B2B Content Editor — LinkedIn & Thought Leadership

|
Native English editor to sharpen B2B thought leadership content (US-based, ongoing)
We're WordCube, a language and localization company working with international enterprises on translation, multilingual content, and AI-assisted localization workflows. Our audience is senior: localization and global content leaders, marketing and communications teams, procurement, and international operations at multinational and technology companies. We produce our own source material. Our team has deep subject-matter knowledge and strong opinions about where the language industry is going — but we have drafts written by non-native speakers, and they don't yet read the way a well-edited piece in a US business publication reads. That's the gap we're hiring for. What you'd be doing You'd take our drafts — long-form articles, LinkedIn posts, newsletter sections — and edit them into publishable English content that a VP of Localization or a Head of Global Marketing would actually stop and read. Concretely, that means: - Editing 1–2 long-form articles per month (roughly 1,200–2,000 words each) from rough draft to publication-ready - Editing 4–6 LinkedIn posts per month, adapted from the same underlying research - Rewriting weak openings, tightening arguments, cutting repetition, and fixing structure — not just proofreading grammar - Removing the "translated-from-Chinese" and "written-by-AI" cadence that shows up in drafts and replacing it with natural US business English - Flagging claims that sound overstated, unsupported, or unclear, so we can verify or reframe them before publishing - Occasionally suggesting a stronger angle when the draft has a good idea buried in the middle, and returning every piece with a short editor's note — what you changed, what you'd flag, and why — so our team gets better at the drafts we hand you We'll give you the background material: our editorial guidelines, industry reference sources, and context on each topic. You won't be researching from scratch, and you won't be inventing content. You're the editor, not the ghostwriter. What we're looking for - Native English speaker, based in the United States (this is a requirement for this role, not a preference) - Several years of professional experience writing or editing B2B content for a business audience — agency, in-house content team, trade publication, or established freelance practice - Demonstrated experience with LinkedIn as a B2B channel: you understand that a good LinkedIn post is structurally different from a blog intro, and you can show us work that performed - Editorial judgment. You can tell the difference between a draft that needs restructuring and one that needs three sentences fixed, and you don't rewrite for the sake of rewriting - Comfortable with restrained, credible, non-promotional writing. We don't want hype, buzzwords, clickbait hooks, or "game-changing" anything - Reliable turnaround and clear communication Nice to have (genuinely a plus, not a filter) - Experience in or around the language services industry — LSPs, translation, localization, TMS platforms, multilingual SEO, international content operations - Familiarity with how AI is actually being used in enterprise content and translation workflows, beyond the headlines - Experience editing content written by non-native English speakers or subject-matter experts How this works - Fixed price per piece. We'll agree a rate per article and per batch of LinkedIn posts before work starts, and we're open to your proposed pricing based on your experience - Ongoing engagement — we're looking for one editor to work with over time, not a one-off project - Steady, predictable volume: roughly 1–2 articles and 4–6 posts a month, with room to grow if it goes well - We'd like to start with one paid trial piece (one article plus two LinkedIn posts) so we can both see how the collaboration works before committing to an ongoing arrangement To apply, please include: 1. Two or three samples of B2B content you wrote or edited — LinkedIn posts and long-form both welcome. If you edited rather than wrote it, say so, and tell us briefly what you changed 2. One or two sentences on what usually goes wrong in expert-written B2B drafts, in your experience 3. Your typical fixed-price range per 1,500-word article and per LinkedIn post Applications that open with a generic cover letter and no samples won't be reviewed. We read every proposal that includes real work.

