We’re looking for a Procreate artist to create illustrations with our brush sets and record the drawing process.

We provide the visual concepts, references, and brushes, so you can focus on bringing the artwork to life. We’re looking for someone we can work with regularly and grow with over time.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
• Flexible, fully remote work — choose your own hours and deliver in agreed batches.
• Around one hour a day on average to start — suitable alongside other projects or studies.

THE CREATIVE WORK
For each assignment, we provide a nearly finished visual concept with the subject, composition, color palette, and overall direction already established, along with the Procreate brushes to use.

Your role is to recreate the reference with the agreed level of visual impact, texture, color, and finish. Thoughtful creative suggestions are welcome where they improve the result.

You’ll work with different Procreate brush sets, so illustration styles, techniques, and complexity will vary between assignments.

We’ll share sample concepts and links to artwork and drawing-process references with shortlisted applicants. These will help us agree on the visual quality, recording approach, workload, and pricing before starting.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re particularly interested in artists who can adapt to different illustration styles and make good use of expressive brushwork. Your portfolio matters more to us than a particular job title or number of years of experience.

You should be comfortable working with supplied brushes, following a clear visual direction, and keeping your Procreate files organized and editable. Additional brushes, imported assets, or significant modifications to our brushes should be agreed upon beforehand.

RECORDING THE DRAWING PROCESS
The recording is just as important as the finished illustration. We’ll use the footage in promotional content showcasing our brushes, so it needs to clearly capture how the artwork develops and how the tools are used.

We’ll agree on practical recording guidelines before you start, including canvas positioning, zooming and rotation, visibility of brush names, and keeping notifications and unrelated activity off-screen.

FOR EACH ILLUSTRATION, YOU’LL DELIVER
• A finished, high-resolution PNG.
• An editable .procreate file with organized layers.
• A full, real-time iPad screen recording, including all drawing sessions.
• The full-length Procreate timelapse.
• A short list of the brushes used, with their names clearly visible when selected in the recording.

OPTIONAL: FILMING THE DRAWING PROCESS
If you can also film selected artworks with a camera positioned above and slightly to the side of the iPad, showing both the screen and your hand drawing, that would be a big plus. We’re looking for clear, well-lit footage with stable framing and minimal glare.

Camera filming is optional and paid extra. We’ll agree on the requirements and additional fee beforehand. You’re welcome to apply even if you can only provide screen recordings.

WORKLOAD & PAY
Our starting target is approximately 30 illustrations with process recordings per month, with an initial budget of around US$300.

The illustrations will vary in complexity: a simple piece might take 15–20 minutes, while a more detailed one could take around two hours. We’ll agree on a balanced mix, aiming for an overall workload of roughly one hour per day on average, including recording, exports, and delivery.

The budget and volume are starting points, not fixed terms. Rates, complexity, deadlines, and workload will be discussed individually based on your skills, portfolio, working speed, and availability. More demanding pieces will be priced separately or accounted for in the batch price.

We’ll use the paid test to establish realistic expectations together. You can work whenever suits you — what matters is delivering the agreed work within the agreed deadlines.

CLEAR DIRECTION & FOCUSED FEEDBACK
We agree on the visual direction before drawing begins to keep creative guesswork and revisions to a minimum. Any necessary adaptations should be discussed in advance.

One round of minor revisions within the agreed brief is included. Significant changes to an approved concept or scope are discussed separately.

LONG-TERM COLLABORATION & GROWTH
We’re looking for a lasting creative partnership with someone who can become familiar with our brushes and visual approach.

As the project grows, we plan to offer more work, introduce more advanced assignments, and increase compensation accordingly. We’ll review rates and workload regularly by mutual agreement, with any increase in responsibilities discussed in advance.

Little Kids Big Hearts is a children's podcast that has been essentially audio-only. We're moving to a video version for YouTube and want simple animation that sparks kids' imaginations. The goal is for the visuals to support listening, not replace it.

What we need
We need four reusable animated sequences that our video editor can drop each episode's footage into. You build the system once. After that, small per-episode adjustments may be needed.
1. Opening frame (host + kid guests)
-The host and guest appear as real video, recorded on Zoom.
-An animated background or frame surrounds them and adds energy behind them.
-Please create a visual vocabulary or template that the editor can adapt to different intro lengths and guest video quality.
2. Journey to the magical land (transition, about 1–2 minutes)
-Each episode, the listeners travel to a magical land. This works like a short guided meditation, or like a show's opening credits sequence.
-The journey rises into the air, passes over an ocean and through clouds, and touches down in the land. In the magical Land of Qook-a-lackas, where they arrive, things aren’t as they are on earth. There are sparkles, qook-a-mallows grow on trees, trees might be pink and the sky might be purple…
-The base animation stays the same every episode. A "vehicle" layer is superimposed on top and changes per episode, such as a magical bicycle or a flying leaf.
-We'd like a version of the return trip back to Earth as well. This can reuse or reverse the journey.
-Optional: a second variation, such as walking through a door or closing your eyes, so we can alternate.
3. Magical land frame (kids + guest section)
-Kids join from home on Zoom, usually wearing headphones. Their videos appear in "bubbles" floating in the magical land, as if they've arrived from another planet.
-A magical creature, voiced by an off-screen actor, is never seen. We need a way to show the creature's presence without showing it, such as an empty bubble, a shimmer, or motion in the landscape. We're open to your ideas.
-Keep the animation gently alive. Kids should be imagining, not staring at the videos.
4. End credits
A short animated credits sequence that matches the style.
Visual style
-The look should feel drawn by a person, not slick or cartoony.
-References: Yellow Submarine (hand-drawn and psychedelic, minus the characters) and The Magic School Bus.
-In the magical land, nothing has its "normal" colors. Trees aren't green and brown, everything is a little different, and the creatures are never seen.
-We have existing hand-drawn artwork from the show's creator, plus multicolored icons, that can serve as a starting point.
Deliverables
-Four sequences in 1920×1080 (16:9).
-Editable, layered project files plus easy-to-use templates or overlays, such as After Effects projects, MOGRTs, or alpha-channel video files. A non-animator editor should be able to assemble episodes with them.
-2–3 swappable vehicle overlays for the journey sequence to start.
-A short handoff note for the editor explaining how to use each piece.
How to bid
Please quote two prices:
One-time fee to design and build all four sequences, including style development and two rounds of revisions.
Optional per-episode or per-hour rate for custom elements, such as a new journey vehicle or adjusting a frame to an episode's footage.
Our goal is to keep per-episode costs low since the podcast is produced by a small nonprofit organization. A shared base animation with small swaps is strongly preferred over animating each episode from scratch.

1. Swimsuit
The existing front and back artwork needs to align accurately across both sewn side seams. I have Contrado's cutting templates and high-resolution original files. The front design is approved and must remain unchanged.

2. Opera-length gloves
I have existing artwork that needs to be prepared across four separate panels (left palm, left outside, right palm, right outside). The artwork must connect cleanly across seams, with smooth curves, consistent line thickness, and sharp print quality.

For both products, I need correctly sized, high-resolution, production-ready PNGs, along with visual proofs of the seam alignment.

I have already developed the book concept, page layouts, historical direction, character designs, equipment references, and detailed AI-generated concept art. I am now looking for a skilled human illustrator to recreate the final published artwork in a distinctive, cohesive illustrated style.

This posting is for a **paid $250 test project covering ONE warrior: either the Spartan Warrior or Mamluk Cavalry**. I will provide detailed visual references and creative direction.

### Deliverables

For the selected warrior, I need:
