Figma Design-System Specialist — HTML-to-Figma Fidelity Rebuild (Ongoing)
Applied

$10 - $20

|
We're rebuilding a large marketing website's page templates as faithful Figma frames, sourced from a finalized set of HTML prototypes (the HTML is design canon — Figma must match it near-exactly). The system already has a real design-token architecture (DTCG two-tier tokens, ~100+ registered components, defined breakpoints) and a working pipeline — we just need someone sharp, fast, and detail-obsessed to execute it and keep pushing it forward.
What you'll actually be doing: Compare finished HTML pages against their Figma counterparts and find drift — missing sections, wrong component reuse, broken counts, hardcoded values that should be token-bound, wrong breakpoint behavior. Build/fix Desktop (1440), Tablet (1024), and Mobile (390) responsive frames using our existing component library — never redrawing shapes that should be component instances. Bind every color/size/spacing value to the correct semantic design token (not primitives, never raw hex). Flag genuine gaps (missing component, ambiguous source) instead of guessing or substituting something close. Keep a couple of tracking files in sync with what you build (we'll show you the format — it's simple, just needs discipline). You're a strong fit if you: Have deep, hands-on Figma expertise: variants, auto-layout, variable/token binding, component libraries — not just visual design. Can read HTML/CSS well enough to verify a Figma frame against it (class names, spacing, breakpoints) without hand-holding. Have worked with a real design-token system (DTCG or similar) and understand primitive vs. semantic tokens. Are comfortable with ambiguity but don't fill gaps with guesses — you flag and ask instead of inventing. Move fast without sacrificing precision. We need both — not one traded for the other. Communicate proactively: short, clear updates on what's built vs. what's blocked. Nice to have: Experience with a componentized design system shared between Figma and a codebase (Code Connect or similar). Familiarity with responsive design composition (not just resizing — real column-collapse/reflow decisions). Engagement: Hourly, ongoing. Start with a short paid trial task (one real page, all three breakpoints) so we can both confirm fit before committing to a longer run. To apply, please include: A link to a Figma file where you built/maintained a real token-based design system (not just static mockups). One sentence on how you'd verify a Figma frame matches an HTML source page. Your available hours/week and timezone.

GOIMU Brand & Shopify Design Partnership

About Us
GOIMU has been building fitness equipment for 3 years, with a focus on home strength training (power racks, Smith machines, cable stations, benches, dumbbells, weight plates, etc.) plus a smaller cardio and Pilates line. Our products range from entry-level accessories around $79.99 to flagship machines at $1,399.99. Our Shopify store launched about 6 months ago, and monthly revenue has been growing rapidly. We're now preparing to scale toward $1,000,000/month in sales — and we need our brand identity and store experience to match that level of ambition. This project is directly tied to supporting that growth. You can review our current site at goimufitness.com to understand where we are today. Our Brand Philosophy We're not just a fitness equipment store. We see ourselves as a fitness companion and guide — helping home trainees achieve their fitness goals, not just selling them metal. Every touchpoint — from the first impression on the homepage to the post-purchase experience — should communicate expertise, trust, and genuine support for the customer's fitness journey. This matters for the design work: we're not optimizing for a catalog look. We're building a brand that people trust with their fitness goals. What We're Looking For Two things are non-negotiable for us: 1. No template work. We need a partner who can deeply understand our brand, our customers, and our growth goals — then design from that understanding. If your approach starts with "pick a theme and customize it," we're probably not a fit. 2. Conversion-first, not design for design's sake. We want design that genuinely improves the user's path to purchase. If an element doesn't serve the user or move the needle on conversion, it doesn't belong. With that in mind, here are the specific areas we need help with: 1. Brand Visual Identity Brand color system, typography, visual language Design guidelines / style guide that we can use internally going forward 2. Shopify Store Visual Design Homepage, collection/category pages, product detail pages, policy pages, and other key templates 3. UX & Interaction Design User flows, navigation architecture, product discovery experience Mobile experience (critical for our audience) Trust-building elements, social proof integration, conversion-oriented layout decisions 4. Shopify Implementation & Delivery Turning approved designs into a live, functional, responsive Shopify store You don't need to cover all four areas. If your expertise is in one or two — say, visual design only, or development only — tell us which. We're open to working with specialists and assembling the right combination. How We Work This is an iterative partnership, not a one-shot handoff. We expect regular syncs and progress visibility throughout the engagement. We'd like post-delivery support for a period — to handle adjustments, new pages, and optimizations as we learn from real user data and A/B tests. Our team runs performance marketing in-house (paid social, search), so we bring a strong conversion and data perspective to the collaboration. We expect you to match that with data-informed design decisions, not just aesthetic preferences.

