I just was extremely communicative, told him when I was getting close on hours, offered many iterations, asked clarifying questions and was a really good sport about all of it. It isn’t about the money to me since it was a low payment to begin with but I really don’t want this to negatively affect my profile or my reviews. I’m a highly motivated individual with a stellar resume and I think unfortunately I just signed up to work with the wrong person and a bad contract. I really do wish Ben and his team the best.

Primary Workstreams & Responsibilities
1) Webinars (Build + Promo) — Primary Focus
You will own the end-to-end coordination and execution of:
Educational webinars
Investor webinars / raise webinars
Office Hours sessions
Investor Orientation sessions
Key responsibilities include:
Build webinar timelines and ensure every step is executed on schedule
Set up Zoom Webinars/Meetings and coordinate all webinar logistics
Coordinate registration workflows (landing page → confirmation → reminder emails → replay) with internal web dev and design team
Ensure link integrity, correct time zones, formatting, and mobile responsiveness
Coordinate deliverables from internal team members (deck readiness, promo focus, notes, approvals)
2) Email Marketing (ActiveCampaign)
You will execute and maintain Grocapitus email marketing workflows across ongoing campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
Build and schedule ActiveCampaign email campaigns (invites, reminders, replays, promo emails)
QA formatting, links, and mobile presentation before launch
Maintain segmentation, tagging logic, and automation consistency
Monitor list health signals (unsubscribes, engagement trends, delivery issues)
Support internal optimization through testing + documentation
3) Reports & Analytics
You will support weekly and monthly reporting cadences and ensure the marketing team has clean visibility into performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintain performance reporting workflows across:
Update and monitor Looker Studio dashboards (as assigned)
Maintain underlying Google Sheets used for reporting system
Identify gaps in tracking and flag anomalies early
4) Systems & Process / SOP Ownership
This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the systems that keep marketing execution reliable.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintain internal SOPs and workflow documentation
Improve handoff clarity between team members using structured processes
Ensure repeatable campaign builds with minimal errors
Assist in organizing and cleaning operational processes over time
Build efficiency into recurring workstreams (templates, checklists, QA steps)
5) Facebook Ads Support (Coordination + Reporting)
You will support Facebook advertising workflows as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate assets and tracking requirements for ad launches to our Ads Manager
Maintain reporting alignment and tracking structure
Assist in weekly monitoring and reporting readiness
Support lead-based performance tracking (CPL, leads, campaign integrity)
6) Events & Conference Coordination
You will support operational planning and coordination for conferences and events where our CEO is a presenter.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate speaker appearance planning timelines and logistics
Manage internal task trackers for event deliverables
Support event promotion workflows (as assigned)
Ensure post-event marketing follow-through is completed
