Our job is to turn their expertise into content that reaches and resonates with large audiences. But great content alone is not enough. For content to reach people, it needs strong packaging. That means thumbnails and titles that instantly communicate curiosity, emotion, and clarity. This role is for someone who is obsessed with YouTube, understands human psychology, and knows how thumbnails and titles work together to drive clicks. If you enjoy studying high-performing thumbnails, testing variations, and thinking deeply about why people click, this role is for you. THE WORK + For each video you will design 4–5 thumbnail concepts, along with small variations so we can test different elements. + We’ll provide assets such as scripts, reaction image packs, and the video title or concept. + Your role is to turn those inputs into scroll-stopping thumbnails built for performance. THUMBNAIL APPROACH For every video, one thumbnail should remain very simple, acting as a control version. This might look like a black background, one bold word, and a strong image of the subject. Simple thumbnails often outperform complex ones. The remaining thumbnails can test different ideas and creative directions. As part of your workflow, you should quickly review similar videos on YouTube to see what is currently performing in that niche and design thumbnails that can compete in that environment. You should also know how to make the subject look strong on camera, match the facial expression to the tone of the video, and ensure the thumbnail remains clear and compelling on mobile. I am looking for an illustration of an innovative suturing technique on the lower eyelid. Essentially, sutures on the lower eyelid are tricky because the short, poky tails can cause corneal abrasions. I have come up with a suture technique that I call the "Rapunzel Suture" that leaves long, cascading suture tails. Once the deep sutures have been made to approximate the tarsus of the lower eyelid, a single vertical mattress suture is placed at the gray line of the lower eyelid. Its tail is left long and is "captured" by the knot of the next suture down (just a simple interrupted suture). Each subsequent set of suture tails is captured by the knot of the next suture down. An added bonus of this technique is that the bundle, which lays parallel to the axis of the incision, helps to create eversion on the incision, which is desirable for healing. Once all the sutures are tied, the bundle of suture tails is secured with a Steri-Strip at the inferior-most aspect. I would like the illustration to have a few components: 1) First pane - "Pentagonal wedge design": lower eyelid defect with a planned pentagonal wedge inferior to it.