Expert UX/UI Designer Needed: Fitness App Onboarding & General UX Health (Android / KMP)
Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to optimize our fitness application, which is built using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and native Android. The immediate priority is a complete overhaul of our user onboarding flows to eliminate friction, encourage user commitment, and maximize retention. Following the onboarding revamp, the project will expand into a comprehensive audit and enhancement of the general UX health throughout the entire application. Scope of Work: Onboarding Optimization: Analyze the current onboarding experience, identify drop-off points, and design a seamless, intuitive flow tailored to new fitness app users. UX Health Audit: Evaluate core app features (such as activity tracking, goal setting, and progress visualization) and navigation, identifying areas of friction or poor usability. Wireframing & Prototyping: Deliver low-fidelity wireframes for structural changes and high-fidelity, interactive prototypes for final approval. UI Polish: Ensure the visual design aligns with modern Android and Material Design standards while accommodating KMP development considerations. Key Requirements: Proven track record in mobile app UX/UI design, specifically for Android platforms. Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) development environments and how they impact UI/UX design choices. Prior experience designing for the health, wellness, or fitness app industry is highly preferred. Strong portfolio featuring past work on complex onboarding flows and user retention strategies (we will review this via your Upwork profile). Expertise in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Deep understanding of user-centric design principles, interaction design, and information architecture. In Your Proposal, Please Include: A brief overview of your process for diagnosing and fixing UX friction points in an existing application. Reference to any specific case studies in your profile where you successfully improved a mobile app's onboarding flow or overall UX.

UX/UI review of a live market visualization web app
wtf.market is a real-time stock and crypto visualization tool. Instead of tables, companies render as live bubbles that move and resize with the market. It also scores companies against classic investing books (Graham, Buffett, Lynch, Greenblatt) and explains each verdict in plain language. It's live and it works, but I'm a backend engineer, and it's never had a designer's eyes on it. I'd really value an experienced outside perspective. What would help most: 1. How does it feel to land on this for the first time? 2. Where might people get lost or lose interest? 3. Is the information hierarchy right — am I leading with the wrong things? 4. Prioritized recommendations, so I know what to tackle first A bit unusual: it isn't a standard dashboard. It's a WebGL canvas with physics-driven bubbles, so the usual layout conventions only half-apply. Inspired by https://cryptobubbles.net/ and https://banterbubbles.com/home. How I work: feel free to be candid, I'd genuinely rather hear the hard notes than the polite ones Job scope/expectations: in-depth website design review First step: I'd love to hop on a short call if that's an option to discuss the project vision, context, roadblocks, etc.

I'm a solo founder building a website and want to actually learn a skill, not just outsource it. Looking for someone with real UX/product background to walk me through:
How to document a user journey (mapping the steps/flow on a site) How to build a sitemap from a set of features How to break down a competitor's site to borrow their smart UX patterns How to review a draft I get back from my developer against a plan I'd rather learn by doing this on my actual project than watch generic tutorials. So ideally we hop on a call, work through a real example together, and I walk away knowing how to do this myself going forward. If you've got experience in UX/product design and are good at explaining your process (not just doing the work silently), I'd love to hear from you. Send a quick example of a journey map or sitemap you've made, and your rate.

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX developer or product designer to help improve the user experience for Courier HQ, our software platform for courier businesses.
