I have an existing 2D animation (video) and I want to create the next phase, as a continuation in the exact same style. This new video will be used as an invitation.
I will provide the original Adobe After Effects project file and Adobe Illustrator file, and you will build on top of the existing assets and animation setup. I do not want any AI generated artwork, AI generated frames, generative fill, or AI style transfers used in this project. Everything must be consistent with the original.
Reference style (from my existing video)
- Vertical format, approx 720 x 1072, 30 fps
- Soft watercolor background look with illustrated scenery (sunflower field vibe)
- 2D vector characters with clean outlines and simple shading
- Smooth, gentle motion (character walk/approach, kneel, ring moment)
- A simple monogram/logo appears near the top in the existing piece
Goal
Create a new animated segment (or a full combined video) that continues from the proposal into the wedding/marriage phase and ends as an e-invite with key details (names, date, venue).

Contractor updated it, but I had missed print deadline at that point, and they updated it so that the final ticket was significantly smaller than the 2"x5" size that was asked for (I ended up with tickets that were 1.88"x4", losing quite a bit of our potential space, and they were cramped in the end, so I don't understand why). Ultimately I'm sure his team is capable of delivering good work, but in this case I paid for work that was unusable to us, mostly because it failed to actually follow the design parameters from the outset. The design work itself was fine, so your results may be better than mine, or if you have more time to do back-and-forth I'm sure you can stress the specs to get the sizing you need – in my case this was a strict deadline project. Rather than invest more time and money we don't have, we opted to just go with a different designer who could deliver a usable product in a short timeframe.

My name is Muaz Altabbaa, and I am an author who has been writing books for children for the past few years.
I have self-published a children’s book titled Travel with Lina, co-authored with my wife. The book was published in two bilingual editions: Arabic–English and Spanish–English. I have also self-published a parenting book titled Humanity’s God. For Travel with Lina, the illustrations were created by an illustrator my wife knew in Latin America.
I have recently completed a new children’s story aimed at ages 9 and up, written as a Hybrid Illustrated Novel. The title has not yet been finalized, but I would like to briefly share the concept with you.
The story follows a deer living peacefully in a forest alongside other animals. Their harmony is disrupted when a greedy nation of foxes invades, followed later by an invasion of monkeys. In response, the forest animals organize resistance movements. The story ends on a hopeful note when a brave lion king rises to lead the animals, defeat the invaders, and restore peace—showing how beautiful life can be once oppression is removed. While the story is fictional, it reflects a real-life struggle that began over 100 years ago and continues today, with hope for a similar happy ending.
The book blends tragedy and comedy, with a stronger emphasis on humor. I tested the story with my children, ages 7 and 9, and they laughed a great deal at the visual descriptions—even before any illustrations were created. Structurally, the book alternates between prose accompanied by a single illustration to move the timeline forward, and comic-style sequences to depict action and add a comedic touch.
