We create new products on a continuous basis, and every one of them needs a full set of visuals. The Role

We're looking for a freelance designer to own our social media statics on an ongoing basis. The baseline workload is a minimum of eight statics per month, delivered in batches of roughly two per week. Formats are tweet-style text posts and multi-slide carousels.

That's the floor, not the ceiling. Based on your capacity, there's additional project work across the company: brochure design, email graphics, and other brand assets. The volume grows with the relationship.

You'll work directly with our creative director, who will provide concepts and ideas for each static. That said, we strongly prefer someone who can take a video, pull the strongest idea out of it, and pitch a static or carousel concept from that alone.

You'll also own our video thumbnail strategy: thumbnails for Instagram (4:5) across our backlog of videos, plus new thumbnails for videos published three times per week.

You'll be paid weekly, per graphic delivered (or per carousel set). Each graphic gets 3 sets of revisions, though that's not often needed.

How The Project Works

This is not an hourly position.

Projects will typically be assigned quarterly.

We will schedule a Zoom meeting where I will provide:

* Brand direction
* Examples of designs and brands I like
* Campaign objectives
* Design requirements

You will then create all graphics needed for the upcoming campaign period.

This is intended to become an ongoing relationship for the right designer.

Paid Test Task

What you’ll own (end-to-end)
Each month, you will:

Research what’s working on Instagram (and optionally LinkedIn) and bring strong carousel ideas

Write the carousel structure (hook, slide flow, CTA)

Design and build the carousel in Canva and deliver final exports that are ready to post

Manage the workflow in Notion (planning, drafts, review, feedback, and final delivery)

You’re not just “designing slides.” You’re owning this part of the content.

Tools (non-negotiable)
Notion (hard requirement): you must be comfortable running a content pipeline inside Notion (statuses, templates, comments, clean handoffs).

Canva (hard requirement): you must be able to design carousels, create reusable templates, and export correctly (If you also use Figma/Adobe, thats okay, we are open to those tools)

Your carousels should be:
1. Clean, modern, and easy to read on mobile
Built with strong typography, spacing, hierarchy, and pacing
2. Based on formats that actually perform (hooks, retention, save/share triggers)
3. Delivered consistently and on time
Requirements
4. Proven graphic design ability (portfolio required)
5. Strong understanding of social content performance (especially carousels)
6. Can take feedback and iterate fast without needing step-by-step direction
7. Highly organized and reliable (this role depends on consistency)

Deliverables
1. Weekly carousel output (ideas → drafts → finals)
2. A library of reusable Canva templates (covers, internal slides, CTAs)
3. Final exports + organized handoff in Notion (and optionally caption suggestions)

I'm looking for a thumbnail designer for an OFTV travel documentary series called 'My Liverpool'. This is the first episode of a series called 'Unscripted'.

The brief:

I'll be sending you three files —
1. A photo of me (shirtless, plain background, high resolution)
2. A Liverpool skyline image
3. An example thumbnail from OFTV showing the style of the platform

What I need:
A single thumbnail that combines all three elements seamlessly — not a photo with text dropped on top, but a fully composed, designed image where everything feels like it belongs together.

Style direction:
— Masculine, clean, premium. Think BBC or Channel 4 documentary title card.
— Bold typography, one consistent font treatment throughout. No mixed styles, no coloured boxes around text, no drop shadows.
— The text should read: MY LIVERPOOL
— My photo should be cut out cleanly and integrated naturally into the composition — no AI enhancement or processing of the photo. Use it exactly as shot.
— The overall feel should reflect the subject: a 43-year-old actor and presenter making a serious, personal documentary about his city. Not a vlog. Not a fitness influencer thumbnail. Confident and considered.

We need someone to help us with graphics for a new golf brand @sorelagolf

I am working on designing a logo and social media branding for a university student-focused recycling program.

The umbrella organization and logo are established, along with the name of the initiative. We will need to work within these constraints to build a logo and story that capture the attention of, on the one hand, campus administrators who could become institutional members, and on the other hand, students, who would be participants in their institutional chapter.

I have done some brainstorming on keywords and iconography, and would like to work in collaboration with a designer to finalize a few logo options to present to the umbrella organization.

I would like to have a serious conversation about the use of Artificial Intelligence for this logo design with any designer who bids on this project.
