Project Overview
We are building an interior scanning add-on for an existing inspection platform.
Users will walk through a property with their phone and create an interactive 3D model.
This is similar in spirit to Matterport, but focused on insurance and inspection use cases.

The app should:

Scan rooms with LiDAR / depth as the user walks

Stitch rooms into a unified 3D model

Generate measurements and floor plans

Offer a “dollhouse” and walkthrough viewer

Export web links, PDFs, and 3D formats

Capture photos / notes tied to locations in the model

We want to start with an iOS MVP and later add Android support.

Phase 1 – iOS MVP (Initial Scope)

What You Will Do

Review our brief and propose a technical approach for Phase 1

Architect and implement the iOS MVP in Swift

Choose and wire the right SDKs (RoomPlan, ARKit, Structure SDK, etc.)

Implement model capture, storage, and in-app 3D viewer

Optimize for performance and file size on modern iPhones/iPads

Advise on data formats and backend needs (we use AWS today)

Help plan Phase 2 (multi-room, web viewer, floor plans) and Android

Must-Have Experience

Strong overlap with US time zone (at least 3–4 hours during US business hours)

Senior-level mobile developer (5+ years iOS / Android in production)

Job Description

VOCN (Vets On Call Network) is a growing veterinary telemedicine platform with mobile applications on both iOS and Android. Our apps are stable and used actively by hospitals and specialists, and we are now seeking a senior Mobile Release Engineer to manage ongoing releases, store compliance updates, code-signing, and OS readiness using modern CI/CD practices.

We are replacing an expensive European vendor and want to establish a long-term, predictable, and efficient partnership with a highly experienced mobile release professional.

This is a low monthly workload but high technical responsibility role. You will ensure that our apps can always be released quickly, correctly, and compliantly.
