I'm looking for a graphic designer to help refine a custom proposal keepsake.
My fiancé proposed to me earlier this year, and I'd like to surprise him by proposing back with a "Will You Marry Me Too?" proposal during a concert weekend in Philadelphia this September.
I've created an AI concept of an Amtrak-style train ticket based on our actual trip from Baltimore to Philadelphia. I'm looking for someone to polish the design by improving the typography, spacing, layout, and overall print quality so it's ready for premium printing.
I'll provide the AI concept, please let me know if this is something that you’re available to do.
Gold foil or metallic gold accents for the proposal question and key details

Creative Brief: "Not So Famous Mugs on Mugs" Portrait Series
1. Project Overview & Brand Vision
The objective is to commission a series of high-quality, single-colour portrait illustrations for a premium, collectible line of camp mugs. The brand celebrates "unsung heroes"—remarkable historical figures who quietly changed the world but never received mainstream fame. The brand aesthetic bridges a rugged, outdoor Australian campfire vibe with intellectual, curiosity-driven conversation.
2. Deliverables Required
For Volume 1, the artist will deliver four (4) distinct portrait illustrations based on a provided list of historical figures. Each figure requires:
The Portrait: The main historical character illustration.
The Nameplate: The individual's name hand-lettered by the artist. Crucial: The name must be delivered as a separate, isolated layer so it can be omitted or repositioned depending on the medium.
3. Visual & Aesthetic Guidelines
Style: High-texture pencil/graphite sketch style. The artwork must feel authentically hand-drawn, intimate, and human—avoid perfectly smooth digital vector lines.
Composition: Focus primarily on a detailed headshot/portrait. Where appropriate and contextually relevant, a subtle "tool of the trade" or symbolic item can be woven into the background, but the human face remains the focal point.
Framing & Framing Edges: No circular, square, or arched frames or borders. No soft vignette or gradient fade-outs at the edges. The drawing should have clean, definitive line-work boundaries where the sketch naturally terminates.
Colour Palette: Monochrome (Single Colour). All final files must be delivered in a single, classic vintage/navy blue tone.
4. Technical Specifications & Asset Versatility
Because these illustrations will anchor the entire brand, they must function seamlessly across diverse digital and physical touchpoints.
Format: Delivered as layered, high-resolution source files (PSD, Procreate, or high-res vector AI/EPS) with a completely transparent background.
Asset Breakdown: * Layer 1: The Portrait Artwork.
Layer 2: Background elements/items (if applicable).
Layer 3: Hand-lettered Name.
Cross-Platform Requirements:
The Product: Must scale perfectly onto a standard tin/enamel camp mug face. Line weights must be bold enough to withstand a high-heat printing process on textured metal surfaces without turning into "mud" or losing fine detail.
Packaging: Crisp enough for monochrome printing directly onto cardboard kraft boxes.
Digital & Social Media: Layers must be easily isolated so assets can be handed over to an animator for motion graphics (e.g., text fading in separately from the portrait) on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
4.1 Physical Sizing & Legibility Constraints (Added Specification)
Target Product: Standard 350ml metal/enamel camp mug (Approximate dimensions: 80mm height × 80mm diameter).
Maximum Print Area Dimensions: The safe print area for the portrait side is a maximum of 65mm Width × 65mm Height.
Legibility & Fine Detail Constraint: Because the physical print size is constrained to a 65mm square on a curved surface, the artist must ensure the portrait remains highly legible and visually impactful at a small scale.
Avoid overly dense cross-hatching or hyper-fine lines that risk blurring or turning into solid blocks of ink during the high-heat wrap printing process.
The illustration must rely on clean, deliberate line weights that retain clarity when viewed from an arm's length while drinking.
4.2Back Copy Typography & Layout Constraints (Added Specification)
Font Size Standard: The text layout on the reverse side of the mug must be set at a minimum of 10pt font size to ensure clear legibility from an arm's length while holding the mug.
Font Style & Selection: Because the high-heat firing process can cause minor surface distortions on enamelware, decorative or overly complex fonts must be avoided. The typography must use:
A clean, geometric sans-serif (e.g., Helvetica, Futura, or similar clean digital fonts).