Georeference Architectural Site Plan
Applied

$250

|
I have an architectural site and building plan prepared by an overseas architect. The drawings are dimensionally correct but sit in an arbitrary local coordinate system with no real-world spatial reference. The original author does not have software capable of assigning a coordinate reference system.
I need the drawings georeferenced so they align correctly with real-world cadastre, aerial imagery and GIS layers. Site: Rural property, Broke NSW 2330, Hunter Valley, Australia Purpose of georeferencing: For a Development Application to Singleton Council, NSW, Australia. 2. FILES I WILL PROVIDE 1. Architectural site plan (DWG / PDF). Dimensionally correct, no coordinate reference system assigned. 2. Cadastral reference (lot and DP number). Contractor to source cadastre from NSW Spatial Services (SIX Maps / Spatial Collaboration Portal), which is free and public. 3. Registered survey plan. Includes boundary corners and any permanent survey marks. This is already overlaid with the master plan. 3. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Establish control using the cadastral boundary and the supplied registered survey plan. 2. Apply a similarity transformation only: translation, rotation and uniform scale. Do not rubber-sheet, stretch, skew or apply non-uniform scaling. All drawing dimensions and geometry must remain unaltered and verifiable against the original. 3. Assign and embed the coordinate reference system so it persists in the delivered files. 4. Produce a short QA report documenting control points used, residuals, and method. 4. COORDINATE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Horizontal datum: GDA2020, MGA Zone 56 (EPSG:7856) - Also deliver in: WGS84 geographic (EPSG:4326) for web and Google Earth use - Vertical datum: AHD (Australian Height Datum), only if levels are present in the source drawing. If the source has no levels, leave the Z axis at zero and say so. - Distance basis: grid distances (MGA). If you recommend ground distances instead, flag it before starting rather than after. - If the end recipient requires GDA94 (some council systems still do), supply that as an additional output. 5. DELIVERABLES 1. Georeferenced DWG (AutoCAD 2018 format or later) with the coordinate system assigned and drawing units set correctly to metres. 2. Georeferenced PDF (GeoPDF) at the original sheet size and scale. 3. KML or KMZ of the building footprint and site boundary for Google Earth. 4. SHP or GeoPackage of the building footprint, site boundary and any hardstand or infrastructure polygons, with attributes. 5. QA report (1 page, PDF) listing: control points used with their coordinates and source, transformation applied, rotation and scale factor values, RMS or residual error per point, and any assumptions. 6. Source project file used to perform the work, so the job can be revisited later. 6. ACCURACY REQUIREMENT Building footprint corners to sit within plus or minus 0.5 m of true position, using the supplied registered survey plan as control. State in the QA report which control points were used and the residual at each. The contractor must state plainly if the source drawing contains internal inconsistencies that prevent the accuracy target from being met, rather than forcing a fit. 7. REQUIRED SKILLS AND SOFTWARE - Demonstrated experience with Australian coordinate systems, specifically GDA2020 MGA and AHD - Licenced access to at least one of: AutoCAD Map 3D, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, Global Mapper, QGIS (QGIS is acceptable and free, but the contractor must be able to produce a correctly formatted DWG) - Experience converting between CAD and GIS formats without geometry loss - Ability to source NSW cadastral data from public Spatial Services feeds - Clear written English 8. SCREENING QUESTIONS FOR APPLICANTS 1. Which software will you use, and can it write coordinate system metadata directly into the DWG? 2. Have you worked with GDA2020 MGA zones and AHD before? Give one example. 3. I will supply a registered survey plan already overlaid with the master plan. Describe how you would use it to establish control, and what accuracy you would expect to achieve. 4. How will you verify that the drawing geometry has not been distorted by the transformation? 5. Confirm you can deliver DWG, GeoPDF, KML and SHP or GeoPackage. 6. This output supports a Development Application to an Australian council. Have you produced georeferenced drawings for a planning or council submission before? 9. COMMERCIAL TERMS Timeline: deliverables within 5 business days of file handover Milestones: single milestone, released on acceptance against the criteria in section 10 Revisions: two rounds included IP and confidentiality: all deliverables, working files and source data are my property. The contractor must not retain, reuse, publish or share the drawings, the site location or any derived data. Property location details are confidential. 10. ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA The job is complete when: - The DWG opens with the correct CRS assigned and the building footprint lands in the correct position over current aerial imagery - The KML overlays correctly in Google Earth against the visible site features - Measured distances between two known points in the georeferenced drawing match the original drawing to within 0.1 per cent - The QA report is supplied and documents control points, residuals and method

