I’m ready to take my neighbourhood bakery online and need a clean, reliable ecommerce site that lets customers buy directly from us. The store will feature two main product ranges—our daily-baked breads and pastries, plus our crowd-favourite cakes and desserts—so the browsing experience has to be as tempting as the treats themselves.
Core needs
• A product catalogue that can showcase flavours, sizes and mouth-watering photos
• Simple stock management so I can mark items as sold out or add a fresh batch in seconds
• Secure checkout with a mainstream gateway (PayPal, Stripe or your recommended alternative)
• Mobile-first design; most of my shoppers place orders from their phones
• Basic on-page SEO settings so locals can find us when they search for “fresh sourdough near me”
• Clear path for adding seasonal or custom items without calling a developer every time
Deliverables
1. Fully functional ecommerce site deployed to my hosting or a suggested managed platform
2. Admin login details plus a short walkthrough (video or live) showing how to add products, change prices and process orders
3. One round of post-launch tweaks to fix any niggles that appear in the first two weeks
I already have product photos, brand colours and copy ready to go, so once we agree on a layout we can move quickly. Let me know your preferred tech stack and an estimated timeline to get this oven-fresh site live.

Shopify technical updates
1. Homepage hero / mobile performance
- Optimise homepage loading speed, particularly on mobile.
- Compress/resize oversized hero and product imagery where appropriate without noticeably reducing image quality.
- The homepage previously used a three-slide slideshow. I have now hidden the additional slides and am using one image only. Please check whether the slideshow module is still loading unnecessary assets/scripts and, if so, advise whether it should be replaced with a simple single-image banner.
- I would ideally like the ability to upload separate desktop and mobile hero imagery so I can control the crop properly.
2. Homepage heading structure
- Ensure the homepage contains only one H1.
- The large artist statement I have added to the homepage should be the H1.
- Check that the old/hidden slideshow headings are no longer outputting H1 tags.
3. Full Gallery filters
- The Full Gallery already has an existing filter drawer showing Availability and Price.
- I’d like to extend this using my existing product tags/categorisation where possible.
- Initial filters are likely to be:
-- Orientation: Portrait / Landscape / Square
-- Style / Subject Matter, using existing classifications once confirmed.
- Please don’t create or rename categories independently. If the existing data needs restructuring first, please let me know.
- No Full Gallery redesign is required as part of this task.
4. Mobile popup / teaser overlap
- The existing popup/teaser currently overlaps product information/controls on mobile.
- Please ensure it doesn’t obstruct variant selectors, pricing, reviews/content or horizontal scrolling.
- If this needs to be changed within Klaviyo rather than Shopify/theme code, please let me know.
5. Cart shipping message
- Fix/remove wording such as “Shipping calculated at checkout” where it conflicts with the site’s free Australia-wide delivery messaging.
- Please flag any replacement wording for my approval if required.
6. Footer policy links
Please ensure the footer contains working links for:
- Privacy Policy
- Terms & Conditions
- Shipping & Returns
Please use existing pages where available rather than creating new policy content.
7. Font sizing / mobile legibility
- The audit flagged some text below 16px across navigation, popup, footer and buttons.
- Please identify the affected elements but don’t make blanket font-size changes without checking with me first.
- Where something is genuinely difficult to read on mobile, please recommend the change and I can review it visually before implementation.
8. Broken links / errors
- Fix identified broken links and 4XX errors, including any remaining /false or incorrect “View all” links.
- Check that homepage collection links resolve correctly.
9. Technical SEO fixes
The audit identified:
- duplicate meta descriptions;
- pages missing H1 headings;
- poorly formatted URLs requiring 301 redirects;
- short title tags;
- broken links/4XX errors;
- homepage meta-title/meta-description setup.
I don’t need SEO or brand copy written. Please implement the technical changes where the required wording/URL is already clear. Where you need new wording from me, please send me a list and I’ll supply it.
Any URL changes should include the appropriate 301 redirects.
Testing / working method:
Please make changes in the unpublished duplicate theme wherever possible rather than the live theme.
If anything is store-wide and will affect the live site regardless of theme, please let me know before making the change.
Before anything is published, I’d like to review the site on desktop and mobile, including the homepage, Full Gallery, a product page and cart.

