Hi!
We’re currently looking for an experienced Shopify CRO Designer to work with a growing Hungarian E-commerce brand. The main focus will be designing and improving Shopify stores with a strong focus on conversion rate optimization. The Hungarian language should not be a challenge for you, as you will be working with Hungarian content. Over time, the role will also involve analyzing store performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and running A/B tests to continuously increase conversion rates. We’re looking for someone for a long term collaboration, with the possibility of full time work as the brand grows. We only work with people who have strong professional experience and proven results. Please only apply if you have several years of relevant Shopify CRO experience and outstanding E-commerce references. We are looking for an experienced Shopify UX/UI designer with strong CRO experience to help improve the ecommerce conversion rate and overall shopping experience of our existing website:
www.khanhingtong.com We are an established Chinese herb and specialty goods retailer with a large catalog of approximately 2,000 products, including Chinese herbs, traditional products, teas, dried foods, ginseng, bird’s nest, Buddhist goods, cookware, and other specialty items. Our website is functional and already generating sales. We are not looking for a complete rebuild or platform migration. The goal is to improve product discovery, modernize the design, strengthen trust, and make the shopping experience easier—especially for first-time customers. Initial Scope For this project, we want to focus on three areas: 1. Navigation and Mega Menu Our catalog is large, and the current navigation does not make it easy enough for customers to understand what we sell or quickly find what they need. We would like help with: - Restructuring our main navigation - Creating a clean desktop and mobile mega menu - Improving collection/category hierarchy - Helping customers navigate a catalog of approximately 2,000 products - Improving discoverability of major categories such as: a. Chinese herbs b. Traditional herbal products c. Ginseng d. Bird’s nest e. Teas f. Dried foods and specialty foods g. Buddhist goods h. Cookware and household items Making the navigation understandable to both customers already familiar with Chinese products and newer customers who may not know what they are looking for We are open to recommendations regarding taxonomy and organization. 2. Homepage CRO / UX Redesign We want the homepage to more clearly explain: - What Khan Hing Tong is - What types of products we carry - Why customers should trust us - Where a first-time customer should start shopping The redesigned homepage should emphasize our strengths as an established, real-world specialty retailer rather than simply displaying a large assortment of products. Potential sections may include: - Strong hero section with clear value proposition and CTAs - Shop-by-category section - Best sellers / popular products - Chinese herb / custom formula service - Brand history and trust section - Physical store / real business credibility - Reviews or social proof - Educational or discovery sections - Stronger mobile-first layout We would like the designer to make CRO recommendations rather than simply making the existing homepage look prettier. 3. Product Page Template Redesign We would like to improve the product detail page template so that customers can understand products faster and have more confidence purchasing. Possible improvements include: - Stronger hierarchy around product name, pricing, size/variant selection, and Add to Cart - Better mobile layout - More prominent trust and shipping information - Better organization of product descriptions - Accordions or structured sections for: - Product information - Usage - Alternate names - Chinese name / Pinyin / English name where applicable - Shipping and return information - Reviews / social proof - Related products - Frequently bought together / cross-selling - Cleaner and more consistent product cards and imagery We have hundreds of herbs and nearly 2,000 total products, so we are looking for a scalable product-page template, not individual manual redesigns for every SKU. What We Are Looking For Please apply if you have strong experience with: - Shopify ecommerce UX/UI - Conversion rate optimization - Large product catalogs - Navigation and mega-menu design - Shopify product page design - Mobile ecommerce UX - Merchandising and product discovery Experience with food, supplements, Asian retail, specialty retail, or multilingual ecommerce is a plus but not required. We are especially interested in freelancers who can explain why they recommend certain design or UX changes rather than simply implementing requested changes. When Applying Please include: - 2–4 Shopify stores you have personally designed or significantly improved - Examples of homepage, navigation, or product-page CRO work - A brief explanation of what you would change first after reviewing www.khanhingtong.com - Whether you handle both design and Shopify implementation - Whether you work directly in an existing Shopify theme or prefer creating designs first in Figma - We would like to tackle this project via milestones. Please let us know which one you think you can tackle first and we can use that to springboard to the other items as well as additional improvements to our site Please do not submit a generic copy-and-paste application. Important Communication Requirement Please communicate with us ONLY through Upwork. Do not contact our retail store, company landline, personal cell phones, email addresses, social media accounts, contact forms, or any other outside communication channel. Any applicant who contacts us outside of Upwork will be disregarded and will not be considered for the project. We receive a significant amount of unsolicited freelancer outreach through our business phone numbers and email, so this requirement is firm. All initial communication, questions, proposals, and project discussions must remain through Upwork.

