He used the same Shopify theme I already had, didn't change description of products, and I had to ask about tags and other things. The site visually looked nice, but it was nothing special that couldn't have been done by myself. On to the ads... Lawal was good at setting up the ads in terms of setting the account up. Again, he didn't do anything special. He used the exact same graphics that I have used the last few months on my own. I previously spoke to him about certain items no longer being available for sale and to not use those graphics. Behold, the very first ad I see has that exact graphic in it. The demographics were set to places that my product wouldn't be sold in and to people who wouldn't buy it. It seemed like none of the input I gave to him was used. He basically recycled everything I already was doing and of course there was no uptick in sales. I think Lawal has decent ability to optimize a website, but doesn't seem to actually tailor his strategy to the customer. Most of what he did seems basic and for me was a waste of time and money. On the plus side, he was very available. He also, when told that what he was doing was not what was discussed (change the demographics to X..., add meta tags, take off that graphic, etc) updated the issues.
