U.S.-Based Video Editor | Short Clips, Educational Videos & Highlights
$30–$35/Hour | Open to Per-Clip Pricing | Remote Within the U.S. Read Before Applying You must be based in the United States. Individual freelancers only. No agencies or outsourced editing teams. You must have professional video editing experience and samples of your work. You must be a native English speaker or fluent in spoken and written English. You must agree to a fully white label role and sign an NDA. Please apply only if you meet all requirements. About the Role Grit Blueprint is hiring an experienced video editor to turn longer, edited videos into strong short clips and standalone highlights. You will work on both client content and Grit Blueprint’s own content. We are a visibility and growth company serving the building industry. Our videos feature business owners, builders, manufacturers, industry leaders, and the people behind their businesses. We need someone who can choose a strong opening, make a clear point, and deliver polished work with little back-and-forth. Great work could lead to a much larger ongoing workload, broader editing projects, or a full-time editing opportunity as our production needs grow. What You’ll Create Projects may include: Podcast and interview clips. Educational videos, how-to segments, and FAQs. Product explanations and demonstrations. Customer stories and company highlights. Personal brand and behind-the-scenes content. You will create both vertical videos in 9:16 and horizontal videos in 16:9. Short clips will often run 30–60 seconds. Horizontal highlights will often run 2–3 minutes. These are typical lengths, not fixed limits. The assignment and story will guide the final length. Educational clips should leave viewers with a clear answer, useful lesson, or practical next step. Keep the context and details needed to understand the topic. How We’ll Work Together You will work directly with our lead editor, primarily using videos that have already been edited. We will provide the edited video, relevant project files and assets, brand guidelines, and direction. Some assignments will include suggested segments or approximate timestamps. Others will call for you to identify strong moments and recommend clips. Each finished clip should make sense to someone who has never watched the full episode. Your Responsibilities Build strong openings and complete endings. Tighten pacing while keeping the speaker’s meaning and natural voice. Preserve key teaching points in educational content. Adjust music, transitions, graphics, and logos for each shorter edit. Reframe footage while keeping people, products, and key details visible. Add and proofread captions and on-screen text where needed. Check names, company names, and product terms. Flag anything unclear. Follow the correct branding for each assignment. Review every export for sound, spelling, framing, and visual errors. Deliver organized final files and editable project files where required. Meet deadlines, communicate early about issues, and apply feedback to future work. Tools and Experience Adobe Premiere Pro experience is required. Some assignments will involve working inside existing Premiere Pro projects, relinking media, and following shared folder structures. You may also use OpusClip, Riverside, or other approved AI clipping tools, depending on the project. We welcome tools that help you work faster. You are responsible for reviewing suggested clips, improving weak openings, fixing awkward cuts, correcting captions, and checking the final video. You should have strong judgment with pacing, storytelling, audio, and framing. You must understand conversational English, humor, and business context well enough to preserve what the speaker means. Experience with educational content, business interviews, products, or the building industry is a plus. White Label Role and Confidentiality This is a fully white label role. Work will be delivered under Grit Blueprint or our clients’ brands, without public editor credit. You must sign a nondisclosure agreement before receiving footage, project files, or confidential information, including materials for a paid test. You may not share project materials, identify clients, or use the work in your portfolio, website, social media, or demo reel without prior written permission from Grit Blueprint. AI tools must be used within our approved workflow and confidentiality requirements. Pay and Growth Our hourly range is $30–$35 per hour. We are also open to an agreed per-clip or batch price based on scope and complexity. We want an ongoing working relationship. Consistent quality, reliable turnaround, and clear communication can lead to substantially more work and responsibility, with the potential for full-time editing. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a small paid test: one vertical clip and one horizontal highlight. To Apply Please include: Your U.S. location, time zone, weekly availability, and confirmation that you are an individual freelancer who will personally complete the work. Three relevant examples you personally edited. Include vertical and horizontal work, plus an educational example if available. Tell us what you handled. Your experience with Premiere Pro and AI clipping tools, plus your typical turnaround for a batch of clips. Your hourly rate within the listed range or proposed per-clip pricing. Explain what your price includes. Confirmation that you meet the English fluency requirement, accept a fully white-label role, and will sign an NDA.