We are looking for a highly experienced eCommerce consultant/auditor to conduct an extensive, professional audit of an established retail eCommerce website.
The website is currently generating approximately €XX,XXX per month in online revenue, but based on the size of the business, product range, market opportunity and existing traffic, we believe it should be capable of generating 2–3x its current online sales. We need an expert to determine what is preventing the website from scaling. This is NOT a basic automated SEO audit. We require a comprehensive investigation covering the entire eCommerce customer journey, website performance and digital growth potential. Scope of Audit The audit should include, but not necessarily be limited to: Technical SEO On-page SEO Site architecture and internal linking Organic search visibility Category and product page optimisation Content quality and search intent Website structure and navigation UX/UI analysis Mobile usability and mobile conversion Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Homepage effectiveness Category/PLP effectiveness Product page/PDP effectiveness Search and product discovery Cart and checkout experience Customer journey and conversion funnel Trust signals and purchase confidence Calls-to-action and merchandising Page speed / Core Web Vitals Website performance and technical issues Competitor benchmarking Pricing/promotion presentation where relevant Potential conversion barriers Revenue leakage points Opportunities to increase AOV Opportunities to improve conversion rate Opportunities to increase qualified organic traffic Scalability issues preventing further eCommerce growth The Main Question We Need Answered The website has reached approximately €XX,XXX per month in sales. Why has it plateaued at this level, and what specifically is preventing it from reaching €XXX,XXX+ per month? We don't just want a list of website problems. We want an experienced eCommerce professional who can connect the findings to traffic, conversion rate, customer behaviour, revenue and growth and identify the highest-impact changes required to move the business forward. Required Deliverable The final deliverable must be an extensive, professionally presented white-label audit/report that we can provide directly to our client. It should clearly contain: Executive summary Current-state assessment Key findings Critical issues Supporting evidence/screenshots SEO findings Technical findings UX/UI findings CRO findings Customer journey/funnel issues Competitor observations Revenue/growth barriers Recommended improvements Prioritised action plan Quick wins Medium-term improvements Strategic/long-term recommendations Recommendations should ideally be prioritised by impact, effort and urgency, so the client has a clear roadmap rather than simply a large list of issues. IMPORTANT – Human Expert Required / No AI-Generated Audit We are specifically looking for an experienced human specialist who will personally investigate and analyse the website. AI-generated audits, ChatGPT-generated reports or generic automated audit reports will not be accepted. Tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, PageSpeed Insights, etc. can of course be used for data collection and analysis, but the analysis, conclusions and recommendations must come from your own professional expertise and investigation. We need someone capable of identifying issues that automated tools will not find. Who We Are Looking For Ideally, you will have significant experience in: eCommerce Strategy • CRO • Technical SEO • UX/UI • Analytics • Customer Journey Analysis • eCommerce Growth Experience auditing established retail/eCommerce businesses is particularly important. This is not suitable for someone offering basic SEO reports or automated website audits. REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION Please provide: A brief explanation of your eCommerce audit experience. Examples of eCommerce websites you have previously audited. A sample of a detailed audit/report you have previously completed. The tools and methodology you normally use. An indication of how extensive your typical audit is. Your estimated turnaround time. Confirmation that the audit and report will be completed personally and will not be AI-generated. You may redact client names, URLs, financial information or other confidential information from previous reports. Applications without a previous audit/report sample may not be considered. Potential Ongoing Work This initial project is for one established eCommerce client, but we work with multiple businesses and there is potential for significant ongoing audit, CRO, SEO and eCommerce consultancy work for the right person. Quality and depth of analysis are considerably more important to us than finding the cheapest freelancer. We are looking for someone who can tell us why this eCommerce business isn't scaling — and exactly what needs to change to get it there.