Our clients are currently running into friction inside the platform, and we need someone who can do more than make the app look better. We need someone who can audit the current user journey, identify bottlenecks, spot confusing flows, and recommend practical improvements that make the software easier to use across desktop, tablet, and mobile. The ideal person should be able to: - Review the current platform and identify UX problems, friction points, and confusing workflows - Understand how real users move through a SaaS dashboard - Recommend improvements for onboarding, navigation, dashboards, job/activity flows, billing, and key user actions - Create clear mockups or prototypes showing what the improved experience should look like - Design for web, tablet, and mobile responsiveness - Think from the customer’s perspective, not just the visual design side - Communicate clearly with our team and provide developer-ready recommendations or handoff notes Deliverables may include: - UX audit of the current platform - List of key bottlenecks and recommended fixes - Updated mockups for the most important screens - Mobile/tablet responsive layout recommendations - Clear explanation of why each change improves the customer experience We are especially interested in someone who has experience improving SaaS products, dashboards, customer portals, logistics tools, marketplaces, or other software platforms where usability and workflow clarity matter. We are looking for an experienced dashboard designer and builder with hands-on experience using Lovable to redesign the user dashboard for our SaaS business, DropFlowLister.
This is not simply a UI design project. We need someone who understands UX, SaaS onboarding, the buyer/user journey, information architecture, and dashboard usability and can translate that into a clean, intuitive dashboard inside Lovable. Our platform has a significant number of tools and features, so one of the biggest goals of this redesign is making the product feel simple and easy to navigate without removing functionality. What You'll Be Working On You will review our existing user dashboard and redesign the overall dashboard experience, including areas such as: Main dashboard / user home Navigation and feature organization New-user onboarding experience Getting-started flows Subscription/account information Product/tool discovery User progress and activation Notifications and important actions Help/support access Overall dashboard UX and visual hierarchy We want users to immediately understand: 1. Where they are 2. What they should do next 3. Which tools are available to them 4. How those tools help them accomplish their goal The dashboard should guide users through the product rather than simply displaying a collection of features. What We're Looking For You MUST have: Previous experience building projects with Lovable A portfolio showing dashboards, SaaS products, web apps, or similar UX work Strong understanding of SaaS UX/UI Experience designing around the customer/buyer journey Understanding of user onboarding and product activation Strong information architecture skills Ability to simplify complex products Experience designing dashboards around actual functionality rather than just appearance Ability to work within an existing product rather than designing something completely disconnected from the underlying application Experience with SaaS products, Chrome extensions, e-commerce software, automation software, or marketplaces is a major plus. Important We are not looking for someone whose only experience is prompting Lovable to generate websites. We need someone who understands why a dashboard should be structured a certain way and can explain their UX decisions. You should be comfortable looking at our current dashboard and identifying things such as: Where users may be confused Where users may drop off Which features are difficult to discover What should be prioritized above the fold How navigation should be organized How new users should be guided How experienced users can quickly access frequently used tools How the dashboard can contribute to higher trial activation and paid conversion To Apply Please include: Examples of Lovable projects you have personally worked on Your portfolio At least one example of a SaaS dashboard or web application you designed A short explanation of your approach to redesigning an existing SaaS dashboard How you think about user journey, onboarding, and activation when designing dashboards Please do not apply without relevant work examples. We're looking for someone who can help us turn a powerful product with many features into an experience that feels organized, intuitive, professional, and extremely easy to use.

