Business Development VA — Email & LinkedIn Outreach (Healthcare IT / Nursing Staffing)
We're a Canada-based healthcare IT consulting firm (EMR implementation) also launching a nursing staffing platform. We need a dedicated business development VA to build prospect lists and run outreach campaigns for both ventures. What you'll do: Research and build targeted contact lists (healthcare facilities, clinics, health authorities for our consulting arm; nursing homes, staffing agencies, care facilities for our staffing platform) Find the right decision-makers using LinkedIn Sales Navigator (e.g. directors of nursing, practice managers, procurement leads) Write and run email outreach sequences to those contacts Book qualified discovery calls onto our calendar Track outreach activity and results in a shared sheet/CRM What you won't do: Cold calling (email-first only) Closing deals or negotiating (we handle discovery calls and closing directly) Split: Roughly 60% healthcare IT consulting outreach, 40% nursing staffing platform outreach. You'll log hours against each separately. Hours: ~15 hrs/week to start, part-time, with room to grow if it's working. How we work: Async communication, weekly check-in call during overlapping hours We'll give you the targeting criteria and messaging direction; you own the list-building and sequencing execution Paid trial task first (a small real outreach batch) before committing to ongoing hours Required skills: Email outreach and sequence writing LinkedIn lead generation / Sales Navigator Research (finding accurate contact info and the right titles) Strong written English To apply: Include a short note on a lead-gen campaign you've run before, and what tools you used to build your lists.

Job Overview
We are looking for a highly reliable remote Executive Personal Assistant / Personal Concierge to support a U.S.-based CEO with personal, household, property, vendor, and selected business-administration projects. This is a hands-on execution role. You will take rough instructions, email threads, Google Drive folders, photos, project documents, and open administrative issues and move them toward actual outcomes. A major part of the role is direct outreach. You must be comfortable calling U.S. contractors, vendors, service providers, professional offices, and other outside parties during Pacific Time business hours. We are not looking for someone who only researches vendors, builds trackers, sends one email, and waits. Research and organization are important, but they must lead to live conversations, written quote commitments, proposals, appointments, clear declines, recommendations, or completed tasks. There is no fixed daily call quota. However, the role only makes sense if the person consistently uses phone calls, direct follow-up, replacement sourcing, and practical problem-solving to create measurable progress. What You Will Work On Assignments may include: - Researching and qualifying contractors, handymen, HVAC companies, home-service providers, engineers, installers, maintenance vendors, and professional offices - Calling vendors to confirm service area, relevant experience, availability, pricing process, and the correct decision-maker - Explaining project requirements clearly by phone and email - Sending Google Drive folders, photos, drawings, videos, scopes, or supporting documents - Confirming that the vendor received and can access the project materials - Requesting written estimates, itemized proposals, preliminary pricing, inspection availability, and timelines - Clarifying included and excluded scope, assumptions, warranties, permits, insurance, materials, and payment terms - Following up until the vendor provides a usable answer, quote, appointment, decline, or specific next-step date - Replacing unresponsive or poor-fit vendors instead of leaving assignments indefinitely in “waiting” status - Coordinating approved site visits, consultations, service appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling - Comparing proposals and preparing concise recommendations for the CEO - Tracking orders, returns, refunds, credits, invoices, recurring charges, utilities, service agreements, and document requests - Calling law firms or other professional offices for intake, consultation availability, fees, and scheduling when assigned - Helping coordinate family or household services, classes, appointments, purchases, and other personal-assistant tasks - Maintaining clear Google Sheets trackers without allowing tracker formatting to replace actual execution - Providing concise daily updates showing what was completed, what is pending, the next action, the follow-up date, and what decision or approval is needed Examples of projects may include: - Outdoor construction, canopy, patio, BBQ island, carpentry, or remodeling quotes - HVAC maintenance agreements and facilities vendors - Pool or property safety improvements - Home networking, low-voltage, security, or technology installers - Household service providers and professional-office coordination - Vendor invoices, refunds, subscriptions, utilities, purchases, and document follow-up Required Experience - Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Personal Concierge, Vendor Coordinator, Property Management Assistant, Service Coordinator, Construction Administrative Assistant, or similar role - Real experience making outbound calls to U.S. contractors, service providers, vendors, or professional offices - Strong spoken and written English - Comfortable making repeated follow-ups professionally - Able to handle voicemail, nonresponses, declines, incomplete answers, and difficult-to-reach decision-makers without losing momentum - Strong experience with Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and online research - Able to work focused blocks during U.S. Pacific Time business hours - Able to manage several projects while still identifying and advancing the highest-value priority - Accurate status reporting You must clearly distinguish