Role: Fractional Head of E-commerce / Digital Growth Operator Company: Beauty and Wellness CPG (U.S. Based) Location: Remote (Fractional, scaling to Full-Time) About Us Doctor-founded Oral Beauty and Wellness Brand. We have the product, the awards, and the brand. Now, we need the digital engine to take us from 0 to traction. You will serve as our Fractional Head of E-commerce, connecting the dots between Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Meta while orchestrating our external specialists to ensure a seamless customer journey. For the right person, this fractional role will evolve into a full-time leadership position as the brand scales. Who You Are: You have proven experience taking early-stage, premium DTC consumer brands (ideally in beauty, wellness, or personal care) from launch phase to rapid scale. You are a "T-shaped" marketer: you have deep strategic expertise but aren't afraid to get your hands dirty in Shopify settings or platform integrations. You understand the nuances of selling on Amazon vs. building a brand on TikTok Shop vs. driving conversions on Shopify vs. building on Meta. You are highly analytical, making decisions based on CAC, LTV, and contribution margin, but you also appreciate brand aesthetics and luxury positioning. To Apply: Please share 2-3 examples of early-stage DTC brands you have scaled, highlighting the specific omnichannel infrastructure you built and the growth metrics you achieved. Client's questions:

We are deploying a tactical e-commerce test MVP to capture high-intent organic search traffic buyers on the Cratejoy Marketplace.
Because Cratejoy is a self- serv, unmonitored listing directory, we are not looking for general data-entry virtual assistants. We require a High Level E-commerce Operator / Subscription Box Consultant who can completely own the technical execution of the launch and post launch listings. Our strategy is product-agnostic, low overhead and descent margins. We are utilizing a Single Box, unchanging pseudo-replenishment model. (identical items shipped month after month, completely bypassing curation logistics. We plan to launch with one merchant account containing 2-5 hyper targeted niche listings to catch distinct search intents across categories. To isolate inventory risk, some caps on our test concepts will be placed while our flagship listings will be uncapped. What you will execute natively: 1. Front End Traffic Net Architecture - Build distinct, highly optimized marketplace listing pages inside our backend dashboard. Some ideas of categories: Coffee, Food and Drink, Grooming, Wellness, Pet Care, Spiritual. 2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Inject aggressive high intent backend metadata and keyword tagging to ensure our storefront immediately dominates low-competition category vacuums. 3. Configure our pricing with free shipping in each respective tier and correctly tie them to our stored packaging presets. (9X6X3 for core boxes in the 0.10 usps cubic tier) 4. Implement slot allocations for certain boxes to they appear sold out and, on a waitlist, once filled. 5. Organize Add-on listings and ensure they trigger to our 12X10X3.5/4 large box for shipping under cubic tier USPS cubic 0.3 tier. What WE are NOT DOING: We are not building a standalone customized website on Cratejoy's template builder ( no essentials or advanced monthly hosting design) We are not running monthly curation cycles. Everything is fixed; routine replenishment cycles and inventory is in house. Applicant Requirements: 1. Proven Cratejoy Marketplace Mastery: history of launching or managing active storefronts. (please share links or portfolio case-studies of active or past Cratejoy merchant accounts you have configured) 2. High Level Autonomy - deep structural understanding of Cratejoy's internal cart math, multi-item invoicing rules, shipping presents overrides and label queue workflows. 3. Clear Communication: Ability to coordinate with existing visual assets and configure them to 3:2 landscape photography and light enhancing of photos on platforms such as photoroom, canva, adobe etc. 4. Experience in the subscription box business model is highly preferred, but we are open to candidates with the skill set to execute Project Budget and Scope: We can work both hourly and one-time milestones. If your expertise and data metric validation lights a fire and clicks, this role has an immediate pathway to transition into a long term management type flow to oversee our additional listings on Cratejoy.