About Pension101
Pension101 is a financial literacy platform built to help people actually understand their own financial situation — not just see a number, but understand the nuances behind it. We build high-quality calculators covering pensions (CalSTRS, CalPERS, LACERA), investments, 401(k)s, taxes, probate fees, and RMDs, so people can explore their own numbers before making major financial decisions. We make this sustainable by connecting people with licensed professionals: fiduciary advisors, CPAs, mortgage brokers, attorneys. Every calculator, every page, and every interaction is designed to build enough trust and clarity that someone chooses to connect with a counselor and shows up to that conversation. The role We're hiring our first dedicated UI/UX Designer. You'll join a small team, which means your work will have an outsized, visible impact on the product Right now, our desktop experience is decent but our mobile experience is clunky, and across the board we need an interface that makes complex financial information feel simple and trustworthy rather than overwhelming. You'll be responsible for fixing that — redesigning existing flows, and creating new mockups and drafts for engineers to build as we launch new calculators and CTAs. This role is design execution, not design research. Requirements and user insights will be handed to you; your job is translating them into interfaces that are clear, credible, and easy to act on — especially on mobile, and especially at the moments that matter most: understanding a calculator result, and deciding to connect with a counselor. What you'll do Redesign and simplify existing UI/UX across the platform, with a strong focus on fixing mobile usability Design new calculators and financial tools in collaboration with the founder and engineering team, from early wireframes through polished, dev-ready mockups Design and optimize the calls-to-action that drive people toward booking and attending a counselor session — this is our single most important conversion path Write and refine UI copy that makes financial concepts easy to understand without oversimplifying them Maintain and evolve a consistent visual system (color, type, components) across calculators, marketing pages, and CTAs Use AI design/prototyping tools to move quickly from concept to testable mockup Translate handed-off research and requirements into interface decisions — you won't be running studies, but you will need to interpret findings well Partner closely with engineers to make sure designs translate faithfully into the built product What we're looking for 3–5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a portfolio that shows real product work (not just visual concepts) Strong proficiency in Figma Comfort using AI tools as part of your design workflow (prototyping, ideation, content assistance, etc.) Strong eye for color and visual design — able to make dense, technical information feel clean and approachable Strong copywriting instincts — you can write or tightly edit UI copy that makes financial concepts clear Some familiarity with finance, investing, or fintech concepts is preferred (you don't need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable getting up to speed on pensions, RMDs, taxes, etc.) Experience designing for mobile-first or mobile-heavy products Comfortable working in a small team where priorities move quickly and your design decisions ship fast Why join Join at the ground floor as our first dedicated designer — your work will directly shape a product used by people making major financial decisions Real growth opportunity as the company scales Full-time, remote role with a small, direct team and a short path from idea to shipped design Quarterly in-person meetups in the Pasadena, CA area Client's questions:

Project Type: Fixed Price Budget: Up to $15,000 Industry: Beverage / Energy Drink / CPG / FMCG Platform: Shopify Level: Expert Only About the Project We are preparing to launch WOW SAFFRON, a premium saffron energy drink brand developed for the U.S. market with a long-term vision for international expansion. We are looking for an exceptional Senior CPG/Beverage E-Commerce Creative Director + Shopify B2B & International Expert with professional UX/UI expertise to create a premium, scalable global e-commerce platform. This is not a typical Shopify website project. We are not looking for someone who simply installs a Shopify theme, changes colors, adds products, and launches a store. We need a senior professional or specialized team capable of combining: Beverage/CPG Experience + Creative Direction + Professional UX/UI + Shopify Development + DTC E-Commerce + B2B/Wholesale + International Commerce Our goal is to build a digital platform that can eventually support: Consumers → Retailers → Chain Stores → Wholesale Buyers → Distributors → Importers → International Markets 1. Professional UX/UI Design — Required Professional UX/UI is a major part of this project. We expect the website experience to be designed professionally before full Shopify development begins. The scope should include: Information architecture Sitemap Customer journey mapping B2C user flows B2B/wholesale user flows Distributor/importer user flows Wireframes High-fidelity UX/UI Desktop design Mobile-first design Responsive design Interactive Figma prototype Navigation architecture Conversion-focused UX Product discovery experience Shopping journey Wholesale buyer journey International visitor journey Design system Typography system Visual hierarchy Reusable component library Organized Figma source files The final website should feel custom, premium, sophisticated, modern and international. It should NOT look like a standard Shopify template. 