We have a live Go service that powers our AI automation workflows. We're looking for a senior Go engineer to review the current implementation and ship a focused set of improvements - this is a review plus hands-on coding engagement, not audit-only.
What you'll do:
- Review our existing Go codebase and AI automation flow, then share a short list of concrete improvement points
- Implement the agreed fixes directly in the codebase:
- Refactor the LLM integration layer (cleaner abstraction, structured request/response handling)
- Add proper retries, timeouts, context cancellation, and rate-limit handling
- Improve error handling and add meaningful logging around AI calls
- Tighten endpoint/handler structure and response consistency
- Add basic unit tests for the changed logic
- Deliver a short summary of changes made and any recommended next steps
Requirements:
- Strong production Go experience (goroutines, channels, context, interfaces, REST APIs)
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI / Anthropic / similar), including structured output
- Comfortable reading an unfamiliar codebase and improving it without breaking existing behavior
- Git workflow, clean commits, clear PR descriptions
- Nice to have: Docker, PostgreSQL, queue/worker patterns
Deliverables:
- Reviewed and refactored Go code merged via pull request
- Unit tests for updated components
- Brief written summary of improvements and recommendations
Small, clearly scoped task. When applying, please include a one-paragraph note on a Go + AI/LLM project you've worked on and your approach to reviewing an existing codebase.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the evolution of our next-generation Web3 gaming platform.

Location preference: NAMER, LATAM, EMEA, Oceania (primarily Australia & New Zealand), Bangladesh, and Egypt.
The goal is to enhance our existing AI system so it operates as a truly production-grade platform. Today the core models are live, but our pipelines and governance layers lag behind the growing usage of generative AI. I need someone who has already shipped real-world solutions across the full stack—model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement—and can drop straight into an AWS SageMaker environment.
Key focus areas
• Model lifecycle: automate versioning, lineage, and rollback using GitLab CI/CD and Prefect orchestration.
• Quality & evaluation: set up repeatable LLM evaluation suites, RAG benchmarks, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) review loops so we know precisely how each release performs.
• Data layer: tighten integration between Snowflake and SageMaker feature stores while enforcing governance and observability best practices.
• Runtime reliability: implement comprehensive monitoring (latency, cost, drift) and alerting, surfacing metrics via built-in SageMaker tools or open-source alternatives.
I am comfortable iterating in weekly milestones; each milestone should ship demonstrable value—whether that is an automated training pipeline, a new evaluation harness, or a dashboard proving lineage coverage. You will have direct access to existing repos, AWS accounts, and data warehouse connections, and can propose additional tooling if justified.
Please respond with one or two concrete examples where you improved a production AI or LLM system end-to-end, the stack you used, and how you measured success. Code samples or links to public talks/posts are a plus. Looking forward to collaborating on a rock-solid, observable, and easily deployable ML/LLM platform.

I have a Go WebSocket server that handles real-time communication for a chat application. The server works fine initially but after 4-6 hours of operation, memory usage gradually climbs from ~200MB to over 2GB, eventually crashing with OOM (out of memory) errors.
I suspect goroutine leaks where WebSocket connections aren't being properly closed or cleaned up when clients disconnect. The server uses the gorilla/websocket package with custom connection management.
What I need:
Diagnose the root cause of the memory leak
Identify where goroutines or resources are not being released
Implement proper connection cleanup using context cancellation and defer statements
Add proper read/write deadlines to prevent hanging connections
Test the fix with simulated concurrent connections to verify memory stabilizes

For that, we're looking for a Senior Go Backend Engineer as an hourly contractor. You'll primarily evolve our Go services: more venues, more peak load, new integrations, tougher reliability. Where it makes sense, you'll also pitch in on the web frontend (Angular 21, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS). You'll work remotely in a small senior team directly with our Tech Lead, help shape architecture decisions, and ship in short cycles. AI tools like Claude Code are part of our everyday work.
This is not a one-off task but a long-term engagement, with the goal of a permanent role in our core team.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Go
- Design and implement performant, idiomatic REST APIs, including interfaces to internal and external systems as well as web and mobile clients
- Take responsibility for transactional data: payments and credits without data loss, even at peak load
- Performance and error monitoring, bug fixing, and optimization of existing services regarding performance, concurrency, and resource consumption, especially SQL queries and database interfaces
- Light fullstack component: implement smaller features and adjustments in the web frontend end-to-end
- Ensure code quality: code reviews, unit and integration tests, best practices, and adherence to existing guidelines
- Contribute to architecture decisions and the further development of our CI/CD pipeline
### Requirements
- At least three to five years of professional backend experience; strong command of Go and SQL
- Solid experience with REST and API-driven applications, from API design to consuming external APIs
- Awareness of transactional data and the risks of data loss or outages