Or a highly legible, crisp slab-serif that provides sharp contrast against the hand-drawn pencil line-work of the portrait on the opposite side.
High-Contrast Testing: All text layouts must be tested with high-contrast alignment during the digital mockup stage before being approved for physical production manufacturing.

I’m commissioning a single, high-impact illustration to serve as the permanent cover for an upcoming podcast and episodic YouTube series devoted to exploration, adventure, and the strange and unexplained.
Here’s the creative direction: you’ll paint our two human hosts—reference photos supplied—in a moody, colorful, semi-realistic style that nods faintly to retro mystery art (like classic Nancy Drew covers). Their stance and facial expressions should read confident and determined. Behind them I want a dense forest that feels deep and atmospheric, layered with soft, cinematic lighting. Hidden among the trees, work in subtle shadows or silhouettes of mysterious creatures to hint at the paranormal theme without stealing focus.
The final piece must be 100 % hand-drawn by you, the human artist—no AI, filters, or generated assets. I need exclusive worldwide rights and request full discretion until the show launches, so an NDA will be part of the agreement.
Deliverables:
• High-resolution artwork (minimum 4000×4000 px, RGB) suitable for podcast apps and YouTube thumbnails
• A layered PSD or Procreate file so we can adapt the composition for future banners and merch
If this brief sparks your imagination, please reach out, and include a link to your art portfolio / examples.

Children's Book Illustrator Needed – Human-Drawn Recreation (Absolutely No Generative AI)
I am looking for an illustrator to recreate a simple illustrated background shown in a reference image that I will provide.
Please read this posting carefully before applying.
This background is for the replacement print cover of my already published children's book. The book is already published and in circulation, so I am not looking for a completely new design. I am looking for a close recreation of the existing background so that it continues to fit seamlessly with the rest of the published artwork.
The original background was something I created in Canva by carefully layering and overlapping different graphic elements. At the time, I simply selected the seashells and small stones that were available in Canva's library. Because Canva does not identify whether individual elements are entirely human-created, AI-assisted or AI-generated, I would rather have the entire background redrawn by a human illustrator.
My illustrator, who created the beautiful illustrations for the interior of the book, is currently on vacation and unfortunately will not be back this week. I need this background recreated this week, which is why I am looking for someone who can assist with this one illustration.
Absolutely No Generative AI
This project must be completed entirely by a human artist.
Please do not use any generative AI tools at any stage of this project. This includes using generative AI to:
• create artwork
• assist in creating artwork
• edit artwork
• enhance artwork
• refine artwork
• modify artwork
• recolour artwork
• upscale artwork
• or make changes to the finished illustration in any way
The completed illustration must not be put through any generative AI system before delivery.
The Illustration
The goal is to produce a background that closely resembles the reference image while remaining clean and professionally illustrated.
Please:
• recreate the overall composition as closely as practical
• use crisp, clean colours
• do not add shadows or gradients
• use a solid colour for the sky
• use a solid colour for the sand
• leave the foreground clear, as my existing characters will be placed there
The seashells and small stones do not need to match the reference exactly. You are welcome to draw your own versions. I only used the Canva elements because they happened to be available at the time, so I am perfectly happy for those items to be illustrated differently provided they suit the overall style and composition.
Colour Selection
Good colour selection is important.
Artwork that looks beautiful on a computer monitor can sometimes print differently. I am looking for someone with a good eye for colour who understands how artwork reproduces in print. I prefer clean, bright colours with good contrast.
Artwork Size
• 9 inches wide
• 12 inches high
• Suitable for professional printing
Deliverables
Please provide:
Required
• High-resolution PNG
Also Required
• The original editable working file from the software you used (for example Adobe Illustrator, PSD, SVG, Affinity, Designer, Procreate or similar) so that future edits can be made if required.
Once hired, the completed files should be delivered through the Upwork messaging platform, and a copy is to be sent to my email address as a backup.
You are to also provide a signed certificate of authenticity and ownership (your own created and signed certificate to indicate this is an original creation, made by human hands, without the use of generative AI, that ownership of the image belongs to me (I will share my full name), and that you do not retain any ownership rights or claims to the artwork).
