The inspiration is the Las Vegas Sphere’s iconic emoji character Orbi—a simple, highly expressive “face” that appears on a massive digital display and changes expressions/outfits based on moments, seasons, and events. Key twist: our mascot must be designed for a flat square/rectangular digital screen, not a sphere. It should feel “born on a screen” (clean shapes, bold reads at distance), and be original—not a copy of Orbi. 2) What we’re trying to achieve • Create an instantly recognizable brand character that can live on digital signage, social posts, website/landing pages, and product/UI moments. • Establish a flexible animation system (expressions + simple props) that we can reuse for campaigns (hot days, cool air moments, seasonal messages, product launches). • Convey Vantage Solutions’ personality: cool, modern, reliable, friendly, clever. 3) Reference: what to learn from Orbi (style + behavior) Orbi works because it’s: • Minimal + readable: huge facial features, simple shading, clear silhouette. • Emotion-forward: lots of expressions and “little moments” that feel human (e.g., daily routines, weather/season changes, playful themed looks). • Made for a giant screen: bold timing, slow-enough motion, big shapes. 4) Our mascot concept (what we want you to design) Working name: “Vanji” Shape/format • Character is a flat, screen-based face living inside a square or rectangular frame (like a digital billboard or device display). • The frame can be part of the character (rounded corners, slight bezel) or a graphic container—but it must read well on signage.
