What resulted was three missed deadlines, once of which resulted in an extremely embarrassing website launch meeting, with no website. Not only was the front end a rough representation of what i asked for, they seemed to constantly struggle with back-end functionality, working many hours with little progress.
The contract ended with me paying the full $900 Jack quoted me, and I still didn't have an e-commerce site. In fact, it wasn't even close to being done. I had to cancel the contract and hire another designer (at another $900) to do it right from scratch, which he did in two weeks. No refund, not even an apology, just "this is sometimes how technology works".
I have seen other great reviews from States Collective, may this was just luck of the draw.
