This role is for someone who owns the creative output, not someone I have to art-direct frame by frame.

* You take raw input (video, audio, written, photo) and turn it into finished, on-brand media. I should not have to redesign your work.
* You get my brand. After a short ramp, you know my colors, my fonts, my energy, and the difference between something that feels like me and something that feels like a stock template.
* Real editing, not AI shortcuts. When you pull clips from a podcast, you find the moments by watching and listening, then you cut them by hand. I am not looking for auto-generated clip-farm output. More on this below, read carefully.
* You bring taste. I will hand you a rough idea and trust you to make it sharp. If you only move pixels when told exactly where, this is not your seat.

**The Role (What You'll Own)**
You own the visual and video output of the brand. Every carousel, every short, every banner, every course edit. I hand off the raw material and the direction. You hand back finished media that is ready to post, ready to upload, ready to ship.

* Keep every asset consistent with my brand look so the feed feels like one voice, not ten

*Podcast Clip Extraction (done right, by hand)*
* Watch and listen to full podcast video episodes, find the strongest moments, and cut them into shorts and clips
* No AI auto-clipping tools doing the selection for you. The judgment of what makes a great clip is the job, and that comes from a human who gets the brand
* Caption, frame, and polish each clip so it is ready to post

*Course & Long-Form Video*
* Edit course lesson videos: clean cuts, intros and outros, lower thirds, on-screen text, basic color and audio cleanup
* Assemble longer pieces from raw footage when needed

*Design & Ongoing Media*
* Canva designs for whatever the week calls for: lead magnets, slides, one-pagers, promo graphics
* Higher-end graphic work in Adobe when the project needs it
* The random stuff that always comes up. A thumbnail here, a banner there, a quick edit before something goes live

**The "No AI Slop" Rule (Please Respect This)**
I am not anti-tool. I am anti-shortcut. You can use whatever editing software gets the job done well. What I do not want is podcast clips chosen by an auto-clipper, captions left full of errors because a robot wrote them, or designs that look like a template anyone could pull. The whole point of this hire is the human creative judgment that makes my content feel like mine. If your plan is to run everything through an AI tool and hand me the raw output, we are not a fit.

**Tools You Must Be Comfortable With**
Required proficiency:
* Canva (carousels, banners, social graphics, quick-turn designs)
* Adobe Photoshop (image editing, compositing, cleanup)
* Adobe Illustrator (vector graphics, logos, branded design elements)

The Role

We're looking for a freelance designer to own our social media statics on an ongoing basis. The baseline workload is a minimum of eight statics per month, delivered in batches of roughly two per week. Formats are tweet-style text posts and multi-slide carousels.

That's the floor, not the ceiling. Based on your capacity, there's additional project work across the company: brochure design, email graphics, and other brand assets. The volume grows with the relationship.

You'll work directly with our creative director, who will provide concepts and ideas for each static. That said, we strongly prefer someone who can take a video, pull the strongest idea out of it, and pitch a static or carousel concept from that alone.

You'll also own our video thumbnail strategy: thumbnails for Instagram (4:5) across our backlog of videos, plus new thumbnails for videos published three times per week.
