I am looking for assistance with posting open ended questions on Reddit to steer conversations toward a particular product category (e.g. chocolate and candy) or a particular brand within that category (e.g. M&Ms) to elicit consumer discussion around topics that are of particular interest to our clients. My firm has been engaging in this activity - but recently has encountered issues with bans / IP restrictions.
Our firm would analyze responses to these reddit questions and conversations to identify themes and unearth insight for our clients - so the specific request at this time is limited to assistance with posting / engaging with consumers. For a specific project you could anticipate that we workflow would look like: - We provide exact / near exact messages that we’d like to be posted on specific subreddits - You / your team post those messages using accounts that you are cultivating - You provide a link to where the post is located so that we can monitor responses - Potentially if we could have the opportunity to follow-up on specific posts we’ve requested to dictate replies to interesting responses (e.g. if there are requests for clarification from the OP or if we’re looking to dive deeper into a topic that was brought up). For each project we conduct this type activity - we'd anticipate that the posting / commenting would take course over ~5 working days on average. Each project would consist of 15-20 reddit posts requested that could be provided and posted by your accounts. Then there may be 3-5 additional posts / comments that we provide as we begin our analysis. The above outlines a single engagement - however we anticipate replicating this type of engagement for different categories ~10-15 times a year. In an ideal scenario we run a trial of 1-2 engagements and end on a preferred partner who we would utilize long term. At the moment - there is not engagment imminent but we are looking for proposals when our next project comes up (likely in the next 1-2 months). While this particular request is limited to Reddit - we are also interested in replicating a similar process across other discussion based social media platforms in the future (e.g. discord, quota, facebook). If that is a capability you have as well - it is a nice bonus!