2. Proven Beverage / CPG Experience We strongly prefer candidates with direct experience in: Energy drinks Functional beverages Soft drinks Premium beverages Food & beverage brands CPG/FMCG Physical consumer products We want to see real brands and real commercial projects that you personally worked on. If the majority of your portfolio consists of SaaS, fintech, apps, dashboards, corporate websites, or generic Shopify stores, you may not be the right fit for this project. We specifically value professionals who understand how consumers discover, evaluate, trust, and purchase a new beverage brand. 3. Premium DTC E-Commerce The consumer-facing side of the website should provide a premium brand and shopping experience. Potential functionality includes: Premium homepage Product storytelling Product pages Multipack options Mobile shopping experience Shopping cart Conversion optimization Subscription/repeat-purchase capability if appropriate Store locator / Where to Buy capability Ingredient storytelling Brand story Product education Retail availability Reviews/social proof Email capture SEO-ready structure Fast site performance Scalable architecture for future products Creative direction for professional product photography, 3D renders, video, animation and other premium visual assets should also be considered where appropriate. 4. Advanced B2B / Wholesale Platform B2B and wholesale are extremely important parts of this project. The website should not simply have a page saying “Contact Us for Wholesale.” We want a professionally designed B2B experience capable of serving: Independent retailers Convenience stores Grocery stores Supermarkets Specialty retailers Retail chains Foodservice buyers Wholesale buyers Distributors Importers International partners The B2B UX should be designed around the needs of professional buyers. Potential capabilities include: Apply for a wholesale account Retailer registration Distributor application Importer inquiry Business/company information Buyer contact information Number of retail locations Country and territory Estimated purchasing volume Business verification Account approval workflow Approved wholesale accounts Wholesale pricing Case ordering Pallet ordering Minimum order quantities Volume pricing Request a quote Sample requests Account login B2B reorder functionality Order history Downloadable product information Sell sheets Product specifications Wholesale sales materials Sales representative contact The B2B/Wholesale section must have its own professional UX/UI and customer journey. 5. Retail Chain & Enterprise Integration-Ready Architecture We want the platform built with future retail growth in mind. We understand that major retail chains may operate through their own: EDI systems APIs Vendor portals Procurement platforms Purchase-order systems Inventory systems ERP systems We are NOT expecting one Shopify website to automatically connect to every major retailer worldwide. However, we want someone who understands B2B commerce architecture and can help us create an integration-ready foundation for future connections with retailers, distributors and enterprise systems where commercially appropriate. Experience with EDI, API, ERP, retailer/vendor integrations or B2B commerce integrations is highly valuable. 6. International / Multi-Country E-Commerce WOW SAFFRON is being built with international expansion in mind. We need an architecture capable of supporting: Multiple countries Multiple regions Multiple languages Multiple currencies Shopify Markets International domains/subdomains where appropriate Localized content Localized customer experiences Country-specific product availability Country-specific pricing where necessary Regional distributors International wholesale inquiries International distributor applications International SEO Regional landing pages We do NOT expect every country and every language to be fully activated on launch day. Instead, we want the international foundation designed correctly from the beginning, so additional countries, languages and markets can be added efficiently as the brand expands. 7. Creative Direction We are not simply looking for someone who follows our instructions. We want someone who can bring senior-level creative and commercial thinking to the project. You should be able to evaluate our existing: Brand identity Product Packaging Cans Multipacks Photography Visual assets Messaging Website direction and recommend improvements where necessary. We want someone who understands the complete commercial journey: Brand → Consumer → Retail Buyer → Chain Store → Distributor → Importer → International Market and can translate that strategy into a premium digital experience. 8. Shopify Development After UX/UI approval, the selected candidate/team should be capable of translating the approved designs into a professional Shopify implementation. We expect: Custom Shopify development Responsive implementation High-quality mobile experience Clean navigation Strong performance Appropriate Shopify app architecture B2B/wholesale implementation International architecture Analytics readiness SEO fundamentals Testing Quality assurance Launch support We want thoughtful development decisions rather than unnecessary apps that make the website slow, expensive, or difficult to maintain. 