I am looking for a senior PR and publicity specialist to help me build visibility and momentum across three interconnected areas:

1. Book launch PR for my upcoming book: Our Existential Advantage: Human Leadership in the Age of Intelligent Machines (publishing on Amazon KDP)
2. Speaker bookings to establish and grow my career as a paid professional keynote speaker at conferences, corporate events, and leadership summits
3. Media presence — securing consistent coverage, podcast appearances, interviews, and thought leadership placements in business, leadership, AI, HR, and future of work media

These three areas reinforce each other and should be treated as one integrated PR strategy. This is not a one-off campaign. I am looking for someone to build something sustained and strategic.

SCOPE OF WORK

The right person will own the following responsibilities:

1. Book launch PR campaign
- Develop and execute a pre-launch, launch, and post-launch PR plan for the book
- Secure reviews, features, and coverage in business, leadership, HR, and AI-focused media
- Pitch the book to relevant journalists, editors, bloggers, and newsletter curators
- Coordinate advance review copies (ARCs) outreach to influencers, thought leaders, and media contacts
- Pursue bulk sale and endorsement opportunities with corporate partners and professional associations
- Track and report on coverage and campaign results

2. Speaker booking and positioning
- Research, identify, and pitch speaking opportunities at conferences, corporate events, leadership summits, HR and AI industry events, and executive forums — both in the United States and internationally
- Draft and send speaker proposal pitches to event organizers and booking contacts
- Maintain a tracking system for all outreach, follow-ups, and booked engagements
- Support the development of speaker one-sheets, pitch decks, and topic descriptions as needed (in collaboration with me)
- Build and maintain a list of speaker bureaus to approach as the speaking profile grows

3. Media and thought leadership placements
- Secure podcast interview appearances on shows focused on AI, leadership, the future of work, HR, organizational strategy, and business
- Pitch op-eds, bylined articles, and contributed pieces to relevant publications (Forbes, Fast Company, Harvard Business Review, HR Dive, SHRM, Wired, and similar)
- Identify and pursue guest expert opportunities (TV segments, radio, YouTube channels, newsletters, online summits)
- Build and maintain a media contact list relevant to my topic areas
- Develop a consistent pitching calendar to maintain regular media presence

4. Strategy and reporting
- Develop an integrated 90-day PR plan at the start of the engagement
- Provide a weekly or bi-weekly activity and results report
- Track all outreach, placements, and bookings in a shared tracker
- Advise on positioning, messaging, and narrative as my public profile grows
