I meticulously delivered on those specific tasks as promised.
However, it has come to my attention that Dylan, in his pursuit of creating a Google Sheets business, has incorporated another creator's intellectual property without proper authorization. It is essential to clarify that our agreed-upon scope of work solely encompassed changes in wording, design elements, font styles, font sizes, and color palettes—nothing beyond that. Regrettably, the original creator has taken issue with Dylan's unauthorized use of their work and has now involved him in copyright disputes.
I find it deeply unfair that as a result of circumstances completely beyond my control, Dylan has chosen to vent his frustration by leaving a negative review and demanding a refund. I fulfilled my responsibility by delivering precisely what we had agreed upon based on his limited budget. The negative consequences arising from copyright issues were unforeseeable and not within the scope of my obligations.
In light of these events, I strongly advise against engaging in professional dealings with this client in the future. His ungrateful demeanor and the unjust review he has left can potentially harm the reputations of other freelancers. It is disheartening to see my efforts and commitment to professionalism undermined by circumstances that were beyond my purview.

We are ReadyCloud, a shipping, returns and growth marketing suite built for enterprise. At a time of rapid growth, we’re looking for someone quite obsessed with uptime to join our team as a Reliability Engineer.
Our business deals with the world of e-commerce and shipping. We have a latency and reliability critical API at the heart of it; the kind where when it's down that's a real and present problem for our customers. It's our mission to ensure that never happens. We're handling a constant stream of end-customers placing orders, returns being made, webhooks that need to fire to our partners, and interactions with all kinds of carrier APIs (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.). You'll help keep it all running, both through proactive measures and live fire incident response where you get things back on track, in a cool-headed manner.
This role is both operations and communications. If an error rate inches up or an external API starts acting strange, you’d be the first to spot it, and often the one to squash it. When it's bad and you can't get on top of it, your job will be to bring in the right colleagues to resolve it. Once the dust settles, you make sure we don’t repeat past mistakes: post-mortems, new health monitors, better scaling and reactiveness to our telemetry, whatever makes us more resilient. If you never see the inside of an incidence response room again, you've done your job right! (Metaphorically speaking, our incident rooms are virtual.)
Our engineering organization is fairly flat. We're a collaborative team smart people are building something great. As a result, in this role you’ll have real responsibility, again whether in reactive or preemptive work.
Primary duties:
• Keep an eye on production infrastructure: latency, uptime and performance anomalies, using tools like Sentry, Graylog, system agent stats in GCP and so on.
• Own and improve our alerting: log analysis patterns, thresholds, dashboards and notifications for real problems...
• while preventing false positives and noise. Nobody wants to be woken up for a non-event.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and be the first responder to any incidents that start working hours in your timezone (which we'll have ~zero of if we get our way, with your help.)
• Escalate incidents to the right coworkers internally, or externally to partners (FedEx, Google, Cloudflare and so on), and, when necessary, notify impacted stakeholders (particularly enterprise customers).
• When things are calm, write and maintain runbooks ("if X then do Y" checklists) that make incident response boring and predictable (in a good way).
• Take part in post‑incident reviews, helping identify root causes and practical preventative fixes.
What you bring:
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and running production systems in the cloud.
• Experience with Cloudflare or similar systems for performance and security monitoring.
• Practical knowledge of the maintenance and operation of Kubernets, virtual machines, databases, load balancers and so forth. We don't expect you to be able to write our software, nor to know every single component in our stack, but we do need you to know or quickly pick up how to run them and recover from typical failure modes.
• Clear, calm communication (especially when things are very much not calm).
Bonus points for:
• You can script your way out of trouble (Bash, Python, etc.) and aren’t afraid to build or improve basic automation and diagnostic tools.
• You’ve communicated with enterprise clients during outages without making anything worse.
• Extra bonus if you actually made things better.

We have a dedicated Linux (Ubuntu) server with a dedicated public IP address on it. This server also has a public subdomain hostname configured on it.
We would like to setup a SMTP MTA server. This server will only be used as a dedicated outbound email relaying server.
This server will be sending for multiple domains.
The authentication should be based on IP address or username & password.
We would like to setup a file for all allowed IP addresses. All email from these IP addresses will be allowed to relay outbound email.
Also, we would like to setup a file with usernames and passwords for authentication. Once the user is authenticated, they will be allowed to relay outbound email.
I also want you to setup and configure Fail2Ban so that if someone tries to login more than 3 times with incorrect username/password, IP address gets banned for 1 week.
You also need to setup a SSL certificate using Lets Encrypt. We have a wildcard certificate on the master domain of the hostname. I will give you all this information. I also want you to configure the Lets Encrypt certificate update so that the certificate updates automatically at the end of the 3 month term.
I am open to using MailEnable, KumoMTA or Haraka as the SMTP MTA software.
We will NOT give you SSH access to our server. You will need to login to my computer via TeamViewer or AnyDesk and work from there. We take data security seriously and hence we do not give out any authentication details. If you cannot work via this method, please don't quote on this project.

I have an existing VPS running a live website (FindMyHorse) and I am in the process of setting up Mailcow, a Docker-based mail server so I can easily create custom domain emeails, on the same server. A previous developer began the setup but had to stop before completion due to time constraints. As a result, the work was left mid-migration, meaning the system is unfinished rather than fundamentally broken.
Mailcow was being deployed using Docker and Docker Compose, with deployment attempted via a GitLab CI pipeline, which is currently failing. During this process, the original Nginx web server was removed and replaced with Traefik to act as a reverse proxy for both Mailcow and the existing website. However, the Mailcow stack does not currently deploy successfully. Some debugging work had started, but the configuration was not completed.
At present, the Mailcow Docker stack fails to deploy, likely due to configuration, networking, or port conflicts following the Nginx to Traefik migration. The Traefik and Mailcow configurations need to be correctly aligned, and the GitLab pipeline may either need fixing or bypassing in favour of a manual deployment. Both the website and mail services need to coexist cleanly behind Traefik, and email DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) have not yet been finalised.
I am looking for a DevOps-experienced freelancer to debug and fix the Mailcow deployment, complete the Nginx to Traefik migration, ensure Traefik correctly routes both the website and Mailcow services, bring Mailcow fully online and operational, and assist with setting up the correct DNS records for reliable email delivery. This is an existing setup that needs completing rather than a fresh installation from scratch.
The current tech stack includes a Linux VPS, Docker and Docker Compose, Mailcow, Traefik as a reverse proxy, and an optional GitLab CI pipeline (manual deployment is acceptable). There is also an existing live website running on the same server.
There is strong potential for ongoing and future work, as my current developer is moving into a full-time role and will no longer be available long term.