9. Who We Are Looking For You may be: A senior individual expert OR A small specialized team/studio But you must be able to demonstrate expertise across the major areas required for this project. Ideal expertise includes: CPG/Beverage Creative Direction Professional UX/UI Design Beverage/FMCG branding Shopify UX Shopify development Shopify B2B/Wholesale International Shopify architecture Shopify Markets Retail buyer UX Distributor UX Conversion optimization International localization API/EDI integration planning Premium consumer brand design 10. Required Deliverables At minimum, we expect the project to address: Strategy & Architecture Website strategy Information architecture B2C/B2B architecture International architecture Recommended technology/app stack UX/UI Sitemap User journeys Wireframes B2C flows B2B flows Desktop UX/UI Mobile UX/UI High-fidelity Figma designs Interactive prototype Design system Reusable components Shopify Shopify development DTC e-commerce implementation B2B/wholesale implementation International architecture Responsive implementation Testing QA Launch support 11. Required With Your Proposal DO NOT send us a generic Upwork proposal. To confirm that you have read this job description, begin your proposal with: WOW SAFFRON Then answer ALL of the following: Show us 3 real beverage, food, CPG or FMCG brands you personally worked on. Explain exactly what YOU did for each project. Show us your strongest professional UX/UI project for a physical consumer product brand. Show us your strongest Shopify e-commerce project. Show us a B2B/wholesale platform you have designed or developed. Have you designed separate B2C and B2B customer journeys? Please explain. Have you worked with Shopify Markets? Have you built multilingual and multi-currency Shopify experiences? Have you worked with international e-commerce localization? Do you have experience with API, EDI, ERP or retailer/vendor-system integrations? How would you structure WOW SAFFRON’s consumer and wholesale experiences differently? How would you architect the website for international expansion? What exactly would you deliver within our $15,000 fixed-price budget? What would NOT be included within that budget? What third-party Shopify apps, software or services would likely require additional monthly or annual fees? What timeline would you recommend from strategy through launch? Who specifically will perform the UX/UI work? Who specifically will perform the Shopify development? Will any part of the project be outsourced? If yes, explain exactly what will be outsourced. After launch, what support or warranty period do you provide for bugs and technical issues? IMPORTANT We already have: The physical product Product samples Printed cans Packaging designs Multipack designs Brand assets Product information The selected professional will be able to review these assets before finalizing the website’s creative direction. I’m looking for a talented mobile UI/UX designer to refine an existing iOS app and make it feel more premium, polished, modern, and native to iOS. The app is already designed and actively being developed, so I am not looking for a full redesign or new branding. I want to preserve the current dark visual direction while improving spacing, typography, hierarchy, components, gradients, navigation states, and overall consistency. The project will involve approximately 7 core mobile screens plus a few related states. Final designs should be delivered in Figma with clear developer handoff so my SwiftUI developer can recreate them accurately. Please apply only if you have strong mobile app design experience. Send 2–4 relevant iOS/mobile examples that you personally designed, preferably including dark-mode consumer apps. I’m looking for someone who can take an already functional app and give it the final level of polish needed to feel like a premium App Store product.

Grainik is an early-stage AgTech marketplace connecting farmers, buyers, and supply chain players across Nigeria and Africa. Agriculture across the continent runs on broken, informal networks — farmers can't reliably reach buyers, buyers can't reliably source quality product, and everyone in between absorbs the risk. We're building the infrastructure to fix that: a marketplace that makes trade transparent, reliable, and scalable.
We're pre-seed, moving fast, and building the founding team right now. This isn't a role at a company with a playbook already written — you'd be one of the people writing it. The Role We're looking for a Founding Product Designer to own the end-to-end product experience — from first wireframe to shipped UI, across both mobile and web. You won't be handed a spec and asked to make it pretty. You'll be in the room for product decisions, helping figure out what we should build, not just how it should look. This is an equity-only role — we're not able to offer salary yet. In exchange, you get real ownership (meaningful equity, not a token grant), influence over the product direction from day one, and a live, shipping product to build your portfolio around. What you'll do Own product design end-to-end: research, wireframes, prototypes, final UI Design across mobile and web, for users ranging from smallholder farmers to enterprise buyers Build our design system and component library from scratch as the product scales Work directly with the founding team on product strategy, not just execution Talk to real users — farmers, buyers, logistics partners — to inform design decisions Iterate fast; we ship and learn, not spend months polishing before launch What we're looking for 3–6 years of UI/UX experience, with a portfolio that shows real process — wireframes through final UI, not just polished shots Strong Figma skills Solid understanding of mobile and web design patterns, and how they differ Comfortable with ambiguity — early-stage means the problem isn't always well-defined yet Genuinely wants to build something long-term with a team, not just add a logo to a resume Bonus: interest in or experience with emerging markets, agriculture, or marketplace products What you get Meaningful equity in a company you're helping shape from the ground up Real ownership over product direction — your decisions ship A live, growing product for your portfolio, not a case study you had to invent Direct access to the founding team, no layers of approval Room to grow into a bigger design leadership role as we scale and raise

|
We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer with strong payment/checkout experience to significantly improve the UI and UX of an existing embedded payment component used within our web application.
