Who We Are:
We run a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that has doubled in size each of the last three years and now serves clients across the United States. While the back end is powered by WordPress the front end and dashboard largely use the REST API and Vuejs. We have also developed a number of custom WordPress plugins that we use internally and a few of those have been released publicly.

The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer who can take a feature from a basic idea to a finished product. We need someone who can take a rough idea, figure out the best way to build it, and get it done without needing every tiny detail spelled out.
We don't expect you to be a designer, but you should have a good sense of how an interface should be laid out and how a feature should work. If you’re building a dashboard, you should know where a button belongs and how to make the workflow feel natural for the user.

- Basic UI & UX: We don’t expect you to be a designer, but you should have a strong "internal compass" for UI and UX. You should instinctively know where a button belongs, how a form should flow, and how to make a feature feel intuitive. If a layout feels clunky, you’re the type of person who speaks up and fixes it rather than just following a rough sketch.
- Security & Debugging: You know how to track down a bug to its root cause and you write secure code (knowing how to prevent things like SQL injection).

Big Plus:
- Server & Linux Knowledge: You are comfortable using SSH, working in Linux environments, and understand the basics of DNS, hosting, and SSL.
- Stack Adaptability: While we currently work with Vue and Vuetify, we value a developer who is tool-agnostic. You’re the type of person who stays curious and can comfortably transition between different technologies or frontend libraries as our needs grow.
- Architectural Thinking: You understand how to structure an application for the long term. You don't just "make it work"; you think about how data flows between the backend and frontend, how to keep code modular, and how to build features that won't require a total rewrite in six months.

A few hard truths before you apply
AI is a tool, not a substitute for engineering. We use Cursor and Claude every day, but you still need to understand the code AI produces, debug it when it breaks, and explain trade-offs and decisions when asked. If AI is your only path to a working PR — and you can't defend the PR once it lands — this won't be a fit.
You'll inherit complexity. This is a real codebase with history. You'll spend time reading before you write.
The bar for "done" is high. "It works on my machine" doesn't ship. We care about edge cases, accessibility, regressions, and the ten things the user might do that you didn't think of.
Generic AI-generated cover letters get instant rejection. We can tell. So can the next reviewer.

I need a cross-platform mobile application, released on both iOS and Android, whose sole focus is to streamline customer service for a network of online stores. We’re hiring a web designer to design the complete Shopify storefront.

Our product line includes 9 themed decks (scaling to 20+), each containing 25 cards printed on 4.72″ square, 18pt premium cardstock. The decks are priced at $75 each. This is not a wellness product or a self-help brand — it’s a personal leadership practice delivered through a premium physical product. The website needs to match that positioning.

We have an established brand designer who has created our complete visual identity — logo, card designs, colorscape artwork, typography system, and color palettes for all 9 decks. Your role is to translate that existing brand system into a high-converting Shopify experience. You will not be creating the brand — you will be building its digital home.

The website is the entry point. Once we find the right designer, we plan to work with them long-term across email design, paid ad design (including Meta), seasonal campaign and landing pages, new deck launch pages as the line scales, and every other digital design surface the brand needs. Our brand designer continues to serve as the creative quality gate across all visual output. The web designer collaborates with the brand designer to ensure brand alignment across every digital touchpoint.

DESIGN DIRECTION

Daily Clarity’s visual identity is already established. Our brand system gives you the logo, typography specifications, color palettes for all 9 decks, card front template, card back colorscape artwork, and packaging direction.

The website design should:

- Let the product art breathe: The colorscape artwork on the card backs is the most visually striking element of the brand. The site should frame that art, not compete with it. Generous white space, restrained layouts, and moments where the color hits hard against a clean background.

- Feel premium and intentional: Every element earns its place. Nothing decorates. Everything functions. The user should feel they’re investing in something substantial, not browsing a commodity.

- Convert at a $75 price point: This is not a $15 impulse buy. The site needs to build trust, communicate value, and give the user enough emotional and rational confidence to complete a premium purchase.

- Be airy, bold, and confident: White background. Generous space. Bold typography. Strong contrast. Distinctly Daily Clarity, not a designer’s template.