Looking for a podcast editor who can edit both video and audio with Descript. Ideally you have your own pro account with access to the pro tools so we can collaborate on the projects seamlessly.
Tasks include: - Downloading files from Riverside - If needed, processing WAV audio separately in another audio editing software if the quality needs more touching up beyond Descript's tools (I do not like to rely on Studio Sound); - importing (video + separate WAV audio) files and setting up sequences - syncing the better audio tracks to the video - making basic cuts necessary for the video version - duplicating composition and continuing on with more detailed audio editing (verbal decluttering, adding space for midroll, highlighting possible intro preview quotes while going through detailed edit, setting up the intro/outro through templates... - for the video — panning between 2 different 'views' (guest speaking with guest enlarged and host in the bottom corner, to side by side when host is speaking) - Creating video REELS from standout segments as previews - Supporting strategy for YouTube growth (we are newly focusing on YouTube to meet watch hours goal) Our themes include environmental justice, social issues, supporting a more loving and life-affirming world for everybody. It would be great if these themes feel values-aligned with you as well.

I’m looking for a creative, experienced Social Media Content Creator/Reels Editor to help me grow a new Instagram education brand called The Booked Aesthetician.
I am a licensed medical aesthetician and aesthetics business owner with 10+ years in the industry, and I’m currently developing an online course designed to teach aestheticians how to build a booked, profitable business with loyal, returning clients. The Instagram account already has approximately 3,000 followers, primarily within the aesthetics industry, so I’m looking for someone who can help me turn the page into a strong educational brand and grow an engaged audience of aestheticians. WHAT I NEED I will provide the raw video footage. I need someone who can take that footage and turn it into engaging, polished, high-performing Instagram content. I will also provide many of the initial Reel concepts, hooks, talking points, and content ideas, but I do NOT want someone who simply waits for me to tell them exactly what to post. I’m looking for someone creative who can understand my brand, voice, audience, and course and then begin developing additional content ideas independently. Responsibilities will include: • Editing raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels • Creating strong hooks within the first few seconds • Adding on-screen text, captions/subtitles, B-roll, transitions, trending audio when appropriate, and other elements that improve retention • Turning my ideas and educational topics into content that feels natural, relatable, and entertaining • Helping develop NEW Reel concepts, hooks, POVs, educational posts, and content series • Repurposing raw footage into multiple pieces of content whenever possible • Creating approximately 5–6 pieces of content per week, primarily Reels • Helping maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity • Understanding Instagram trends and adapting them to the aesthetics industry rather than simply copying trends • Creating content designed to generate saves, shares, comments, follows, DMs, and ultimately course sales • Helping plan content in advance so we aren’t scrambling to create posts every day • Providing ideas for additional footage I should capture when needed CONTENT STRATEGY The content will primarily educate aestheticians on topics such as: Client acquisition Consultations Rebooking Client retention Memberships Referrals Building a loyal clientele Creating an amazing client experience Growing an aesthetics business Becoming consistently booked Mistakes aestheticians make when building their clientele The overall strategy will be approximately 80% valuable/educational/relatable content and 20% promotional content for the course. Examples of the type of content we’ll create: “3 reasons your facial clients aren’t rebooking.” “Stop asking your client, ‘Do you want to schedule another facial?’ Say THIS instead.” “POV: You’re an amazing aesthetician but your books still look like this 🦗.” “If I lost every client tomorrow and had to rebuild my clientele from zero, here’s what I’d do first.” “You don’t need 10,000 Instagram followers. You need 100 loyal clients.” “How I turn a first-time appointment into a long-term client.” I want the page to become the account aestheticians follow because they constantly think: “She understands exactly what I’m struggling with.” And eventually: “If she’s giving me this much value for free, I need her course.” THE IDEAL PERSON You understand what makes short-form content perform. You have a strong eye for clean, modern, feminine content and can edit Reels that feel current without looking overly produced or cheesy. You understand storytelling, hooks, retention, CTAs, and how to turn expertise into content people actually want to watch. Experience working with aesthetics, beauty, med spas, personal brands, coaches, educators, or digital course creators is a major plus. Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who wants to become a creative partner in growing this brand, not simply someone who edits videos. Also, CONTENT ORGANIZATION & LIBRARY I would like every piece of content created to be uploaded and organized in a shared Google Drive, including final edited Reels and other finished assets. I want to build an organized content library so we can easily access, track, and strategically repurpose or repost high-performing content every 30–60 days when appropriate. Keeping everything organized and easy to find will be an important part of this role. This has the potential to become an ongoing, long-term position as The Booked Aesthetician grows.