The payment component is already technically integrated and functional. Our goal is to make the experience feel premium, modern, intuitive, trustworthy, responsive, and conversion-focused. This is primarily a UI/UX design and product experience project, not a greenfield payment implementation. We want someone who can look at the existing experience critically, identify UX problems and opportunities, and redesign the experience to a much higher standard. What You'll Be Working On The existing payment experience supports multiple payment methods, including: Credit/debit cards Apple Pay Google Pay Local/regional payment methods Other payment methods that may require an external/hosted flow The payment component is embedded directly within our application rather than being a completely separate checkout page. We need the designer to improve how these payment methods are presented and how users move through the entire payment journey. Main Goals The redesigned experience should: Look modern and premium Feel trustworthy and secure Be extremely easy to understand Minimize friction during payment Improve the overall checkout experience Work beautifully on mobile and desktop Clearly communicate payment methods Make the primary action obvious Handle errors and edge cases gracefully Maintain consistency with the surrounding application Feel like a native part of our product rather than a third-party widget UX Areas We Want You to Explore We would like you to evaluate and improve areas such as: Payment Method Selection Improve the way available payment methods are presented. Consider: Visual hierarchy Grouping and categorization Payment method prioritization Selected/unselected states Logos and iconography Clear descriptions Mobile presentation Reducing cognitive load Card Payment Experience Improve the complete card-entry experience, including: Card number Expiry date CVV Cardholder information where applicable Field labels/placeholders Validation Formatting Focus states Error states Loading states Primary CTA Security/trust indicators Mobile UX Mobile is extremely important. The experience should be designed specifically for smaller screens rather than simply being a desktop design scaled down. Please consider: Touch targets Keyboard behavior Field spacing Sticky/fixed payment CTA where appropriate Screen real estate Payment-method selection Error visibility One-handed usability Payment States We need designs for more than the "happy path." Please consider and design appropriate UX for: Initial state Empty state Selected payment method Entering payment details Validation errors Invalid card Missing fields Payment processing Loading Payment success Payment failure Retry Expired session Network/technical errors Redirect/hosted payment scenarios Authentication/verification flows where applicable What We Expect From You We are not simply looking for someone to make the existing UI "prettier." We want someone who can challenge the existing UX and propose a better payment experience. You should be comfortable answering questions such as: Can the payment flow be simplified? Is the user's next action immediately obvious? Are we presenting too much information? Are payment methods prioritized correctly? Does the UI communicate trust? Are errors easy to understand and recover from? Is the experience optimized for mobile? Can we reduce unnecessary steps? Does the payment experience feel like part of our product? How can the design improve user confidence and completion rate? Deliverables We expect the following deliverables in Figma: UX review of the existing payment experience Recommended UX improvements Redesigned payment experience Desktop designs Mobile designs Payment-method selection states Card-payment states Error and validation states Loading/processing states Success/failure states Responsive behavior specifications Component/state documentation Design tokens/styles where appropriate Developer-ready Figma designs Final handoff documentation We would also like recommendations for any UX improvements that may require changes to the surrounding checkout experience. Design Quality We are looking for a high-quality product designer, not someone who simply applies a generic UI kit. The final result should feel comparable to the quality of modern products from leading fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, and payment companies. The design should be: Clean Modern Minimal Professional Trustworthy Accessible Responsive Conversion-focused Consistent Easy to implement Technical Context The payment experience is provided through an existing embedded payment SDK/component. The component has customization capabilities, so the designer should work within the capabilities of the existing system while identifying where the surrounding application can be improved. We will provide the relevant technical documentation and access to a suitable test/demo environment. You do not need to build the payment infrastructure. The primary responsibility is to design and improve the user experience. However, experience working with embedded payment components, payment SDKs, checkout systems, or fintech products is highly preferred. Ideal Candidate You are a strong fit if you have: 4+ years of UI/UX/Product Design experience Strong Figma