He is around 20 years old and completely lacks the ability to work professionally and understand what quality teamwork entails. Some of his reviews are likely fake, and he insists on closing the contract, leaving a review, and working outside of Upwork. Therefore, I believe he has a history of closing contracts with freelancers and then deceiving them for money, as he tried to do with me. In the beginning, during our Zoom meeting, he suggested payment outside of Upwork, to which I made it clear that I would only work through Upwork. He agreed and opened a milestone for the first video. After I completed the first video, he asked me to start the next one and inquired about my preferred method of payment. I stated that I was willing to receive payment weekly through Upwork, to which he agreed. A week passed, during which I completed three videos totaling $90, and I requested payment as agreed. Razvan resisted for a long time, insisting on payment outside of Upwork, and I consistently refused, urging him to pay the $90 on Upwork. Razvan paid $25 for one video. I again requested payment for the remaining $65, but he asked me to work for another week and promised to pay the $65 along with other videos. I asked for timely payment, as I always deliver my work on time and expect the same. However, Razvan only delayed and wasted my time, negatively affecting my mood. For two days, I asked him to pay for the work, and he seemed not to understand my request, claiming that he doesn't like paying through Upwork and prefers to pay once a month, even though we had agreed on weekly payments. After I questioned how he spent $17,000 on Upwork but couldn't pay $65 to me, he immediately opened a $150 milestone and claimed that he paid, asking me to continue working. Despite him opening the milestone, he had not actually paid anything, and I had to once again ask him to pay the $65 for my work. I had to spend additional time explaining the situation. In the end, he paid the entire $150, even though I only needed my $65, and I wanted to close the contract. However, I had to create three more videos for him, over and above the initial agreement. As soon as I completed those additional videos, I closed the contract, even though I could have taken advantage of him, as he does with freelancers. Additionally, he lacks clear rules; he mentioned different prices for 10-12 minute videos and 20-minute videos but allowed examples like 24-minute videos, paying only for 20 minutes. In other words, I spent more time, and he reaped the benefit. I don't know how he spent such a large sum, but he couldn't timely pay $90 for quality work. He is around 20 years old and completely lacks the ability to work professionally and understand what quality teamwork entails. Some of his reviews are likely fake, and he insists on closing the contract, leaving a review, and working outside of Upwork. Therefore, I believe he has a history of closing contracts with freelancers and then deceiving them for money, as he tried to do with me. In the beginning, during our Zoom meeting, he suggested payment outside of Upwork, to which I made it clear that I would only work through Upwork. He agreed and opened a milestone for the first video. After I completed the first video, he asked me to start the next one and inquired about my preferred method of payment. I stated that I was willing to receive payment weekly through Upwork, to which he agreed. A week passed, during which I completed three videos totaling $90, and I requested payment as agreed. Razvan resisted for a long time, insisting on payment outside of Upwork, and I consistently refused, urging him to pay the $90 on Upwork. Razvan paid $25 for one video. I again requested payment for the remaining $65, but he asked me to work for another week and promised to pay the $65 along with other videos. I asked for timely payment, as I always deliver my work on time and expect the same. However, Razvan only delayed and wasted my time, negatively affecting my mood. For two days, I asked him to pay for the work, and he seemed not to understand my request, claiming that he doesn't like paying through Upwork and prefers to pay once a month, even though we had agreed on weekly payments. After I questioned how he spent $17,000 on Upwork but couldn't pay $65 to me, he immediately opened a $150 milestone and claimed that he paid, asking me to continue working. Despite him opening the milestone, he had not actually paid anything, and I had to once again ask him to pay the $65 for my work. I had to spend additional time explaining the situation. In the end, he paid the entire $150, even though I only needed my $65, and I wanted to close the contract. However, I had to create three more videos for him, over and above the initial agreement. As soon as I completed those additional videos, I closed the contract, even though I could have taken advantage of him, as he does with freelancers. Additionally, he lacks clear rules; he mentioned different prices for 10-12 minute videos and 20-minute videos but allowed examples like 24-minute videos, paying only for 20 minutes. In other words, I spent more time, and he reaped the benefit. I don't know how he spent such a large sum, but he couldn't timely pay $90 for quality work.