Timeline
This is a relatively simple illustration for a talented illustrator. Once selected, I believe a 24-hour turnaround is a more than reasonable expectation.
Professional Communication
I value respectful, professional communication and expect us both to maintain Upwork's Code of Ethics throughout the project.
Please Include the Following in Your Proposal
Please answer the following in your own words:
1. What do you think I am asking you to create?
2. Is there any aspect of this project that you think will be challenging for you?
3. If what you created did not match the brief and you definitely yourself realised it afterwards when it is pointed out, what would you do? Would you make the necessary edits?
I personally read every proposal. Applications that are generic or that do not respond to the questions above are unlikely to be considered. I appreciate applications that are straight to the point, honest and include examples of work done that would be the closest thing to what is being asked for. I have had quite a number of applicants on past projects. Help me filter out those who do not read this brief. How? By starting off the first ten words as Anguilla is a country in the Caribbean and the West Indies. Do not use Hi or good day, let those be the first ten, exactly as is. Usually only a quarter of applicants include this.
Thank you for taking the time to read my posting. I look forward to hearing from you.
Client's questions:
In your own words, what is being asked for? Keep it short
How fluent are you in English?
If what you created did not match the brief and you definitely yourself realised it afterwards when it is pointed out, what would you do? Would you make the necessary edits?
Please list any certifications related to this project

I’m commissioning a single, full-colour illustration that captures a deliberately “cheesy” gothic-romance moment between a woman and a werewolf. Think classic paperback cover energy, but rendered with realistic detail.
Mood & Setting
The piece should feel dark and eerie rather than outright horrific—moody moonlight filtering through a twisted, haunted forest, mist curling at ground level, faint hints of old gravestones or gnarled trees framing the couple. The wolf-man looms protectively (or perhaps menacingly) over the heroine, soft dramatic lighting highlighting their faces and the tension between danger and desire.
Key Visual Notes
• Realistic anatomy and textures (fur, fabric, skin).
• Over-the-top romantic poses are welcome; a touch of camp is part of the fun.
• Palette: deep blues, desaturated greens, a splash of crimson for contrast.
• Background: haunted forest is mandatory; no castles or urban elements.
Deliverables
• 1 high-resolution illustration (minimum 4000 px on the longest side, 300 dpi, RGB).
• Layered PSD or Procreate file so I can adjust text placement later.
• Flattened PNG for quick preview.
Acceptance Criteria
The final artwork must clearly show both characters, convey that dark-yet-romantic atmosphere, and read well at both poster size and thumbnail. I’ll provide prompt feedback on rough composition and final colour pass; two revision rounds should be plenty.
If this vibe sparks your creativity, let me know your timeline and any clarifying questions—looking forward to seeing your take on this gothic romance!

OVERVIEW
We're a small, design-led brand looking for a talented illustrator to create a set of three original collage illustrations for a physical product line. This is our first project with a new artist, and if it goes well, there's strong potential for ongoing, regular work.
THE WORK
Three illustrated collage compositions that read as a cohesive set: a shared visual language, palette, and mood, with each having its own distinct artwork and composition. Each collage should be built entirely from original illustrated elements, and ideally those individual elements should also stand well on their own so they can be reused elsewhere.
THE FEELING WE'RE GOING FOR
Overall tone:
- Romantic and dreamy
- Classic and vintage
- Bookish
- Whimsical, but grounded
- Sophisticated, not overly playful or cartoonish
Themes to draw from:
- Night sky and stars
- Gardens, roses, botanicals
- Books, reading, writing
- Gentle fantasy elements
- A romantic atmosphere throughout
YOU'D BE A STRONG FIT IF YOU:
Can thoughtfully combine:
- Digital illustration: sketch, watercolor, oil-painting, or textured styles
- Vintage or hand-drawn sketch elements
- Layered collage composition (paying attention to balance, spacing, and layering)
- Pattern and decorative details
- Typography or calligraphic touches (vintage book-page elements, for example)
Are comfortable delivering print-ready files (CMYK, with bleed and crop marks) as well as layered source files
Create 100% original work (no stock elements and no AI-generated components)
Are open to a full copyright assignment of the commissioned work (we can share the specifics)
DELIVERABLES
Artwork: 3 final designs, each adapted to 3 sizes (9 files in total)
To be clear about scope: this is three designs, not nine. Sizes 1 and 2 differ by only a sixteenth of an inch, so that adaptation is essentially a trim. Size 3 is a little more involved, and there's a note on it below.
