We are looking for an expert video podcast editor to take studio-recorded conversations from raw footage to polished, upload-ready content.
This is a pilot of four episodes, generally 45–60 minutes each. Footage may be single-camera or multi-camera, so please be comfortable with multicam syncing and clean, natural camera switching where applicable.
For each episode, the deliverables are:
• One polished horizontal podcast episode - the master file
• From that master, we clip five vertical videos for Shorts, Reels and LinkedIn, with strong hooks and burned-in captions
• From that master, four additional YouTube/search-focused horizontal clips selected for discoverability and retention. These are 1 to 2 minutes long.
• One strong thumbnail concept per episode
• Audio cleanup, colour correction, pacing, branded intro/outro where assets are provided, captions/subtitles and export-ready files
Please apply with:
• 2–3 relevant long-form podcast or YouTube examples
• Examples of short-form clips repurposed from a longer episode
• Your usual workflow for single- and multi-camera podcast editing
• Your estimated turnaround for one episode
• Your hourly rate and a fixed-price quote for the initial three-episode batch
Hey! I'm looking for a video editor to help out on a recurring basis.
About the work:
- I run branded content under a monthly retainer (Stryde) — about 16 videos/month
- Style: sports/athletic branded content, fast-paced cuts
- Scope: full edit from raw footage — cutting, pacing, transitions, and burned-in subtitles. I'll handle final color grading on my end (I have a set LUT pipeline), so you don't need to worry about matching my exact color look, just structure and pacing
- I'll provide pre-organized/culled footage so you're not digging through raw dumps
- Turnaround: [4 videos per week]
- Software: Premiere Pro preferred
What I'm looking for:
- Someone reliable for ongoing monthly volume (not one-off gigs) — ideally this becomes a steady working relationship
- Comfortable with a fast, punchy sports/branded content style
- Can share 2-3 examples of edits you've actually cut yourself (similar style if possible)
Budget: USD 200-250/month for the full volume (10-16)
If this sounds like a fit, send over your reel/examples and we can start with a small paid test video to see if the style clicks.

Hi Suzon,
My name is Eliot, I run a small video production company (Tam's Prod) based in France. I'm looking for an editor to help with a recurring YouTube project, and I came across your profile.
The project is a padel (racquet sport) documentary/vlog series published on Léo Poulain's YouTube channel. Each episode is around 40 minutes long, filmed during trips and tournaments, and the style leans more toward a vlog than a traditional documentary — dynamic pacing, personality-driven, not overly formal.
We'd need about 3 episodes over the course of this year.
A few questions before we go further:
Would this kind of project interest you?
Do you have experience editing vlog-style or documentary content of similar length?
Are you familiar with padel, or racquet sports in general? (Not essential, but it helps for pacing and understanding key moments)
Could you share examples of similar work (vlogs, sports content, or long-form YouTube editing)?
What would your rate be for this kind of episode, and what's your typical turnaround time?
Role: Podcast Production Manager
Compensation: 12/hr (USD), hourly, long‑term
Hours: Part‑time to start, with room to grow based on client load and performance
We run a podcast‑driven growth agency for entrepreneurs and business owners. Our clients use their podcasts to promote their businesses, tell their stories, and build authority in their markets. We’re looking for a Podcast Production Manager who can keep multiple client shows running smoothly while leading a small production assistant team.
This is not a basic VA role. You will own the day‑to‑day execution of podcast production for several client shows and make sure episodes, assets, and outreach workflows are delivered on time and at a high standard.
What You’ll Own
You will work inside our existing roadmap and systems, where deliverables are primarily handled by production. Your role is to both do the work and manage others doing similar production tasks. We are designing the production team so that each production team member is responsible for approximately 5 active client podcasts at any given time, with clear systems to keep every show on schedule.
Core responsibilities will include:
Managing podcast production workflows for multiple client shows (around 5 clients per production team member) following the roadmap and our internal SOPs.
Coordinating and overseeing production assistants as they handle editing, publishing, show notes, and asset delivery.
Ensuring episodes move from “recorded” to “published” through a clear checklist: file intake, editing status, review, scheduling, and final QA.
Keeping each client’s podcast on schedule according to their 10‑episode launch plans and ongoing production timelines.
Communicating with the internal team about what’s done, what’s blocked, and what needs client input or approval.
Ideal Candidate
You’ll be a strong fit if:
You’ve managed podcast or content production before, or you’ve served as a VA / project manager for a content‑heavy business.
You are comfortable owning checklists, timelines, and small team coordination.
You can work across multiple client shows without dropping details.
You are organized, reliable, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
You know your way around tools like Google Drive, Riverside, Youtube, Zoom, and basic project management / task tools.
Podcast‑specific experience (editing, show notes, asset handling, etc.) is a strong plus but not mandatory if you can demonstrate that you manage operations and people well.
Compensation & Growth
Starting rate: 12/hr (USD), paid via Upwork hourly contract.
Initial workload: part‑time, with the opportunity to increase hours as we add more client shows and as you prove reliability.
Long‑term relationship: We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the agency, take more ownership, and eventually oversee more of the production team.
Client's questions:
Describe your recent experience with similar projects
What frameworks have you worked with?
Describe your approach to testing and improving QA
Hourly rate:
12 USD