between: - Researched - Contact attempted - Live conversation completed - Documents sent - Vendor confirmed receipt - Quote promised - Quote received - Appointment confirmed - Completed Good judgment and confidentiality are required. You will sometimes work with personal, household, financial, employee, vendor, or company information. Strong Bonus Experience - Residential construction or remodeling coordination - Property management or facilities coordination - HVAC, contractor, handyman, installer, or maintenance-vendor sourcing - Construction administration or estimating support - Legal intake or professional-office coordination - Service dispatch or appointment coordination - Proposal and quote comparison - Google Workspace administration - Monday.com or ClickUp - JustCall, RingCentral, Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or similar calling systems - Shopify or ecommerce administration - Order, refund, invoice, or recurring-charge follow-up What This Role Is Not - This is not an email-only or non-voice Executive Assistant role - This is not passive research or list building - This is not primarily data entry - This is not a role where most of the paid time should be spent formatting trackers - This is not cold sales, commission sales, or consumer telemarketing - This is not a role where one email is sent and the project is left waiting indefinitely - This is not an independent approval position You may not sign contracts, approve expenses, make payments, schedule paid work, authorize a vendor, or commit the CEO or company without written approval. First Project / Paid Test Finalists will complete a paid practical test based on a controlled vendor-coordination assignment. The test will evaluate whether you can: - Review a project brief quickly - Identify the best initial outreach path - Make professional phone calls using an approved calling setup - Qualify vendors and ask practical questions - Secure written quote commitments or specific next steps - Send concise follow-up emails - Track the work accurately - Report what actually happened without overstating status - Give the CEO a clear recommendation The paid test is designed to measure real execution. A research-only submission or generic phone script will not be sufficient. Proposal Instructions Start your proposal with the words: PHONE FIRST Then answer the following: 1. Describe one real assignment where you personally called multiple contractors, vendors, service providers, or professional offices and moved the assignment to quotes, appointments, or a completed decision. 2. Include the approximate number of calls attempted, live conversations, written quotes or appointments produced, and the final result. 3. State the U.S. Pacific Time hours you can consistently cover. 4. List the calling systems and Google Workspace tools you have used. 5. Confirm that you have a reliable internet connection, quiet calling environment, and are comfortable with frequent vendor calls and follow-up. Do not send a generic proposal focused only on inbox management, research, or data entry. Expected Workload - Initial two-week paid trial - Approximately 10 hours per week during the initial trial - Potential to increase to a maximum of approximately 15 hours per week based on performance and available assignments - Work will generally be completed in focused blocks during Pacific Time business hours - One or two primary projects will normally be prioritized at a time - Upwork time tracking is required - Concise daily reporting is required - No automatic hourly-rate increase Budget / Rate Guidance Target range: $15–$22 per hour depending on directly relevant experience. The likely hiring range is $17–$20 per hour. Candidates requesting the upper end of the range should have recent, verifiable experience producing results through phone-based vendor outreach, quote collection, appointment coordination, and project follow-through. Property Research Assistant: Building a Targeted Homeowner Mailing List

We are a Massachusetts exterior contracting company. We need a careful, patient researcher to build us a qualified homeowner mailing list from public sources.
The work is repetitive and detail-heavy. It is a great fit for someone who likes methodical research and gets satisfaction from a clean spreadsheet. It is a bad fit for someone who wants variety. The process, which we document for you step by step • Work through assigned residential streets in Google Maps, using Street View and satellite imagery. • Assess each home's roof condition against a 1 to 5 scoring guide we provide, with photo examples of each score. • For every property scoring 3 or higher, look up the town assessor record and capture owner name, mailing address, year built, living area, assessed value, and last sale date. • Confirm the property is owner-occupied by checking that the mailing address matches the property address. Drop it if it does not. • Search the town's public permit database for a past roofing permit and record the year, or record that none exists. • Assign a priority tier using our written rules and log everything in a shared tracker. Target output 25 to 35 fully qualified addresses per hour once you are up to speed. We spot-check ten random rows per batch and expect at least eight to be correct. Requirements • Meticulous. This list gets printed and mailed, so a wrong address costs us real money. • Comfortable navigating Google Maps, Street View, and clunky municipal government websites. • Solid spreadsheet skills in Google Sheets. • Able to follow a written SOP exactly and flag anything that does not match it rather than guessing. Important All research is done by hand in a normal browser, using publicly available imagery and public records. No scripting, no scraping, and no automated image collection. We will not use credit data or consumer financial reports for targeting. If you propose an automated shortcut, we will pass. Starting with a paid 5-hour trial batch. Ongoing work for the right person.

