer to help answer a few questions form my timber company. You will need to review truss layout and timber wall frames and answer some questions. The questions are below There are a couple of inconsistencies in the 2 roof layouts from Improbuild and K&B that need to be worked out. I have followed the K&B as it works best and some of the trusses in Improbuild don’t design. Things to confirm with Improbuild. The raised ceiling beams are all 300 x 45lvl but lounge wants raised ceiling 450mm in from walls. This does not fit. Either it needs to 600mm like the Living raised ceiling or it needs to be a lower raised ceiling. K&B are using the centre raised ceiling beam in the Living as load bearing. (note this is the only raised beam which supports trusses ) Can you check with improbuild if this is ok( I have used it in my layout and it really does need to be ). It is hard to tell on improbuild layouts and there are no raised beam designs I can see. I have used the Living alfresco wall to support the 2 raised beams in the Living. Need to confirm 42mm bearing is ok with Improbuild. There is a different set up of the raised beams in the Lounge from the K&B and Improbuild roof layouts. I have used K&B as it works. That means the screen shots I received are of the private financial records for possibly DOZENS of corporations. Combined, these are possibly criminal offenses. At the least, every company's data has been breached by Carl. All so he could make an extra $200 a week from a client...in my opinion, fraudulantly. I warned Carl that I would contact each company, provide them screen shots so they could see the proof, contact the CPA association and his state attorney's general office...rather than try to rectify this problem, he canceled the contract. I don't think he gets it yet...this is not a problem he can hide from. In my opinion, you'd be placing your company in serious jeopardy by hiring Carl. He took a 5 hour project with my company and managed to stretch it out for nearly 5 months and bill us over 40 hours. And, in doing so, he compromised the data for dozens of clients that trusted him. Now, I've studied a bit of psychology. And this is usually where a sociopath engages in the following: 1: Gaslighting. 2: The Jenga Attack. If they can poke a single hole in an argument somewhere they think it knocks the entire tower over. 3: An accusation of impoliteness. This is a classic sociopath move. You accuse them of criminal behavior and they accuse you of losing your temper. As if, we owe it to a thief to be gentle and polite when they break into our home! 4: Some kind of deflection about things they did in the past that might have been good (but probably not provable) like "You can't talk about me like this! I'm a vet!" or "When I was eight I saved a puppy!" What a sociopath won't do? Apologize and make amends. So, I'm going to be working very hard to help all the companies that have been betrayed by Carl. In addition, the project had a simpler solution but we deliberately suggested a brute-force method to test her ability to find a better, faster way to do the project. We simultaneously hired a second applicant and did the same thing. The other applicant immediately found the faster solution. Joan stuck with the brute force method, which is probably 30X slower. When we asked about why she was only working 1 hour a day, her response was "I had personal issues." But, when someone accepts a new job, they need to do the job.
