This is a time-sensitive project. A working and testable version must be delivered within a maximum of 20 calendar days from the project start date. Project Overview The user will wear a VR/XR headset and enter a visually attractive virtual pharmacy. Inside the virtual pharmacy, the user should be able to: - Browse products displayed on virtual shelves - View product details and specifications - See the estimated quantity currently available in their inventory - Select a product - Compare available sellers and prices - Select a seller - Choose the required quantity - Add products to a shopping cart - Review the shopping cart - Submit the final order to our platform through an API The experience must be simple and intuitive enough for a first-time VR user to understand with minimal instruction. Product Data At the beginning of each session, our platform will provide up to 200 user-specific products. For each product, we will provide: - Product name - Product information/specifications - Estimated quantity currently available in the pharmacist's inventory - Available sellers - Price from each seller - 2D product image We do not expect a dedicated 3D model to be created for every product. Instead, we want the selected team to propose a creative, professional, and visually attractive solution for displaying the provided 2D product images within the 3D pharmacy environment and shelves. This will be an important part of our proposal evaluation. Generic 3D pharmacy products/models may also be used to make the environment look realistic, complete, and visually rich. NPC customers will arrive with cars that require repairs. The main gameplay mechanic should be interactive repair work rather than simply clicking a button. For the first version, I would like approximately 3–5 car models and these repair types: Wheels Brake pads Doors Hood Front/rear bumpers The player should manually remove damaged parts, carry them to the disposal container, take replacement parts from storage, carry them back to the vehicle, and install them. For example, changing a wheel should involve raising the vehicle, removing the wheel bolts, removing the old wheel, getting a replacement, installing it, and tightening the bolts. After all required repairs are completed, the vehicle should move to the customer pickup parking area. The NPC customer returns, pays the player, enters the vehicle, and leaves. The book features 16 original Indigenous Australian paintings, with an app that gives a song played on the yiḏaki (didgeridoo) related to each painting, plus narration of the poetic allegory. I have written an educational curriculum to go with these resources, two for Primary Schools (Christian and State Schools), and two for Secondary Schools (Christian and State Schools). At present I have these three 'books' ready in the version for a Christian Primary School, and the other versions will be modifications of this. We are building an AR-guided inspection app for large industrial equipment. A worker points their iPhone at the equipment, the app recognizes which side they are looking at, and inspection markers appear anchored on the physical object. Tap a marker, see the checklist, capture photo evidence, sign, submit. The backend is already built and working. A working proof-of-concept ARKit test app with image tracking and accuracy metrics already exists and will be provided to you.
Your job is the heavy lifting: turn the proven tracking approach plus a detailed written spec into a polished, reliable, impressive native iOS app. IMPORTANT - this must be native Swift/SwiftUI + ARKit. Not Unity, not Vuforia, not React Native, not Flutter. Our in-house team continues development after handoff, so the code must be plain Swift that builds from a standard Xcode project. Proposals offering Unity will be declined. What you build: - AR markers anchored per side of the equipment using reference image tracking, with world tracking carrying between sides as the user walks around - Tap a marker: checklist card, pass/flag, photo evidence with the camera - Full flow: QR scan for equipment identity, guided walk-around, signature, submit to our existing backend (Supabase - contract and test credentials provided) - Equipment profiles load from a JSON file, so new equipment can be added without code changes - Graceful fallback: if AR cannot lock (bad light), the inspection continues in a guided non-AR mode - it must never dead-end What we provide: - Full written spec with measurable acceptance criteria - The working ARKit test app (real code, builds today) to start from - Reference target images and a real test profile - Backend schema and test credentials - One decision-maker, fast answers Deliverables: - Complete source code in a private repository we own, with regular commits - Weekly builds we can install on our own iPhone and test - Short docs: how to build, how the app is structured, how to add new equipment - All work is work-for-hire, IP fully assigned (standard Upwork terms) Timeline: roughly 3-4 weeks of focused work. I'm looking for an experienced iOS/photogrammetry/computer-vision developer to build a production iPhone application for a dental 3D workflow. I already have the reference STL geometry and test scan data.
The project has three stages, but Stage 1 is the immediate priority. Stage 1 – Photogrammetry Face Scanner I need a native iPhone app using RGB photogrammetry, not TrueDepth or LiDAR as the primary reconstruction method. It must work on standard modern iPhones as well as Pro models. The user should be guided through taking sufficient overlapping images around a patient's face to reconstruct an accurate, full-colour, true-scale 3D face. Initial target accuracy is approximately 1 mm. There are two separate captures per patient: 1. Smile – full face with a natural smile. 2. Retracted – full face with the mouth retracted and dental Scan Ladder markers visible. Each should be reconstructed and stored separately and exportable as colour OBJ/PLY at true XYZ scale. Processing can be cloud/GPU based if that provides better results. Stage 2 – Scan Ladder Recognition I will provide `library_main.stl`, containing the exact Scan Ladder reference geometry. The Retracted photogrammetry reconstruction may contain 2–8 visible Scan Ladder cylinders. The software should automatically detect them despite incomplete/noisy reconstruction, calculate their XYZ position and 3D orientation, register the supplied reference geometry and place the exact STL at each detected position. I expect an appropriate geometric registration approach such as candidate/primitive detection followed by robust/constrained registration/ICP or another method you believe is superior. The system should also provide numerical confidence/error measurements and reject unreliable matches rather than simply returning a visual best fit. For v1, ~1 mm accuracy is sufficient. Longer term, I'd be interested in investigating whether the marker-registration component could be developed towards sub-0.1 mm accuracy, if technically achievable. Stage 3 – AI/AR Smile Simulation Once Stages 1–2 work, I would like a separate quote to add an AI/AR smile simulation. This would generate a proposed new smile/tooth arrangement and realistically overlay it onto the patient's face in real time, tracking as the patient or camera moves. I'd like development broken into concrete paid milestones with working TestFlight deliverables, rather than a long discovery phase. I'm very happy to pay for an initial PoC, but the milestone should end with something I can install and test. Could you please tell me: - Whether you are genuinely confident you can deliver Stages 1 and 2. - Relevant photogrammetry/3D registration/iOS experience. - Your proposed technical approach. - Whether reconstruction would be on-device, cloud or hybrid. - Price and timeline for an initial working TestFlight PoC. - Approximate price and timeline to complete Stage 1. - Approximate price and timeline to complete Stage 2. - Separate approximate price/timeline for Stage 3. - How quickly you could start.