- Work within Shopify’s architecture: Design with Shopify’s template structure in mind. If you’re designing something custom, flag where it departs from standard Shopify patterns so our developer can plan accordingly.

WHAT WE ARE NOT

Daily Clarity is for a specific kind of person, one who’s tired of surface-level self-help, suspicious of quick fixes, and ready to own the honest work no one can do for them. The design must position strategic thinking tools as a practice of personal leadership. The design must be free from thought-leader or wellness woo, corporate B2B cliches, or limited by traditional therapy or coaching models.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DESIGNING

Full Shopify storefront design, delivered in Figma or a similar tool (Sketch, Penpot, etc.). The deliverable is a complete, component-based design file covering all pages and responsive breakpoints (desktop, tablet, mobile). This is a design-only engagement. We will handle development in-house once the design is approved. The design should be structured for efficient developer handoff with organized frames, reusable components, proper auto-layout, and clear spacing and typography specs.

Many components will be reused across pages (header, footer, persistent newsletter signup, sticky add-to-cart, deck cards, bundle callouts, etc.). A strong component system makes the scope below efficient rather than overwhelming.

PAGES

Detailed briefs will be provided for each page once you’re hired. Below is the high-level scope so you can size the work.

Homepage:
Sets the tone for the entire website. The most important page on the site for first impressions. Communicates what Daily Clarity is, who it’s for, the methodology behind it, and the collection. Must balance emotional brand storytelling with a clear path to purchase, and must make visitors stop and pay attention.

Decks Collection page:
Browseable view of the 9 themed decks. The visual system needs to work for 9 decks today and 20+ as the line scales. Each deck’s unique colorscape artwork functions as both product identity and navigation.

Themed Deck PDP template:
One template, used across all 9 themed decks, plus the 5-card Spark “sampler” deck and the product bundles. The most conversion-critical page on the site. Must justify a $75 purchase for a card deck through methodology, craft, and trust-building. A detailed wireframe specification will be provided for this page.

The Reflection Arc page:
Methodology page explaining the 5A Framework and what makes Daily Clarity’s approach distinct. Functions as the brand’s thought-leadership reference page; linked from PDPs and the homepage.

Clarity Community page:
Marketing and landing page for the private Daily Clarity Community. Communicates what the community is, the benefits of joining, what members can expect, and how much it costs. Anyone who buys a deck receives free access. Needs to make signup feel like joining something, not subscribing to a list.

The Clarity Feed page:
Page dedicated to the brand’s newsletter. Editorial in feel, communicates what subscribers receive and why it’s worth their inbox.

About page:
Communicates the brand thesis, the founder’s story (without founder photography), and the Daily Clarity philosophy.
Contact page: Simple contact form and supporting information.

Cart page:
Custom cart design that feels like part of the brand.
Persistent site elements: Header navigation, footer, and persistent newsletter signup section (above footer). These appear across multiple page types and benefit most from a strong component approach.

Out of scope:
Shopify’s default checkout, thank-you, and account pages. These use Shopify’s native experience without custom design.

Mobile note:
60-70% of traffic is expected from mobile. Every page must be designed mobile-first, not adapted from desktop as an afterthought.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Live DTC e-commerce experience:
You’ve designed direct-to-consumer storefronts that are currently live and converting. You understand collection pages, product pages, cart behavior, and checkout flow. Share live store links in your proposal. Bonus if you’ve worked specifically on Shopify, our platform of choice. Familiarity with Shopify’s constraints is valuable but not required.

High-converting e-commerce design at premium price points: You think about conversion as a design discipline, not an afterthought. You understand visual hierarchy, trust signals, friction reduction, and how to move a user from browsing to buying, especially when the product is $75.

Strong typographic sensibility:
Daily Clarity is a typography-forward brand. The site needs to handle multiple type weights, sizes, and treatments with precision and restraint.

Ability to work from an existing brand system:
You’re comfortable receiving a defined visual identity and translating it faithfully into a digital experience. You enhance and extend the brand, not reinvent it.

Figma or equivalent proficiency:
Component-based design, auto-layout, responsive breakpoints, clean developer handoff.

HIRING PROCESS

Submit your proposal with live store links to your work and a portfolio with examples especially relevant to this project (premium product brands, DTC e-commerce, or work translating an existing brand identity into a high-converting web experience). No portfolio means no consideration.