Web, Mobile & Software Dev, Product Management & Scrum
I run Urban Throwdown, Singapore's largest licensed CrossFit competition, and I'm looking for a video editor for a registration campaign for this year's event.
THE PROJECT
I have the last 3 years of professionally shot event footage — multi-camera coverage of the competition floor, athlete moments, and crowd atmosphere — all organized in Google Drive and ready to hand over. Over the next few weeks I need multiple short hype videos published on Instagram to drive athlete sign-ups, so this is an ongoing batch engagement, not a one-off edit.
OUR CURRENT CONTENT
Instagram: @urbanthrowdown_singapore
Website: urbanthrowdown.com
To be upfront — the videos on our feed were done in-house, and what we're commissioning now needs to be a considerable step up from that standard. That's the bar. If you look at our feed and can clearly see how you'd raise it, we should talk.
DELIVERABLE SPECS
- 30-second Instagram Reels, 9:16 vertical, 1080x1920
- Hook within the first 1.5 seconds
- On-screen text/captions (most viewers watch muted)
- Licensed music cleared for commercial/brand use
- Consistent end card with event date and registration CTA (I'll supply logo and brand assets)
- Delivered in publish-ready MP4
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
1. Your cost per 30-second video, and your rate if I commit to a batch of 8–10 over the campaign
2. Turnaround time per video once footage links are shared
3. How many revision rounds are included
4. 2–3 examples of sports or fitness content you've edited — ideally fast-paced athletic footage that shows the level above our current feed
5. Confirmation you're comfortable pulling selects from raw multi-hour event footage via Google Drive
To choose an editor I'll commission a paid test: one 30-second reel from a short clip of last year's footage, at your standard rate. If the test lands, you'll get the full campaign plus first consideration for our event recap videos and our related fitness brand content.