OVERVIEW
We're a US medical billing / revenue-cycle company building a targeted outreach list of privately owned outpatient practices that bill medical insurance and use one of five specific software platforms. We need a freshly sourced, verified, deduplicated contact list. This is an open-ended, ongoing engagement, we want to see how many quality contacts you can deliver and at what price per contact. WHO WE'RE TARGETING (all must be true) - US-based, privately owned outpatient practice (solo or multiple providers) - Bills medical insurance (NOT cash-pay / out-of-network only) - Uses at one of these platforms: - SimplePractice - DrChrono (by EverHealth) - Tebra (formerly Kareo / PatientPop) - Ensora Health (formerly Therapy Brands / TheraNest) - Office Ally (incl. Practice Mate / Patient Ally) - Specialties of interest include: behavioral/mental health (therapy, counseling, psychology, psychiatry), rehab therapy (PT/OT/SLP), primary care, family/internal medicine, pediatrics, podiatry, dermatology, orthopedics, chiropractic, urgent care. CONTACT REQUIREMENTS - Named decision-maker preferred: owner, founder, practice manager, office manager, practice administrator, or medical director. - A verified ROLE-BASED practice email is an acceptable fallback where a named contact can't be found - ONE contact per company only. Multiple providers under one practice/organization count as a SINGLE verified email. Dedupe by practice website domain and, where available, by organizational NPI (Type 2). REQUIRED COLUMNS (per row) 1. Practice / organization name 2. Contact first name 3. Contact last name (blank if role-based) 4. Contact title / role 5. Email (verified) 6. Contact type (Named / Role-based) 7. Practice website domain 8. Organizational NPI (Type 2) (where available) 9. Platform + confirmation status e.g. "SimplePractice - confirmed", "DrChrono - confirmed", 10. How platform was confirmed (portal link, site footprint, directory, other - be specific) 11. Bills insurance: Yes / Likely and the basis (e.g. "directory lists accepted payers", "specialty proxy") 12. Specialty 13. City 14. State 15. Phone (optional bonus) 16. Verification tool used + verification date + result VERIFICATION & QUALITY RULES - Emails must be deliverability-validated at the SMTP level (not just format-checked). Deliver the raw verification-tool report (MillionVerifier, ZeroBounce, NeverBounce, or equivalent). - We will re-verify your sample through our own tool before approving any milestone. Sample hard-bounce rate must be under 2%. - FRESHLY SOURCED ONLY. No pre-existing, purchased, scraped-and-resold, or recycled lists. This is a hard disqualifier (recycled lists carry spam traps and will fail our verification). - No patient information of any kind is to be collected or included. This is business-contact data only. STRUCTURE & PRICING - Milestone 1 (this contract): 1,000 verified contacts, fixed price. - Milestone 2+ (ongoing): the remainder at an agreed price PER VERIFIED CONTACT TO BE CONSIDERED, YOUR PROPOSAL MUST INCLUDE 1. Your exact sourcing method and specifically how you confirm (a) that a practice bills insurance, and (b) which of the five platforms it uses. 2. Which verification tool you use, and confirmation you'll deliver the raw report. 3. Your price per verified contact AND your realistic maximum deliverable volume for this exact target. 4. A sample of 5–10 rows matching the spec above. 5. A one-line confirmation that the list will be freshly sourced for this project and is not purchased or resold.

We're an AI automation and systems engineering firm with a US entity in New Jersey. We build custom AI systems for US businesses — Claude and OpenAI-based applications, workflow automation, RAG systems, and agent orchestration. Our work is in production today across construction, recruiting, e-commerce, and insurance.
