Are you a people-person with a knack for real estate and a talent for closing deals? We're a dynamic property management company based in New York looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Remote Leasing Agent to help us keep our residential and mixed-use portfolio full of happy, long-term tenants — all from the comfort of your home.
This isn't a sit-back-and-wait role — you'll be the voice and face (virtually!) of our leasing operations, guiding prospective tenants from their very first inquiry all the way through move-in, while also playing a key part in protecting our properties through proper legal follow-up when needed.
What You'll Do:
Own the full leasing cycle remotely — from fielding inquiries to scheduling virtual or in-person viewings coordinated with our on-site team
Build rapport with prospective tenants over phone, email, and text, and turn interest into signed leases
Guide new tenants through a smooth, professional onboarding experience
Maintain accurate, up-to-date leasing records in our property management software (AppFolio)
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries during US business hours
Initiate and follow up on legal proceedings (such as non-payment or holdover matters) in coordination with our management and legal teams, ensuring deadlines and documentation are handled accurately
What We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for real estate and property management
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple leases/units at once
Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
Comfortable working US Eastern Time hours (or significant overlap)
Prior experience with leasing, tenant relations, AppFolio, or legal/eviction proceedings is a big plus
Someone proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently
Why You'll Love Working With Us:
Be part of a growing, established team managing a diverse portfolio across NYC
Opportunity to develop expertise across US leasing, tenant relations, and property law
If you're ready to bring energy, professionalism, and follow-through to a role where no two days look the same, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now!
Project scope:
This engagement covers two related but distinct tasks:
Reinstatement of a lapsed US utility patent — maintenance fee was missed; reinstatement under unintentional/intentional delay procedures needs to be assessed and filed with USPTO.
Filing New Zealand-origin patents in the United States — bringing granted/pending NZ patent family assets into the US system (national phase entry via PCT and/or Paris Convention priority filing, as applicable per case).
Required qualifications — non-negotiable:
Active USPTO registration (Patent Attorney, not Patent Agent) — registration number must be provided and will be independently verified against the USPTO's public Registered Patent Attorney/Agent roster before any engagement begins
Active state bar admission in good standing — bar number and jurisdiction must be provided and will be independently verified against the relevant state bar's public attorney directory
Applications without both numbers stated up front will not be considered
Experience wanted:
Direct, verifiable experience with patent reinstatement petitions (37 CFR 1.137)
Direct, verifiable experience with PCT national phase entry and/or Paris Convention priority filings, ideally involving New Zealand or other foreign-origin patent families
Payment structure:
Hourly rate (please state your rate clearly in your proposal)
Separate fixed-fee quotes requested for: (a) the lapsed patent reinstatement, and (b) each NZ-origin US filing
To apply, please include in your proposal:
Full legal name
USPTO registration number
State bar number + jurisdiction
Brief description of 1-2 comparable matters you've handled (reinstatement and/or foreign-priority filing)
Your hourly rate and a rough quote range for the two scopes above
Proposals without verifiable credentials stated directly in the response will be declined without further review.

