We're a mental health resource and matching platform. We help people with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD understand alternative treatment options ~ TMS, Spravato (esketamine), and ketamine therapy ~ and connect with vetted partner clinics that provide them.

We are not a clinic and we don't deliver care. We publish research-backed educational content for patients who have usually already failed two or more antidepressants and are trying to figure out what comes next.

What the role involves

You'd review blog articles, condition pages, and treatment pages before publication, then sign off with a "Medically reviewed by [Your Name, Credential]" byline that appears near the top of the page.

Review means flagging, not rewriting. Specifically, we need you to verify:

FDA status is stated accurately for each specific treatment and condition pairing
Cited studies and statistics are represented correctly and not overstated
Side effects, contraindications, and "who this isn't for" information is complete
Language hedges appropriately and never implies a cure or guaranteed outcome
Nothing reads as clinical advice that should come from a treating provider

Comments and corrections come back to us in writing. Our editorial team makes the changes and returns the piece to you for final sign-off.

Volume and timeline

We have ~180 blogs that all need to be medically reviewed. We would like to complete these within a month's time. We will also be posting ~8 pieces per month, roughly 500-1500 words each. For recurring work, We're looking for a 2-business-day turnaround per piece. This is an ongoing relationship, not a one-off project.

Abstract to Manuscript

Feasibility of Prolonged Manual Ventilation

Abstract
IntroductionProlonged field care may require manual ventilation to be performed for long periods of time, but the
feasibility of prolonged ventilation is not well described. This study examined the viability of prolonged manual
ventilation by assessing the performance of participants squeezing a manual resuscitation bag for 8 hours, with
and without an FDA-approved flow-limiting valve.Materials and Methods90 adult subjects with and without BLS
certifications performed manual ventilation for up to 8 hours. A standard adult resuscitator bag with a disposable air flow
sensor recording flow. Peak pressures were measured by an integrated digital pressure
sensor Analog Microelectronics. Half the participants were randomized to using a
flow-limiting device (Sotair, SafeBVM) which was attached to the bag. Half the participants were also randomized
to a low-compliance condition lung, and the other half to a normal compliance lung. Subjects were instructed to
target 500mL tidal volume and 12 breaths per minute. To assess the impact of a timing device, a metronome set
to 12 beats/minute was provided for the second four hours of ventilation. Participants filled out fatigue scales at
the end of each hour.ResultsNone of the 90 participants stopped the study because of fatigue or injury. With and
without Sotair there was a significant trend towards more fatigue over time on both the Modified Borg Scale Rate
of Perceived Exertion and the Samn-Perelli Fatigue Checklist There was no significant difference in either
fatigue scale between the group who used Sotair and the group that did not. A multivariate regression analysis of
minute ventilation demonstrated significant effects with respect to time, presence of a metronome, and use of
Sotair; compliance and having BLS certification were not statistically significant.ConclusionsTo our knowledge
this represents the largest quantitative data set examining prolonged ventilation. This study suggests that
prolonged manual ventilation is viable, and that even minimally trained personnel can provide manual ventilation
for prolonged periods of time. Increasing fatigue over 8 hours of ventilation was expected; no participants had to
stop because of fatigue.

Scope
A comprehensive literature search. This is a priority for me, not a formality. Treat the reference list in the draft as a starting point rather than a finished list - I want the published literature swept independently for everything relevant to this case, and the list built out accordingly. That means supporting evidence, comparable prior reports, anything bearing on how novel the findings are, and any work that complicates or contradicts the argument. I'd rather know about an inconvenient paper now than hear about it from a reviewer.
Verify every citation in the final list against the primary source - authors, year, journal, volume, pages, DOI - confirming each one genuinely supports the claim it's attached to
Write the case report end to end from the material provided
Construct the figures from source data; prepare the tables
Format to the target journal's author guidelines, draft the cover letter, and assemble the upload-ready file set
Stay with it through submission rather than handing off partway

Timeline is two and a half to three weeks from kickoff. All materials are in hand and we can start immediately.

Budget is fixed-price, structured in milestones. I'll share the specific milestones, files, and journal details with candidates I shortlist - at this stage I mainly want to see relevant prior work and confirm availability.
