However, we are experiencing an intermittent issue where legitimate abandoned checkout logs completely cease for multi-day stretches (e.g., latest one stopping abruptly on June 28th), and real-world user session recordings in Microsoft Clarity occasionally show severe page-load hangs of 20+ seconds. No JavaScript errors are being thrown in the console though.

I just feel like MS Clarity, although it does not identify problems outright, it gives such a variety of recorded data that it would seem that a coder could inevitably "become really good at it" over time... whereby someone with vast experience USING THIS PROGRAM in particular could possibly eventually find ways to use it for powerful insights and help with identifying weird and difficult issues similar to this one. So I'm hoping to find that guy.