I am close to signing a perpetual licence for a piece of university-developed technology and have reached the final-revision stage of the contract. I need a lawyer who lives and breathes licensing agreements to go through the document, focusing above all on the intellectual-property-rights language to be sure my ability to exploit the technology is fully protected, unencumbered, and enforceable worldwide.
You will:
• Analyse the current draft, flagging any gaps or one-sided provisions that could limit or dilute my perpetual rights.
• Propose clear, commercially practical redlines and alternative clauses.
• Supply a short written brief that explains every recommended change in plain English so I can take an informed position with the university’s tech-transfer office.
I will provide the existing agreement and all term sheets immediately on project start; quick turnaround is appreciated so we can keep momentum with the university team.
Experience with technology-transfer deals and patent-heavy licences is strongly preferred, but above all I need someone who can defend my interests quickly and persuasively during this last round of negotiations.
I am seeking an experienced attorney to assist with filing a trademark application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trademark law and be able to guide me through the application process efficiently. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. If you have experience in intellectual property law and can provide expert advice, I would love to hear from you.
I need a complete title search on a residential property located in the United States, with the specific aim of verifying current ownership. The search must trace the chain of title all the way back to a clear deed and document every recorded transfer, lien release, and assignment that affects the present Deed of Trust.
Your final deliverable should include:
• A clean, well-structured title report in PDF detailing the ownership chain, any breaks you resolved, and an executive summary of findings.
• Copies or official links to all supporting instruments (grant deeds, deeds of trust, assignments, substitutions of trustee, releases, reconveyances, etc.).
• A concise note confirming whether the Deed of Trust you locate matches the borrower and lender information I will provide once the project begins.
Please rely on primary sources—county recorder, clerk, or registrar databases—rather than third-party aggregators, and confirm recording book/page or instrument numbers for every item you cite. If anything is missing or clouded, flag it clearly so I can decide the next step.
Turnaround within three business days would be ideal, but let me know if you need a bit more time once you assess the county’s accessibility.

We expect to file additional trademarks over the coming years as we expand our portfolio. We are looking to establish a long-term relationship with a knowledgeable attorney who can advise us on trademark protection in the United States and internationally.
We value expertise, responsiveness, attention to detail, and sound legal judgment above simply finding the lowest-priced proposal.
We are seeking a skilled freelancer to assist with the application and completion of word trademark applications for four names. This is a part-time project with a short duration, expected to be completed in less than a month.

We are seeking a patent lawyer to assist our startup with unfiled or expired patents. The ideal candidate will have experience in intellectual property law and be able to handle legal documents and filings. I am about to fund three connected commercial loans—two first-lien notes on separate flex properties (together $1.1 M) and a $500 K unsecured promissory note backed by personal and corporate guarantees, an interest-reserve account, and key-man life insurance. Borrower’s counsel, Bright Law, will draft the documents and run the closings; what I need now is an independent, lender-side legal review focused on risk.
Your primary brief
• Pinpoint any lender-side risks hidden in the loan agreements, guarantees, extension clauses, and closing packages.
• Make sure the first-position liens are perfectly structured and recorded.
• Verify all title commitments and insurance binders for both properties line up with the deal terms and leave no coverage gaps.
Preferred work product
A marked-up set of PDFs (or redlines) plus a concise memo that flags issues, suggests language tweaks, and ranks each point by severity, delivered in time for me to respond to Bright Law before closing.
I will supply the draft loan agreements, title commitments, ALTA policies, insurance certificates, guarantee forms, and the proposed closing checklist the moment they arrive from borrower’s counsel. If you notice anything that could threaten lien priority, repayment prospects, or my remedies, call it out clearly.
Experience with commercial real-estate finance in North Carolina is ideal, but an attorney licensed in any U.S. jurisdiction who routinely handles multi-million-dollar secured lending packages will be considered.

I have previously submitted seven USA patent applications and not require assistance with drafting. I require submission-only at this stage by a registered practitioner and am seeking a fixed price for all five submissions.
Ideal Skills and Experience:

- Experience with utility patent submissions
- Familiarity with patent office requirements and procedures

The complaint is already on file and the matter is sitting on the court’s docket; I now need counsel to assist with drafting documents and strategic planning. The original firm hired by my title-insurance carrier abruptly withdrew, so the next lawyer must be ready to substitute in without delay and push the action forward.
Key points of the dispute
• Substantive focus: equity, property rights and contract law
• Relief sought: contract enforcement, financial compensation, an ordered easement and any attendant damages
• Posture: I am the plaintiff and all filing fees to date are paid, I can represent myself in court I just need some direction and assistance drafting the presentments.
Immediate priorities
1. 2 hr strategic call to develop action and submit direction to the court.
2. Review the existing pleadings, exhibits and title documents supplied by the insurer’s lawyers.

Successful delivery will include a concise litigation plan with deadlines, and confirmation that all prior materials have been integrated into case file. If you have experience in equity/property matters and can move quickly, I am ready to engage you right away.