Our site is high-traffic and business-critical. The immediate priority is making it fully dynamic and genuinely self-serviceable. Whatever you build — theme sections, templates, landing pages — must be easy for our internal team to edit through the Shopify admin. We don't want to raise a dev ticket (or wait on you) every time a banner, headline, image, or section order needs to change.
Practically, that means:
• Content, copy, images, links, and layout options exposed as theme settings and section blocks — not hardcoded
• Templates built so a non-technical team member can duplicate them and build a new page or product page without touching code
• Clear, sensibly labelled settings in the customiser (no cryptic field names)
• Short handover notes or a Loom for anything non-obvious
Beyond that, you'll handle ongoing changes, new features, and improvements.
What we need from you
• Proven experience with high-traffic Shopify stores
• Strong grasp of industry best practices (performance, security, accessibility, maintainable code)
• Solid understanding of technical SEO — your work must never harm rankings (Core Web Vitals, structured data, clean markup, redirects etc.)
• A rigorous QA process so deliverables consistently match requirements the first time
• Fast turnaround — minimal lead time when we request changes or new features
How we'll work
Ongoing engagement (hourly or retainer). We'll start with a smaller task to assess quality, turnaround, and communication before scaling up. All major new pages, product templates & design request comes with the full XD file, so you'll have the complete spec up front.
To apply, please include:
Examples of high-traffic Shopify stores you've built or maintained
• An example of a theme section or template you've built that a non-technical client edits themselves
• A brief description of your QA process
• Your typical turnaround time for:
- small change requests
- new product pages
- landing pages
• Your availability and preferred communication setup

- Site multilingue via Polylang.
Hi team, my goal is to optimize sales on my Shopify store and also put categories and new arrivals to make the website more enticing. I would like to also add Google reviews at the bottom of the homepage. I would need to know if all the inventory information would be saved because I’d hate to have to redo all of that again.
Thank you in advance.

I have 3 websites and I am looking to maintain them - I already have a well defined scope of work and iterations/corrections that are needed. The sites are built on a WordPress platform and WooCommerce and AffiliateWP plugins are already in place. I am looking for someone who knows these plugins extremely well.
WooCommerce:
I have thousands of products, that I set up through Word Press All Import (WPAI) but I need to be able to run reports with Orders that allow you to view Orders, Customers and stock. Receive these Daily reports, so I can fulfill these orders and ship them out to customers. I need to know gross, net sales, taxes and volume on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as well. All of this reporting comes with WooCommerce, but I need this reporting to be set up so that I can access and run these reports.
I also have a charitable component to two of the sites and when products are purchased 5-10% of the proceeds will go to a user/members choice of 100 types of charities that can be donated and this is tied into my orders already, but I also need to run month end reports to know which charities user/members selected, and the amounts that were contributed to so that I can then donate to these charities accordingly.
AffilateWP:
I have this plugin for an referral/affiliate program to grow the site organically (giving members back a % of the sales for people they've referred).. You must really know this program, as while I do have a lot of it built out, I still need a payout system in place where I can ACH user/members that have earned and deserve to get paid for referring members!
WordPress:
The site is built in WordPress that and it is already up and running on a staging server which whomever I choose to work with us will be working on. I may look to change the theme and main pictures on occasion that is why I would like someone who is also proficient with design and can recommend and try out different themes. I think it can be more finessed to come across more attractively to a more sophisticated audience and a welcoming customer friendly experience.
WordPress All Import:
You must know this program/app/plugin extremely well, as here is where I import products from partner .csv files and on occasion they do not turn out the way it was envisioned and you need to be available to make corrections on the fly.
I look forward to sharing this scope of work, as it is just a matter of putting ongoing finishing touches on the site and I want to work with a small monthly retainer that can grow into more projects in time. That is why it is so important for me to find someone who is skilled in these areas, so that they're not wasting time educating themselves and becoming frustrated by the amount of their own time spent, but rather someone who really knows these plugins and can be proactive in knowing what is best, rather than just reactive to my corrections and iterations.
I look forward to sharing this scope of work with you and then coming up with an agreed upon budget with milestones and timeline for completion.
Do well and there can definitely be ongoing work, as once this site proves itself (probably after 6-9 more months of it being up and running) I envision a bigger site with much more products!

Hi,
I came across your profile and was impressed by your experience in e-commerce. We are looking for an experienced trainer to guide our team on Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho seller operations, including product listings, SEO, inventory management, advertising, and overall account growth.
