About us and the project
We're looking for an animator to create a set of short animated videos for our online training course. The videos will replace or upgrade the information videos we use now, and should be ready by April.
Street Paws keeps people experiencing homelessness and their pets together. We provide veterinary support, volunteer visits and a Pet Champion Scheme for the services that house and support pet owners.
The course, Welcoming Pets in Temporary Accommodation, trains hostel staff, supported accommodation staff, day centre staff, volunteers and partner organisations to accept and support pets safely. It has six sections of about 5 minutes each, and the animations will sit inside them alongside quizzes and downloadable resources.

- Some scenes depict cuts, limited visible blood or burns. These must be clear, non-graphic and suitable for young children. Confirm before accepting that your production methods can deliver this content despite any AI-tool restrictions.

**Characters and audio**
- Up to 15 human characters, plus our existing mascot.
- Ten human characters across the scenarios: five pairs, each appearing in two videos.
- Up to five additional non-speaking characters in the explainers.
- AI-generated voices for up to ten human characters, plus one consistent mascot voice. No voice-actor hiring required.
- Include all voice generation, appropriate sound effects and audio mixing. Voices must sound natural and suit the characters.

**Review and deliverables**
- A timed storyboard preview—scene pictures with rough audio—before full animation, with one feedback round.
- Two rounds of consolidated revisions per video, plus two rounds for the reusable mascot collection.
- Finished videos, separate reusable clips and editable working files for future changes.
- Commercial usage rights covering all supplied animation and audio.

Scripts and storyboards will be agreed before production. Revisions should cover timing, movement, expressions, audio and presentation within the agreed brief.