No animation, graphics, or motion templates needed. This is a conversational, storytelling-driven show think sitting with a friend who’s telling you a great story and cracking jokes along the way. Pacing and timing are everything.
What I need: • Protect the natural rhythm of the story. I’m not looking for someone who mechanically removes every silence or pause. • Clean, natural-feeling edits not choppy jump cuts or edits that interrupt the buildup of a story or joke. • Strong editorial judgment when working with multiple takes. If I restart a section or give a few different versions of a line, you should be comfortable choosing and assembling the strongest performance. • Know the difference between dead air and a pause that’s doing something a setup before a punchline, a reaction beat, a breath before the story turns, etc. • Use close-ups, wider framing, punch-ins, and other subtle shot variation intentionally to maintain visual interest without making the edit feel random or overdone. • Understand comedy and storytelling. You should know when to cut, when to punch in, when to hold on a reaction, and when leaving something alone makes the joke work better. • Cultural fluency matters. You should be comfortable with AAVE, sarcasm, internet-native humor, and conversational storytelling. I need an editor who can understand the joke/voice well enough to edit around it properly. • Create a short opening teaser/cold open using strong moments from later in the episode. The purpose is to hook the viewer and make them want to continue watching not simply compile random funny clips. • Reliable turnaround: the first 2 episodes must be completed by September 16. Scope: • 2 episodes to start (~30–40 minutes raw footage each; target final runtime ~17–25 minutes) • Main episode edit + opening teaser/cold open • No shorts, intro/outro creation, animation, or motion graphics required • I will provide a previously edited episode as a reference for the pacing/style I’m looking for • Flat rate: $40 per episode / $80 total • Ongoing work is possible if we’re a strong fit, with potential for a recurring monthly arrangement as the show continues To apply: • Send a reel or 2–3 examples of your most relevant work. Talking-head comedy, storytelling, personality-driven entertainment, or similar work is preferred. • Tell me your typical turnaround time per episode and confirm you can deliver both first episodes by September 16. • Confirm that you're comfortable with the $40/episode fixed rate.

The price listed for this job is per video. I am asking for 8 videos/month, so this will be approximately 200/month that I hope to spend.
I am interested in hiring someone to help with my YouTube production. 1. Saturday episodes: I record myself talking (like a talking head video) and then overlay archival images (video footage when I have it), to relay a story and my videos are typically 8-12 minutes in total length. See my channel here: http://www.youtube.com/@thatshakespearelife I would like to level up the Saturday videos and make them look better than they do currently, and if I have editing help I can get more creative with the footage I’m using for those. The Saturday ones I’d like to feel like micro-documentaries. 2. Monday Podcast Highlight Reels. Take my raw podcast video recording and edit it into a 15 minutes "best of" reel for YouTube. 3. Full Video Version of the Podcast. Take the same raw podcast episode, and edit it into a full video version of the recording, removing the mistakes with jump cuts (no fancy transitions). Adding lower thirds to identify the guest and putting provided historical images like woodcuts, documents, paintings, etc, into the video where it matches what we are talking about. I want to create video versions of my podcast which edits out any mistakes me or my guest might make during the raw recording, and add in the opening credits and post roll items so it sounds like the podcast but has the video version. We record on Zoom, so it would be editing the original zoom recording. On these videos, I need you to be able to watch the episode and listen to what we talk about to know where to add the images I am providing. I can send you a rough outline of the order in which we cover questions and make suggestions for where approximately I want the pictures to be, but I am not good at the details like exact time codes and that's one reason I'm hiring someone. So you need to be able to function without hand holding on that level of detail. Ideally, I would batch create these videos monthly and have you edit them and then I can schedule them. My podcast episodes range from 15 minutes all the way to 1 hour, and usually fall in the 30-45 minute range, but they are not consistent each time. Weird Word videos are always under 1 minute, designed to be a YouTube short. Here's an example of the type of Saturday videos I do. This was about 20 minutes of footage to start with. https://youtu.be/YYBSmFdDrLQ?si=9mWbhO_8gh1pA_hp Here's another example that I did from a while back: https://youtu.be/cnT-v5QjLKY?si=yNR45oJ5DBVzal2v The style I am wanting is MythBusters Meets Lucy Worsley. I really like the videos from Tasting History with Max Miller. See his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@TastingHistory Here's a dropbox folder with footage and a script outline plus the intro/outro to use for three youtube videos. I want to do them as DIY History videos. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/0wmcni0bd8gq9jr4976pl/September-2026-YouTube.docx?rlkey=wa708ht4fr5l62fmrkm3bjvp8&st=dsjghk1u&dl=0 I want to be able to post the first one of these out this weekend, and have the other two back by this time next week if possible. Additoinally, here's video files for my latest podcast episode. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/xeolotz368gplkq6oo1yp/ANjCO3HEHT0fusFo0JubKuQ?rlkey=mfnq0fyfuu7p1aru6wevwyfyq&st=x642lo40&dl=0 On the podcast, I would like to have a highlight reel I can post to YouTube and a full video version I can put onto Patreon. You can decide what highlights are best to use, I'm thinking maybe just the first few questions? Whatever the optimal length for increasing subscriptions and watch hours on YouTube is, aim for that length. The audio files for the podcast intro/outro are included in the dropbox folder. I do want something on the video version for these bits, but I don't have graphics created. I would want the editor on this job to make the graphics for this part on the video that we can reuse. Logo and intro/outro files are included in the dropbox above. Please quote me a price and delivery time for the current project (3 videos for September and the current podcast video plus a podcast video weekly + highlight reel weekly) and then quote me a monthly cost moving forward. I want to spend about $100-200/month on these videos, and I want them functional over expensive. I need someone who can follow rough instructions without detailed time codes, is willing to watch the footage I am sending over to get a feel for the content and match editing to the theme. I want someone who is knowledgable about YouTube best practices, and can help support an ongoing platform build for a history/documentary channel. I expect you to meet deadlines and communicate clearly when assets or files are missing or you need something from me to finish the projects. Do not use AI for this project. Client's questions:

We are seeking a reliable, creatively engaged video editor for a cinematic, long-form YouTube series exploring artificial intelligence, consciousness, technology, humanity, and the future.
The editor should be skilled at seamless A-roll editing, purposeful B-roll placement, animating AI/Midjourney imagery, clean dialogue processing, restrained music mixing, tasteful typography, transitions, and color correction. The desired style is intelligent, contemplative, futuristic, and documentary-inspired—not hyperactive TikTok-style editing. The process will begin with a 45–60 second pilot. If the creative fit, communication, pricing, and turnaround are strong, this can continue through our seven-archive first season and beyond. Please provide: * Two or three relevant long-form, documentary, interview, or cinematic podcast samples * estimated price for 10-15 minute video podcast episodes and/or reel * Your availability and expected turnaround * Your preferred editing software * A brief explanation of why this project interests you Strong communication, careful direction-following, and delivery of organized editable project files are required. The Job
We're looking for a video editor to handle the intro and outro segments on Abe's YouTube videos. This isn't full long-form editing — it's a focused, recurring role: take the raw footage/hook, cut a sharp, attention-grabbing intro, and close every video out with a clean, on-brand outro that pushes viewers toward the next step (subscribe, follow, join the community, etc.). If you're someone who can consistently turn around punchy, retention-focused open/close segments without needing a ton of back-and-forth, this is for you. What You'll Do Edit intros that hook viewers in the first few seconds and set up the video's premise Edit outros that reinforce the channel's brand and drive a clear call-to-action Match pacing, music, captions/text, and visual style to Abe's existing content Turn around edits on a consistent schedule as new videos are filmed Take feedback and revise quickly when something's off What We're Looking For A portfolio or reel showing intro/outro work you've done before (YouTube preferred) A strong sense of pacing and hook-writing — you understand why the first 5 seconds matter Comfortable working from raw footage and brand guidelines with minimal hand-holding Reliable turnaround times — this is a recurring role, not a one-off gig Bonus: experience editing for finance, trading, or business/creator content Pay & Structure Paid per video, per delivery.