|

Shopify Specialist to Set Up French (Belgium) Store Version Using AI

$550

|

|
Cat Elite is an existing Dutch Shopify store selling cat products in the Netherlands and Belgium. We want to add a complete French version for French-speaking customers in Belgium.
This is a focused existing store—not a redesign or migration project. Shopify contains approximately 50 product entries, but many are simple accessories and filters. Only a limited number of core products have extensive custom PDP content. AI translation is fully acceptable. We are not looking for professional manual translation or copywriting. We need a Shopify specialist who can assess the existing setup, implement the French version and ensure all relevant theme and app content works correctly. Scope First assess the storefront to identify all active content requiring localization. Use Shopify Translate & Adapt, built-in app translations or another agreed AI method to translate all visible customer-facing content into French. This includes: * Relevant products and customer-facing metafields * Custom PDP templates and content sections * Collections and standard pages * Menus, header, footer and theme wording * Cart content and relevant SEO fields * Visible customer-facing text in Custom Liquid * Content generated by active Shopify apps Relevant apps currently include Judge.me, Notify Me, Candy Rack, Essential Upsell, EG Auto Add to Cart, Bundles and AddressHero. Please verify the active setup and check whether any other app displays customer-facing content. Technical Liquid, HTML, JavaScript, app code and technical metafields must not be translated or damaged. Customer-facing app content should be localized through each app’s supported multilingual settings. For example, Judge.me’s visible widgets and reviews should be configured in French without translating its technical widget code. Review the AI output for obvious mistakes and test the French storefront on mobile and desktop. Testing should include the main PDPs, reviews, back-in-stock functionality, upsells, bundles, cart and checkout up to payment. Deliverables * Short assessment of active storefront content and apps * Complete AI-based French implementation * Localization of active customer-facing app content * Quick French review for obvious AI errors * Mobile and desktop QA * Correction of missing translations and technical display issues * Short handover listing anything that could not be translated The quote should include the assessment, implementation, app localization and final QA. Please clearly mention any exclusions or possible additional costs in your proposal. Current setup * Shopify OS 2.0 * Be Yours theme * Shopify Markets and Translate & Adapt * Multiple custom product templates * Product metafields and Custom Liquid * Reviews and back-in-stock functionality * Bundles, upsells and cart promotions * Address validation Current website: https://cat-elite.com No redesign is required. The existing Dutch website is the source for the French version. Ideal candidate You have experience with multilingual Shopify stores, Translate & Adapt, Shopify Markets, custom product templates, metafields, Custom Liquid and third-party app localization. Strong technical Shopify experience is more important than professional translation experience. You should understand enough French to identify obvious AI translation mistakes. Please share a relevant example, your fixed-price proposal, expected delivery time and any exclusions. Optional: Please also provide a separate additional price for adding English using the same AI-based workflow. French for Belgium remains the main project scope.

I have an Oromo-language lecture that runs under 30 minutes and I need it transcribed with precise time-stamps throughout. The audio is clear and consists of a single speaker presenting material in a lecture style—no overlapping voices or background chatter.
The final file should: • Follow a consistent time-code format (hh:mm:ss) at regular intervals so I can reference specific moments quickly. • Preserve the speaker’s wording accurately—no need for filler words, but please keep all relevant lecture terminology intact. • Be delivered in either Word or plain-text; if you prefer working in transcription tools such as Express Scribe, oTranscribe, or any equivalent, that’s fine as long as the exported text retains the time codes. I’m available to answer questions about terminology or pronunciation conventions unique to Oromo. Let me know your estimated turnaround and any previous experience you have with Oromo content, and we can get started right away. We are looking for a native Japanese speaker to work with us long-term. Flexible hours — a few hours a week to start. What we need now Writing the Japanese text inside the app. Short strings. #9145: German into English Translation
We have a 1-page Certificate of Conduct (Führungszeugnis) that needs to be translated from German into English. The total word count is probably about 200-250 words. The formatting of your translation doesn’t need to match the source document perfectly. We are striving for about an 85% formatting match. Customer’s notes for the document description, names, and places: - Certificate of Conduct (Führungszeugnis) - Bundesamt für Justiz: Federal Office of Justice Bonn-Duisdorf j Bonn: Bonn-Duisdorf, now called Bonn This is a certified translation, so you will need to use our certificate of accuracy that will be attached to the offer. We should receive one Microsoft Word document back with the certificate filled out on the first page, followed by your translation starting on the second page. The customer has also instructed that the translator's signature should appear on the certificate, and all instances of "we" should be replaced with "I" as per a judge's instructions. Delete the instructions on page two and start your translation there. Please ensure the TranslationPal letterhead remains on every page of your translation. The name of the Word file you send back to us should be the same as the one we send to you. The offer is $10, and we need it back ASAP within 1 hour from the time you received the file.

