We're a Los Angeles production consultancy working with an activewear and swim brand. We have a completed photoshoot covering four styles, but each style was only photographed in one colorway. We need the remaining colorways created from the existing images.
The work
Roughly 12 builds from a set of 15 source images (2400–4300px). Each build means recoloring specific panels of a garment to an exact specified hex value — body panels, mesh insets, zipper tape, and contrast flatlock stitching. Printed fabric is never recolored; only the solid panels and stitching change.
You'll receive a written spec that states, panel by panel, exactly what changes and what hex to change it to. No guesswork or interpretation required — but flagging anything ambiguous is expected and welcome.
Method we require
Panel selection, feathered edge, then a Solid Color fill layer set to Color blend mode. This preserves the fabric weave, shadow and fold detail underneath.
We do not want generative fill or any AI fill. It destroys fabric texture and won't hold an exact color match. Applications that propose it won't be considered.
One harder element
A single garment has a printed underlayer that needs to read as a solid. That's a print-to-solid conversion — covering the pattern and rebuilding the fabric texture, then shading to match existing folds. Please quote this separately.