Shopify Website Speed Optimization & Performance Expert Needed
We are looking for an experienced Shopify performance optimization specialist to diagnose and improve the loading speed of our online boutique, DES Berner & Co. Our Shopify store is currently experiencing slow loading speeds, particularly on mobile, and we need someone who can identify the actual causes and fix them properly. Current Performance Concerns Our Page Speed testing has shown issues including: Mobile Page Speed score around 32/100 Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) around 4–5.5 seconds Total Blocking Time (TBT) around 810–1080 ms First Contentful Paint around 3.2 seconds The site needs to become faster without sacrificing the appearance or functionality of the store. Our previous audit indicated that images were already reasonably optimized, so we believe the larger issues may be related to the Shopify theme, scripts, apps, stylesheets, and the number of sections loading on the homepage. What We Need You To Do We need you to: Conduct a full performance audit of our Shopify store. Identify exactly what is causing the slow loading times. Review the Shopify theme and determine whether theme code, scripts, CSS, apps, or unnecessary sections are contributing to the problem. Review third-party apps and scripts for performance impact. Identify render-blocking resources and unnecessary JavaScript/CSS. Review the homepage and other important pages for excessive code or sections loading unnecessarily. Improve mobile performance first, while also improving desktop performance. Optimize the site without damaging the design, functionality, navigation, product pages, checkout, tracking, or existing integrations. Retest the site after changes using Google Page Speed Insights and other appropriate performance tools. Provide a clear before-and-after report showing what was changed and what improvement was achieved. VERY IMPORTANT We do not want someone simply making random changes to the theme. Our store is live and we need someone who understands Shopify development and performance optimization and can work carefully. Do not remove apps, sections, scripts, tracking, features, or design elements without discussing them with us first. We want to understand what is causing the problem before changes are made. Any changes that could affect the appearance, functionality, tracking, conversions, or customer experience must be discussed and approved before implementation. Theme Our current Shopify theme is Halo, and we have reason to believe the theme may be contributing to the performance problems. However, we do not want the freelancer to assume the theme is the problem without properly investigating it. We want an expert diagnosis first. Our Priorities Our priorities are: 1. Faster mobile loading 2. Better LCP and Total Blocking Time 3. Better Page Speed performance 4. Maintaining the existing design and functionality 5. No broken features or integrations 6. A measurable improvement in real-world loading performance We are particularly concerned about the first few seconds of the customer experience. A customer should not have to wait for the homepage or important content to become usable. Ideal Freelancer You should have demonstrated experience with: Shopify performance optimization Shopify theme development Liquid JavaScript CSS Google Page Speed Insights Core Web Vitals LCP TBT CLS Mobile performance optimization Third-party app/script optimization Shopify app and theme troubleshooting Experience working with fashion/e-commerce Shopify stores is a plus. Before Starting Please tell us: What you believe may be causing our performance issues based on the information above. How you would diagnose the problem. What Shopify performance optimization experience you have. Examples of Shopify stores you have successfully improved. Whether you recommend working on the existing Halo theme or considering a different approach — and why. Please do not apply if your approach is simply to install another speed optimization app or compress images. We are looking for someone who can identify and resolve the underlying technical problems. This is a live e-commerce store, so careful, methodical work is essential.

Bonjour,
Merci, Wissem

Youth Revisited is a UK/Ireland private blood testing and health optimization clinic. We’re running a promotional campaign built around a “build your own blood test” page, where customers can select from a range of health markers to create a personalized panel. Part of the offer allows customers to get one marker free and additional markers at a discount when applying a partner code.
We have a live version of this page that needs either meaningful optimization or a full redesign — that call is yours to make once you’ve reviewed it. Live page: coaching.youth-revisited.co.uk/single-biomarker-affiliate What we want to achieve: We want the page, layout, and overall flow should naturally guide people toward exploring and adding more markers, not just the free promotion. We want this done through smart design and psychology, not pressure or dark patterns. We also want to bring our AI assistant, Vera, into this flow, she currently interacts with customers, and we want her equipped to naturally guide and upsell customers through conversation as part of this journey. What we need you to deliver: A full audit of our current page and flow, with your recommendation on optimizing vs. rebuilding A complete customer journey map — landing to checkout Layout and UX recommendations that support both simplicity and upselling Behavioral/psychological triggers appropriate for increasing engagement and basket size Recommendations on where and how our AI assistant should engage customers within this flow, along with example talking points or logic for how she should guide and upsell Ideal experience: Proven CRO/funnel experience, ideally in e-commerce, health, wellness, or subscription products Comfortable auditing and improving an existing live page, not just building from scratch Able to show past results or examples of work Bonus: experience with AI-assisted or conversational sales flows Format: Contract/project-based. Deliverable is a strategy and redesign brief with supporting recommendations , implementation can be discussed separately if needed. To apply: Please review the live page linked above and share relevant examples of past work, along with your proposed approach

We run pakobazaar.gr, a high-volume furniture and home decor e-commerce store on Shopify. We have installed Rebuy Engine to optimize our Average Order Value (AOV) and conversion rate, but we need a seasoned Rebuy / Shopify merchandising expert to handle the end-to-end configuration, rule logic, and UI styling.
