OVERVIEW
We’re a growing multi-entity hospitality group in Puerto Rico (tours + restaurant) and we’re adding a holding company (Isla Viva). We already have internal bookkeepers. We’re hiring a Fractional Controller to own close discipline, ensure accuracy, publish management reporting, and support forecasting and advisory. You’ll present results directly to the owner and help drive decisions.

Note: You will be responsible for reporting in FathomHQ. Prior Fathom experience is preferred, but not required if you can learn it quickly.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Oversee and review internal bookkeepers (standards, reconciliations, completeness)

Set and manage the close calendar (bank/credit cards/loans; balance sheet integrity)

Build and maintain multi-entity dashboards and KPIs in FathomHQ

REPORTING
Flash report by the 5th (calendar day)

Final monthly package by the 10th business day (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, KPI dashboard + brief variance notes)

Monthly advisory call: what happened, why it matters, what to do next

Forecasting: 13-week cash flow (weekly updates) + rolling 12-month forecast (monthly updates)

SYSTEMS
QuickBooks Online Advanced (QBO), FathomHQ, ADP, Slack.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Controller / Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant experience

Strong month-end close ownership and reconciliation discipline

Experience supervising bookkeepers and enforcing deadlines

Comfortable with forecasting, cash flow projections, and variance analysis

Hospitality/tourism experience is a plus
