THE ROLE
You own the concept all the way through. Research the angle, write detailed briefs, collaborate with editors on every cut, and stay with it until it's live and performing. Your job doesn't end when you hand off a script.
What you'll do:
Deep dive into competitor research and consumer psychology to find real angles
Write specific, detailed briefs that guide execution - not vague direction
Work closely with editors: review cuts, give feedback on pacing, text placement, b-roll relevance
Analyze performance when it launches and understand why it worked or didn't
Take learnings from each batch and improve the next one
You need:
Proven direct response copywriting experience at a high level
Meta cold traffic expertise - acknowledging what is currently working and applying that to your concepts
Advanced knowledge of consumer psychology, primal human psychology, belief systems etc.
The ability to accurately identify the winning (& losing) variables of your scripts and others, and be able to effectively apply those learnings in future.
Attention to detail across the entire production (not just the script)
Willingness to dig deep into research—hours of watching customer content to really understand them
Ownership: You're invested in the final product performing, not just in the idea being clever

Overview
We’re a fast-growing e-commerce beauty brand in the professional waxing space. We need someone who can create ad hooks and angles that actually stop the scroll—and turn them into a repeatable creative testing system for Meta + TikTok.
This is not a “make pretty ads” role. This is: strategy + hooks + iterations + performance feedback loops.
What we need help with
- Develop a hook/angle system for our top products (students + pros)