- At least four hours of daily overlap with our core hours (CET) and reliable, self-directed communication
Nice-to-have:
- Production experience with Docker and Linux
- Experience on the web frontend, ideally with Angular, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- First experience with webhooks, caching, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis)
### Terms
- **Engagement:** independent contractor, billed hourly via Upwork
- **Rate:** €50–70 per hour (depending on experience)
- **Workload:** 30–40 hours per week, reliably available
- **Duration:** long-term, with the option of a permanent engagement
- **Location:** fully remote; optional visits to our Düsseldorf office are welcome
- **Start:** by arrangement, ideally soon
### How to Apply
Keep it short and specific:
1. Two to three sentences about a Go backend you built, including load or transaction context
2. Your target hourly rate and weekly availability
3. Links to code, projects

Web, Mobile & Software Dev, Desktop Application Development
We are building a next-generation EVM-based ecosystem and are looking for a talented Backend Engineer to help develop and scale our platform. This role involves designing and building high-performance backend services, APIs, and infrastructure that power our trading systems, staking mechanisms, blockchain integrations, and overall protocol functionality.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend development using Node.js or Golang, be comfortable working with distributed and data-intensive systems, and maintain high standards for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer to develop scalable backend systems using GoLang. You'll work on designing and implementing microservices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high performance and reliability. This role involves mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural discussions.
We are looking for an Agentic Lead Engineer to help shape the next generation of our platform. This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain a traditional Rails product all day. Rails is part of our system, but the center of gravity for this role is our new architecture: TypeScript services, durable workflows, event-driven payments infrastructure, agent-assisted engineering, and production systems where correctness matters.
You will lead from the front: designing systems, reviewing architecture, raising engineering quality, and using AI agents as a serious force multiplier rather than a novelty.
You will help build and lead work across:
- Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript frontend surfaces for creators, buyers, affiliates, and internal operations
- Bun/TypeScript services for payout, affiliate, webhook delivery, contact sync, event schemas, and service orchestration
- Restate durable workflows for money movement, idempotency, retries, and long-running business processes
- Hono, Drizzle, Postgres, Zod, AJV for typed service APIs and strict event contracts
- Supabase/PostgREST for community and gamification surfaces
- Stripe Connect payment and payout flows
- EventBridge/SQS/outbox patterns for reliable domain events
- OpenTelemetry and Aient for trace-driven debugging and production insight
- Playwright, Vitest, Docker Compose E2E stacks for high-confidence delivery
- Terraform/ECS/GitHub Actions for cloud infrastructure and deployment
You take full ownership from code to production. That means you do not stop at merging a PR: you understand how the service is built, deployed, observed, debugged, and rolled back. You are comfortable crossing the boundary between application code, infrastructure, CI/CD, runtime configuration, logs, traces, alerts, and production incidents.
You will also help us become excellent at agentic software engineering: decomposing work for AI agents, reviewing their output rigorously, enforcing standards, and using automation to move faster without lowering the bar.

I need a lightweight proof-of-concept that demonstrates an end-to-end OAuth 2.0 flow against a real healthcare EMR, then uses the granted token to call the FHIR Patient endpoint. The aim is simple: confirm that system-to-system (backend) credentials can be exchanged for an access token and that—with that token—I can reliably pull a single Patient resource when I supply either the patient’s MRN or their ID.
Here is how I picture the work:
• Implement the OAuth 2.0 client IN GO using the EMR vendor’s documented authorization-code or client-credentials flow (whichever the API allows for backend access).
• Once authenticated, call the FHIR /Patient search endpoint twice—first filtering by identifier type “MRN”, then by the native “ID”—and return the JSON response untouched.
• Wrap the calls in a minimal web or command-line app so I can enter credentials, request scopes, and see the raw request/response pairs in real time (curl traces or similar are fine).
• Keep the code clean and self-contained; language choice is open as long as common libraries are used (e.g., GO, with OAuth requests + requests-oauthlib, Node.js with axios, With OAuth2).
PLEASE NOTE!!!, I expect you to know how to do it so I can learn, I have never done OUTH though have experience retrieving FHIR Resoures. That experience is about 10 years old. So I will be refresshing my knowledge also. You will need to get your own free Cerner sandbox account and use it for testing. I want to know where the various env valuse need to make the login call come from so I can put my values in the correct ENVs you set up using yours. I will use mine for testing and the final acceptance test with a customers live test system.
Acceptance is straightforward: Using Make I can build the go app from the github repository. I run the app with my sandbox credentials, OAuth succeeds, and I receive the proper Patient resource for both identifier types—no manual tweaks required.