skills Experience designing checkout/payment experiences Experience with fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, or similar products Strong responsive/mobile design experience Excellent understanding of interaction design Experience designing complex component states Strong visual design skills Understanding of accessibility Ability to work closely with developers Ability to explain your design decisions Strong Bonus Experience with: Payment gateways Embedded payment forms Checkout optimization Conversion optimization Design systems Mobile wallets Apple Pay / Google Pay UX RTL interfaces Arabic/MENA payment experiences Important Please do not redesign this as a completely independent checkout page. The goal is to create an embedded payment experience that feels like a native, polished part of our existing product. We want the designer to respect the technical constraints of the existing payment component while pushing the UX and visual quality as far as reasonably possible. How to Apply Please include: 3–5 examples of your best UI/UX work At least one payment, checkout, fintech, e-commerce, or transactional experience if you have one A short explanation of what you improved in those projects Your Figma portfolio, if available Your estimated timeline for this project Your preferred pricing model: fixed price or hourly One Important Question Please answer this question in your proposal: If you were given an existing embedded payment form that works technically but feels visually outdated and slightly difficult to use, what are the first 5 things you would evaluate before redesigning it? We are looking for someone who thinks deeply about UX, usability, trust, and conversion, not just visual styling. Project Structure We are open to starting with a small initial design/UX phase. A successful engagement could potentially continue into additional checkout and product UX work. We are looking for someone who can become a long-term design partner rather than simply deliver a single Figma file. Please apply only if you have strong product/UI/UX experience and can show relevant work.

Required deliverables Information architecture and user flows Define the complete navigation structure and critical journeys, including onboarding, voice conversation, text conversation, Google Drive connection, document synchronization, and account settings. Production-ready high-fidelity UI Design all 20 primary screens and all required states in Figma. It should not be hidden inside secondary navigation. Timeline You must complete the assignment within 72 hours of project commencement. I'm looking for an experienced Squarespace 7.1 designer/strategist to refresh and improve my existing website for an established acupuncture and aesthetics practice in Portland, Oregon.
Current website: AURUMpdx.com This is not a complete rebuild or rebrand. I already have a logo, branding, photography, content, and a functioning website. I'm looking for someone who can simplify the site, improve the user experience, and help convert more visitors into patients. My priority is increasing patient bookings—not simply making the site look nicer. The Challenge: My practice has two equally important specialties: -Medical Acupuncture -Cosmetic Acupuncture & Aesthetic Treatments The current website doesn't clearly guide visitors. I'd like the homepage to quickly direct people to one of two clear paths: Medical Acupuncture or Cosmetic Acupuncture & Aesthetic Treatments From there, the experience should be intuitive, informative, and make it easy to book through JaneApp. Goals: I'm looking for a website that feels -Clean -Modern -Light and easy to navigate -Professional and welcoming -Designed to build trust and increase bookings Areas I'd like to improve include: -Homepage messaging and layout -Navigation and user flow -Mobile experience -Calls-to-action -Before & after galleries -Testimonials -GLP-1 support page (considering this) -Better organization of medical and aesthetic services -Practical local SEO recommendations I already have much of the content—I'm looking for help organizing and presenting it more effectively. I'm looking for someone experienced with: Squarespace 7.1 UX/UI Conversion optimization Healthcare, wellness, aesthetics, or other service-based businesses Local SEO I'm looking for someone who will bring ideas and strategic recommendations—not simply execute instructions. Project Structure & Budget: I'd like to start with a 90-minute paid strategy consultation ($150 fixed price). If we're a good fit, we'll move forward with a fixed-price website refresh. My anticipated budget is $1,500–2,500, depending on experience and final scope. I'm open to discussing recommendations after the initial strategy consultation. Please include when applying: -Links to 2–3 relevant Squarespace websites you've worked on. -A brief description of your experience with healthcare or service-based businesses. -Your typical process for improving an existing website. Finalists will be asked to review AURUMpdx.com before our interview and discuss the first improvements they would recommend. I'm looking for a collaborative partner who can create a website that is beautiful, easy to use, and helps the right patients feel confident booking their first appointment.
