We're looking for someone who can think beyond making screenshots look attractive and instead create visuals that clearly communicate value and help increase installs.

We are a marketing analytics platform. We are adding a new product module and have three high-fidelity screens built in Visily. We are running a paid trial to find the right front-end designer, and we want a senior designer to apply a strong, consistent, accessible UI/UX layer and a reusable token system.
This is a paid trial to assess fit. A small number of designers will be asked to complete the same brief separately so we can compare real work on our own product. Strong performance may lead to further work, but nothing is guaranteed.

The screens are data and chart heavy and your task is to bring a strong visual system, hierarchy, interaction design and accessibility to these screens.

The Task:
• Apply layout, spacing, colour theming, type hierarchy and table / chart styling across the three screens.
• Build a reusable component system (cards, tables, charts) with all states: default, hover, focus, active, selected, disabled, loading, empty, error.
• Define one accessible, colour-blind-safe chart colour system from our brand palette.
• Deliver a design token set for the master navigation covering its colours, states and interactivity.
• Deliver screen exports (PNG/PDF), a Visily export via the Figma plugin, the .fig source, design tokens and PDF redlines. We use Visily, not Figma: no Figma account share.

Hard requirements
• WCAG 2.2 AA on every screen and state. Text and non-text contrast, visible focus states, no information carried by colour alone, and colour-blind-safe charts. Designs that miss AA will not pass review.
• Master-navigation design token. Deliver the navigation’s colours, states and interactivity as a documented token set. Keep its structure, order and function as shown: colour, states and interactivity only.
• Do not change the underlying data or information architecture. Colour and visual design may improve clarity; the figures and the IA must not change.
• Australian business hours: working hours to align with standard Australian Business hours +/-3 hours. Available for calls during this time.