We have the delivery side handled. What we need is someone in the US who owns the top of the funnel end to end. This is a fractional role, not a full-time one. We want a self-directed operator, not someone who needs a playbook handed to them. What you'll own Prospect research and list building. You define and refine the ICP with us, then build the lists yourself. Copy. You write the sequences. We'll give you technical input on the offer, but the writing is yours. Campaign execution. Sending runs through Instantly. Deliverability, domain and inbox health, warmup, A/B testing, and iteration are yours to manage. Discovery calls. You take the first call, qualify the prospect, and scope the need at a business level. Our technical team joins from the solution call onward. CRM hygiene. Everything lives in GoHighLevel — pipeline stages, follow-ups, and notes kept current. Reporting. What we're selling Custom AI application builds (Claude/OpenAI) Business process automation Claude deployment and setup for teams AI systems and agents What we're looking for Proven B2B outbound experience, ideally selling technology or AI/software services — you should be able to point to campaigns you ran and the numbers they produced Comfortable running a discovery call with a business owner or operator without a technical background of your own — you need to ask good questions and know when to bring us in Hands-on with cold email infrastructure: sending domains, warmup, deliverability, list hygiene Enough working knowledge of AI/automation to hold a credible first conversation. You don't need to be technical, but you can't be a stranger to the space. Self-managing. We're not going to check your hours; we're going to look at meetings booked. We have an in-house marketing resource on our team (currently running our SEO and backlinking work) who can take defined, specced-out tasks off your plate — list pulls, enrichment passes, CRM data entry. If you can write the brief, they can execute it. Tooling We provide the Instantly and GoHighLevel accounts, and you'll be on our Microsoft Teams for daily communication. If you need a data or enrichment tool you're used to working with (Apollo, Clay, or similar), tell us and we'll subscribe to it. Screening Questions 1. Walk us through one B2B cold email campaign you ran end to end — the ICP, where the list came from, how the sequence was structured, and the actual reply and meeting-booked rates. Real numbers, please. 2. What sending and enrichment stack have you personally operated, and how do you handle domain warmup and deliverability when scaling volume? 3. We sell custom AI builds and automation to US businesses. Pick the one vertical you'd go after first, say why in a sentence, and write the opening two lines of the cold email you'd send. 4. This role includes taking the discovery call yourself. Tell us how you qualify a prospect who says they "want AI" but can't articulate the problem.

I’m an agency owner building a team of high-skill ad operators. I’m looking for one solo contractor (not an agency, not outsourcing) who can run paid ads maintenance consistently and cleanly. I'm looking for intermediate/senior level ad managers.
What you’ll do (no client-facing work) You will be responsible for maintenance + execution support on Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts, including: Ongoing monitoring (delivery issues, disapprovals, billing/payment errors, pacing anomalies) Negative list building + routine optimization tasks Catching tracking issues (flagging them fast — not fixing complex tracking builds) Executing defined “tasks” for the pod leader (implementation tasks, reporting updates, documentation, etc.) Proactively flagging issues + opportunities What you will NOT have to do: No client meetings No client communication No “account setup from scratch” unless we explicitly agree No managing client expectations This role essentially takes the hardest part out of ad management - meeting and dealing with clients, so you can focus on the ads. Compensation (scales with accounts you manage) This is percentage-based pay tied to the accounts you maintain, with a bonus for retention/quality: Base pay: 10% of gross monthly revenue from the accounts you’re assigned Retention/quality bonus: +5% of your assigned revenue when there are no preventable errors like massive overspend or ads being down for multiple days without notice. Pay timing: paid monthly by the 4th for the prior month. Requirements Proven experience in Google Ads + Meta Ads and willingness to be trained You know how to keep accounts stable, scaling, and clean — “set and forget” doesn’t work here You can work autonomously and follow checklists / SOPs You are responsive when something is on fire Hard filters (read carefully) If you are an agency or an outsourcer, do not apply. No AI-written responses. If it looks AI-generated, I will ignore it. To apply, answer these (short + specific) How many active Google Ads + Meta Ads accounts do you personally maintain right now? What is your current capacity in terms of weekly hours? Confirm you are a solo operator and will not outsource any work.

I’m looking for someone who can quickly build targeted lists of people on LinkedIn who are actively Open to Work.
This will start as a small, quick project, but I am specifically looking for someone we can work with long term. If you can consistently deliver accurate lists, there will be ongoing list-building work available. REQUIRED: LinkedIn Recruiter Access You must already have access to the LinkedIn subscription that allows you to filter candidates by Open to Work status (full LinkedIn Recruiter). Do not apply if you only have standard LinkedIn, LinkedIn Premium, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter Lite and cannot directly filter for Open-to-Work candidates. We are not providing the LinkedIn Recruiter subscription. You must already have access. What You’ll Do Build targeted lists of candidates who are currently Open to Work Strong preference for profiles displaying the public green #OpenToWork profile photo frame Filter by location, experience, education, industry, job title, and other criteria we provide Provide direct LinkedIn profile URLs Deliver clean Google Sheets/CSVs Remove duplicates and irrelevant profiles Turn around lists quickly This is list building only. You do not need to message or recruit candidates. To Apply Start your application with: “I HAVE LINKEDIN RECRUITER” Then tell me: Which LinkedIn subscription do you currently have? Can you directly filter candidates by Open to Work status? Can you identify profiles with the public green #OpenToWork frame? Approximately how many qualified profiles can you source per hour? Briefly explain your process. This starts as a small, quick paid project. If you perform well, I’m looking to turn this into consistent, long-term work with significantly more lists.

We're a small B2B software and done-for-you service company. Our clients are organizations running time-sensitive outreach programs, and our busiest stretch runs through early November. Right now the owner is closing every deal himself — that's the bottleneck we're hiring you to remove.
This is NOT cold calling. Leads come to you already warm. HOW A DEAL ACTUALLY WORKS 1. We do the outbound. Interested prospects reply and land in our CRM (Close) as a lead. 2. You run a 15-20 minute discovery call: what they're trying to accomplish, their timeline, their budget. 3. Our team builds their target list and hands you an exact count and an exact price before the follow-up. You send a proposal (PandaDoc) and walk them through it. 4. They sign and pay. An account manager takes over delivery. Deal sizes run roughly $250 to $1,250. Our lead-to-customer rate is about 1 in 4, so these calls convert. There are also ~70 warm deals sitting in the pipeline right now waiting on follow-up, plus a base of past clients who buy repeatedly. That's your first week of work — not a cold start. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Discovery calls with inbound leads - Sending and walking prospects through proposals - Working the existing warm pipeline - Keeping Close CRM accurate - Handling the one objection that comes up constantly: "your competitor is cheaper." We have a specific, provable answer and we'll train you on it. That answer is the whole sale. WHAT WE PROVIDE - Warm inbound leads. No prospecting, no list building. - A written onboarding pack: pricing, the competitive argument, objection handling, proposal walkthrough - Scripts and templates already built - Exact numbers and pricing for every prospect before you get on the call COMPENSATION - $22-28/hour depending on experience - 20-25 hours/week to start, scaling up through October as revenue grows - 8% commission on collected revenue from new business you close - 5% on repeat purchases from existing clients - $200 bonus for every week the company beats its weekly revenue target Commission is paid on collected revenue, not signed contracts. We're straightforward about that: you get paid when we get paid. REQUIREMENTS - US-based. Hard requirement — your prospects are US decision-makers and domestic phone presence matters for this sale. - Phone closing experience on deals in the hundreds-to-low-thousands range - Comfortable with CRM hygiene. If it isn't in Close, it didn't happen. - Available to start this week and be onboarded by Sept 20 - We'll teach you the category. We can't teach you how to close. WHY THE URGENCY Our selling window closes in early November and we're already inside it. We're interviewing immediately and want someone onboarded by Sept 20. The role continues past November — we have off-season business and we're expanding into two adjacent markets. TO APPLY Answer the three questions. Applications that skip them won't be reviewed. This is not a lead-list-building role. We need a closer who takes ownership of the conversation and the result. What you will sell NIKSI connects contractors, homeowners, investors, realtors, lenders, designers, engineers, stagers, and other service providers. Depending on the plan, members can receive benefits such as: • A professional business profile and visibility to consumers and service providers • Access to a construction and real-estate service-provider network • Opportunities to bid on or post projects • Fresh homeowner leads and project-finder tools on eligible plans • Wholesale marketplace access for investors and related professionals • CRM/business-operation benefits on selected professional plans • Weekly meetings with the founder and other service providers • Property-listing and other industry-specific benefits • Monthly or discounted annual membership options Current paid plans include contractor and professional tiers ranging from entry-level plans to Pro, Hero, Investor, Realtor, Lender, Designer, Engineer, and Stager memberships. Your responsibilities • Work assigned leads inside GoHighLevel every day • Call prospects, qualify their needs, and recommend the most suitable membership • Conduct clear discovery and sales conversations by phone or video • Explain value in practical business terms, not generic sales language • Handle objections, follow up consistently, and ask for the sale • Guide qualified prospects through registration and payment • Keep every contact, note, task, disposition, follow-up date, and pipeline stage accurate in GoHighLevel • Report activity, close rate, collected revenue, objections, and feedback • Follow approved scripts and improve them using real call data Compensation • $5–$10 USD per hour through Upwork • 50% commission for each completed, collected membership sale • Commission is subject to the agreed plan, refund/chargeback rules, and will be paid through Upwork • Long-term opportunity with greater responsibility for consistent performers Who we want • Proven success closing outbound or follow-up sales by phone • Strong English communication and professional call presence • Experience selling B2B SaaS, subscriptions, memberships, agency services, construction services, or real-estate services • Comfortable using GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM • Persistent without being pushy; organized, coachable, ethical, and reliable • Able to work independently and follow up until there is a clear outcome • Available for meaningful overlap with Phoenix, Arizona business hours This is not a beginner role. Do not apply if you avoid calls, dislike CRM accountability, or expect to be paid without measurable activity and follow-up. How to apply Please answer these questions in your proposal: 1. What product or service have you personally closed, at what price, and what were your measurable results? 2. How many live sales conversations can you handle per day, and what is your normal follow-up process? 3. What experience do you have with GoHighLevel or another CRM? 4. Why are contractors or real-estate professionals a good fit for your sales background? 5. Confirm that you understand the compensation: $5–$10/hour plus 50% commission on completed, collected membership sales. Please review the attached NIKSI Membership Training document before interviewing. We will ask specific questions about the platform, the target customers, and how you would position the membership. Fluent spoken English and a completed voice screen are required. We will invite only candidates who complete and pass the recording screen to a live audio interview on Upwork.
Mr. Lawnmower is a Toronto-based landscaping and commercial snow removal company. We are hiring one remote B2B cold caller to contact property managers using a prospect list we provide. The initial focus is commercial snow removal and ice management across the Greater Toronto Area. This is outbound calling and appointment setting, not consumer sales, list building, or a voice-over project. THE ROLE - Call property managers and identify the person responsible for service contracts. - Learn about their properties, current arrangements, renewal timing, and interest. - Handle objections professionally and arrange qualified follow-ups for our sales team. - Keep accurate CRM notes and follow-up records. - Respect requests not to be contacted and follow our calling instructions. WHAT WE NEED - Fluent, easily understood spoken English and a natural, professional phone manner. - Proven B2B cold-calling or appointment-setting experience. - Confidence speaking with decision-makers, listening, and responding without sounding robotic. - Reliable internet, a headset, and a quiet workspace. - Availability for agreed calling hours within 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday to Friday. - Experience using CRM or dialer tools. We assess communication skills, not nationality or accent. Applicants from any location are welcome if they meet the role and schedule requirements. PAY AND TERM USD $8-$13 per hour, based on experience and fit. Less than 30 hours/week. Initial engagement: 3-6 months, with a potential longer-term opportunity. One person needed. Please state your weekly availability; hours will be agreed before starting. REQUIRED VOICE SCREEN: 90-120 SECONDS This is a brief recorded interview to assess your spoken communication, not a request for unpaid prospect calls or other project work. The recording is for hiring evaluation only and will not be used commercially. Any trial work requires a paid Upwork contract. Record in your own voice on your phone or computer, somewhere quiet. No background music, AI-generated speech, voice alteration, or another person reading for you. Use a natural conversational pace. Directions in [brackets] are not spoken. All scenario figures below are fictional. Please complete all seven parts in one recording: 1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF "Hi, my name is [your name]. I am based in [your city and country], and my time zone is [your time zone]." 2. OPEN A CALL [speak as if addressing a property manager] "Good morning, this is Alex with Mr. Lawnmower in Toronto. Do you have thirty seconds? We provide commercial snow removal and ice management across the GTA. Are you the person who manages winter contracts for your properties?" 