If this rollout is successful, we will immediately hire you to configure Rebuy on our second online store. Scope of Work & Deliverables Smart Cart / Cart Drawer: Configure tiered shipping progress bars and conditional thresholds. Implement dynamic, high-margin cross-sell recommendations inside the cart. Product Page (PDP) & Collections: Set up intelligent "Frequently Bought Together" and complementary accessory bundles. Customise recommendation widgets to match our store’s exact UI/branding. Checkout & Post-Purchase Upsells: Configure in-checkout upsells and 1-click post-purchase offer flows. Rebuy Data Sources & Custom Rules Engine: Build custom Data Source rules (filtering by collection, margin, category matching, and inventory availability). Ensure the AI engine recommends logical accessories rather than irrelevant large items. A/B Testing & Tracking: Set up initial A/B test variations on top widgets to measure lift in AOV and revenue per visitor. Requirements Proven experience setting up and managing Rebuy Engine on Shopify / Shopify Plus. Strong understanding of Rebuy's Rules Engine, Data Sources, and endpoint triggers. Solid front-end skills (HTML/CSS/Liquid) to ensure widgets blend natively with our theme. Ability to deliver quickly and communicate clearly.

About the Role
We're a DTC + B2B brand on Shopify Plus looking for an experienced Shopify Plus developer to work with us as a true partner, not just someone who executes exactly what's handed over. This isn't a ticket queue. We'll bring you business goals, and we need someone who can help build the plan to get there, not just implement a spec. We want someone who asks good questions, pushes back when there's a better way to solve something, and helps us land on the right solution rather than just the requested one. This is a phased engagement with two distinct stages. Phase 1: Site Support (September - December) Roughly 10 to 20 hours per month. We're a summer season brand, so this stretch is our slower period. The focus here is keeping the site stable through the off-season, with room for a few smaller upgrades along the way. This is lighter, as-needed work, not a heavy build phase. Phase 2: Theme Migration (Starting January) Starting in January, we'll shift into a theme migration based on a design we'll provide. We're not looking for someone to build exactly to spec without question. We want a developer who will evaluate the proposed design and help us find the best way to build it, staying as close to out-of-the-box Shopify functionality as possible rather than defaulting to heavy customization. We're targeting an efficient turnaround for this phase, ideally within a couple of months of kickoff. What Comes After Phase 2 Once the migration is live, the next phase is still to be determined. It could mean shifting back to a heavier site support role during our busy summer season, or it could mean a focused B2B site optimization project. We'll figure that out together based on where the business needs the most help at that point. Also Part of the Role We're already running on Shopify Plus with both DTC and B2B storefronts, and there's a fair amount of existing setup to get familiar with. Expect some early discovery work to understand why certain things are configured the way they are, including auditing our current app stack and identifying what can be removed or consolidated. What We're Looking For - Available and responsive between 6am and 1pm PT - Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, Liquid, and theme development - Experience with both DTC and B2B storefronts on Shopify Plus (Markets, Catalogs, B2B pricing) - Comfort with JavaScript/CSS for custom storefront features - Judgment to recommend solutions and flag tradeoffs, not just build what's asked - Experience auditing and cleaning up app integrations - Comfortable configuring and setting up new apps, not just writing custom code - Comfortable with a flexible, variable-hours arrangement, lighter through the fall and heavier starting in January How We Work This is a long-term, flexible arrangement rather than a fixed full-time role or a one-off project. We're looking for someone who wants ongoing, recurring work: lighter hours through the end of the year, then a focused push on the theme migration starting in January. Reliable communication and the ability to think through problems with us matter more than clocking a set number of hours per week. Availability during our core hours (6am to 1pm PT) is required so we can overlap for real-time collaboration. Client's questions:
