This is not original data collection. It is a rigorous check-and-publish role for meta-analytic work that has already been pre-structured.

Scope of Work

There will be three meta-analysis papers in total, all in the broad area of epidemiology / endocrinology (e.g., refractory hypothyroidism and related clinical outcomes).

For each paper, your responsibilities will be:

1. Review & Verification (from our structured outputs)

- Review the summarized evidence and structured scoring (already produced by our team using ACH-style methods).

- Confirm that every claim, effect size, and citation actually appears in the underlying source papers.

- Verify that inclusion/exclusion criteria and analytic choices are consistent with standard meta-analysis practice and preprint server requirements.

2. Manuscript Drafting (Meta-Analysis Write-Up)

- Draft a full meta-analysis manuscript: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Limitations, and Conclusion.

- Ensure the text clearly describes the methodology, without overstating the strength or novelty of the work (this is a preprint, not an original RCT).

3. Preprint Submission & Iteration

- Prepare and submit the manuscript to medRxiv or bioRxiv under agreed authorship arrangements.

- Handle submission forms, declarations, and any server-specific requirements.

- If the preprint server requests clarifications or minor changes, work with us to make those adjustments within the allotted hours.

- If you believe the material does not meet the standards of a specific preprint server, you must:

* Clearly explain why (with reference to that server’s guidelines), and

* Work with us (within a capped number of additional hours) to adjust framing and methodology so it can be brought into compliance where realistically possible.

Hours, Structure, and Milestones

Per paper:

- Up to 30 billable hours for:

* Reviewing our outputs
* Verifying citations and consistency
* Drafting the manuscript
* Submitting to a preprint server

- Up to an additional 40 billable hours total across all papers (shared) only if you identify methodological concerns that must be addressed to meet preprint server standards and agree to help us adjust accordingly.

Total project:

3 papers → ~90 hours baseline, plus up to 40 extra hours for methodology/standards work if needed.

Timeline:

- Our ACH-based summarization and scoring pipeline is expected to be ready by the first week of February.

- Work on the first paper should begin as soon as that dataset is ready.

- Goal is to move efficiently from dataset → manuscript → preprint submission for each paper, with a strong preference for timely turnaround.