Sizing:
Size 1: 4.375 in W x 6.25 in L
Size 2: 4.3125 in W x 6.25 in L
Size 3: 3.75 in W x 5.625 in L
There is a circular ring element that will be centered on all three and it does not scale with the size: always about 2.125 inches across at the outer edge, with a 1.75 inches open center.
That detail is what makes Size 3 more than a simple resize. Since the ring stays the same size while the design gets smaller, it takes up proportionally more room on Size 3. Anything you compose to sit neatly beside the ring on Size 1 may end up partly beneath it once scaled down. Just something to keep in mind early on in the design process!
Files:
- Print-ready PDF for each design and size: CMYK, 300 DPI minimum, with bleed and crop marks.
- High-resolution raster files (PNG or TIFF) at 600 DPI at final size, for our own listings and marketing.
- Editable, layered source files (Illustrator or Procreate preferred). Vector elements are a lovely bonus where they suit your process, since they scale infinitely. That said, please prioritize whatever way of working gets the right feel.
TO APPLY
We'd love to see examples of your work that show these skills:
- Vintage or hand-drawn illustration
- Digital painting / illustration (watercolor, oil-painting, or textured styles)
- Layered collage composition
- Working with pattern and decorative details
- Typography or calligraphic touches
You don't need to have done a project like this before, we're mainly looking to see that you have these skills in your toolkit. As a bonus, if you have anything that already lives in a romantic, dreamy, vintage, bookish sort of world, we'd love to see it, but that's not required.
A quick note on your rate for a set of three original illustrations with full copyright transfer would be helpful too.
We're excited to find the right person and hopefully build a lasting working relationship!

I’m looking for a talented Children’s Book Illustrator and Book Designer to create engaging, high-quality illustrations and professionally prepare my children’s book for publication on Amazon KDP.
The ideal freelancer should have experience designing children’s books with colourful, age-appropriate illustrations and be familiar with Amazon KDP publishing requirements.
Scope of Work
* Create custom illustrations for the children’s story
* Design an attractive front and back cover
* Format the book for paperback and Kindle (if required)
* Apply child-friendly typography and page layouts
* Ensure illustrations are high resolution and print-ready
* Set up proper trim size, margins, bleed, and page layout
* Deliver Amazon KDP-compliant PDF and EPUB/KPF files
* Review the final files for quality and formatting accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience illustrating children’s books
* Strong portfolio of children’s book projects
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, Canva, or similar tools
* Knowledge of Amazon KDP publishing requirements
* Excellent communication and attention to detail
I have a complete set of manuscripts for a series of picture books aimed at children aged 3–7 and I’m ready to turn them into polished Kindle releases. All text is finalized; what I now need is a creative partner who can take each story from script to storefront.
The work breaks down into two connected parts.
1. Digital illustrations
Every page needs bright, engaging art that speaks to early readers. I’m open to your visual suggestions—vector, painterly, cel-shaded—so long as the files export cleanly to the resolutions Kindle Direct Publishing expects. Consistency across the series is important, so a unified colour palette and recurring character designs will be part of the brief.
2. Kindle production workflow
I need full, end-to-end support inside the Kindle Kids’ Book Creator / KDP platform: page layout, text-image syncing, fixed-layout EPUB or KPF generation, metadata entry, and final preview testing on Fire tablets and the Kindle app. If you know the current KDP image-compression quirks or have workarounds for bleed and trim on print-on-demand editions, that’s a bonus.
Deliverables
• Original layered illustration files (PSD/AI or Procreate)
• Optimised PNG/JPEG sets ready for KDP (300 dpi, RGB)
• Fully formatted Kindle package for each title (.kpf or fixed-layout EPUB)
• Guidelines for any future volumes so I can keep the style consistent
When we’re done, I want to be able to click “Publish” with confidence that the books look perfect on every Kindle screen. If this is in your wheelhouse, let’s talk timelines and milestones—there are multiple books waiting.

