Since our platform is currently in a low-traffic phase, we are taking the time this weekend to do a 100% clean rebuild and migration to ensure the absolute integrity of our user and provider databases.

The Task:
We need an experienced DevSecOps / Cloud Engineer to perform a completely clean migration to a newly provisioned DigitalOcean Droplet. The project starts this weekend and must be fully completed and tested by Monday morning.

Scope of Work:

Provision and harden a new DigitalOcean Droplet.

I have been working with Hermes Agent for a few months now, and right after I installed Hermes Agent Desktop version, the entire agent infrastructure I had built, along with the historical sessions, simply disappeared. And this, of course, is after I configured the local gateway on the correct local port.

Other issues I'm encountering: every time I restart Hermes Desktop, all previous sessions are deleted, it takes longer to get results even though I am using the most powerful model, cron jobs have disappeared or are not running, etc.

About Us

We are an Australian-based technology company managing multiple VPS and dedicated server environments for our own projects and client deployments. Our infrastructure is primarily based on Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS, with a small number of legacy systems currently being migrated.

We already have two experienced systems administrators located in different time zones and are seeking a third sysadmin to provide additional coverage during Australian business hours and to assist with ongoing server administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and client support.

Required Availability

You must be available to provide coverage during:

3:00 AM – 10:00 AM Australian Eastern Time (AEST/AEDT)
