Aim for an optimistic, sociable feel with a slightly feminine pull while staying clearly unisex. Explore colour balance and placement freely.

03 / SHARED BIB SHORT
Develop one bib direction that sits naturally with both jerseys. The charcoal / espresso shown here is only a starting point; colour is open. Keep the branding quiet and choose a tone that makes both the understated Core and more expressive Clubhouse top feel considered together.

TEMPLATES AND FIT
Treat fit, panel lines, pocket layout, sleeve details, bib length and other construction as undecided until the supplier templates are selected. The concept stage is about silhouette impression, colour, graphic language and how the pieces work as a family. Where useful, ask the supplier or designer to flag fit options, including a women’s fit, without forcing a decision yet.

BRAND PLACEMENT

* Review and improve the existing homepage, product pages, collections, navigation, product recommendations, and overall presentation.

Brand Direction

Distant Theory has an existing identity that should be maintained rather than replaced.

Initial Engagement

This will initially be a 1–3 month freelance engagement.

I want to build a good working relationship with one freelancer rather than constantly hiring different people. After launch, I will evaluate the partnership based on quality of work, communication, customer response, store performance, and sales metrics.

The first 100 customer sales/orders will be an important evaluation milestone for the brand and our working relationship. Reaching 100 sales is not a requirement for payment or an expectation that the freelancer works indefinitely.

Include 2–3 relevant apparel examples, especially photographic halftones or vintage tour merchandise. Actual printed examples are particularly helpful.

Techy Sean merchandise and hats are already handled and are outside this scope.

Confidentiality: All concept mockups, photographs, portraits, copy, and brand assets are private and provided solely for this project. Assets will be shared only with the hired freelancer, who may be asked to sign an NDA. Materials and final designs may not be shared, posted, reused, or included in a portfolio without our written permission. All final artwork and rights transfer to Served Media upon payment.

Strong portfolio in apparel, typography, or merchandise design

Excellent understanding of Western fashion and design trends

Experience with print-on-demand is a plus

Creative, independent, and detail-oriented