I have a mascot named **Recco** — a green red-panda character for a strength-training app. The character already exists and the design direction is
settled. What I need is for a professional illustrator to rebuild him properly
as vector artwork with a style guide, so he stays consistent forever.
The current art was AI-generated. It looks good at a glance, but the details drift between poses — ear color, muzzle shape, body proportions, and the cream tone all shift slightly from image to image. I need one definitive version of this character that every future pose is built from.
This is a redraw, not a redesign. The creative direction is done. I'm not
asking you to invent a mascot — I'm asking you to take a character that exists
and rebuild it correctly.
Brand colors (exact)
Primary green (fur) - `#28A578`
Deep green (shadow / dark accent) - `#10221C`
Cream (muzzle, belly, ear insides, tail tip) - `#F3F0E7` |
Gold (accents — use sparingly) - `#C9A227`
Gold is a scarce hero accent in our brand — please use it minimally, if at all
(e.g. a medal or a small prop), never as fur color.
You may introduce tints and shades of these for shading, but please define them
explicitly in the style guide so they're reusable.
DELIVERABLES
1. Character turnaround
- Front, 3/4 view, side profile
- Consistent proportions across all three (with a proportion/height guide)
2. Expression + pose sheet — 6 poses
1. Idle / standing — neutral, friendly, arms relaxed (the default state)
2. Waving — greeting, welcoming
3. Celebrating — arms up, big happy expression (used when a user hits a personal record)
4. Flexing — showing off a bicep, playful and proud
5. Thinking — hand near chin, curious/considering
6. Sleeping / resting — eyes closed, calm (rest-day state)
3. Style guide (1–2 pages)
- Exact color values used, including every shading tint
- Line weight rules
- Proportion/construction guide
- Head and face construction (eye spacing, muzzle placement, ear shape/angle)
- A short do / don't page showing common mistakes
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
These matter more than anything else in this post, because I'm going to animate this character later.
- Vector only. Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Figma. No raster, no Procreate, no flattened PSD.
- Fully layered and named. Each part must be its own separate, editable group: left ear, right ear, head, muzzle, left eye, right eye, eyebrows, mouth, torso, left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg, tail. Layers named in plain English.
- Body parts drawn whole. Please draw complete shapes and use clipping/masks rather than cutting pieces away — e.g. an arm should be a full arm shape even where the torso overlaps it, so it can be moved and rotated later.
- No merged or flattened paths, no expanded strokes on the character body, no raster effects or embedded images.
- Consistent anchor structure across the turnaround so poses can be interpolated.
Why this matters: this character will be animated in Lottie (via lottie-react-native) for a mobile app. A layered vector build makes that straightforward. A flattened illustration means the animator has to rebuild the character from scratch, and it stops looking like my mascot. If you've prepped artwork for Lottie or After Effects rigging before, please say so — it's a strong plus.
FILE FORMATS TO DELIVER
- Source file (.ai or Figma link with edit access)
- .svg export of each pose
- .png export of each pose at 2000px tall, transparent background
- Style guide as .pdf
PREFERRED: CAN YOU ALSO ANIMATE?
Strong preference for someone who can also do the Lottie animation as a follow-on project. If that's you, please mention it and give me a rough ballpark for animating 4–5 short loops (idle, celebrate, wave, thinking) — 1–3 seconds each, seamless loops, exported as optimized Lottie JSON.
I'd rather work with one person across both phases. If you only illustrate, that's still fine — just build the layers properly so an animator can pick it up.
OWNERSHIP
Full commercial rights and copyright transfer on final payment, including source files. This character will be used in a commercial mobile app, on the App Store and Google Play, and in marketing.
TO APPLY, PLEASE INCLUDE
1. Character work in your portfolio — mascots, game characters, or anime/cartoon-style figures. Character design specifically, not general illustration.
2. Confirmation you work in vector and can deliver properly layered files.
3. Whether you can do Lottie/After Effects animation too.
4. Your timeline and flat quote for the package above.
5. Optional but appreciated: one sentence on what you'd change or clean up about the reference art. It tells me you actually looked at it.
