1. Viral Trend Research (90%)



Spend your days researching Instagram to uncover emerging viral trends across all niches imaginable (fitness, business, motivation, theme pages, personal brands, guys pages, girl pages, religion/faith pages, meme pages, and dozens of other niches not mentioned here)

Track and analyze at least 100+ posts per day.

Identify commonalities between the highest-performing content: hooks, pacing, visuals, style, tone, etc.

Organize findings and document key insights clearly for fast execution.

Prioritize content that gets at least a 10:1 view-to-follower ratio.


2. Scripting & Application (10%)



Take the top viral trends and apply them to Richard’s personal brand (Christian entrepreneur, business content).

Write basic scripts, video outlines, and hook ideas.

Break down your ideas in a simple, repeatable format Richard can film directly from.

Collaborate with our internal content team to make sure your ideas align with the brand voice and goals.

I am a software entrepreneur with a few things cooking and plenty more ready to ignite. I built several businesses before venturing into the saas world 6 years ago. With two co-founders/mentors, we built a B2B heavy hitting enterprise software. That business is still thriving and I have since moved on.

I then started an ecommerce company that is now 4 years old and has a team of 25 to support it. We are scaling rapidly.

I then started building some internal tools to support the ecommerce brand, which has turned into it's own company. The internal tools used for my brand are now being packaged into a saas for other brands to use. This is the project you'll be working on! We are around 6 months in of focused work. Production is currently being used heavily by one client (my ecommerce brand lol).

- Who's on the team?
I have brought on a fractional CTO to help with day to day. We have a full-time designer and project manager, 1 full time full stack developer, and a few contractors who pop in and out depending on the feature. Also a manual QA team member.

- What can you expect?
Day in and day out you will be able to clock in a full 8 hours. We have months and months of development work that is lined out, designed, and ready to be picked up. You'll work closely with current team and project manager to implement designs.

- Development Workflows
You need to be very familiar with agile development. Your work, when pushed, needs to have detailed PR notes + testing methods for another engineer to test before merging. After quick testing in a staging environment your work will be pushed to production. Unit tests will be more and more frequent, although we do not utilize them as much now.

- What you're solving
You are going to be helping our clients build better creatives for their ecommerce brand. Right now, we're focused on workflows to help brands compile their creative assets and deploy them. Soon enough, we'll be working on exciting AI enhancements. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of features - sms, email, api integrations, AI chatbot, AI text enhancements, and (what I'm most excited for) text to video ads.

- How much work should you expect?
If you are hired, there will be a steady amount of work. 8 Hours per day, U.S. work hours. At least a few months of work as long as our work styles and output is compatible. Each day you "check in" with a message on what you'll be working on and then "check out" with lsit of what you accomplished. We don't believe in annoying meetings unless we need to meet. 98% of the time slack chats and loom videos will accomplish what we need.

- Technology
We have been a MERN stack up until just about right now. We're migrating our backend to Payload CMS and that will be one of your very first projects that you'll work on with the team. We will be transitioning our Frontend to the new Payload BE. You don't need to be familiar with Payload but bonus if you are. We integrate heavily with Meta api and will be expanding to include tiktok, snapchat, pinterest, and linkedin very shortly. Please call out if you are familiar with these API's and detail the work you have done.
