I already have the ​xArm 7-DoF robot with gripper, an Intel RealSense depth camera, XarmStudio, plus help with a mobile 2020-extrusion frame with wheels and battery. Now I need the software layer that turns all this hardware into a truly useful household helper.

Here is what I expect the finished solution to do: work entirely offline, see common household items, electronic devices and charging cables through the RealSense camera , decide where each object belongs, pick it up with the gripper, and place it accurately. A special case is the Tesla charge port: the arm must recognise the connector, align, and insert the cable reliably.

Everything should be controlled from an iOS app that lets me trigger tasks, view live camera and depth data, adjust way-points and read battery status; Wi-Fi or local Bluetooth is fine as long as the system never depends on a cloud connection. Under the hood I imagine ROS 2, MoveIt, OpenCV, TensorFlow/YOLO or any combination you are comfortable with, as long as it runs on the on-board computer and communicates with XarmStudio.

Deliverables I need from you:
• Vision and grasp-planning module that recognises the three object classes above and outputs pick/place poses.
• Motion-planning bridge that converts those poses into xArm scripts callable directly from XarmStudio.
• Native iOS app (Swift/SwiftUI) with local networking to start jobs, display status and allow manual overrides.
• Clear build instructions and offline installers so I can re-flash or update the system without external servers.
• A short video or live demo proving the robot locates a household item, stores it, and connects the Tesla cable.

If you have prior experience with RealSense, ROS, or similar robotic pick-and-place projects, please let me know; sample clips or repos are a plus.

We’re looking for a professional videographer to capture high-resolution video and photos of our autonomous robot CivMini operating at a client site in Charlotte, NC. The footage will be used for marketing, website, and conference materials, so quality and attention to detail are essential.

About the project:
Civ Robotics (www.civrobotics.com) develops autonomous layout robots for construction. The CivMini robot performs precise road-marking and layout tasks using advanced GNSS technology. Our client is currently testing the robot, and we need to film it within the next few days while it’s active on-site.

What we need:

High-resolution video footage (suitable for HD/4K marketing use).

Photos from multiple angles showing the robot in action.

Capture the robot spraying and marking roads during operation.

Footage of the robot from various perspectives (close-up, wide, overhead if possible).

Include shots of an operator walking near or interacting with the robot.

Ensure good lighting (avoid direct sun glare) and clear sound.

Approximately one-two hour on-site for filming.

Deliverables:

1–2 minutes of high-quality edited footage (plus raw files).

10–15 high-resolution photos highlighting the robot and its activity.

Timing:
This project is urgent – the client is testing the robot now, so filming must be completed within the next couple of days.

I’m integrating a T6 AC Servo motor into a Python workflow over Modbus so that its motion follows real-time hand positions detected with MediaPipe. The Modbus link is live, but whenever I issue motion commands the drive flashes Error 100 most consistently (occasionally 180 or 102). Until that fault is eliminated the rest of the pipeline is stuck.

I need someone who already knows this drive family and the quirks of Modbus register maps. Your task is to pinpoint why the servo refuses the command—whether it’s a parameter, register offset, timing, checksum, or anything else—and then deliver a clean sample script that drives a simple move without triggering faults. I should be able to feed XYZ targets coming from MediaPipe and watch the motor track smoothly.

Deliverables
• Diagnosis of the root cause behind Error 100 (plus why 180 / 102 sometimes appear)
• Corrected Modbus command sequence or register settings, shared as a clear Python example (pymodbus, minimal dependencies)

I have a working Gazebo (gz-sim) world with a realistic underwater AUV (tethys_equipped) that moves and reads a magnetometer.

The baseline magnetic field is ~49,000 nT (Earth), and there are three static cubes (mag_source_1–3) that represent magnetic anomalies.

I need help adding magnetic-field variation + avoidance behavior based on sensor readings.

What’s Needed:

1. Magnetic anomaly generation

Read AUV + cube poses from /world/waterworld/dynamic_pose/info.

Compute simple dipole anomalies (ΔB ∝ 1/r³).

Publish a new topic /tethys/mag_with_anomaly (type gz.msgs.Magnetometer) with B_total = B_earth + ΣΔB_i.

Tune constants so |B| peaks around 90 k nT near each cube.

2. Avoidance logic

If |B| ≥ 80 k nT (or equivalent in Hz), perform a smooth avoidance arc, then resume the original mission heading.
Navigate between 3 waypoints, repeating this detect → avoid → resume pattern.

3. Sensor adapter (Hz ↔ nT)
Our real magnetometer measures in Hz, not nT.

Add a small adapter:

f = a + b·|B| (convert nT → Hz)
Configurable mode: "nT" or "Hz".
Log both |B| (nT) and f (Hz).