I run a small AI marketing firm. We work with professional services and finance firms. I am building out two channels: a video podcast recorded in Riverside, and a YouTube channel of solo talking-head videos.
I need one editor who can handle all of it. Long-form cuts, short vertical clips, and the odd VSL or onboarding video.
The monthly volume:
Around 4 long-form videos and 12-16 shorts a month, growing. Roughly 16-25 hours of work a month, ongoing and long term.
We record in Riverside, so you are not starting from a raw messy file. Tracks are recorded locally at source quality, transcripts are done, and Magic Clips gives a rough first pass on the vertical cuts. What it does not do is pick a hook that actually stops a scroll, or turn a 50 minute conversation into a tight 15 minute video. That part is you.
What you will do:
- Long-form. Take a raw Riverside recording or a solo take and cut it into a publishable YouTube video. Remove the dead air, the stumbles and the repeats. - Clean audio. Light b-roll, text on screen and simple motion where it earns its place. Not over-edited. This is a business audience, not a vlog audience.
- Shorts. Pull 3-4 vertical clips out of every recording. Strong first two seconds, burned-in captions, correct framing, hook on screen. Built for LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
- Find the moments yourself. I do not want to send you timestamps every week. You watch the recording and you pick what will actually travel. You will get a brief with suggested hooks and the on-brand graphics to drop in, but I want you to override it when you spot something better. Tell me why.
- Build the template pack in month one. Caption style, lower thirds, intro and outro, and a reusable graphic template that matches our brand. Once, properly, so every video after that is faster and consistent.
- Guest clip folders inside 48 hours. When the video is a podcast interview, the guest gets their own folder of clips within two working days of the recording. This one has a hard deadline because they post it to their own audience.
- Chase me for footage. Recording day is fixed. If the folder is empty by the end of that day, I want you posting in the Slack channel asking where it is. I mean this. It is part of the job.
Nice if you can, not required:
- YouTube thumbnails, titles and end screens
- Animated framework graphics
- Basic audio mastering
Tools
- Riverside for podcast recording and editing.
- Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, to edit Youtube video's.
- Slack for comms,
- Notion for the review queue and the brief.
- Google Drive or Frame.io for files.
- You deliver into Notion, not into my DMs.
Hourly to start, $15-25/hr depending on experience, with Upwork's time tracker on I want us both to find out what a video really takes before either of us commits to a number.
After the first month we move to a fixed price per deliverable, set from the hours you actually logged. That way you keep the upside when you get faster instead of earning less for being good. Tell me in your proposal what you think is fair for:
- one long-form YouTube edit, 10-25 minutes finished one short, 30-90 seconds, captioned
the one-off template pack in month one
thumbnails, if you do them
Rough guesses are fine. I will hold you to the measured numbers
We start with a paid trial. I send you one existing Riverside recording. You give me one finished cut and four shorts, capped at 7 tracked hours so there is no risk on either side. Paid whether or not we continue. If it lands, we go ongoing and I stop looking.
Who this is for:
- You have edited talking-head and interview content for a business audience, not just gaming or lifestyle.
- You can find a hook in an hour of conversation. You hit deadlines without being asked twice. You have opinions about pacing and you will tell me when a cut is weak.
Start your proposal with the word RIVERSIDE so I know you read this.
Then send me, in under 200 words:
- Two links. One long-form talking-head edit, one short-form vertical clip. Your work, not a studio showreel. Tell me what you did on each.
- Your rate card for the four items above.
- What you would need from me on day one to make the first edit good.
I read every proposal that starts with RIVERSIDE and I reply to everyone I shortlist.
Client's questions:
Send one link to a short-form vertical clip you edited from long-form footage. What made you pick that moment out of the full recording?
What is your turnaround for one long-form edit and four shorts from a single recording, assuming you get the file on a Monday?
Which editing software do you use, and do you own the licence?
What is your time zone and your usual working hours?
A client sends you a recording where the first eight minutes are rambling and the best content is at minute 41. What do you do?