We’ll select up to 3 finalists for a paid design sample ($500 each). You’ll design the top three sections of the homepage to show us your design direction. Brand guidelines and the logo will be provided. Filler imagery and placeholder copy are fine for this stage. We’re looking to see your visual direction, design instincts, and brand interpretation, not production-ready work.

One designer is selected for the full project. The $500 sample fee is paid separately and is not deducted from the project total.

TIMELINE

We’re looking to make a hire within 10 days of this post going live. Full design must be completed by early June 2026 to support our end-of-June launch.

I need a clear, current photographic record of a shopping center in Salisbury, Maryland. The assignment is limited to exterior work only: capture each main entrance, all visible signage and logos, asphalt parking lots, landscaping, plus every individual storefront, all from ground-level perspectives. We’re a domestic furniture manufacturer with an active shop floor. The majority of our products are aluminum-frame construction, HDPE slat components, powder-coated finishes, and upholstery. We create everything in-house, from aluminum extrusion on laser cutters, weld fixtures, and CNC equipment. We need a SolidWorks engineer whose drawings actually work on the floor. Not someone learning on the job. Someone who’s been inside a real shop knows what a welder needs versus what an assembler needs and has cleaned up a bad drawing package before. If you’re selective about who you work with and want your files to drive real machines, this is the role.

What You’ll Be Doing
You work directly under the Lead Engineer as the technical execution arm of our design-to-production process. Inputs come to you as PDFs, redlines, sketches, or legacy drawings. Your job is to turn them into clean, parametric SolidWorks models and tailored drawing packages that require zero guesswork from the shop.
• Build robust parts and assemblies using best practices — weldments, configurations, equations — that update cleanly without breaking the feature tree
• Manage scalable configurations across size and height variants while maintaining drawing integrity
• Produce department-specific drawing packages: laser/waterjet, welding/fabrication, CNC/HDPE, final assembly, and client approval sets — each formatted for the person actually using it
• Maintain accurate multi-level BOMs covering in-house fab, outsourced parts, and overseas components
• Implement redlines and direction from the Lead Engineer quickly and cleanly
• Convert legacy PDF drawings into fully parametric models optimized for our equipment
• Maintain rigorous file naming, part numbering, and revision control so the right file is always on the floor

Who You Are
You have 3+ years of professional SolidWorks experience in metal fabrication, furniture, or architectural metalwork. You understand aluminum behavior, weld distortion, and powder-coat allowances — not because you read about them, but because you’ve dealt with the consequences when drawings got them wrong.
You’re organized by default. File structure, naming conventions, and version control aren’t things you think about — they’re just how you work. PDM experience is a plus.
You can take a rough sketch or incomplete input, make a strong first interpretation, and refine through feedback without needing the answer handed to you. You study existing files, understand the logic behind them, and replicate that style without handholding.

I am looking for a talented illustrator/logo designer to refine a specific brand mark for my boutique, Lucy Lane. We are a "Modern Heritage" needlepoint shop and I need a custom-drawn Hydrangea that will serve as our primary icon.

The Goal:
The current icon is a placeholder. I need a refined, hand-drawn version that feels high-end, classic, and botanical. It needs to work as a standalone icon, inside a circular seal (emblem), and as a small "favicon" for a website.

Style Requirements:

Style: Fine line-art or "Engraving" style. It should feel like a vintage botanical sketch but with modern, clean lines.

The Signature Detail:
The most important element of this custom illustration is a creative "reveal." I want the stem of the hydrangea to gently and elegantly transition into a sewing needle, with a delicate strand of thread looping or trailing from the eye.

I have a website concept that still sits at idea stage and I need a complete UI and UX crafted from the ground up. The goal is to take the rough sitemap and brand notes I will share and turn them into a polished, user-centred web interface. You will guide the entire design cycle: discovery, low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups and an interactive prototype that shows key user flows on both desktop and mobile breakpoints.

I would like the work wrapped up within a month, so an organised approach with clear milestones is essential. Figma is my preferred workspace because it lets us iterate quickly and comment in real time, but I am open to Sketch or Adobe XD if you can export everything cleanly for my developers.
