This Is an AI-First Engineering Role This is not a traditional development position where we expect the engineer to manually type every line of code. Webb9 makes extensive use of advanced AI coding tools and development agents. AI may perform a very large percentage of implementation work, including generating code, creating components, implementing features, writing tests, debugging, refactoring, generating documentation, reviewing code, creating database schemas, building APIs and assisting with deployment. Your role is therefore much more important than simply producing code. You will be responsible for directing, supervising, validating and improving the work produced by AI and ensuring that everything ultimately delivered by Webb9 is secure, maintainable, scalable and production-ready. You must know enough about software engineering to recognise when AI-generated code is wrong even when it looks correct. Current situation Our company website is currently offline. The website was previously created, redesigned and continuously updated using Manus AI. We want to preserve the latest design and content, but we do NOT want the future website to depend on Manus. Our goal is to transfer/rebuild the latest version of the Manus-created website in WordPress, so that we have permanent and independent access to the entire website and can edit pages, text, images, blog posts and other content ourselves through WordPress. The final website must therefore be a proper, maintainable WordPress website and must not depend on Manus AI continuing to exist or provide its current services. IMPORTANT: We have a server backup / root directory Before the website went offline, we downloaded the complete root directory from cPanel. We can provide these files to the selected freelancer.