We run a coaching program for senior professionals, and two parts of it need a real production person.
Job one: edit our podcast and cut the short-form content that comes out of it.
Job two: run our weekly Pitch Video Studio.
Every client in our program records a 90-second pitch video. They're executives in their fifties and sixties who haven't been on camera in years, and they join a two-hour session one at a time, 10-12 minutes each, to record it with a producer directing them.
You get them relaxed, you shape the delivery, you tell them when they've got the take.
So we need both skills: professional-grade editing, and real comfort directing nervous people on camera. If you have only ever worked alone in a timeline, this isn't your role.
This is not entry level. You own the process and deliver polished work with minimal hand-holding.
---
What you'll do
Client Pitch Video Studio
- Run a weekly two-hour live session with 8-10 scheduled client slots (roughly 12 minutes each)
- Get each client comfortable fast, check their setup (lighting, camera height, framing, audio), and run them through a scripted 90-second delivery on teleprompter
- Direct the delivery: pacing, energy, where to land the emphasis, when to slow down
- Capture clean local recordings (we use a browser-based studio tool, no client software installs)
- Quick Edits to each video to final:
- Deliver the finished video back to the client
Podcast editing and clipping
- Edit full episodes to a professional standard: clean audio and video, remove filler, tighten pacing, mix levels
Requirements (non-negotiable)
- Proven podcast editing experience. Include samples of podcasts you have edited. Applications without samples will not be considered
- Experience directing or producing people on camera.
-Interviews, remote recordings, talent who are not natural performers. Tell us about it in your application
- Professional-grade output. This is not an entry-level role
- A sharp eye for scroll-stopping clips and clean graphic design
- Available for a fixed two-hour live block each week, in US business hours
- Warm, patient, and clear with people who are nervous. Half this role is client-facing
- Reliable, proactive communicator who works independently and owns the process
Send us:
1. Two or three samples of podcasts you have edited
2. A 60 second video walking through something you produced or directed with another person on camera, and what you did to get the performance
3. A short note on your weekly availability
Client's questions:
Two or three samples of podcasts you have edited
A 60 second video walking through something you produced or directed with another person on camera, and what you did to get the performance

We're looking for a skilled long-form YouTube editor to join our team on an ongoing basis, editing entertainment content for a kids/teen/tween audience.
You'll be turning raw footage into polished, retention-optimized long-form videos (10–25+ minutes) that keep a young audience engaged from first frame to last. This is an ongoing role, not a one-off project — we're looking for a long-term editing partner who can grow with the channel.
What you'll be doing:
Editing long-form YouTube videos (10–25+ min) from raw footage to final export
Structuring pacing and story flow to maximize watch time and retention for a young audience
Adding motion graphics, sound design, music, SFX, and captions/subtitles
Color correction and audio leveling/mixing
Creating scroll-stopping thumbnails (or collaborating closely with a thumbnail designer)
Incorporating feedback quickly and iterating based on performance data
Maintaining brand consistency and a repeatable editing style across episodes
You're a great fit if you:
Have a strong portfolio of long-form YouTube edits — bonus points if any are in kids/family/teen entertainment
Understand what keeps a young audience watching (pacing, humor, visual gags, sound design, retention hooks)
Are fluent in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (After Effects a plus for motion graphics)
Can turn around high-quality edits on a fast, consistent schedule
Communicate proactively and take direction well
Have experience editing for platforms with strict content guidelines for younger audiences (understanding of YouTube's kids/family content policies is a plus)
To apply, please include:
A link to your portfolio or 2–3 examples of long-form edits (kids/family/entertainment preferred)
Your typical turnaround time per video
Your rate (hourly or per-video) and availability (hours/week)
Software you edit in
We're looking to move quickly and start with a paid trial video before committing to an ongoing arrangement.

The role involves editing short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, advertisements, educational content, and branding campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, motion graphics, sound design, and color correction.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent software)
* Experience editing Reels, Shorts, and YouTube videos

* Ability to meet deadlines and work with feedback
* Strong attention to detail and creativity
This is an in-office position based in Lucknow. Candidates should bring a portfolio or sample work for the interview.
I need to create a podcast and be able to record myself and also interview guest. In other words, my podcast will serve myself as host and other as guests.
I also bought some equipment that can help me. Although I can google and learn about how to podcast, I prefer to hire an expert who can walk me though the entire process and help me install everything: from connecting my equipment to setting up the podcast pages and testing the streamlining.
Here is what I need help with and why I am hiring you:
1. Set up my podcast account
2. To streamline, I learned about OBS (which I want to use in addition to whatever better options you will recommend). I need help to find and know tools I can use to record my interviews with other hosts, even without having to ask them for permission. This is important for me so that, if people interview me, I can record it and use on my platforms without having to use their edited versions
3. Because I will be using Mac computer, I plan to use GarageBand for Mac and any other software you may recommend.