Video Editor Needed — Real Estate Property Tour Video
Apogee Real Estate Advisors | Jennifer Stowe, Compass Project Overview I need a skilled video editor to combine two existing source elements into one polished, finished YouTube video for a luxury farm property listing: A property walkthrough tour, already filmed and assembled in Descript An AI avatar host segment created in HeyGen The raw tour is already put together. What I need is the editing layer on top: graphics, transitions, and pattern interrupts placed every 30 to 90 seconds throughout the video to keep watch time high. Scope of Work Combine the Descript walkthrough footage and the HeyGen avatar clips into one seamless final video Add transitions between scenes that feel intentional, not jarring, matched to the pacing of a property tour rather than a fast-cut social edit Place pattern interrupts every 30 to 90 seconds throughout the video. This can include text callouts, zoom/pan emphasis on a detail, a quick graphic overlay, a sound cue, or a brief cutaway, whatever keeps a viewer's attention without feeling gimmicky for a real estate audience Add supporting graphics: lower-third text for room names or property specs as they're mentioned, on-screen stat callouts (acreage, plant counts, square footage), and a closing card with contact info and CTA Auto-captions styled in the brand's colors (see Brand Guidelines below) Silence detection and cleanup, consistent with prior CapCut-based editing standards Final export in a format ready for YouTube upload Brand Guidelines Core brand palette is black, white, and gray. YouTube-specific assets (thumbnails, lower-thirds, graphics) accent color is red this is the YouTube channel's palette only, not the general brand Voice and tone throughout is warm and narrative-first, this should be reflected in how graphics and pacing feel, not just in the spoken script CTA card/graphic should read clearly as a soft "Book a Strategy Call" prompt, not a hard sell Deliverables One finished, fully edited video file, ready for YouTube upload Captions burned in or provided as a styled caption file, in brand colors Any custom graphic assets used (lower-thirds, stat callouts, closing card) delivered as reusable templates if possible, so future videos can reuse the same system Ideal Editor Experience editing real estate or property tour content, or comparable long-form walkthrough/lifestyle video Comfortable working with Descript and HeyGen source files Strong sense of pacing for keeping viewers engaged across a longer-format video without resorting to overly aggressive social-media style cutting Can build a reusable template/system so this isn't a one-off process for future listings Timeline & Budget (Add your target turnaround and rate here before posting) To Apply Please share: Examples of similar property tour or long-form walkthrough edits Your experience with Descript and/or HeyGen Your typical turnaround time for a video of this length

We are a growing media and marketing agency that creates content and generates leads for local businesses. We are looking for a high-level short-form video editor who can consistently turn raw footage into engaging, professional videos designed to generate attention, build trust, and ultimately drive leads and sales.