If you're interested, I'd love to discuss the project with you. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I need an experienced Shopify developer to help with the revamp project. The scope is well-defined and with clear direction. However, the developer must be able to work independently and efficiently to meet the project's timeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify and related technologies to ensure a seamless revamp process. The candidate should also be responsive, and communicative. The candidate will be working with me throughout the project lifecycle from the design, development (simple), pre-launch testing, and post-launch care period.
Please provide relevant work for reference.

Seeking: WordPress LMS Developer for African EdTech Platform Build
Posted by: Justin Omari | COSMA
Timeline: 12-16 weeks, starting immediately
Budget: Fixed-price engagement (USD 1,000–1,500 depending on scope confirmation)
Engagement model: Full build through public launch, no ongoing retainer
The Project
We're launching a fully mobile-first learning platform built on WordPress, purpose-built for the East African market. The platform will deliver structured professional education content through a modern, responsive interface with native iOS and Android apps, integrated local payment methods, and comprehensive progress tracking.
We are seeking one experienced WordPress contractor to execute a complete technical foundation — from core platform setup through public launch. This is a discrete, fixed-scope project to build the skeleton infrastructure. Content creation and ongoing operations are handled by our core team.
We are NOT building custom code. We are assembling and integrating proven, production-tested plugins and infrastructure. Your job is configuration, not invention.
Technical Stack & Scope
Core Platform (Weeks 1–4)
● WordPress 6.x hosted on Cloudways (managed DigitalOcean, Johannesburg region) with Cloudflare CDN
● LMS engine: TutorLMS Pro for course delivery, lesson drip, quizzes, and auto-generated certificates
● Commerce layer: WooCommerce + WooCommerce Subscriptions for monthly and bundled pricing (all-access, per-subject, level-based, quarterly bundles)
● Theme: Kadence (lightweight, WooCommerce-optimised)
● Branding: Full Top CPA brand implementation (logo, colour palette, typography, custom homepage)
Your deliverables:
● Provision and configure Cloudways account; set up staging environment
● Install and configure WordPress core, Kadence theme, TutorLMS Pro
● Structure TutorLMS course hierarchy: 3 levels (Foundation, Intermediate, Final) with 15 total subjects
● Configure WooCommerce for Tanzanian Shilling (TZS) currency, tax rules, and product catalog
● Set up subscription products in WooCommerce: per-subject monthly, all-access monthly/quarterly, level bundles
Payment Gateway Integration (Weeks 3–6) — CRITICAL PATH
● Primary: Selcom Pay (official WooCommerce plugin) supporting M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money, HaloPesa, Visa/Mastercard, bank transfer
● Backup: DPO Pay for redundancy (both gateways live at checkout)
● Sandbox testing: 20+ transactions across each payment method to verify end-to-end flow
● KYC coordination: Guide the internal team through Selcom onboarding process (documentation, timeline, credentials handoff)
Your deliverables:
● Install and configure Selcom WooCommerce plugin in sandbox environment
● Install and configure DPO Pay gateway as secondary option
● Build test checkout flows for all payment methods
● Document sandbox-to-production transition checklist for internal team
Authentication & Sign-In (Weeks 2–3)
● Phase 1 (Launch): Email/password (WordPress core) + Google Sign-In via Nextend Social Login plugin
● Phase 2 (Mobile app launch, Month 4): Apple Sign-In support via BuddyBoss or Nextend Pro
● Admin 2FA: Enforce two-factor authentication on all admin, editor, and instructor accounts (Wordfence or Two Factor Authentication plugin)
Your deliverables:
● Configure Nextend Social Login with Google OAuth 2.0 credentials (client-side setup)
● Set up WordPress registration fields: name, email, phone (+255 format), NBAA registration number (optional), exam level
● Enable Wordfence Premium and configure admin 2FA enforcement
● Test login, registration, and checkout flows with social sign-in
Video Content Delivery Infrastructure (Weeks 3–5)
● Video provider: Bunny Stream (adaptive bitrate HLS, African edge nodes, signed URLs, optional DRM)
● Embedding: Native TutorLMS video block integration with Bunny Stream signed-URL shortcodes
● Offline capability: BuddyBoss App will support lecture download over Wi-Fi for offline playback
● Adaptive bitrate: 240p–1080p auto-scaling for variable Tanzanian mobile bandwidth
Your deliverables:
● Create and configure Bunny Stream account; document API credentials
● Build custom WordPress shortcode or TutorLMS extension for embedding Bunny signed URLs with expiration tokens
● Create video upload workflow documentation (contractor → Bunny → TutorLMS lesson embed)
● Test video playback on real Android devices at 4G speeds and degraded network conditions
Native Mobile Apps — BuddyBoss (Weeks 8–14)
● Framework: React Native (cross-platform iOS + Android in one codebase)
● Branding: Fully customised as Top CPA; zero BuddyBoss branding visible to students
● Sync: Real-time content sync with TutorLMS; courses, lessons, quizzes, progress, and certificates auto-populate
● App Store deployment: Submission to Apple App Store and Google Play Store under Top CPA's developer accounts

Product Research & Sourcing: research and present 3 validated product options with real demand data, healthy margins, and competition analysis. Connect with verified suppliers — ideally US-based or fast-shipping from China via ePacket/Amazon FBA-style fulfillment. Full dropshipping model, no upfront stock purchase.