I have a book about my story being domestically trafficked into a sister wife CULT in PR. Its a compelling story which was all over Latin news in 2005-2007 from Telemundo to CNN. I escaped the abuse in 2016 with 5 of my.remaining kidd after my first son died His funeral was on the news in Puerto Rico. I have to make a compelling video of me narrating my story with added clips of newspaper articles, photos, and whatever ypu think is needed. Im in Kansas. I have several pre recorded versions that are too long. Or we can start fresh. I love the camera and can do whatever works best.
I’m looking for a skilled editor for one full interview episode of my podcast, Do Not Disturb, which explores motherhood, ambition, identity and modern life.
This is a trial project. If we’re a good fit, there will be regular work editing future episodes.
Scope
Please edit one full interview (the Becky episode).
The edit should include:
* Tightening the conversation by removing repetition, pauses and weaker sections.
* Making thoughtful editorial cuts where appropriate. The final episode may end up significantly shorter than the original if that creates a stronger viewing experience.
* Clean multicam editing.
* Basic colour correction and audio balancing.
* A polished YouTube-ready final export.
Please don’t simply remove silences—I want someone with editorial judgement who can shape a compelling conversation.
What I’m looking for
* Experience editing interview or podcast content.
* Strong storytelling instincts.
* Excellent pacing.
* Reliability and good communication.
When you apply, please include:
* Links to two podcast or interview edits you’ve completed.
* A brief explanation of how you approach editing long-form conversations.
* Your estimated turnaround time.
* Your quote for editing this episode.
If we’re a good fit, I’d love to build an ongoing relationship for future episodes.

I run a faceless YouTube channel covering "impossible" construction and engineering projects — how famously difficult builds were solved (e.g. Sydney Opera House roof, sinking skyscrapers, etc.). Looking for an editor for ongoing work, starting with one video to test fit.
What I need from you:
Search for and source B-roll/stock footage and photos based on the shot list I provide (archival images, stock video, historical photos — whatever fits each scene)
Sync narration to the B-roll/stock footage per the shot list timestamps
Basic text overlays/captions for key facts, dates, and numbers mentioned in the script
Light motion graphics where helpful (e.g. simple diagrams/labels — nothing too complex)
Basic color and audio cleanup/mixing
Export in [1080p/4K — pick one] at [aspect ratio, e.g. 16:9]
I'll provide the script, shot list, and narration audio — you'll be responsible for finding the actual B-roll/stock clips and photos that match each scene based on the shot list notes.
We are seeking a skilled freelancer to create and post engaging clips for our podcast on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing and social media management, ensuring content is optimized for each platform. Responsibilities include editing audio and video content, creating visually appealing clips, and managing the posting process to maximize engagement. Expectation is 8 clips per episode with 4 episodes per month.
I'm a New Jersey real estate advisor producing educational YouTube content focused on buyers, sellers, market updates, and homeownership.
I'm looking for a long-term editor who can create polished YouTube videos and repurpose each video into multiple Shorts, Reels, and TikToks.
I prefer clean, professional edits with good pacing, tasteful B-roll, captions, music, and simple graphics. My goal is to educate and build trust—not create flashy or overproduced videos.
Experience editing real estate content is preferred. Please include three examples of YouTube videos you've edited.

We are looking for an editor to turn long-form streams (typically 1–6+ hours) into 30–40 engaging short-form clips per month per content creator (we will start with just one creator and potentially scale up if you have capacity)
The most important skill is finding the right moments. We’re not looking for someone who can only add captions or copy an editing style—we need someone who understands why content performs.
You should have a strong understanding of short-form content, pacing, hooks, retention, and what makes people stop scrolling. Familiarity with creators like Kai Cenat, AMP, MrBeast, Marlon, popular podcasters, and similar viral content is a big plus. Most clips will likely come from this style of content, but projects won’t be limited to those niches.
Responsibilities:
* Watch streams and identify the strongest moments worth clipping
* Create edits with an immediate hook, tight pacing, and no dead space
* Structure clips for maximum engagement and retention, not just flashy visuals
* Deliver polished short-form videos ready for review
When applying, include your best short-form edits (especially stream, podcast, or long-form content you’ve turned into viral clips) and briefly explain your approach to choosing moments.
