I am a Nepali human rights lawyer, UN Advisor, and social entrepreneur based in New York, and I am looking for a developer to build my personal website from scratch.

I have an existing HTML file I put together as a content and structure reference. I do not want this replicated. I want something completely new that uses it as a starting point for what sections to include and what content to feature, but brings a genuine design sensibility to it that feels personal, warm, and intentional.

The website has three purposes. First, a consolidated home for my work including published writing, speaking appearances at the UN and internationally, awards, and my projects. Second, a space for people to reach me, whether media, fellow advocates, or organisations looking to collaborate. Third, a resource section for young aspiring lawyers, particularly Nepali and South Asian students building careers in international human rights law.

The feeling I want is possibility, not prestige. Someone from Kathmandu should open it and think she did this and so can I. Warm, feminist, globally authoritative but deeply human. Aesthetically I am drawn to rich, warm tones. Photography that shows me in rooms that matter but also in the work itself.