We work with businesses in industries such as real estate, automotive, home services, local businesses, and other service-based companies. What You'll Be Doing For each client, we want to produce approximately 30 short-form videos per month. You will take our professionally shot raw footage and turn it into high-performing content for platforms such as: Instagram Reels TikTok Facebook Reels YouTube Shorts The content will be strategically divided into different stages of the customer journey: Top of Funnel (TOF) Content designed to grab attention and reach new people. Examples: Strong hooks Educational content Industry-related tips Interesting/controversial topics Entertaining videos Problem/solution content Trend-based content when appropriate Middle of Funnel (MOF) Content designed to build trust and turn viewers into potential customers. Examples: Behind-the-scenes content Client/business stories FAQs Demonstrations "Why choose us" content Educational authority content Process videos Common mistakes customers make Bottom of Funnel (BOF) Content designed to convert viewers into leads/customers. Examples: Testimonials Case studies Before & afters Results Service explanations Objection handling Strong calls-to-action Direct-response advertisements We want the editor to understand that a video isn't successful just because it looks good. It needs to accomplish a specific marketing objective. Editing Style We are looking for modern, engaging short-form content with: Strong first 1–3 second hooks Fast pacing when appropriate Clean cuts Dynamic captions Strategic B-roll Zooms/punch-ins when appropriate Sound effects Music Motion graphics Text overlays Pattern interrupts Professional color correction Clean audio Platform-native editing styles We do NOT want every video to look like an over-edited template. The editing should match the business, audience, and objective of the video. Marketing Understanding Is a HUGE Plus Our ideal editor understands why a video is being edited a certain way. You should understand concepts such as: Hooks Retention Watch time Storytelling Curiosity Pattern interrupts CTAs Customer pain points Objection handling TOF/MOF/BOF Direct-response marketing Lead generation You don't need to be a full-time marketer, but you should understand that different videos have different purposes. Monthly Deliverables For each client: Approximately 30 short-form videos/month We will provide: Raw camera footage Video concepts/scripts when applicable Brand information Client information Desired messaging References/examples when necessary You will be responsible for: Selecting the strongest footage Creating the edit Adding captions Adding B-roll Creating engaging pacing Adding appropriate graphics/effects Improving audio Color correction Adding music/SFX Creating strong openings Incorporating CTAs Delivering polished, platform-ready videos We Also Want You to Help Improve the Content If you notice something that could make the content better, tell us. For example: "If we move this sentence to the beginning, the hook will be stronger." "This section is too slow." "This clip would work better as a BOF video." "We should cut this into two separate videos." We're looking for someone who can become a creative partner, not someone who simply follows instructions. Ideal Candidate You should: Have strong short-form editing experience Have experience editing Reels/TikToks/Shorts Understand social media retention Have excellent attention to detail Be reliable with deadlines Communicate clearly Be able to handle recurring monthly work Be comfortable working with multiple clients/industries Have a strong sense of pacing and storytelling Be able to replicate a reference style when needed Be willing to give creative input Bonus Points Experience with: Real estate content Automotive content Home-service businesses Local business marketing Paid social advertisements Meta Ads TikTok Ads Direct-response marketing UGC Talking-head content Cinematic B-roll CapCut Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve After Effects Long-Term Opportunity We are looking for someone who can become our go-to editor as we grow. We don't want to hire someone for one project and disappear. Our goal is to continuously acquire new clients and increase the amount of content we produce each month. If you're excellent, there will be an opportunity for: Consistent monthly work More clients Higher monthly compensation Increased creative responsibility Long-term collaboration To Apply Please send: Your portfolio 3–5 examples of your best short-form videos Your experience with Reels/TikTok/YouTube Shorts Your preferred editing software Your pricing for approximately 30 short-form videos per month Your typical turnaround time Tell us briefly how you would approach editing a video differently for TOF vs. MOF vs. BOF We care much more about the quality and effectiveness of your work than having a huge portfolio. If you understand short-form content, storytelling, retention, and marketing—and can consistently produce excellent work—we'd love to work with you.

I have just recorded the first 9-minute episode of my new weekly show, “Your Divorce, Your Journey,” and I’d like to hand the post-production and distribution workflow over to someone who knows the ropes.
