The project

The aesthetic is heavily inspired by 1950s Cold War/Civil Defense public information pamphlets and early vintage editorial comics. We have a clear structural mockup (attached as "260927 Album Cover.jpg") that dictates the layout: a 6-panel grid with top and bottom text banners. Looking for talent for a small job recreating five music video lower thirds/titles directly from old broadcasts, as motion graphics via Apple Motion to ultimately use in Final Cut Pro.

Attached as images are stills of three of the five so you can get an idea for the sort of graphics in question, they're rather simple animations and styles reflecting the broadcasts of the time. Videos of each would be provided. The other two would be likely to be a 1980s style Kobel MTV cyphon and a 2000s pop channel title. Commission and the fee would be to produce all five.

The brief is to recreate them with animation and styling from supplied videos, matching the original timing, colours, typography, dimensions, etc. The only difference would be putting them together in HD.

I imagine Apple Motion would be the ideal framework to produce these in. I'd like them to be provided in this format but ideally also be prepared for easy use in Final Cut Pro. They should be possible to load into FCP and resize/rescale as appropriate without any problems. So for example, scaling down from HD to fit within a small portion of the frame and still looking correct. The text and colours should naturally be editable on each of them easily and without issue, with provisions made for word wrapping on longer titles and the required responsiveness for this.

This is a good brief for anyone who has experience of recreating television graphics (I believe it's quite a popular hobby for some) or who can easily decipher how a particular animation was made.

As this is a small project I would be looking for a quick turnaround. However, delivery of each one as completed instead of all five arriving in one go would be fine and I could identify a priority order for this, allowing for some of them to take a bit longer to arrive. I appreciate it's not a high fee I'm proposing, as an individual I do not have significant budget scope. I'm looking for a designer/illustrator to create an original logo identity for my small paper-goods business, Tattered Moth Archive. The business sells vintage and antique-inspired paper goods, ephemera, junk journal supplies, and creative paper kits.

The visual direction is Victorian natural history meets forgotten library/archive. Antique botanical illustrations, specimen labels, old correspondence, aged paper, and traditional typography. A Luna moth will be the primary brand emblem. I'm looking for an original, hand-drawn or digitally illustrated moth in the style of an antique natural-history engraving, not a modern minimalist, boho, cartoon, gothic, or occult-style moth.

Scope

Preserve the fine engraving detail. No over-smoothing, halos or heavy sharpening.
Remove dust, specks and camera or lighting artefacts.
Keep the stamp's authentic character perforations, paper tone and postmark. Do not repaint or "modernise" it. (This is crucial).
Correct colour and exposure to look natural, with no oversaturation.
Straighten and crop, and place the stamp on a [white / neutral / paper-texture] border sized for A1.