I need several pieces of English content rendered accurately into both Spanish and French. The material is broad—my notes list it simply as “Translate and Language / Translate and English”—so assume a mix of general documents, light web copy, and short marketing snippets.
Your deliverable is two clean, publication-ready versions of each source item: one in Spanish, one in French. Please preserve tone and nuance, avoid literal word-for-word conversions, and return the files in the original format (mostly Word and occasional PDF). A quick turnaround and careful proofreading are essential; I will run random QA checks against native speakers before sign-off. Hi
I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because I’m looking for someone with a very particular combination of skills: a native English speaker with a strong background in philosophy, ideally continental philosophy and Heidegger, who also has substantial experience as a book editor/copyeditor. I have written a book called BUSINESS BEING: An Ontology of Business. The original manuscript was written in Spanish, and I now have an English version that I would like an experienced human reader to evaluate. The challenge is much more complex than simply proofreading the English. The book is inspired by Martin Heidegger, particularly Being and Time, but it is not intended to be a philosophical book about Heidegger or an academic interpretation of his work. Rather, I use some Heideggerian concepts as a philosophical foundation and adapt them into an original framework for understanding businesses, brands, and organizations. The most difficult problem is actually the word “ser” in Spanish. In Spanish, ser is both the infinitive form of the verb “to be” and can also function as a noun referring to Being/a being. More importantly for my book, the verb ser is conjugated in the present tense as “es”, meaning “is.” This distinction is fundamental to the way I introduce the concept of Business Being. At the beginning of the book, I deliberately distinguish between: * “ser” as a noun * “ser” as a verb * “es” as the conjugated form of the verb “ser” I then use this distinction to establish a conceptual question: I am not simply asking what a business is, but trying to ask about how a business “is” in the world — its mode of being, its way of existing and manifesting itself. The problem is that this works much more naturally in Spanish than it does in English. English obviously has being, to be, and is, but the relationship between these words does not allow me to reproduce the exact conceptual and rhetorical construction that exists between ser and es in Spanish. This is where I need someone with both linguistic sensitivity and philosophical understanding. I do not want a literal translation that sounds unnatural in English. But I also do not want an editor to simply replace my terminology with conventional English philosophical terminology if doing so changes the conceptual structure I am intentionally developing. There is another important point regarding Heidegger. I am not claiming that Heidegger said that “Being should be understood as a verb” in the way my book presents it, nor am I claiming that Heidegger developed a theory of business. My book takes inspiration from Heidegger and then develops its own conceptual framework. Therefore, I need an editor who can distinguish between: 1. what Heidegger actually says; 2. my interpretation or adaptation of Heideggerian ideas; and 3. the original concepts I develop specifically for Business Being. This distinction is very important to me because I don’t want the English version to unintentionally attribute my own ideas to Heidegger. I have actually translated the book into English several times before, using human translators, but the results were ultimately not viable. The problem was not simply grammar or vocabulary. The philosophical and conceptual structure became awkward or confusing in English, particularly around being, Being, “being,” to be, is, ontological, ontic, and being-in-the-world. I have therefore spent a great deal of time working with Claude on the current English version. We have gone through the manuscript extensively and repeatedly, trying to find a version that preserves the original ideas while making the English more natural. I am not assuming that the current version is perfect. In fact, this is precisely why I am looking for an expert human reader. What I would like to ask you to do Rather than asking you to edit the entire book immediately, I would first like you to read approximately the first eight pages of the English manuscript. Those pages establish the fundamental terminology and explain the central problem surrounding being and is. I would like you to tell me whether, from the perspective of a native English-speaking reader with philosophical training: * the English is natural and readable; * the central argument is understandable; * the distinction I am trying to make between being, to be, and is can work in English; * the Heideggerian terminology is being used appropriately; * the conceptual framework is philosophically coherent; * and, most importantly, whether you believe the overall project is viable in English. If something doesn’t work, I would greatly appreciate knowing why it doesn’t work and, ideally, how you would express the same underlying idea in English without changing the concept itself. I am completely open to changing the wording, terminology, syntax, and even restructuring passages if necessary. What I want to preserve is the underlying philosophical idea. In other words, I am not simply looking for someone to tell me whether the English is grammatically correct. I am looking for someone who can evaluate whether the idea itself survives the transition from Spanish to English. If you feel that the first eight pages demonstrate that the project is viable, I would then be interested in discussing the possibility of working on the rest of the manuscript. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. I would be very interested to hear your thoughts. Best regards, Fernando Vásquez