Each week you’ll receive raw audio that ranges from 20–45 minutes. Inside my Descript workspace you will: • Apply both basic clean-up (ums, ahs, long pauses) and advanced polishing such as EQ, compression, and subtle noise reduction. • Drop in a mellow jazz saxophone intro and outro that fits the reflective tone of the show. When the audio is locked, from Descript, draft concise episode notes that include: • A summary with the key take-aways. • Guest information when applicable. Finally, hop into my Buzzsprout dashboard, upload the finished file, attach the notes, and schedule it so it automatically feeds to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and the other directories. Acceptance for each episode: 1. Descript project shows all edits and markers. 2. Master WAV/MP3 plays cleanly with intro/outro in place. 3. Episode notes meet the two bullets above and are pasted into Buzzsprout. 4. Episode is scheduled and visible in the Buzzsprout queue. If you’re comfortable juggling Descript and Buzzsprout on a weekly cadence, this should be a smooth, ongoing collaboration. Before you accept the project please confirm that what I need will mean that my Podcast can be up and running without any additional work. I have just stepped into the world of podcasting and need a reliable partner who can take the technical side off my plate. Each week I’ll record a 20-45 minute episode (the pilot is 9 minutes) and drop the raw file into my Descript workspace. From there, I need you to:
• Open the session in Descript, remove background noise and those inevitable “um” and “ah” moments, then level the audio so it sounds consistent throughout. .Use Descript to draft episode notes. • Add a short, calm and soothing music bed for both the intro and outro, blended cleanly with a brief voice-over that I’ll supply. • Export the final mix as a high-quality MP3 (and WAV if you prefer for archiving) and update the transcript inside Descript for accuracy. • You will also have full access to my Buzzsprout account to Publish the episode to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts, filling in the title, summary and artwork exactly as provided and scheduling it for the agreed release day each week. I’ll grant you full access to my Descript account plus the Buzzsprout hosting dashboard I use for distribution. Turnaround time: 24 hours after I upload the raw audio. I also would expect you to advise me if you feel something could be done in a different or better way. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s get started with the pilot episode and build a smooth weekly workflow together. We run a football (soccer) podcast — casual, unfiltered, lads-in-the-locker-room vibe covering the Premier League, Aussie football, and international tournaments. We've got an episode live and a few clips already up, and now we're looking for someone to take the clip side properly off our hands.
Here's where you can see us: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Over-YappinFullbacks TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@overyappinfullbacks Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/overyappin_fullbacks Most importantly — you need to get football. Not just edit it. We want someone who actually watches the game, knows the players and the storylines, and understands the vibe of a footy team group chat — the banter, the hot takes, the arguments, the stuff lads actually laugh about. If you don't know your football, this isn't the gig. The best clips come from someone who knows which 30 seconds are the gold, not just someone who can cut a video. We also want you to be prolific — someone who can turn out a high volume of clips consistently, not one or two a week. What we need: The main job is short-form clips for TikTok and Instagram Reels. We'll tell you where the clips are and what we want them about — you turn them into punchy, scroll-stopping clips with captions/subtitles that match our style. We've got a heap of clip ideas queued up and want to try loads of them, so there's real ongoing volume here. We'd also love you to study the biggest football podcasts and creators out there — look at how the top ones cut their short-form content, how they hook you in the first two seconds, how they caption, pace, and punch up a moment, how they use on-screen text and reactions to make a take land. Bring that thinking to ours and help us grow our views. (We won't name names — you know the ones. If you're deep in football content, you'll already follow them.) Bonus if you can also handle full podcast editing (cleaning up the episode, tightening it, basic audio) — that's a maybe, not a must, but a big plus if you can do both. What we'll provide: The raw episode(s) Timestamps for each clip and a note on what each one should be about Access to our current TikTok and Instagram so you can see where we're at To apply: Keep it short. Tell us about your football knowledge (who do you support, what do you watch?), your experience with short-form sports clips, and drop a couple of examples. How we'll pick: Just to be upfront about the process — everyone who applies and who we like the look of will get sent the same trial reel to make. We'll see who does the best with it, and that's how we'll decide. Fair and simple: best clip wins. If it's a good fit, there's steady, ongoing work — we want to make a lot of these. Want a rate/budget line added, or is it good to go? Say also that I'm happy to do this fixed rate or hourly, or even if you have a brand strategy to make this become a big thing, definitely apply, because this, I really want to go places. Also say that I can give you branding guidelines as well. Any graphic design experience would be awesome too. But that's just a plus. If you have it, that's just an extra plus we can get. Here's the updated post with all of that worked in: Title: Podcast Editor + Short-Form Clip Creator for Football/Soccer Podcast (Ongoing) Description: We run a football (soccer) podcast — casual, unfiltered, lads-in-the-locker-room vibe covering the Premier League, Aussie football, and international tournaments. Brand strategy — if you're the kind of person who can look at this and see how to turn it into something big, definitely apply. We can also give you our branding guidelines so your work stays on-brand from day one. Rate: We're flexible — happy to work fixed-rate or hourly, whatever suits you. And if you're coming at this as a proper brand/growth partner rather than just an editor, we're open to that conversation too.
