We are looking for an experienced 2D character animator to work on a children’s animated series, for a special 30-episode series.

Each episode will be approximately 2–3 minutes maximum.

The creative foundation is already developed. We have approximately 8 recurring characters, established character designs, and the episodes will largely use the same visual environment/backgrounds and recurring assets.

The stories/scripts are written by us, and we will also provide the Arabic translation/dialogue. The animator will therefore not be responsible for story writing or translation.

The animation style will be 2D character/cartoon animation. We are looking for expressive, engaging animation suitable for children, with particular attention to facial expressions, character movements and interactions.

Scope includes:

Production Pipeline
We provide the approved episode script.

You design any new environments or unique props required for the episode.

AI-Assisted Animation

AI-assisted animation is welcome if it helps you work efficiently. However, the finished videos must not look obviously AI-generated.

Poor lip-sync or facial expressions
Generic or lifeless animation

We are hiring two experienced 2D character artists/riggers for a paid prototype stage of a confidential, currently untitled animated comedy project.

The production platform may be either Moho Pro or Reallusion Cartoon Animator 5. Applicants must identify which platform they recommend and provide examples of professional character rigs created in that software. Both characters will ultimately need to use the same selected platform.

Two freelancers may be selected under separate contracts:

• Freelancer 1: Create and rig a recognizable Donald Trump parody character using the supplied approved reference sheet.