Please don't send generic copy-paste proposals — I read every one, and a short specific reply beats a long template.
PROCESS
1. Rough sketch of the front pose for approval before you go to final
2. One round of revisions at the sketch stage
3. Final vector build of the turnaround + all 6 poses
4. Up to two rounds of revisions on finals
5. Style guide delivered with the final files
Happy to be responsive throughout — I'll answer questions quickly and give clear feedback.
I need a clean, contemporary hand-drawn logo that combines my restaurant’s name with a stylised sardine illustration. The overall feel should be creative and modern—no vintage filters or cartoon excess—yet still show the warmth and imperfections of a pencil or ink sketch.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Hand-sketched concept developed into fully editable vector files (AI or SVG)
• High-resolution PNG/JPG in colour and a single-colour version for stamps and menus
• Balanced composition: text and sardine icon should read clearly at both storefront and social-media sizes
Once we begin, I’ll provide the exact restaurant name, preferred typeface suggestions and colour palette. Procreate, Illustrator or any tool that keeps the drawing’s organic texture intact is fine as long as the final files remain scalable.
Acceptance criteria: crisp line work, legible name placement, and a sardine that feels fresh, not clip-arty. If you can attach a quick pencil rough or link to similar work in your proposal, it will help me choose quickly.

Illustrator and Designer for a Medical Study Guide, Remote Contract
About the work
We create study materials for healthcare students and professionals. We need an illustrator and designer to help build a colorful, fun, and easy to read study guide. This is a remote contract role paid per page or per project. Strong work can lead to more guides down the road.
We want original illustrations and cartoons, not stock art. If you have seen how Simple Nursing and Nurse in the Making use bright colors and friendly characters to explain hard topics, that is the style we are after.
What you will do
Draw custom illustrations, cartoons, and characters that explain medical concepts. Design clean, colorful pages that are easy to read. Turn our content into finished pages, and build simple diagrams that help information stick.
What we need from you
A portfolio showing your own illustration and character work. Solid layout and design skills. Comfort with tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, or Procreate. Someone who takes feedback well and keeps a consistent style. A plus if you have designed for medical, science, or education before.
To apply
Send your portfolio, a couple of examples where you made complex content simple and visual, your rate per page or per project, and your usual turnaround time.

hi, I have a jiu jitsu academy, I would like to design a book for the kids (3 to 5 years old), the book should be fun and exciting, and also teach the kids the importance of training jiu jitsu martial arts and all the benefits you get from training.
I want to build a cohesive set of digital portraits that look and feel as if they were lifted straight from a grainy 90s movie reel. The key is strict facial consistency: every single frame must preserve the exact identity of the reference image—no distortion, no drifting features—while you freely explore new poses, camera angles, lighting setups, and backgrounds.
Visual language
• Moody lighting, high contrast, and unmistakable 90s retro film vibes are non-negotiable.
• The overall mood I’m chasing is nostalgic rather than overtly dramatic or mysterious.
What I need delivered
1. A series of high-resolution (4K+) stylized portraits with cinematic colour grading.
2. Matching anime/graphic-novel variants that keep the same face and framing.
3. Vintage film stills with authentic grain, light leaks, and subtle colour shifts reminiscent of old Kodak stock.
Workflow notes
Feel free to leverage AI tools such as Stable Diffusion + ControlNet, Midjourney, Photoshop Generative Fill, or your preferred pipeline, as long as they guarantee 100 % identity preservation. I’ll supply the reference headshot as soon as we start; you’ll return low-res proofs first, we lock the look together, then you render the finals and share layered PSD/Procreate files plus flattened PNG/JPEG exports.
Acceptance criteria
• Face matches reference across every variant.
• Each deliverable category includes at least five unique images.
• Final files are clean, free of artefacts, and ready for print or social use.
If you’re confident you can keep that face rock-solid while dialing up the nostalgic mood, I’m ready to get started.

I’m developing a new story set squarely in the Aliens universe and I need a visual partner who can translate my words into striking imagery. The job begins with loose concept sketches of characters in my story and moves through to polished, publication-ready illustrations that will sit alongside the final manuscript. If published, you will get your name out there.
