Hi there, I am looking for an experienced children’s book illustrator for a book about having a new baby.

The final artwork that will be needed is approximately:
Full wrap cover illustration: 1
Full spread illustrations: 3
Full page illustrations: 4
Spot illustrations: 14
The page size of the book is 7x10 inches.
All typesetting/design will be done by my art director, so I am just looking for art. My art director has instructions prepared about sizing and content for each illustration, some photos will be provided to give guidance about the looks of the main characters in the book.I would like to start by hiring an illustrator to do two sample illustrations and after that, hire for the entire project.

I am looking for art in a style like the attached graphic (make sure to attach photo): watercolor, contemporary, light, simple—maybe even slightly abstract. Could have some ink with the watercolor or just watercolor.

All images must belong to me at the end of the project and (of course) not be stolen or created using copyrighted images.

If you are applying for this project, I would like to know what you would charge for (1) the first two sample images (assuming we will go through a few stages, like drafts, then final art) and (2) all of the artwork needed for the book. I would also like to know how long you estimate that a project like this will take you, what resolution you will provide the final files in (should be at least 300dpi at final size, but preferably even higher), which method you use for image creation (which software or tools, etc.) and why you are a good fit for this project.
