I had to do a lot of project management myself on the Zoom calls, which was difficult due to the accents. They did a fairly good job communicating by email, but there was a 12-hour delay between most emails due to the time zone difference.
On the other hand, their price is more than fair, and their developers must be talented or they wouldn't have been able to complete this job. It was a from-scratch integration between our highly customized, out-of-date, open-source website and our new fulfillment software. There are no manuals for the out of date site or even for the open source platform, so they had to figure things out as they went along.
So working with them was stressful, but if you're up for that, it could save you a lot of money. The proposal we received from a US-based agency for the same job was about twice as high.

I sent him two web pages as psd files and one, the most complicated, as a draft in Adobe XD. The prototypes the freelancer sent me the day before the deadline didn't follow the designs in the psd or xd files and actually had less functionality than the XD prototype draft I had sent him.
When I complained, the freelancer claimed that there was a misunderstanding about what I wanted. That's quite possible, because I suspect he outsourced the job to someone from India, and if he was only the middleman, that could easily lead to miscommunication. (The only evidence I have that he outsourced the job is that he asked me to give access to the XD prototype to an email with an Indian name, so I don't know this for sure.)
When I complained that he hadn't done the job I asked, he responded promptly and worked through the weekend to redo his work and have the prototypes done in time for our usability testing appointment on Monday. So I'm grateful for that. He initially was going to charge me for the revisions, but when I said an Upwork representative agreed that I shouldn't have to pay for revisions, he backed down. I was willing to pay for some of the revisions, because if he had done the job right in the first place it probably would have taken more hours than he charged me for. But in the end he didn't charge me for any of the revisions.
So it wasn't a good experience overall, but at least he made things right in the end.
I want an original, hand-painted artwork that captures the simple beauty of a bird perched on a tree. This is an art project, and the finished piece must be a traditional painting rather than a digital print or sculpture.

Great experience. I just needed it sooner and the 13 hour time difference was a tiny issue. .
-Style: Watercolor or digital cartoon styles are preferred but not mandatory

-NO AI or clip art illustrations
Here are the current project details as I understand them:
-Approximately 15 lines with a 2-page spreads each line. (30 illustrations)
-2 additional characters (possibly 3 total)
Characters include 2 more children, with the body of a teacher appearing as a background character
-Clean line art, delivered as separate files

I’m commissioning a traditional illustration of a CF-18 Howard Douglas fighter jet. Everything must be created by hand—no tablets, vectors, or post-production touch-ups.
The drawing has to fit a standard A4 sheet (8.3 × 11.7 inches) and be rendered in black and white. I’m looking for a highly detailed, technically accurate piece with intricate shading that captures panel lines, rivets, cockpit reflections, and realistic lighting.
Feel free to work in graphite, charcoal, ink wash, or any purely traditional medium that gives a rich tonal range and crisp edges.
Deliverables
• One original A4 black-and-white artwork, hand-drawn
• High-resolution scan (600 dpi or better) provided before shipping
• Short note listing paper weight and drawing tools usede
