We are an engineering and project execution firm supporting power generation and infrastructure clients in the data center and mission-critical power market. We are the design engineer for a large power plant in Texas: gas turbine generation, battery energy storage (BESS), and the shared balance-of-plant systems that connect them. We need a licensed fire protection engineer to own the fire protection engineering for the plant, from design basis through the fire marshal / AHJ submittal and into construction support. This is hourly, execution-focused work inside our design team: you produce the fire protection studies, calculations, drawings and specifications; our mechanical, piping, electrical and civil disciplines provide the plot plans, equipment data, P&ID standards and CAD support. We value speed, accuracy and SME-level rigor. Your output goes directly into permit and construction packages sealed under a Texas PE.

Spring Vista Engineering, a New York-based civil engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Revit designer to prepare NYC Builders Pavement Plans (BPPs) and related civil/site drawings for DOB and DOT filings.

You will work from surveys, PE redlines, and markups to produce complete, filing-ready drawing sets. Typical work includes sidewalk and curb layouts, grades and spot elevations, street trees, existing utilities, applicable NYC DOT standard details, title block coordination, and agency revisions.

Our architectural permit set is complete and our interior selections are finalized by our interior designer. Scope of work:

Interior fixture coordination. Pull every interior fixture and finish selection into a single coordinated drawing set: plumbing fixtures, lighting, tile, stone, mirrors, hardware, and accessories. Resolve conflicts between the selections, the architectural plans, and the MEP drawings.

Selection verification. Review every selection and design element we provide and confirm it meets the drawing requirements before it goes into the set. Check dimensions, clearances, mounting and rough-in requirements, and fit with adjacent finishes, cabinetry, and openings. Document every conflict or non-conforming item with a recommended solution, and don't draw around a problem without flagging it.

Lighting layouts, including the master bathroom. Show fixture locations, mounting heights, spacing, and centerlines for sconces, vanity lights, pendants, and recessed lighting. Layer the lights by function (ambient, task, accent) using the selected fixtures, and dimension them relative to mirrors, vanities, and cabinetry.

Plumbing fixture heights and locations. Include shower valves and heads, hand showers, tub fillers, faucets, and toilets, coordinated with tile layouts and niches.

Mirrors. Specify sizes and product requirements for every mirror in the home: dimensions, framed or frameless, edge treatment, thickness, mounting method, and safety glazing where required. Coordinate each mirror with the vanity width, backsplash height, sconce locations, outlets, and medicine cabinets, and show them on elevations.

Non-cabinet hardware layouts. Produce layouts, mounting heights, and quantities for all hardware outside of cabinetry. This includes door levers, hinges, and stops; pocket and barn door hardware; towel bars, rings, and hooks; toilet paper holders; shower door hardware; grab bar blocking locations; and closet rods and shelving hardware.

Cabinet drafting onto the architectural plans. Take our existing cabinet design and draw it onto the architectural floor plans and interior elevations. Verify that it fits the actual wall dimensions, window and door openings, appliance locations, and plumbing and electrical rough-ins. Flag any conflicts before adjusting. The drawings should show box sizes, door and drawer configurations, fillers, panels, appliance integration, and hardware placement, detailed enough for a cabinet shop to bid and fabricate.

Material takeoffs. Produce quantity counts for tile, stone, flooring, trim, cabinetry, mirrors, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and all hardware, organized room by room. Include waste factors where appropriate.

Final fixture book. Produce and own the final fixture book for the home. It must list every selection room by room, with manufacturer, model number or SKU, finish or color, size, quantity, mounting height or location, supplier, and a product image or cut sheet. This is the single source of truth for trades, and it must match the drawings exactly.

Material count tracking. Keep material counts current for the life of the project. When a selection, layout, or drawing changes, update the takeoffs and the fixture book to match, and log each change with a date and description.

3D model and rendering prep. Build or finalize a 3D interior model with the actual selections applied, including materials, finishes, fixtures, mirrors, hardware, lighting, and cabinetry. Deliver it with a materials and texture package so a rendering artist can produce photorealistic images. Candidates who can also render are welcome but not required.

What we'll provide: The architectural plan set, MEP drawings, the existing cabinet design, interior design concept boards and selections, a material sourcing workbook, and a flooring takeoff.