The tone is pure sci-fi: cold metal, corporate secrecy, evolutionary terror. I already have a roster of named characters and key moments mapped out; once you’re on board I’ll share detailed scene briefs so you can start visual exploration straight away. A solid familiarity with the franchise, military, covert ops language, Weyland-Yutani aesthetics, and the overall lore is essential because accuracy matters to the readership we’re aiming for. Digital tools such as Photoshop, Procreate, or Clip Studio are fine as long as you can deliver layered, high-resolution files ready for print and e-book use.
Deliverables (exact count negotiable)
• Employee ID type photos, portraits, and a full body shot for each principal character (10 characters in total). I also want to create a 'company ID' which will show some of their personal information and an ID image of the character.
• Several images of two different spacecraft. I will provide examples to be modified to my specifications.
• Source files + flattened print-ready versions in TIFF or PNG
Acceptance Criteria - completed to my satisfaction, vision of each character. Visual continuity with established Aliens canon and my written briefs. It is to aid in visualisation of the characters I have created predominantly.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented digital portrait/caricature artist to create 13 original, hand-drawn digital illustrations of children inspired by the iconic vintage artwork from the Michael Jackson Moonwalker movie poster.
This is NOT an AI art project. We are seeking an artist with genuine illustration skills who creates artwork manually using professional digital illustration software. AI-generated artwork, AI-assisted artwork, tracing, or image manipulation will not be accepted.
Artistic Style
The artwork should capture the nostalgic, hand-painted illustrated feel of the classic Michael Jackson Moonwalker movie poster while remaining completely original. The reference poster will be provided solely as a style guide.
We are looking for artwork that reflects:
Vibrant vintage illustration aesthetics
Dynamic poses and expressive character designs
Rich colors and polished rendering
A fun, energetic, and collectible poster-quality appearance
The final illustrations should be stylistically inspired by the reference—not copied, traced, or reproduced.
Project Scope
The selected artist will create 13 individual digital portraits/caricatures, each featuring a different child.
For each illustration, we will provide:
Multiple reference photos of the child's face
The assigned Michael Jackson-inspired outfit
The assigned pose
Additional reference images as needed
The artist will be responsible for creating a polished illustration that accurately captures each child's likeness while maintaining the requested artistic style.
Deliverables
Each illustration must be delivered as:
One high-resolution digital image (minimum 300 DPI)
Individual print-ready file
Editable source file (PSD, AI, Procreate, Clip Studio, or similar, if applicable)
Transparent background version (if possible)
Any fonts or custom assets used (if applicable)
Each portrait should be delivered as its own separate file.
Copyright & Ownership
Upon final payment:
All artwork must be 100% original.
No AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork may be used.
No stock artwork, tracing, or copyrighted material may be incorporated.
Full commercial rights and ownership of the completed artwork will transfer to the client.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an artist who:
Has professional experience creating digital portraits, caricatures, or character illustrations
Can successfully emulate an existing illustration style while producing completely original artwork
Has excellent attention to detail
Communicates well throughout the project
Meets agreed-upon deadlines
Takes pride in producing high-quality work
To Apply
Please include the following with your proposal:
A link to your portfolio.
Your strongest examples of hand-drawn digital portraits or caricatures.
Examples demonstrating your ability to adapt to a specific artistic style.
A brief description of your creative process and the software you use.
Confirmation that your artwork is created entirely by hand and does not utilize AI-generated imagery or AI-assisted illustration tools.
Your estimated timeline for completing all 13 illustrations.
Applicants who do not include portfolio samples or who submit AI-generated artwork will not be considered.
We are excited to collaborate with a talented illustrator who can bring this vision to life with creativity, craftsmanship, and originality. If your work demonstrates exceptional artistic ability and you enjoy creating expressive, memorable character illustrations, we'd love to hear from you.

-Archivo editable (PSD, AI, o Procreate).
-Derechos de uso comercial (transferencia de copyright).
-Presupuesto: Abierto a negociar según experiencia y propuesta (orientativo 20-100€).
Cómo postular:
-Portfolio con personajes infantiles (imprescindible).
-Breve propuesta de estilo para Trapotín.
-Tarifa por el proyecto.