Store Build: complete Shopify store design and build, product pages, checkout with card and Shop Pay, US shipping and tax configuration, and essential apps installed and configured (covering the first 3 months).
Marketing Setup: product photos and video creatives for ads, Meta and TikTok pixel plus tracking installed, first test ad campaigns set up and monitored targeting US audiences, and daily data review to identify winning product angles and creatives.
Training & Handover: a training session covering dashboard, orders, refunds, and chargebacks, plus 30 days of post-launch support.
Timeline: 4 weeks from start to live store. Target market is USA nationwide, English-speaking.
Could you send through:
Examples of Shopify stores you've built for the US market
Your proposed breakdown of the 4-week timeline
Your quote, broken down clearly — store build, creatives, and whether ad spend is included or managed separately
Your experience with Meta/TikTok ad testing for US product validation
Your approach to supplier fulfillment speed, since US customers expect delivery within 5–7 days

Hello! I am based in China and would like to expand my jewelry export business into Brazil and Mexico. My target customers are local wholesalers, importers, and distributors, and I plan to sell directly to them. We're launching a firearms e-commerce subdomain running WooCommerce with FFL Cockpit for automated drop-shipping through two primary firearms distributors. We need a skilled WooCommerce developer to build and configure the entire storefront, including plugin setup, front-end design, and compliance-ready checkout flow.
A fully functional firearms e-commerce storefront that:
Pulls real-time inventory from primary distributors via plug in FFL Cockpit
Routes serialized firearms through compliant FFL dealer selection at checkout
Handles drop-ship order fulfillment automation
Enforces state-level ammunition and firearm restrictions
Accepts payment via Authorize.net
Integrates with a separate existing Shopify store
The storefront will be built and designed BEFORE FFL Cockpit loads products—meaning all infrastructure, design, checkout flow, and menus are ready to go once the distributor feeds activate.
Technical Stack
Platform: WooCommerce (self-hosted on Hostinger Unlimited)
Core Plugin: FFL Cockpit (distributor feeds, inventory sync, drop-ship automation)
Compliance Plugin: Automatic FFL (FFL dealer selection, state restrictions, ATF dealer database)
Payment Gateway: Authorize.net
Hosting: Hostinger Unlimited plan (user-provided)
Domain: Subdomain of existing Shopify store (provided by client)
What FFL Cockpit Handles
Providing getting-started instructions and API documentation
Conducting an onboarding call to review your configuration
Creating product categories automatically when feeds import
Syncing inventory updates every 20 minutes
Automating drop-ship order routing to distributors
Handling serialized firearm compliance
Generating tracking notifications to customers
You'll install the plugin and get it configured; FFL Cockpit does the heavy lifting after that.
Your Deliverables
1. WooCommerce Installation & Setup
Install WooCommerce on firearms subdomain (we provide Hostinger login)
Configure basic WooCommerce settings (currency, shipping zones, tax settings)
Set up staging environment for safe testing
2. Plugin Installation & Configuration
Install FFL Cockpit plugin
Configure primary distributor connections (we provide API/dealer credentials for each)
Set up margin rules and pricing logic
Configure product restrictions (what should/shouldn't list)
Test inventory feed sync (should pull every 20 minutes)
Install Automatic FFL plugin
Configure ATF dealer database
Set up state-level ammunition/firearm restrictions
Configure FFL dealer selector for checkout
Install Authorize.net payment gateway plugin
Connect to merchant account (we provide credentials)
Test payment processing
3. Front-End Design & User Experience
Choose or customize a professional WooCommerce theme optimized for firearms retail
Design and build:
Homepage (hero section, category browse, trust signals)
Navigation menu (Handguns, Rifles, Shotguns, Ammo, Accessories—categories will be populated by FFL Cockpit)
Product page templates (ready for products; include caliber/action/barrel length filters)
Checkout flow (FFL dealer selector, age verification prompts, payment form)
Footer (contact, policies, compliance links)
Ensure mobile responsiveness
Implement clear FFL compliance messaging (what products require FFL transfer, shipping restrictions, etc.)
4. Product Category Structure
Build category hierarchy that will align with FFL Cockpit's auto-generated categories
Create placeholder category pages (ready for products to populate)
Set up filtering/sorting by brand, caliber, action, barrel length, etc.
5. Compliance & Security
Enable HTTPS/SSL (Hostinger provides free)
Set up age-gate verification for firearms/ammo products
Configure WooCommerce security best practices
Ensure checkout messaging complies with firearms regulations
6. Testing & Documentation
Perform end-to-end testing:
Test distributor feed pull (should show a few sample products)
Test checkout flow (FFL dealer selection, payment processing)
Test state restriction rules (verify ammo blocks in restricted states)
Test product categorization
Provide setup documentation for future reference
Conduct a handoff call to review configuration and answer questions
What You'll Receive From Us
Hostinger Unlimited hosting login (subdomain already configured)
Primary distributor account numbers and API credentials (for each)
Authorize.net merchant account credentials
FFL Cockpit license key
Automatic FFL license key
Access to FFL Cockpit's getting-started docs and onboarding support
Any brand/content preferences for the site design
Requirements
Must Have:
Proven experience building WooCommerce stores (portfolio required)
Experience with WooCommerce plugin development/configuration
Familiarity with firearms e-commerce compliance (FFL transfers, state restrictions, serialized item handling)
Experience with payment gateway integration (Authorize.net or similar)
Strong front-end design skills (responsive, accessible, user-friendly)
Ability to work independently with clear communication
Nice to Have:
Prior experience with FFL Cockpit or similar firearms distributor plugins
Experience with Automatic FFL or comparable compliance plugins
Knowledge of ATF regulations (27 CFR Part 478)
Experience migrating/managing distributor feeds
WooCommerce SEO optimization experience
Timeline & Milestones
Final end-to-end testing
Documentation handoff
Onboarding call with FFL Cockpit support (optional attendance)
Post-Launch Support
After the initial build is complete, we'll need ongoing support on a pay-as-needed basis for the life of the website. This includes:
Bug fixes and troubleshooting
Plugin updates and compatibility checks
Distributor feed issues and integration adjustments
Minor design/UX updates
Payment gateway and compliance-related support
Performance optimization and debugging
WooCommerce and hosting-related support
No retainer required. We only pay for time actually worked and billed hourly. You'll invoice us for hours spent on support requests, and we'll pay based on actual billable time. We are familiar with how much time things require and appreciate your honesty when billing.
Please provide your hourly rate for post-launch support hours in your application.
Notes:
This is NOT a Shopify build. The main store stays on Shopify; this is a separate WooCommerce subdomain for firearms only.
You will not load the full product inventory during this engagement—FFL Cockpit handles that automatically after handoff.
Hosting is on Hostinger Unlimited; you do not manage billing or infrastructure.
We're starting with two primary distributors but may add others later (you're not responsible for future integrations).
How to Apply
Please submit:
Your WooCommerce portfolio (links to 2-3 completed stores)
Experience with firearms e-commerce or FFL compliance (if any)
Your hourly rate for post-launch support (pay-as-needed, no retainer)
Estimated timeline for this project
Any questions about the scope
Project Expectations
This is a self-directed engagement. We expect you to:
Work independently and make sound decisions about design, configuration, and implementation
Own the project timeline and deliver on schedule without requiring frequent approval cycles from us
Communicate proactively if blockers arise, but solve problems without waiting for us to weigh in on every decision
Manage your own project workflow and testing—we're not doing daily check-ins
We will be available for critical decisions only and will provide information/credentials promptly when requested, but we won't be involved in day-to-day development.
Timeline is firm: 2-3 weeks. We need someone who can commit and execute independently.
