Project Overview

I am in the early stages of launching a fine jewelry brand and am looking for an experienced jewelry designer or illustrator to help develop one core design concept into a small initial collection.

I currently have moodboards and a few Procreate sketches that capture the overall direction. I’m seeking a designer who can help refine this concept and translate it into clear, cohesive jewelry designs that can later be used for CAD development, prototyping, and manufacturing.

This project is intentionally focused and collaborative, with an emphasis on quality, proportion, and design clarity rather than volume.

Scope of Work

The selected designer will work with me to:

- Refine one core design concept and expand it into a small, cohesive jewelry collection
- Translate moodboards and rough sketches into refined jewelry designs
- Create hand-drawn digital illustrations and/or 3D designs (CAD experience is a plus, but illustration-only designers with strong jewelry experience are welcome)
- Provide multiple views per piece as needed (front/top, side, perspective, detail close-ups)

Clearly communicate key design elements such as:
- Metal structure and proportions
- Stone placement and setting style (bezel, prong, pavé, etc.)
- Engraving, surface texture, or symbolic details

Deliverables

Depending on the designer’s strengths, deliverables may include:
- Initial black-and-white or line sketches for concept alignment
- Refined shaded renderings to show form, depth, and structure
- Color renderings indicating metal tones and gemstone colors
- Final high-resolution files suitable for review and handoff to CAD/manufacturing
(PNG, PDF, or similar formats)

I’ve finished drafting a light-hearted manuscript for adult readers and now need about one hundred simple, cartoonish drawings to bring each scene to life. The tone is playful yet pared-back, so I’m picturing a modern minimalist style—clean lines, expressive characters, and plenty of white space. The first item on my list is a finish-line scene: tape, barriers, timing clock—everything that gives the moment real race-day energy. Please build it on separate, clearly named layers so I can move or hide elements without fuss.

Alongside that, I’d like a small library of runner figures in various strides and angles, rendered in the same realistic, vivid style. Clean silhouettes, good muscle definition and natural motion are key; I’ll be re-using these figures across multiple compositions, so keep limbs, outfits and skin tones on individual groups where possible.