3. RESPOND TO AN OBJECTION [the prospect says, "We already have a contractor"] "Absolutely. When is your current agreement up for renewal? If useful, we could prepare a comparison quote. Would you be open to a brief follow-up?" 4. READ CLEARLY [do your best with the place names] "Etobicoke. Mississauga. Vaughan. Scarborough. North York. Oakville. Ontario. Asphalt. De-icing. Salting. Liability insurance. Condominium corporation. Property management portfolio. Per-event pricing. Seasonal contract." 5. READ THESE FIGURES "The site is approximately 4,500 square metres. The contract runs from November 1st to April 15th. The total is $18,750 plus HST, billed over five monthly payments. The reference number is 224." 6. LEAVE A MOCK VOICEMAIL "Hi, this is Alex with Mr. Lawnmower about your commercial winter maintenance. I am following up to find out when you review snow service proposals. Thank you." 7. SPEAK IN YOUR OWN WORDS [about 15 seconds, no script] Why would you be good at this role, and how do you stay professional after rejection? HOW TO APPLY Begin your proposal with "VOICE SCREEN INCLUDED" and attach your recording as an MP3 or M4A using Upwork's proposal attachments. If the upload option is unavailable, state that your recording is ready so we can request it through Upwork Messages. Do not include personal contact details or move the application off Upwork. Also include: - Your time zone, exact weekday availability in Eastern Time, and hours available per week. - Your internet setup, headset, and quiet-workspace arrangement. - Your B2B calling experience and CRM/dialer tools used. - Your hourly rate in USD. PASS-BEFORE-INTERVIEW PROCESS We review the recording for English fluency and intelligibility, natural delivery, clear pronunciation and numbers, and your unscripted answer. Completing the recording does not automatically qualify you. Only candidates who pass the voice screen and meet the role requirements will be invited to a live Upwork audio interview. Applications without a completed recording will not advance to that interview. Client's questions:

Cold Caller / Appointment Setter Needed – Commercial Cleaning
Remote | Ongoing Work | Performance-Based Pay We are a UK-based commercial cleaning company looking for a reliable and experienced cold caller / appointment setter to help us generate new commercial cleaning opportunities. Your main goal will be to research suitable businesses, cold call them, qualify them and book appointments for our team. 🎯 Your Target We are looking for someone who can consistently book around 3 qualified appointments per day. The calling itself should generally take around 1–3 hours per day, depending on your calling volume and performance. We will provide you with the dialer, but you will be responsible for finding and researching suitable businesses online before calling them. 🏢 Businesses We Want You To Target You MUST only target: * Commercial offices * Estate agents / property agencies/ Site Mangers Please do not call: * ❌ Restaurants * ❌ Pubs * ❌ Cafes * ❌ Takeaways * ❌ Shops * ❌ Residential customers * ❌ Any other type of business We are specifically looking for office and estate-agent cleaning contracts. 📍 Target Areas You will be calling businesses in the following areas: * Ascot * Windsor * Slough * Maidenhead * Egham * Virginia Water * Sunningdale You will need to research businesses online, identify the appropriate contact person or decision-maker where possible, and then call them using our provided dialer. 💰 Payment We will pay: £15 per qualified appointment booked. There is no payment for appointments that do not meet our eligibility criteria. This is a performance-based opportunity, so the better you perform, the more you can earn. For example: 3 qualified appointments per day × £15 = £45/day ✅ Appointment Eligibility For an appointment to qualify for payment: 1. The prospect must be a commercial office or estate agent. 2. The business must be located within our target areas. 3. They must have a genuine need or potential need for commercial cleaning. 4. The cleaning requirement must be for at least 4 hours per day. 5. The appointment must be genuine and confirmed — no fake, duplicate or unqualified bookings. We are NOT looking for meetings with businesses outside these criteria. Quality is more important than simply booking a high number of appointments. 📞 What You Will Do Your daily responsibilities will include: * Researching suitable businesses online * Finding office and estate-agent prospects * Finding relevant contact details * Cold calling prospects using our dialer * Speaking confidently with business owners, managers or decision-makers * Explaining our commercial cleaning service * Qualifying their cleaning requirements * Asking about their current cleaning arrangements and requirements * Confirming that the requirement meets our criteria * Booking appointments directly for our team * Keeping accurate records of calls and appointments * Reporting your results at the end of each working session ⭐ Who We Are Looking For The ideal person will: * Have previous cold calling / appointment setting experience * Be confident speaking to businesses * Have good spoken English * Be comfortable making cold calls * Know how to handle rejection and objections * Be able to research businesses independently * Be organised and reliable * Focus on quality appointments rather than just making calls * Ideally have experience with B2B sales, commercial cleaning, facilities management, estate agents or local business lead generation Previous experience setting appointments for UK businesses would be a strong advantage. 🕐 Time Commitment We expect the work to take approximately 1–3 hours per day, depending on performance. Our initial target is: 3 qualified appointments per day.
