We are conducting an academic study of how public biopharma information moves from scientific and regulatory sources into wider media coverage. We need one independent medical or regulatory expert to review a small blinded research packet before it is released to human coders.
This is a protocol-quality assignment within the same research pipeline, serving as an independent quality gate before Stage 2 coding. It is not stock picking, investment advice or market prediction. You must not search for or use stock prices, returns, later commercial outcomes, AI-generated ratings, or other coders' answers.
You will receive after a paid contract is opened:
- a rating manual;
- a packet containing 10 cases and 24 contemporaneous source items;
- a 10-row review CSV;
- a read-only source manifest and integrity hashes.
For each case, verify:
- clinical phase, endpoint and direction of the evidence;
- whether regulatory language is accurately distinguished (designation, advisory recommendation, submission, approval);
- whether the company has a direct economic interest in the asset;
- whether any source is truncated, ambiguous or medically misleading;
- whether the packet can be coded without later knowledge;
- any correction required before release.
Deliverables:
1. Completed 10-row medical-review CSV with all identifiers unchanged.
2. Concise evidence-based notes for every requested correction.
3. A signed statement confirming that no market outcomes, later commercial outcomes, AI-generated ratings or other coders' answers were consulted.
Do not assign F/A/N ratings and do not rewrite the source evidence unless a specific correction is documented. Payment is for a complete independent protocol review, not agreement with the project owner. This contract does not promise any later coding work.
Preferred qualifications:
- MD, PharmD, PhD in a biomedical field, or substantial regulatory/clinical development experience;
- experience interpreting clinical trials and FDA/EMA materials;
- strong written English;
- no participation in our earlier Stage 1 biopharma rating test.
Fixed price: US$125. Expected effort: 2–3 hours. Due within three calendar days after contract activation.
Please answer these screening questions in your proposal:
1. State your degree and the clinical-development, regulatory or evidence-review work most relevant to this assignment.
2. In two to four sentences, distinguish an FDA designation, an advisory committee recommendation, a marketing application submission and formal FDA approval.
3. Give one example of why a statistically significant biomarker result may not justify calling a trial clinically successful.
4. Confirm that you did not participate in our earlier biopharma blind-rating test and can avoid all stock-price, return and later-outcome information.
5. Confirm that you can preserve CSV identifiers and return the review within three calendar days.
Do not complete the review as part of your proposal. The packet will be provided only after a paid contract is opened.

I am applying for the Association for Applied and Clinical Sociology (AACS) Certified Clinical Sociologist (C.C.S.) credential and am looking for an experienced academic editor and formatter to help transform my draft into a polished, submission-ready application.

What I Need
My application is approximately 20–30 pages and includes:

Review my portfolio to ensure it aligns with AACS expectations.
Improve organization, flow, transitions, clarity, and readability while preserving my voice.
Strengthen the writing where appropriate to reflect doctoral-level professionalism.

Format the entire portfolio into a clean, cohesive, professional Microsoft Word document.
Create consistent heading styles, spacing, fonts, page numbers, and a table of contents.
Proofread for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency.

When Applying
Please include:
A brief description of your relevant experience.
Examples of similar academic or professional editing work.
Confirmation that you will review the AACS certification requirements before editing.
Your estimated turnaround time.
I'm looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail who can help me submit the strongest application possible.
Client's questions:
Describe your recent experience with similar projects
Please list any certifications related to this project
How do you incorporate feedback and edits into your work?
How do you know when your writing has been successful?
I need several research papers translated with absolute technical accuracy while keeping the original academic tone intact. The source files are well-structured, and I expect the target versions to mirror that structure—figures, tables, references, and in-text citations must remain consistent.
Because these are research papers rather than general articles, the work demands a translator who is comfortable with field-specific terminology, can verify units, formulas, and jargon, and is able to flag any ambiguous passages for clarification instead of guessing. Please keep all headings, numbered sections, and reference styles exactly as in the source; only the narrative text should change language.
Deliverables
• A clean, publication-ready translation of each paper in the same file format as received
• A short terminology list for any specialised terms that required extra research
• A change-tracked copy highlighting anything you needed to query
I will share one paper first as a trial; once its quality is approved, the remaining files will follow under the same standards and timeline.

I want to build an AI-driven knowledge-discovery platform focused on one rare disease. Essentially this would become a custom "medical intelligence" platform for a rare form of leukemia called T-PLL.
This is not a diagnostic or treatment application and is not intended to provide medical advice. It is an AI-assisted research and surveillance platform whose purpose is to dramatically reduce the chance of missing important developments in research, clinical trials, or emerging therapies. Ideally, the platform would automatically search multiple public data sources on a scheduled basis, eliminate duplicate or low-value information, classify new findings by relevance (e.g., clinical trials, new publications, biotechnology developments, conference abstracts, investigator activity, etc.), maintain a searchable historical database, and generate weekly intelligence reports highlighting only meaningful changes.
Core functions
The platform has to 1) pull full-text research papers, conference abstracts, clinical-trial registry entries, biotech company announcements, major cancer-center press releases, and even relevant YouTube presentations, 2) extract structured data points (study design, cohort size, endpoints, biomarkers, funding source, etc.) with high accuracy, and 3) produce automated literature-review briefs that highlight trends and gaps. It should run these tasks on a schedule and push notifications when new material appears.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex information management problems, can recommend the best technical approach rather than simply following instructions, and is interested in building a robust research assistant. I am not a researcher, a software engineer or even involved in the industry.
This entire project is to help my dad who was recently diagnosed with this disease and I need more power in my searches.
I am told by my own ChatGPT research that "this would involve a Python stack and leverage current NLP/LLM tooling (e.g., transformers, LangChain, GPT-4, spaCy), PDF parsing utilities, and APIs such as PubMed, CrossRef, ClinicalTrials.gov, and YouTube Data API. A vector store (Pinecone, FAISS, or similar) for semantic search plus a lightweight web dashboard or Streamlit front end will keep things user-friendly."
Deliverables
• Crawling & ingestion pipeline covering all stated sources
• Information-extraction module with clearly defined JSON/CSV schema
• Automatic literature-review generator with citation linking
• Real-time monitoring/alert service (email or Slack)
• Web interface for search, filter, and export
• Dockerised codebase with setup docs and a short demo video
Acceptance criteria
The system must capture at least 90 % of new items relevant to the disease and experimental or trial treatments, correctly extract the required data needed to track them, and generate a readable, reference-linked review on a regular basis (weekly or more frequently).
Please outline your approach, and a rough timeline so we can move straight to milestones.
