What you’ll do:
Your #1 goal: help clients win with SEO + GEO in ways that show up in rankings, traffic, and conversions.

You’ll lead client strategy and guide execution across technical SEO, content, linking, and CRO-focused recommendations. That means:
-Determine effective SEO + GEO strategies and set goals around keywords, pages, rankings, and conversions
-Lead SEO consulting projects end-to-end (create the plan, assisting the client in executing the plan, answer questions, keep it moving)
-Conduct comprehensive audits (technical, content, internal linking, and more)
-Deliver in-depth quarterly reporting: what moved, what didn’t, why, and exactly what we’re doing next
-Communicate clearly with our LinkOps team in Slack/Google Sheets about priorities (anchor text direction, target pages for link building, etc.)
-Show up prepared in client and prospect conversations, credible, clear, and quick on your feet

Expectations:
-Active in Slack and reasonably responsive (not instant, but ideally within 4 hours or next day if after business hours)
-Join 1–2 scheduled weekly team meetings, plus recurring client meetings
-Respond to client questions about strategy/site needs within ~24 hours
-Consistent availability during normal working hours in a US-based timezone (because recurring meetings are a thing)
-Be professional and great at SEO (no beginners: this is not a “learning on client time” situation)

Skills/Experience we’re looking for:
-5+ years of national SEO experience (agency or in-house; B2B SaaS/tech is a big plus)
-Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals: on-page, off-page, technical, content strategy, internal linking + and proven results
-Solid understanding of how link building works (even though you won’t be building links yourself)
-Comfortable with Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools including Ahrefs
-Excellent written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail
-Able to explain complex SEO topics in plain English (and be authoritative enough that clients trust you!)
-Reliable execution: if you say it will be done Thursday, it’s done Thursday
-Bonus: CRO/UX knowledge and experience with CRO tools

And yes, if you “truly love SEO” and stay on top of trends, be prepared to tell us your favorite AI visibility acronym. If you don’t have one, we’ll assign you one. Kidding. Mostly.
